This is what the Lord GOD says to the mountains and hills, to the ravines and valleys, to the desolate ruins and abandoned cities, which have become a spoil and a mockery to the rest of the nations around you.

8 UDB परन्तु मैं तुम इस्राएल के पर्वतों से कहता हूँ कि मेरे इस्राएली लोगों के लिए तुम्हारे पेड़ों से फल की बड़ी फसल उग जाएगी, क्योंकि वे शीघ्र ही बाबेल से घर लौट आएँगे। BSB BSB: But you, O mountains of Israel, will produce branches and bear fruit for My people Israel, for they will soon come home.
9 UDB मैं तुम्हारी सहायता करने के लिए कार्य करूँगा, और मैं तुम्हारे प्रति दयालु रहूँगा। मैं किसानों को तुम्हारी भूमि में हल जोतने और बीज बोने में समर्थ करूँगा। BSB BSB: For behold, I am on your side; I will turn toward you, and you will be tilled and sown.
10 UDB मैं उन लोगों की संख्या को बहुतायत से बढ़ने दूँगा जो वहाँ ऊपर तुम पर्वतों पर हैं और इस्राएल में जहाँ कहीं भी रहते हैं। लोग शहरों में रहेंगे और वहाँ घरों का फिर से निर्माण करेंगे जहाँ अभी केवल खण्डहर हैं। BSB BSB: I will multiply the people upon you—the house of Israel in its entirety. The cities will be inhabited and the ruins rebuilt.
11 UDB मैं लोगों और घरेलू जानवरों की संख्या को बढ़ने दूँगा। लोगों के कई बच्चे होंगे। मैं लोगों को वहाँ वैसे ही रहने के लिए समर्थ कर दूँगा जैसे वे पहले वहाँ रहते थे, और मैं उन्हें समृद्ध होने में समर्थ करूँगा जैसा उन्होंने पहले किया था। तब तुम जानोगे कि मुझ, यहोवा, में वह करने की शक्ति है जो मैं कहता हूँ कि मैं करूँगा। BSB BSB: I will fill you with people and animals, and they will multiply and be fruitful. I will make you as inhabited as you once were, and I will make you prosper more than before. Then you will know that I am the LORD.

13 UDB मैं, यहोवा, तुम पर्वतों को यह बता रहा हूँ: यह सच है कि लोगों ने कहा है कि वे तुम पर की फसलों को नहीं बढ़ा सकते हैं, और इसलिए वे भूख से मर गए हैं। BSB BSB: For this is what the Lord GOD says: Because people say to you, ‘You devour men and deprive your nation of its children,’
14 UDB परन्तु अब यह नहीं होगा। BSB BSB: therefore you will no longer devour men or deprive your nation of its children, declares the Lord GOD.
15 UDB अब अन्य जातियाँ तुम पर्वतों का उपहास नहीं करेंगी। अब वे तुम पर नहीं हँसेंगे; अब तुम पर्वत अपने देश को कभी भी पराजय से पीड़ित नहीं करोगे। मैं, यहोवा परमेश्वर, स्वयं ही तुमको यह बता रहा हूँ।’” BSB BSB: I will no longer allow the taunts of the nations to be heard against you, and you will no longer endure the reproach of the peoples or cause your nation to stumble, declares the Lord GOD.”
16 UDB यहोवा ने मुझे एक और सन्देश दिया। उन्होंने कहा, BSB BSB: Again the word of the LORD came to me, saying,

Their behavior before Me was like the uncleanness of a woman’s impurity.

Then the nations will know that I am the LORD, declares the Lord GOD, when I show My holiness in you before their eyes.
24 UDB मैं तुमको उन दूर के देशों से बाहर ले आऊँगा। मैं तुमको उन सब स्थानों से एकत्र करूँगा जहाँ तुमको जाना पड़ा था, और मैं तुमको अपने देश में वापस लाऊँगा। BSB BSB: For I will take you from among the nations and gather you out of all the countries, and I will bring you back into your own land.
25 UDB यह ऐसा होगा जैसे मानों मैं तुम्हारे ऊपर साफ पानी छिड़कूँगा, और फिर तुम शुद्ध हो जाओगे। मैं तुमको उन सब बातों से शुद्ध कर दूँगा जिनके कारण तुम मेरे लिए अस्वीकार्य हो गए थे, और मैं तुमसे मूर्तियों की उपासना बन्द करवा दूँगा। BSB BSB: I will also sprinkle clean water on you, and you will be clean. I will cleanse you from all your impurities and all your idols.
26 UDB मैं तुमको सोचने की एक बिलकुल नई रीति दूँगा। मैं तुमको हठीले होने से रोकने में समर्थ करूँगा, और मैं तुमको तुम्हारे भीतरी मन से मेरी आज्ञा मानने में समर्थ करूँगा। BSB BSB: I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; I will remove your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh.
27 UDB मैं अपनी आत्मा तुम्हारे भीतर रखूँगा और तुमको मेरे सब नियमों का ध्यानपूर्वक पालन करने में समर्थ करूँगा। BSB BSB: And I will put My Spirit within you and cause you to walk in My statutes and to carefully observe My ordinances.
28 UDB तुम फिर उस देश में रहोगे जिसे मैंने तुम्हारे पूर्वजों को दिया था। तुम मेरे लोग होगे, और मैं तुम्हारा परमेश्वर होऊँगा। BSB BSB: Then you will live in the land that I gave your forefathers; you will be My people, and I will be your God.
29 UDB मैं तुमको उन सब बातों से मुक्त कर दूँगा जिनके कारण तुम मेरे लिए अस्वीकार्य हो गए थे। मैं तुम्हें भरपूर मात्रा में अन्न दूँगा, और मैं तुम पर फिर से अकाल नहीं भेजूँगा। BSB BSB: I will save you from all your uncleanness. I will summon the grain and make it plentiful, and I will not bring famine upon you.
30 UDB मैं तुम्हारे फलों के पेड़ों को बहुत सारे फल और तुम्हारी भूमि को बहुत सारी अच्छी फसल पैदा करने दूँगा, जिसके परिणामस्वरूप अन्य देशों के लोग तुम्हारा उपहास नहीं करेंगे क्योंकि तुम्हारे पास पर्याप्त भोजन नहीं है। BSB BSB: I will also make the fruit of the trees and the crops of the field plentiful, so that you will no longer bear reproach among the nations on account of famine.

Be ashamed and disgraced for your ways, O house of Israel!
33 UDB मैं, यहोवा परमेश्वर, तुमसे यह भी कहता हूँ: उस समय जब मैं तुमको तुम्हारे सब पापों से शुद्ध करता हूँ, तो मैं तुमको अपने शहरों में फिर से रहने और घरों को बनाने के लिए समर्थ करूँगा जहाँ अब केवल खण्डहर हैं। BSB BSB: This is what the Lord GOD says: On the day I cleanse you from all your iniquities, I will cause the cities to be resettled and the ruins to be rebuilt.
34 UDB जो लोग तुम्हारे देश से होकर जाते हैं, वे देखेंगे कि तुम एक बार फिर अपने देश में खेती कर रहे हो, और यह कि तुम्हारे लोग फिर से इसमें रह रहे हैं। BSB BSB: The desolate land will be cultivated instead of lying desolate in the sight of all who pass through.

I, the LORD, have spoken, and I will do it.

Then they will know that I am the LORD.”
