3 UDB आपने मुझसे पूछा, ‘मैं जो करने की योजना बनाता हूँ उसमें भ्रम लाने वाला तू कौन है? तुम अज्ञानता की बातें कर रहा है! यह सच है कि मैंने उन बातों के विषय में बोला जो मुझे समझ में नहीं आई, वे बातें जो बहुत ही आश्चर्यजनक हैं, वे बातें जिनके विषय में मुझे कुछ नहीं पता है। BSB BSB: You asked, ‘Who is this who conceals My counsel without knowledge?’ Surely I spoke of things I did not understand, things too wonderful for me to know.
4 UDB आपने मुझसे कहा, ‘सुन जब मैं तुझसे बात करता हूँ। मैं तुझसे कुछ प्रश्न पूछना चाहता हूँ, इसलिए स्वयं को उत्तर देने के लिए तैयार कर।’ BSB BSB: You said, ‘Listen now, and I will speak. I will question you, and you shall inform Me.’
5 UDB मैंने पहले आपके विषय में अफवाह ही सुनी, परन्तु अब ऐसा लगता है कि मानों मैंने आपको अपनी आँखों से देखा है। BSB BSB: My ears had heard of You, but now my eyes have seen You.
6 UDB इसलिए मैंने जो कहा, उसके लिए मैं लज्जित हूँ, और मैं यह दिखाने के लिए धूल और राख में बैठता हूँ कि मैंने जो कहा उसके लिए मैं खेदित हूँ।” BSB BSB: Therefore I despise myself, and I repent in dust and ashes.”
8 UDB इसलिए अब तुम्हें अय्यूब के पास सात युवा बैल और सात मेढ़े ले जाना चाहिए और उन्हें मार डालना चाहिए और वेदी पर उन्हें अपने लिए बलि के रूप में जला देना चाहिए। तब अय्यूब तुम्हारे लिए प्रार्थना करेगा, और मैं वह करूँगा जो वह मुझसे करने के लिए निवेदन करता है। मैं तुमको मेरे विषय में गलत बोलने के लिए क्षमा कर दूँगा। मैं तुमको दण्ड नहीं दूँगा, जबकि तुम दण्ड के योग्य हों, क्योंकि तुमने मेरे विषय में जो कहा वह सही नहीं था।” BSB BSB: So now, take seven bulls and seven rams, go to My servant Job, and sacrifice a burnt offering for yourselves. Then My servant Job will pray for you, for I will accept his prayer and not deal with you according to your folly. For you have not spoken accurately about Me, as My servant Job has.”
9 UDB तब एलीपज, बिल्दद और सोपर ने वह किया जो यहोवा ने करने का आदेश दिया, और यहोवा ने वह किया जो अय्यूब ने उनसे उन तीनों के लिए करने का अनुरोध किया। BSB BSB: So Eliphaz the Temanite, Bildad the Shuhite, and Zophar the Naamathite went and did as the LORD had told them; and the LORD accepted Job’s prayer.
10 UDB अय्यूब के अपने तीन मित्रों के लिए प्रार्थना करने के बाद, यहोवा ने उसे ठीक किया और उसे फिर से धनवान बना दिया। यहोवा ने उसे उससे दोगुनी वस्तुएँ दीं, जितनी पहले उसके पास थीं। BSB BSB: After Job had prayed for his friends, the LORD restored his prosperity and doubled his former possessions.
11 UDB तब उसके सब भाई और बहन, और जो लोग उसे पहले जानते थे, उसके घर आए, और उन्होंने एक साथ भोजन किया। उन्होंने उन सब परेशानियों के विषय में उसे सांत्वना दी जिन्हें यहोवा ने उसके साथ होने की अनुमति दी थी। उनमें से प्रत्येक ने अय्यूब को चाँदी का एक टुकड़ा और एक सोने की अंगूठी दी। BSB BSB: All his brothers and sisters and prior acquaintances came and dined with him in his house. They consoled him and comforted him over all the adversity that the LORD had brought upon him. And each one gave him a piece of silver and a gold ring.
12 UDB तब यहोवा ने उसके जीवन की दूसरी बार में अय्यूब को उससे बढ़कर आशीषें दीं, जितनी उन्होंने उसे उसके जीवन के पहली बार में आशीषें दीं थीं। अब उसने चौदह हजार भेड़ें, छः हजार ऊँट, एक हजार बैल, और एक हजार गधियाँ प्राप्त कीं। BSB BSB: So the LORD blessed Job’s latter days more than his first. He owned 14,000 sheep, 6,000 camels, 1,000 yoke of oxen, and 1,000 female donkeys.
13 UDB और उसके सात और पुत्र हुए, तथा तीन और पुत्रियाँ भी हुई थीं। BSB BSB: And he also had seven sons and three daughters.
14 UDB उसने पहली पुत्री को यमीमा नाम दिया, उसने दूसरी पुत्री को कसीआ नाम दिया, और उसने तीसरी पुत्री को केरेन्हप्पूक नाम दिया। BSB BSB: He named his first daughter Jemimah, his second Keziah, and his third Keren-happuch.
15 UDB ऊज़ के सारे देश में, कोई भी ऐसी युवा स्त्रियाँ नहीं थीं जो अय्यूब की पुत्रियों के समान सुन्दर थीं, और अय्यूब ने घोषणा की कि वे उसकी कुछ-कुछ सम्पत्तियों की वारिस होंगी, जैसे उनके भाई वारिस होंगे। BSB BSB: No women as beautiful as Job’s daughters could be found in all the land, and their father granted them an inheritance among their brothers.
16 UDB उसके बाद, अय्यूब 140 वर्ष तक और जीवित रहा। उसकी मृत्यु से पहले, उसने अपने परपोतों (चार पीढ़ियों तक) को देखा। BSB BSB: After this, Job lived 140 years and saw his children and their children to the fourth generation.
17 UDB जब वह मरा तो वह बहुत बूढ़ा हो गया था। BSB BSB: And so Job died, old and full of years.
