1 ULB हे परमेश्वर, राजा को अपना नियम बता, राजपुत्र को अपनी धार्मिकता सिखला! BSB BSB: Of Solomon. Endow the king with Your justice, O God, and the son of the king with Your righteousness.
2 ULB वह तेरी प्रजा का न्याय धार्मिकता से, और तेरे दीन लोगों का न्याय ठीक-ठीक चुकाएगा। (मत्ती25:31-34, प्रेरि. 17:31, रोम. 14:10, 2 कुरि. 5:10) BSB BSB: May he judge Your people with righteousness and Your afflicted with justice.
3 ULB पहाड़ों और पहाड़ियों से प्रजा के लिये, धार्मिकता के द्वारा शान्ति मिला करेगी BSB BSB: May the mountains bring peace to the people, and the hills bring righteousness.
4 ULB वह प्रजा के दीन लोगों का न्याय करेगा, और दरिद्र लोगों को बचाएगा; और अत्याचार करनेवालों को चूर करेगा*। (यह. 11:4) BSB BSB: May he vindicate the afflicted among the people; may he save the children of the needy and crush the oppressor.
5 ULB जब तक सूर्य और चन्द्रमा बने रहेंगे तब तक लोग पीढ़ी-पीढ़ी तेरा भय मानते रहेंगे। BSB BSB: May they fear him as long as the sun shines, as long as the moon remains, through all generations.
6 ULB वह घास की खूँटी पर बरसने वाले मेंह, और भूमि सींचने वाली झड़ियों के समान होगा। BSB BSB: May he be like rain that falls on freshly cut grass, like spring showers that water the earth.
7 ULB उसके दिनों में धर्मी फूले फलेंगे, और जब तक चन्द्रमा बना रहेगा, तब तक शान्ति बहुत रहेगी। BSB BSB: May the righteous flourish in his days and prosperity abound until the moon is no more.
8 ULB वह समुद्र से समुद्र तक और महानद से पृथ्वी की छोर तक प्रभुता करेगा। BSB BSB: May he rule from sea to sea, and from the Euphrates to the ends of the earth.
9 ULB उसके सामने जंगल के रहनेवाले घुटने टेकेंगे, और उसके शत्रु मिट्टी चाटेंगे। BSB BSB: May the nomads bow before him, and his enemies lick the dust.
10 ULB तर्शीश और द्वीप-द्वीप के राजा भेंट ले आएँगे, शेबा और सबा दोनों के राजा उपहार पहुँचाएगे। BSB BSB: May the kings of Tarshish and distant shores bring tribute; may the kings of Sheba and Seba offer gifts.
11 ULB सब राजा उसको दण्डवत् करेंगे, जाति-जाति के लोग उसके अधीन हो जाएँगे। (प्रका. 21:26, मत्ती 2:11) BSB BSB: May all kings bow down to him and all nations serve him.
12 ULB क्योंकि वह दुहाई देनेवाले दरिद्र का, और दुःखी और असहाय मनुष्य का उद्धार करेगा। BSB BSB: For he will deliver the needy who cry out and the afflicted who have no helper.
13 ULB वह कंगाल और दरिद्र पर तरस खाएगा, और दरिद्रों के प्राणों को बचाएगा। BSB BSB: He will take pity on the poor and needy and save the lives of the oppressed.
14 ULB वह उनके प्राणों को अत्याचार और उपद्रव से छुड़ा लेगा; और उनका लहू उसकी दृष्टि में अनमोल ठहरेगा*। (तीतु. 2:14) BSB BSB: He will redeem them from oppression and violence, for their blood is precious in his sight.
15 ULB वह तो जीवित रहेगा और शेबा के सोने में से उसको दिया जाएगा। लोग उसके लिये नित्य प्रार्थना करेंगे; और दिन भर उसको धन्य कहते रहेंगे। BSB BSB: Long may he live! May gold from Sheba be given him. May people ever pray for him; may they bless him all day long.
16 ULB देश में पहाड़ों की चोटियों पर बहुत सा अन्न होगा; जिसकी बालें लबानोन के देवदारों के समान झूमेंगी; और नगर के लोग घास के समान लहलहाएँगे। BSB BSB: May there be an abundance of grain in the land; may it sway atop the hills. May its fruit trees flourish like the forests of Lebanon, the people of its cities like the grass of the field.
17 ULB उसका नाम सदा सर्वदा बना रहेगा; जब तक सूर्य बना रहेगा, तब तक उसका नाम नित्य नया होता रहेगा, और लोग अपने को उसके कारण धन्य गिनेंगे, सारी जातियाँ उसको धन्य कहेंगी। BSB BSB: May his name endure forever; may his name continue as long as the sun shines. In him may all nations be blessed; may they call him blessed.
18 ULB धन्य है यहोवा परमेश्वर, जो इस्राएल का परमेश्वर है; आश्चर्यकर्म केवल वही करता है। (भज. 136:4) BSB BSB: Blessed be the LORD God, the God of Israel, who alone does marvelous deeds.
19 ULB उसका महिमायुक्त नाम सर्वदा धन्य रहेगा; और सारी पृथ्वी उसकी महिमा से परिपूर्ण होगी। आमीन फिर आमीन। BSB BSB: And blessed be His glorious name forever; may all the earth be filled with His glory. Amen and amen.
