1 UDB और फिर यहोवा ने मूसा से कहा, BSB BSB: Then the LORD said to Moses,
2 UDB “हारून और उसके पुत्रों को समझा दे कि वे इस्राएलियों द्वारा मुझे चढ़ाए गए समर्पित भोजन को कब स्पर्श न करें और न खाएँ। वे न तो मेरा और न ही मेरे नाम का अपमान करें। मैं यहोवा हूँ। BSB BSB: “Tell Aaron and his sons to treat with respect the sacred offerings that the Israelites have consecrated to Me, so that they do not profane My holy name. I am the LORD.
3 UDB उनसे कह दे कि भविष्य में कभी भी वे या उनके वंशज किसी भी कारणवश याजकीय सेवा में अयोग्य हो जाएँ तो वे इस्राएलियों द्वारा मेरे लिए लाई गई समर्पित बलियों के निकट न जाएँ। जो कोई मेरी इस आज्ञा का उल्लंघन करे वह समाज से निकाल दिया जाए। मैं यहोवा हूँ। BSB BSB: Tell them that for the generations to come, if any of their descendants in a state of uncleanness approaches the sacred offerings that the Israelites consecrate to the LORD, that person must be cut off from My presence. I am the LORD.
4 UDB हारून के वंशजों में जिसे चर्मरोग हो या गुप्तांगों में किसी प्रकार का रिसाव हो तो वह स्वस्थ होने तक कोई भी भेंट की पवित्र वस्तु न खाए। यदि वह शव के संबंध में आई हुई किसी वस्तु का स्पर्श करे या जिस का वीर्य स्खलित हुआ उसका स्पर्श करे, तो वह याजकीय सेवा के योग्य नहीं रहेगा। BSB BSB: If a descendant of Aaron has a skin disease or a discharge, he may not eat the sacred offerings until he is clean. Whoever touches anything defiled by a corpse or by a man who has an emission of semen,
5 UDB या भूमि पर रेंगने वाले किसी जन्तु के स्पर्श में आया हो या किसी ऐसे व्यक्ति के स्पर्श में आया हो कि सेवा के योग्य न रहे। BSB BSB: or whoever touches a crawling creature or a person that makes him unclean, whatever the uncleanness may be—
6 UDB किसी अशुद्ध के स्पर्श में आने के कारण याजक संध्याकाल तक अशुद्ध रहेगा। वह जब तक पानी से स्नान न करे, किसी भी पवित्र वस्तु को न खाए। BSB BSB: the man who touches any of these will remain unclean until evening. He must not eat from the sacred offerings unless he has bathed himself with water.
7 UDB सूर्यास्त के बाद वह पवित्र भेंटों में से खा सकता है क्योंकि वे वस्तुयें उसके भोजन की हैं। BSB BSB: When the sun has set, he will become clean, and then he may eat from the sacred offerings, for they are his food.
8 UDB यदि कोई पशु प्राकृतिक रूप से मरे या वनपशु द्वारा मारा जाए उसे वह कदापि न खाए। यदि वह ऐसा करे तो वह मेरी सेवा के योग्य नहीं है। मैं यहोवा ये आज्ञाएँ देता हूँ। BSB BSB: He must not eat anything found dead or torn by wild animals, which would make him unclean. I am the LORD.
9 UDB याजक मेरी आज्ञाओं का पालन करें। उनका तिरस्कार करें तो वे दोषी होकर मर जाएँगे। मैं यहोवा हूँ जिसने उन्हें अपने सम्मान के निमित्त अलग किया है। BSB BSB: The priests must keep My charge, lest they bear the guilt and die because they profane it. I am the LORD who sanctifies them.
10 UDB जो याजकों के परिवार का सदस्य नहीं है उसे पवित्र भेंटों में से खाने की अनुमति नहीं है। याजक का अतिथि या वैतनिक सेवक पवित्र वस्तुओं को खाने न पाए। BSB BSB: No one outside a priest’s family may eat the sacred offering, nor may the guest of a priest or his hired hand eat it.
11 UDB यदि याजक ने किसी दास को मोल ले लिया है या दास उसके कुटुम्ब में जन्मा है तो वह उन्हें खा सकता है। BSB BSB: But if a priest buys a slave with his own money, or if a slave is born in his household, that slave may eat his food.
12 UDB यदि याजक की पुत्री का विवाह किसी ऐसे पुरुष से हुआ है जो याजक नहीं है तो उसे भी पवित्र वस्तुओं को खाने की अनुमति नहीं है- अर्थात् यहोवा को चढ़ाई गई भेंट या बलि। BSB BSB: If the priest’s daughter is married to a man other than a priest, she is not to eat of the sacred contributions.
13 UDB यदि याजक की स्त्री बिना सन्तान विधवा हो गई या उसे तलाक दे दिया गया है और वह अपने पिता के घर में अविवाहित स्थिति जैसी रहती है तो वह उस भोजन को खा सकती है जो उसका पिता खाता है। अन्य कोई भी उन वस्तुओं को खाने का अधिकार नहीं रखता है। BSB BSB: But if a priest’s daughter with no children becomes widowed or divorced and returns to her father’s house, she may share her father’s food as in her youth. But no outsider may share it.
14 UDB यदि कोई भूल से पवित्र वस्तु खा ले तो वह याजक को उसका मूल्य चुकाए और उसके अतिरिक्त पाँचवा भाग और दे। BSB BSB: If anyone eats a sacred offering in error, he must add a fifth to its value and give the sacred offering to the priest.
15 UDB जब इस्राएलियों द्वारा लाई गई पवित्र भेंटें याजक को सौंपते हैं कि वह उन्हें मेरे लिए चढ़ाए तब वे उन्हें मेरे लिए विशेष न समझने की भूल न करें। BSB BSB: The priests must not profane the sacred offerings that the Israelites present to the LORD
16 UDB इस्राएली याजक के अतिरिक्त अन्य किसी को भी उन भेंटों में से न खाने दें। यदि वे ऐसा न करें तो वे दोषी होंगे। मैं यहोवा हूँ जिसने इस्राएलियों को अन्य जातियों से अलग किया है और अपने सम्मान के लिए उन्हें पवित्र किया है।” BSB BSB: by allowing the people to eat the sacred offerings and thus to bear the punishment for guilt. For I am the LORD who sanctifies them.”
17 UDB फिर यहोवा ने मूसा से कहा, BSB BSB: Then the LORD said to Moses,
18 UDB “हारून और उसके पुत्रों से वरन् सब इस्राएलियों से कह दे कि यह मेरी आज्ञा है, ‘यदि तुम में से कोई भी या परदेशी जो तुम्हारे मध्य वास करता है, मेरे लिए होम-बलि लाता है, चाहे वह मन्नत मानने की हो या स्वेच्छा बलि हो, BSB BSB: “Speak to Aaron and his sons and all the Israelites and tell them, ‘Any man of the house of Israel or any foreign resident who presents a gift for a burnt offering to the LORD, whether to fulfill a vow or as a freewill offering,
19 UDB तो वह तुम्हारे गाय, बैलों, भेड़ों, बकरियों में से निर्दोष पशु ही हों कि मैं उन्हें ग्रहण करूँ। BSB BSB: must offer an unblemished male from the cattle, sheep, or goats in order for it to be accepted on your behalf.
20 UDB ऐसे पशु कभी मत लाना जिनमें दोष हों क्योंकि उन्हें मैं कभी ग्रहण नहीं करूँगा। BSB BSB: You must not present anything with a defect, because it will not be accepted on your behalf.
21 UDB इसी प्रकार जब कोई अपने गाय-बैलों, भेड़-बकरियों में से मेल-बलि के लिए पशु लाता है कि मन्नत पूरी करे या स्वेच्छा बलि चढ़ाए तो उन्हें मेरे लिए ग्रहणयोग्य होने के लिए निर्दोष होना है। BSB BSB: When a man presents a peace offering to the LORD from the herd or flock to fulfill a vow or as a freewill offering, it must be without blemish or defect to be acceptable.
22 UDB अंधा, घायल, लंगड़ा या जिसमें रसौली हो या खुजली हो उसे बलि मत करना। BSB BSB: You are not to present to the LORD any animal that is blind, injured, or maimed, or anything with a running sore, a festering rash, or a scab; you must not put any of these on the altar as a food offering to the LORD.
23 UDB स्वेच्छा बलि के लिए तुम घायल या अविकसित बछड़ा या भेड़ चढ़ा तो सकते हो परन्तु तुम्हारी मन्नत कभी नहीं मानी जायेगी। BSB BSB: You may present as a freewill offering an ox or sheep that has a deformed or stunted limb, but it is not acceptable in fulfillment of a vow.
24 UDB तुम खस्सी पशु अर्थात् अंडकोश क्षतिग्रस्त पशु बलि नहीं करना, चाहे तुम देश में कहीं भी वास करते हो। BSB BSB: You are not to present to the LORD an animal whose testicles are bruised, crushed, torn, or cut; you are not to sacrifice them in your land.
25 UDB परदेशियों से ऐसे पशु मोल भी नहीं लेना। मेरे भोजन के लिए ऐसे पशु मत चढ़ाना क्योंकि मैं विकृत या दोषपूर्ण पशु को ग्रहण नहीं करूँगा।’” BSB BSB: Neither you nor a foreigner shall present food to your God from any such animal. They will not be accepted on your behalf, because they are deformed and flawed.’”
26 UDB यहोवा ने मूसा से यह भी कहा, BSB BSB: Then the LORD said to Moses,
27 UDB “बछड़ा या मेम्ना या बकरी का बच्चा जन्म के सात दिन बाद तक माँ के पास रहे इसके बाद वह मेरे लिए होम-बलि के लिए लाया जा सकता है। BSB BSB: “When an ox, a sheep, or a goat is born, it must remain with its mother for seven days. From the eighth day on, it will be acceptable as a food offering presented to the LORD.
28 UDB गाय या भेड़ को उसके नवजात बच्चे के साथ एक ही दिन बलि मत चढ़ाना। BSB BSB: But you must not slaughter an ox or a sheep on the same day as its young.
29 UDB मेरे उपकार के आभार में जब तुम धन्यवाद की बलि चढ़ाओ तो उसमें तुम्हारी विधि मेरी आज्ञा के अनुसार हो। BSB BSB: When you sacrifice a thank offering to the LORD, offer it so that it may be acceptable on your behalf.
30 UDB उसका माँस उसी दिन खा लेना। उसे अगले दिन सुबह के लिए भी मत रखना। मैं यहोवा ही यह आज्ञा देता हूँ। BSB BSB: It must be eaten that same day. Do not leave any of it until morning. I am the LORD.
31 UDB मेरी सब आज्ञाओं का पालन करना। मैं यहोवा ही इन आज्ञाओं को देने वाला हूँ। BSB BSB: You are to keep My commandments and practice them. I am the LORD.
32 UDB मेरी अवज्ञां करके मेरा अपमान नहीं करना। तुम इस्राएलियों को स्वीकार करना है कि मैं यहोवा पवित्र हूँ और मैं ही तुम्हें पवित्र करता हूँ। BSB BSB: You must not profane My holy name. I must be acknowledged as holy among the Israelites. I am the LORD who sanctifies you,
33 UDB मैं ही तुम्हें मिस्र देश से निकाल कर लाया हूँ कि मैं यहोवा तुम्हारा परमेश्वर ठहरूँ। BSB BSB: who brought you out of the land of Egypt to be your God. I am the LORD.”
