1 UDB तब यहोवा ने मूसा से कहा, “मैं मिस्र के राजा और उसके सब लोगों पर एक और विपत्ति लाऊँगा। इसके बाद वह तुम लोगों को मिस्र से भेज देगा। वास्तव में, वह तुम्हें मिस्र से भगा देगा। BSB BSB: Then the LORD said to Moses, “I will bring upon Pharaoh and Egypt one more plague. After that, he will allow you to leave this place. And when he lets you go, he will drive you out completely.
2 UDB तो अब जाकर सब इस्राएलियों से कह कि वे अपने मिस्री पड़ोसियों अर्थात स्त्री-पुरूष सब से कहें कि वे उन्हें अपने सोने-चाँदी के गहने दें।" BSB BSB: Now announce to the people that men and women alike should ask their neighbors for articles of silver and gold.”
3 UDB यहोवा ने मिस्रियों में इस्राएलियों के प्रति बहुत सम्मान उत्पन्न कर दिया था। सच तो यह है कि राजा के कर्मचारी और उसकी प्रजा मूसा को एक महापुरूष मानती थी। BSB BSB: And the LORD gave the people favor in the sight of the Egyptians. Moreover, Moses himself was highly regarded in Egypt by Pharaoh’s officials and by the people.
4 UDB तब मूसा राजा के पास गया और कहा, "यहोवा यह कहते हैं: 'आज आधी रात के समय, मैं मिस्र से होकर निकलूँगा, BSB BSB: So Moses declared, “This is what the LORD says: ‘About midnight I will go throughout Egypt,
5 UDB और मैं सभी पहले पुत्रों के मरने का कारण बनूंगा। मैं राजा के पहले पुत्र से लेकर दासी जो अनाज पीसती है उसके पहले पुत्र सहित सबके पहले पुत्र को मार डालूँगा। मैं तुम्हारे पशुओं के पहले नरों को भी मार दूँगा। BSB BSB: and every firstborn son in the land of Egypt will die, from the firstborn of Pharaoh who sits on his throne, to the firstborn of the servant girl behind the hand mill, as well as the firstborn of all the cattle.
6 UDB ऐसा होने पर संपूर्ण प्रजा चिल्ला-चिल्ला कर विलाप करेगी। ऐसा विलाप जैसा न तो उन्होंने पहले कभी किया और न ही फिर कभी करेंगे। BSB BSB: Then a great cry will go out over all the land of Egypt. Such an outcry has never been heard before and will never be heard again.
7 UDB परन्तु इस्राएल में ऐसी शान्ति होगी कि कुत्ता भी नहीं भौंकेगा। तब तुम निश्चय जान लोगे कि मैं यहोवा इस्राएलियों के साथ पक्षपात करता हूँ।' BSB BSB: But among all the Israelites, not even a dog will snarl at man or beast.’ Then you will know that the LORD makes a distinction between Egypt and Israel.
8 UDB तब तेरे सब अधिकारी आएँगे और मेरे सामने झुककर आग्रह करेंगे, ‘तुम अपने सारे इस्राएली को लेकर मिस्र से निकल जाओ!’ उसके बाद, हम मिस्र से निकल जाएँगे!" यह कह कर मूसा क्रोध में राजा के सामने से चला गया। BSB BSB: And all these officials of yours will come and bow before me, saying, ‘Go, you and all the people who follow you!’ After that, I will depart.” And hot with anger, Moses left Pharaoh’s presence.
9 UDB तब यहोवा ने मूसा से कहा, “राजा तेरी बात नहीं मानेगा इसलिए मैं मिस्र देश में और भी चमत्कार करूँगा।" BSB BSB: The LORD said to Moses, “Pharaoh will not listen to you, so that My wonders may be multiplied in the land of Egypt.”
10 UDB हारून और मूसा ने राजा के सामने ये सब चमत्कार किए परन्तु यहोवा ने राजा को हठीला बना दिया था। राजा ने इस्राएली लोगों को अपनी भूमि छोड़ने नहीं दी। BSB BSB: Moses and Aaron did all these wonders before Pharaoh, but the LORD hardened Pharaoh’s heart so that he would not let the Israelites go out of his land.
