1 UDB बाबेल के लोगों द्वारा हम इस्राएलियों को उनके देश ले जाने के लगभग बारह वर्ष बाद, उस वर्ष के बारहवें महीने के पहले दिन यहोवा ने मुझे एक और सन्देश दिया। उन्होंने मुझसे कहा, BSB BSB: In the twelfth year, on the first day of the twelfth month, the word of the LORD came to me, saying,
2 UDB “हे मनुष्य के पुत्र, मिस्र के राजा फिरौन के विषय में एक दुखद गीत गाओ। उसके लिए यह गाओ: ‘तुम लोग सोचते हो कि तुम राष्ट्रों के बीच एक शेर के समान हो; परन्तु तुम नदी में एक समुद्री राक्षस के समान हो जो पानी में इधर उधर घूमते हुए, अपने पैरों के साथ पानी का मंथन करता है और सारे पानी को गन्दा करता है। BSB BSB: “Son of man, take up a lament for Pharaoh king of Egypt and say to him: ‘You are like a lion among the nations; you are like a monster in the seas. You thrash about in your rivers, churning up the waters with your feet and muddying the streams.’
3 UDB परन्तु मैं, यहोवा परमेश्वर, तुमसे कहता हूँ कि मैं तेरे ऊपर अपने जाल को फेंकने के लिए कई लोगों को भेजूँगा, और तब वे तुझे खींचते हुए भूमि पर ले जाएँगे। BSB BSB: This is what the Lord GOD says: ‘I will spread My net over you with a company of many peoples, and they will draw you up in My net.
4 UDB वे तुझे एक खेत में फेंक देंगे, जहाँ मैं तुझे तेरे भाग्य पर छोड़ दूँगा। मैं पक्षियों को तुझ पर बैठने दूँगा, और सब जंगली जानवर तेरे शव के माँस को तब तक खाएँगे जब तक कि उनके पेट भर न जाएँ। BSB BSB: I will abandon you on the land and hurl you into the open field. I will cause all the birds of the air to settle upon you, and all the beasts of the earth to eat their fill of you.
5 UDB मैं ऐसा करूँगा कि वे तेरे माँस को पर्वतों पर तितर बितर करें और घाटी को तेरे कीड़े लगे शरीर के भागों से भरने दूँगा। BSB BSB: I will put your flesh on the mountains and fill the valleys with your remains.
6 UDB मैं उन्हें भूमि को तेरे खून से भरने दूँगा, और पर्वतों को भी; वे नालियों को तेरे खून से भर देंगे। BSB BSB: I will drench the land with the flow of your blood, all the way to the mountains—the ravines will be filled.
7 UDB जब मैं तेरा और तेरे वंशजों का नाश करूँगा, तब मैं आकाश को ढाँक दूँगा और तारों को चमकने की अनुमति नहीं दूँगा। मैं सूरज के सामने एक काला बादल ले आऊँगा, और चाँद नहीं चमकेगा। BSB BSB: When I extinguish you, I will cover the heavens and darken their stars. I will cover the sun with a cloud, and the moon will not give its light.
8 UDB मैं आकाश के सितारों को अंधेरा कर दूँगा, और तेरे सम्पूर्ण देश पर अंधेरा होगा; यह निश्चय ही होगा क्योंकि मुझ, यहोवा परमेश्वर ने यह कहा है। BSB BSB: All the shining lights in the heavens I will darken over you, and I will bring darkness upon your land,’ declares the Lord GOD.
9 UDB और मैं कई राष्ट्रों के लोगों को डरा दूँगा जब वे सुनेंगे कि मैंने तुझे कैसे नष्ट किया है, उन देशों के लोग; जिनको तू कभी जानता भी नहीं था। BSB BSB: ‘I will trouble the hearts of many peoples, when I bring about your destruction among the nations, in countries you do not know.
10 UDB तेरे साथ जो होगा, उसके कारण मैं कई लोगों को आश्चर्यचकित कर दूँगा; उनके राजा भयभीत होंगे और थरथराएँगे क्योंकि मैंने तुझे नष्ट कर दिया है, जब मैंने तुझे मारने के लिए अपनी तलवार को उनके सामने लहराया। उस समय जब तू मर जाएगा, वे सबके सब थरथराएँगे, इस डर से कि मैं उन्हें भी मार दूँगा। BSB BSB: I will cause many peoples to be appalled over you, and their kings will shudder in horror because of you when I brandish My sword before them. On the day of your downfall each of them will tremble every moment for his life.’
11 UDB मैं, यहोवा परमेश्वर तुझ मिस्र को, बताता हूँ, कि बाबेल के राजा की सेना की तलवारें तुम पर वार करेंगी। BSB BSB: For this is what the Lord GOD says: ‘The sword of the king of Babylon will come against you!
12 UDB मैं बाबेल के शक्तिशाली सैनिकों को तुम्हारे उत्तम से उत्तम सैनिकों को मारने दूँगा- बाबेल के सैनिक, जो अन्य देशों की तुलना में अधिक निर्दयी हैं। वे मिस्र के लोगों के घमण्ड को तोड़ देंगे, क्योंकि वे तुम्हारे बहुत लोगों को मार देंगे। BSB BSB: I will make your hordes fall by the swords of the mighty, the most ruthless of all nations. They will ravage the pride of Egypt and all her multitudes will be destroyed.

14 UDB तब मैं मिस्र की धाराओं को फिर से शान्त होने की और निर्मलता के साथ बहने की अनुमति दूँगा जैसे जैतून का तेल बहता है।” यहोवा परमेश्वर यही घोषणा करते हैं। BSB BSB: Then I will let her waters settle and will make her rivers flow like oil,’ declares the Lord GOD.
15 UDB वह यह भी कहते हैं: “जब मैं मिस्र को खाली कर दूँगा, जब मैं देश में बढ़ने वाली हर वस्तु को तोड़ देता हूँ, और जब मैं वहाँ रहने वाले सब लोगों का नाश कर दूँगा, तब लोग जान लेंगे कि मुझ, यहोवा, में ऐसा करने की शक्ति है जो मैं कहता हूँ कि मैं करूँगा। BSB BSB: ‘When I make the land of Egypt a desolation and empty it of all that filled it, when I strike down all who live there, then they will know that I am the LORD.’

18 UDB “हे मनुष्य के पुत्र, मिस्र के बहुत से लोगों के विषय में विलाप कर, क्योंकि मैं उन्हें पृथ्वी के नीचे के स्थान पर भेजूँगा, जहाँ वे और अन्य शक्तिशाली राष्ट्रों के लोग होंगे। मैं उन्हें दूसरों के साथ, वहाँ उस स्थान पर नीचे भेजूँगा जहाँ मरे हुए लोग हैं। BSB BSB: “Son of man, wail for the multitudes of Egypt, and consign her and the daughters of the mighty nations to the depths of the earth with those who descend to the Pit:
19 UDB उनसे कहो, ‘हे मिस्र के लोगों, तुम सोचते हो कि अन्य राष्ट्रों के लोगों की तुलना में तुम अधिक सुन्दर हो। परन्तु तुम भी उस स्थान पर उतरोगे जहाँ मरे हुए अधर्मी लोग हैं। BSB BSB: Whom do you surpass in beauty? Go down and be placed with the uncircumcised!
20 UDB कई अन्य लोगों के साथ तुम मर जाओगे जिनको उनके शत्रुओं ने मारा है। उनके शत्रुओं ने आक्रमण करना आरम्भ कर दिया है, और वे मिस्र के लोगों को बड़ी संख्या में घसीट कर ले जाएँगे। BSB BSB: They will fall among those slain by the sword. The sword is appointed! Let them drag her away along with all her multitudes.
21 UDB उस स्थान पर जहाँ मरे हुए लोग हैं, अन्य देशों के शक्तिशाली अगुवे तुम मिस्र के लोगों का और तुम्हारे सहयोगियों का उपहास करेंगे। वे कहेंगे कि तुम उनके साथ लेटने के लिए आए हो, उन अधर्मी लोगों के साथ जिनको उनके शत्रुओं ने मार डाला था। BSB BSB: Mighty chiefs will speak from the midst of Sheol about Egypt and her allies: ‘They have come down and lie with the uncircumcised, with those slain by the sword.’

All of them are slain, fallen by the sword—those who once spread terror in the land of the living.

All of them are slain, fallen by the sword—those who went down uncircumcised to the earth below, who once spread their terror in the land of the living. They bear their disgrace with those who descend to the Pit.

They are placed among the slain.
26 UDB मेशेक और तूबल देशों के सब सैनिकों के मरे हुए भी अपने दासों की एक बड़ी भीड़ की कब्रों से घिरे हुए वहाँ होंगे। जब वे जीवित थे, उन्होंने भी कई स्थानों में लोगों को भयभीत किया हुआ था। वे खतनारहित लोग हैं जिनको उनके शत्रुओं ने मार डाला होगा। BSB BSB: Meshech and Tubal are there with all their multitudes, with their graves all around them. All of them are uncircumcised, slain by the sword, because they spread their terror in the land of the living.

28 UDB हे मिस्र के राजा, मैं तुझे भी मार डालूँगा, और तू उन अन्य अधर्मी लोगों के साथ पड़ा रहेगा जिनको उनके शत्रुओं ने मार डाला होगा। BSB BSB: But you too will be shattered and lie down among the uncircumcised, with those slain by the sword.

They lie down with the uncircumcised, with those who descend to the Pit.
