1 UDB यहोवा की आज्ञा के विपरीत धूप जलाने के कारण हारून के दो पुत्रों की मृत्यु हो जाने के बाद यहोवा ने मूसा से कहा, BSB BSB: Now the LORD spoke to Moses after the death of two of Aaron’s sons when they approached the presence of the LORD.
2 UDB “अपने भाई हारून से कह कि वह परदे के पीछे परम पवित्र स्थान में, जहाँ मैं पवित्र सन्दूक और उसके ढक्कन के ऊपर बादल के रूप में उपस्थित रहता हूँ, उचित समय के अतिरिक्त कभी न जाए, अन्यथा वह मर जाएगा। BSB BSB: And the LORD said to Moses: “Tell your brother Aaron not to enter freely into the Most Holy Place behind the veil in front of the mercy seat on the ark, or else he will die, because I appear in the cloud above the mercy seat.
3 UDB जब हारून पवित्र-तम्बू में परम पवित्र स्थान में प्रवेश करे तब वह पहले एक बैल की बलि दे कर के अपने लिए पाप-बलि चढ़ाए और एक मेढ़ा होम-बलि करे। BSB BSB: This is how Aaron is to enter the Holy Place: with a young bull for a sin offering and a ram for a burnt offering.
4 UDB इसके बाद हारून स्नान करके मलमल का जांघिया और अंगरखा पहने। वह कमरबंध बांधे और सिर पर पगड़ी धारण करे। ये उसके पवित्र वस्त्र हैं। BSB BSB: He is to wear the sacred linen tunic, with linen undergarments. He must tie a linen sash around him and put on the linen turban. These are holy garments, and he must bathe himself with water before he wears them.
5 UDB तब इस्राएली दो बकरे उसके पास लाकर अपने पापों के लिए उन्हें बलि करें और एक मेढ़ा वेदी पर पूर्ण रूप से भस्म करें। BSB BSB: And he shall take from the congregation of Israel two male goats for a sin offering and one ram for a burnt offering.
6 UDB हारून वह बैल मेरे लिए बलि करे कि मैं उसके और उसके परिवार के लिए पापों को क्षमा करूँ। BSB BSB: Aaron is to present the bull for his sin offering and make atonement for himself and his household.
7 UDB इसके बाद वह उन दोनों बकरों को पवित्र-तम्बू के द्वार पर ले आए। BSB BSB: Then he shall take the two goats and present them before the LORD at the entrance to the Tent of Meeting.
8 UDB और उन पर चिट्ठियाँ डाल कर ज्ञात करे कि कौन सा बकरा बलि किया जाए और कौन सा छोड़ दिया जाए। BSB BSB: After Aaron casts lots for the two goats, one for the LORD and the other for the scapegoat,
9 UDB अब जो बकरा बलि के लिए निकला उसे हारून प्रजा के पापों के लिए बलि करे। BSB BSB: he shall present the goat chosen by lot for the LORD and sacrifice it as a sin offering.
10 UDB हारून दूसरे बकरे को भी मेरे सामने लाए परन्तु उसकी बलि न दे। वह जीवित छोड़ दिया जाए। हारून उसे जंगल में छुड़वाएगा तो मैं प्रजा के पाप क्षमा कर दूँगा। BSB BSB: But the goat chosen by lot as the scapegoat shall be presented alive before the LORD to make atonement by sending it into the wilderness as the scapegoat.
11 UDB सबसे पहले हारून एक बैल को मेरे लिए बलि चढ़ाए। वह उसे उसके और उसके परिवार के पापों के लिए बलि दे और उसका लहू एक पात्र में ले। BSB BSB: When Aaron presents the bull for his sin offering and makes atonement for himself and his household, he is to slaughter the bull for his own sin offering.
12 UDB फिर वह पीतल की वेदी से कुछ कोयले लेकर धूपदान में रखे और कुटी हुई सुगंधित धूप से मुट्ठियाँ भरे और पवित्र-तम्बू में परदे के पीछे परम पवित्र स्थान में प्रवेश करे। BSB BSB: Then he must take a censer full of burning coals from the altar before the LORD, and two handfuls of finely ground fragrant incense, and take them inside the veil.
13 UDB यहोवा की उपस्थिति में वह कोयलों पर धूप डाले जिससे धूआं उठ कर पवित्र-तम्बू के ढक्कन पर जाएगा। वह मेरी आज्ञा के अनुसार करे तो वह यहोवा के सामने भेंट चढ़ाते समय नहीं मरेगा। BSB BSB: He is to put the incense on the fire before the LORD, and the cloud of incense will cover the mercy seat above the Testimony, so that he will not die.
14 UDB फिर हारून लहू के पात्र में उंगली डुबा कर पवित्र सन्दूक के ढक्कन पर लहू छिड़के और पवित्र सन्दूक पर भी छिड़के। BSB BSB: And he is to take some of the bull’s blood and sprinkle it with his finger on the east side of the mercy seat; then he shall sprinkle some of it with his finger seven times before the mercy seat.
15 UDB इसके बाद वह पवित्र-तम्बू से निकल कर प्रजा के पापों के लिए बकरा बलि करे और उसका लहू लेकर परदे के पीछे परम पवित्र स्थान में आए और कुछ लहू पवित्र सन्दूक के ढक्कन पर छिड़के तब पवित्र सन्दूक पर भी लहू छिड़के जैसा उसने बैल के लहू से किया था। BSB BSB: Aaron shall then slaughter the goat for the sin offering for the people and bring its blood behind the veil, and with its blood he must do as he did with the bull’s blood: He is to sprinkle it against the mercy seat and in front of it.
16 UDB ऐसा करके वह परम पवित्र स्थान को शुद्ध करेगा। वह पवित्र-तम्बू पर और अधिक लहू छिड़के क्योंकि मैं इस्राएलियों की छावनी के मध्य तम्बू में उपस्थित रहता हूँ। इस्राएली अपने पापों के कारण मेरी दृष्टि में अस्वीकार्य हो गए हैं। BSB BSB: So he shall make atonement for the Most Holy Place because of the impurities and rebellious acts of the Israelites in regard to all their sins. He is to do the same for the Tent of Meeting which abides among them in the midst of their impurities.
17 UDB जब हारून पवित्र-तम्बू के परम पवित्र स्थान में प्रवेश करे कि उसका शोधन करे तब पवित्र-तम्बू में प्रवेश की अनुमति अन्य किसी को नहीं है। जब हारून अपने और अपने परिवार के और संपूर्ण प्रजा के पापों की क्षमा के लिए मेरे सम्मुख विधिपूर्ति कर ले तब ही किसी याजक को पवित्र-तम्बू में प्रवेश करने की अनुमति होगी। BSB BSB: No one may be in the Tent of Meeting from the time Aaron goes in to make atonement in the Most Holy Place until he leaves, after he has made atonement for himself, his household, and the whole assembly of Israel.
18 UDB इसके बाद हारून तम्बू से बाहर आकर मेरी वेदी का शोधन करे जिसके लिए वह बैल का तथा बकरे का लहू लेकर बारी-बारी वेदी के चारों सींगों पर लगाए। BSB BSB: Then he shall go out to the altar that is before the LORD and make atonement for it. He is to take some of the bull’s blood and some of the goat’s blood and put it on all the horns of the altar.
19 UDB इसके बाद हारून लहू में अपनी उंगली डुबा कर वेदी पर सात बार छिड़के। ऐसा करके वह मुझे अस्वीकार्य इस्राएलियों के व्यवहार से वेदी को अलग करेगा और वेदी मेरे लिए पवित्र की जाएगी। BSB BSB: He is to sprinkle some of the blood on it with his finger seven times to cleanse it and consecrate it from the uncleanness of the Israelites.
20 UDB तम्बू के परम पवित्र स्थान, संपूर्ण पवित्र-तम्बू और वेदी का शोधन करने के पश्चात् हारून उस बकरे को ले जिसे छोड़ा जाना है। BSB BSB: When Aaron has finished purifying the Most Holy Place, the Tent of Meeting, and the altar, he is to bring forward the live goat.
21 UDB वह उसके सिर पर अपने दोनों हाथों को रखे और इस्राएलियों के सब पापों का स्वीकार करे। इस प्रकार वह उनके पापों का संपूर्ण दोष उस बकरे के सिर पर मढ़ देगा। तब वह एक चुने हुए व्यक्ति को वह बकरा सौंपे कि वह जंगल में छोड़ आए। BSB BSB: Then he is to lay both hands on the head of the live goat and confess over it all the iniquities and rebellious acts of the Israelites in regard to all their sins. He is to put them on the goat’s head and send it away into the wilderness by the hand of a man appointed for the task.
22 UDB वह बकरा मेरे लिए इस्राएलियों के सब पापों को उठा कर दूर जंगल में जाने वाला ठहरेगा। BSB BSB: The goat will carry on itself all their iniquities into a solitary place, and the man will release it into the wilderness.
23 UDB जब हारून परम पवित्र स्थान से निकल कर पवित्र-तम्बू के अन्य भाग में आए तब वह अपने मलमल के वस्त्र उतार कर वहीं रख दे। BSB BSB: Then Aaron is to enter the Tent of Meeting, take off the linen garments he put on before entering the Most Holy Place, and leave them there.
24 UDB वह एक पवित्र स्थान में स्नान करके अपने साधारण वस्त्र धारण करे और बाहर जाकर अपने पापों के लिए और प्रजा के पापों के लिए होम-बलि के पशुओं की बलि दे तो यहोवा उनके पाप क्षमा करेंगे। BSB BSB: He is to bathe himself with water in a holy place and put on his own clothes. Then he must go out and sacrifice his burnt offering and the people’s burnt offering to make atonement for himself and for the people.
25 UDB वह वेदी पर उन दोनों पशुओं की सारी चर्बी जलाए। BSB BSB: He is also to burn the fat of the sin offering on the altar.
26 UDB अब वह व्यक्ति जो बकरे को जंगल में छोड़ने गया था अपना काम पूरा करके लौटे तो अपने वस्त्र धोकर स्नान करे तब ही शिविर में प्रवेश करे। BSB BSB: The man who released the goat as the scapegoat must wash his clothes and bathe himself with water; afterward he may reenter the camp.
27 UDB प्रायश्चित के लिए बलि किए गए बैल और बकरे को शिविर के बाहर ले जाकर जला दिया जाए- उसकी खाल, भीतरी अंग और गोबर आदि सब जला दिए जाएँ। BSB BSB: The bull for the sin offering and the goat for the sin offering, whose blood was brought into the Most Holy Place to make atonement, must be taken outside the camp; and their hides, flesh, and dung must be burned up.
28 UDB जो मनुष्य उन्हें भस्म करने का काम करे वह शिविर में लौटने से पूर्व अपने वस्त्र धोकर स्नान करे। BSB BSB: The one who burns them must wash his clothes and bathe himself with water, and afterward he may reenter the camp.
29 UDB सातवें महीने के दसवें दिन को मैंने नियुक्त किया है कि सब इस्राएली उपवास रख कर हर प्रकार के काम से अवकाश लें। तुम्हें यह विधि सदा माननी है- सब इस्राएली और उनके मध्य वास करने वाले सब परदेशी इसका पालन करें। BSB BSB: This is to be a permanent statute for you: On the tenth day of the seventh month, you shall humble yourselves and not do any work—whether the native or the foreigner who resides among you—
30 UDB उस दिन मुझसे सब के पापों की क्षमा पाने के लिए हारून विधियों की पूर्ति करेगा तब मैं तुम्हें सब पापों के दोष से मुक्त कर दूँगा। BSB BSB: because on this day atonement will be made for you to cleanse you, and you will be clean from all your sins before the LORD.
31 UDB वह दिन सब्त के दिन के समान काम से अवकाश एवं विश्राम का दिन होगा। उस संपूर्ण दिन तुम सब उपवास करोगे। यह तुम सब के लिए एक अटल आज्ञा है। BSB BSB: It is a Sabbath of complete rest for you, that you may humble yourselves; it is a permanent statute.
32 UDB याजक जिसका जैतून के तेल से अभिषेक करके यहोवा की सेवा के लिए सब से अलग किया गया है वह बलियाँ चढ़ाएगा और यहोवा की महिमा के निमित्त अलग किए गए मलमल के वस्त्र धारण करके बलियाँ चढ़ाएगा। BSB BSB: The priest who is anointed and ordained to succeed his father as high priest shall make atonement. He will put on the sacred linen garments
33 UDB इस प्रकार वह परम पवित्र स्थान, संपूर्ण पवित्र-तम्बू, वेदी, याजकों और सब इस्राएलियों को शुद्ध करेगा जैसा हारून ने किया है। BSB BSB: and make atonement for the Most Holy Place, the Tent of Meeting, and the altar, and for the priests and all the people of the assembly.
34 UDB यह तुम सब के लिए एक दम अटल आज्ञा है कि प्रतिवर्ष इसका पालन करो जिससे कि मैं तुम इस्राएलियों के पापों को क्षमा करूँ। BSB BSB: This is to be a permanent statute for you, to make atonement once a year for the Israelites because of all their sins.” And all this was done as the LORD had commanded Moses.
