2. 2HNEओमन सुरू ले ये घटनामन ला अपन आंखी ले देखे रिहिन अऊ ओमन परमेसर के बचन के सेवक रिहिन। ओमन ये घटनामन ला लिखके हमन ला सऊंप दीन।BSBBSB: just as they were handed down to us by the initial eyewitnesses and servants of the word.
3. 3HNEएकरसेति, मेंह खुद सुरू ले हर एक बात ला धियान से जांच परताल करेंव अऊ मोला भी ये बने लगिस कि मेंह सिलसिलेबार ये बातमन ला तोर बर लिखंव,BSBBSB: Therefore, having carefully investigated everything from the beginning, it seemed good also to me to write an orderly account for you, most excellent Theophilus,
4. 4HNEताकि तेंह ओ बातमन के सच्चई ला जान सकस, जेकर सिकछा तोला मिले हवय।BSBBSB: so that you may know the certainty of the things you have been taught.
5. 5HNEयहूदिया प्रदेस के राजा हेरोदेस के समय म एक पुरोहित रिहिस, जेकर नांव जकरयाह रिहिस; ओह अबियाह के पुरोहिती दल के रिहिस; ओकर घरवाली घलो हारून के बंस के रिहिस जेकर नांव इलीसिबा रिहिस।BSBBSB: In the time of Herod king of Judea there was a priest named Zechariah, who belonged to the priestly division of Abijah, and whose wife Elizabeth was a descendant of Aaron.
6. 6HNEओ दूनों झन परमेसर के नजर म धरमी रिहिन, अऊ ओमन परभू के जम्मो हुकूम अऊ नियममन ला साफ मन ले मानत रिहिन।BSBBSB: Both of them were righteous in the sight of God, walking blamelessly in all the commandments and decrees of the Lord.
7. 7HNEपर ओ समय ओमन के कोनो लइका नइं रिहिस, काबरकि इलीसिबा ह बांझ रिहिस अऊ ओ दूनों डोकरा-डोकरी हो गे रिहिन।BSBBSB: But they had no children, because Elizabeth was barren, and they were both well along in years.
8. 8HNEएक बार जब जकरयाह ह अपन दल के पारी म परमेसर के आघू म पुरोहित के रूप म सेवा करत रिहिस।BSBBSB: One day while Zechariah’s division was on duty and he was serving as priest before God,
9. 9HNEतब पुरोहितमन के रीति के मुताबिक चिट्ठी निकाले गीस अऊ चिट्ठी ह ओकर नांव म निकलिस कि ओह परभू के मंदिर म जाके धूप जलावय।BSBBSB: he was chosen by lot, according to the custom of the priesthood, to enter the temple of the Lord and burn incense.
10. 10HNEअऊ धूप जलाय के समय म, मनखेमन के जम्मो भीड़ ह बाहिर म पराथना करत रहय।BSBBSB: And at the hour of the incense offering, the whole congregation was praying outside.
11. 11HNEतब उहां परभू के एक स्वरगदूत ह ओकर करा परगट होईस अऊ ओ स्वरगदूत ह धूप के बेदी के जेवनी कोति ठाढ़े रहय।BSBBSB: Just then an angel of the Lord appeared to Zechariah, standing at the right side of the altar of incense.
12. 12HNEजकरयाह ह ओला देखके घबरा गीस अऊ ओह डरा गीस।BSBBSB: When Zechariah saw him, he was startled and gripped with fear.
13. 13HNEपर स्वरगदूत ह ओला कहिस, “हे जकरयाह, झन डर! तोर पराथना ह सुने गे हवय। तोर घरवाली इलीसिबा तोर बर एक बेटा जनमही, अऊ तें ओकर नांव यूहन्ना रखबे।BSBBSB: But the angel said to him, “Do not be afraid, Zechariah, because your prayer has been heard. Your wife Elizabeth will bear you a son, and you are to give him the name John.
14. 14HNEअऊ तोला आनंद अऊ खुसी होही, अऊ बहुंत झन ओकर जनम के खातिर आनंद मनाहीं,BSBBSB: He will be a joy and delight to you, and many will rejoice at his birth,
15. 15HNEकाबरकि ओह परभू के नजर म एक महान मनखे होही। ओह अंगूर के मंद या आने किसम के मंद कभू नइं पीही, अऊ ओह अपन दाई के पेट ले ही पबितर आतमा ले भरे होही।BSBBSB: for he will be great in the sight of the Lord. He shall never take wine or strong drink, and he will be filled with the Holy Spirit even from his mother’s womb.
16. 16HNEइसरायली मनखेमन ले बहुंते झन ला, ओह परभू ओमन के परमेसर करा लहुंटाके लानही।BSBBSB: Many of the sons of Israel he will turn back to the Lord their God.
17. 17HNEअऊ ओह अगमजानी एलियाह के आतमा अऊ सामर्थ म, परभू के आघू-आघू चलही ताकि ओह ददामन के हिरदय ला ओमन के लइकामन कोति करय अऊ हुकूम नइं मनइयामन ला धरमी जन के बुद्धि कोति करय, अऊ ये किसम ले ओह परभू खातिर काबिल मनखेमन ला तियार करय।”BSBBSB: And he will go on before the Lord in the spirit and power of Elijah, to turn the hearts of the fathers to their children and the disobedient to the wisdom of the righteous—to make ready a people prepared for the Lord.”
18. 18HNEजकरयाह ह स्वरगदूत ले पुछिस, “मेंह येला कइसने मान लेवंव? काबरकि मेंह एक डोकरा मनखे अंव अऊ मोर घरवाली ह घलो डोकरी हो गे हवय।”BSBBSB: “How can I be sure of this?” Zechariah asked the angel. “I am an old man, and my wife is well along in years.”
19. 19HNEस्वरगदूत ह ओला जबाब दीस, “मेंह जिब्राएल अंव, अऊ मेंह परमेसर के आघू म ठाढ़े रहिथंव। मोला एकर बर पठोय गे हवय कि मेंह तोर ले गोठियावंव अऊ तोला ये सुघर संदेस सुनावंव।BSBBSB: “I am Gabriel,” replied the angel. “I stand in the presence of God, and I have been sent to speak to you and to bring you this good news.
20. 20HNEदेख! जब तक ये बात पूरा नइं हो जाही, तब तक तेंह कोंदा रहिबे, अऊ गोठियाय नइं सकबे; काबरकि तेंह मोर बात ला बिसवास नइं करे, जऊन ह अपन सही समय म पूरा होही।”BSBBSB: And now you will be silent and unable to speak until the day this comes to pass, because you did not believe my words, which will be fulfilled at their proper time.”
21. 21HNEबाहिर मनखेमन जकरयाह के बाट जोहत रहंय अऊ अचम्भो करत रहंय कि ओह काबर अतेक बेर तक मंदिर म रूके हवय।BSBBSB: Meanwhile, the people were waiting for Zechariah and wondering why he took so long in the temple.
22. 22HNEजब ओह बाहिर आईस, त ओमन ले गोठियाय नइं सकिस। तब ओमन समझ गीन कि ओह मंदिर म कोनो दरसन देखे होही, काबरकि ओह ओमन ला इसारा करत रहय, पर गोठियाय नइं सकय।BSBBSB: When he came out and was unable to speak to them, they realized he had seen a vision in the temple. He kept making signs to them but remained unable to speak.
23. 23HNEजब ओकर सेवा के समय ह पूरा हो गीस, त ओह अपन घर वापिस चल दीस।BSBBSB: And when the days of his service were complete, he returned home.
24. 24HNEएकर बाद ओकर घरवाली इलीसिबा ह देहें म होईस, अऊ ओह पांच महिना तक अपनआप ला मनखेमन ले छुपाय रखिस।BSBBSB: After these days, his wife Elizabeth became pregnant and for five months remained in seclusion. She declared,
25. 25HNEओह कहिस, “परभू ह मोर बर ये करे हवय। ये दिन म, ओह अपन दया देखाके मनखेमन के बीच ले मोर कलंक ला दूर करे हवय।”BSBBSB: “The Lord has done this for me. In these days He has shown me favor and taken away my disgrace among the people.”
26. 26HNEइलीसिबा के देहें म रहे के छठवां महिना म, परमेसर ह जिब्राएल स्वरगदूत ला गलील प्रदेस के नासरत नांव के नगर म एक कुंवारी छोकरी करा पठोईस।BSBBSB: In the sixth month, God sent the angel Gabriel to a town in Galilee called Nazareth,
27. 27HNEओ छोकरी के मंगनी यूसुफ नांव के एक मनखे संग होय रिहिस, जऊन ह दाऊद राजा के बंस के रिहिस। ओ कुंवारी के नांव मरियम रिहिस।BSBBSB: to a virgin pledged in marriage to a man named Joseph, who was of the house of David. And the virgin’s name was Mary.
28. 28HNEस्वरगदूत ह ओकर करा आके ओला कहिस, “जोहार लागी! तोर ऊपर बहुंत किरपा होय हवय। परभू ह तोर संग हवय।”BSBBSB: The angel appeared to her and said, “Greetings, you who are highly favored! The Lord is with you.”
29. 29HNEमरियम ह स्वरगदूत के बात ले बहुंत घबरा गीस अऊ सोचे लगिस कि ओकर जोहार के का मतलब हो सकथे।BSBBSB: Mary was greatly troubled at his words and wondered what kind of greeting this might be.
30. 30HNEपर स्वरगदूत ह ओला कहिस, “हे मरियम, झन डर! काबरकि परमेसर के दया तोर ऊपर होय हवय।BSBBSB: So the angel told her, “Do not be afraid, Mary, for you have found favor with God.
31. 31HNEदेख, तेंह देहें म होबे अऊ एक बेटा ला जनम देबे, अऊ तेंह ओकर नांव यीसू रखबे।BSBBSB: Behold, you will conceive and give birth to a son, and you are to give Him the name Jesus.
32. 32HNEओह महान होही अऊ सर्वोच्च परमेसर के बेटा कहाही। परभू परमेसर ह ओला ओकर पुरखा दाऊद राजा के सिंघासन दीही,BSBBSB: He will be great and will be called the Son of the Most High. The Lord God will give Him the throne of His father David,
33. 33HNEअऊ ओह याकूब के बंस ऊपर सदाकाल तक राज करही; ओकर राज के अन्त कभू नइं होही।”BSBBSB: and He will reign over the house of Jacob forever. His kingdom will never end!”
34. 34HNEमरियम ह स्वरगदूत ले पुछिस, “मेंह तो एक कुंवारी छोकरी अंव। येह कइसने हो सकथे?”BSBBSB: “How can this be,” Mary asked the angel, “since I am a virgin?”
35. 35HNEस्वरगदूत ह जबाब दीस, “पबितर आतमा ह तोर ऊपर उतरही, अऊ सर्वोच्च परमेसर के सक्ति ह तोर ऊपर छइहां करही। एकरसेति ओ पबितर जन जऊन ह जनमही, ओह परमेसर के बेटा कहाही।BSBBSB: The angel replied, “The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you. So the Holy One to be born will be called the Son of God.
36. 36HNEअऊ त अऊ तोर रिस्तेदार इलीसिबा के ओकर बुढ़त काल म एक लइका होवइया हवय, ओला ठड़गी कहे जावत रिहिस; छठवां महिना हो गे, ओह देहें म हवय।BSBBSB: Look, even Elizabeth your relative has conceived a son in her old age, and she who was called barren is in her sixth month.
37. 37HNEकाबरकि परमेसर के कहे कोनो बात असफल नइं होवय।”BSBBSB: For no word from God will ever fail.”
38. 38HNEमरियम ह कहिस, “देख, मेंह परभू के दासी अंव। तोर कहे बात के मुताबिक होवय।” तब स्वरगदूत ह ओकर करा ले चले गीस।BSBBSB: “I am the Lord’s servant,” Mary answered. “May it happen to me according to your word.” Then the angel left her.
39. 39HNEकुछू समय के बाद, मरियम ह तियार होईस अऊ जल्दी-जल्दी यहूदा प्रदेस के पहाड़ी इलाका के एक नगर म गीस,BSBBSB: In those days Mary got ready and hurried to a town in the hill country of Judah,
40. 40HNEअऊ ओह उहां जकरयाह के घर म जाके इलीसिबा ला जोहार करिस।BSBBSB: where she entered the home of Zechariah and greeted Elizabeth.
41. 41HNEजब इलीसिबा ह मरियम के जोहार ला सुनिस, त लइका ह ओकर पेट म उछल पड़िस, अऊ इलीसिबा ह पबितर आतमा ले भर गीस,BSBBSB: When Elizabeth heard Mary’s greeting, the baby leaped in her womb, and Elizabeth was filled with the Holy Spirit.
42. 42HNEअऊ ओह चिचियाके कहिस, “माईलोगन म तेंह धइन अस, अऊ तोर पेट के लइका ह धइन ए!BSBBSB: In a loud voice she exclaimed, “Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb!
43. 43HNEपर अतेक जादा किरपा मोर ऊपर काबर होईस कि मोर परभू के दाई ह मोर करा आईस?BSBBSB: And why am I so honored, that the mother of my Lord should come to me?
44. 44HNEजइसने मेंह तोर जोहार के सबद ला सुनेंव, लइका ह मोर पेट म आनंद के मारे उछल पड़िस।BSBBSB: For as soon as the sound of your greeting reached my ears, the baby in my womb leaped for joy.
45. 45HNEधइन अस तेंह, काबरकि तेंह बिसवास करय कि जऊन कुछू परभू ह तोला कहे हवय, ओह पूरा होही।”BSBBSB: Blessed is she who has believed that the Lord’s word to her will be fulfilled.”
46. 46HNEतब मरियम ह कहिस: “मोर मन ह परभू के बड़ई करत हवय;BSBBSB: Then Mary said: “My soul magnifies the Lord,
47. 47HNEअऊ मोर आतमा ह मोर उद्धार करइया परमेसर म आनंद मनावत हवय,BSBBSB: and my spirit rejoices in God my Savior!
48. 48HNEकाबरकि ओह अपन दासी के दीन-हीन दसा ऊपर धियान दे हवय। अब ले जम्मो पीढ़ी के मनखेमन मोला धइन कहिहीं,BSBBSB: For He has looked with favor on the humble state of His servant. From now on all generations will call me blessed.
49. 49HNEकाबरकि सामर्थी परमेसर ह मोर बर बड़े-बड़े काम करे हवय— ओकर नांव पबितर ए।BSBBSB: For the Mighty One has done great things for me. Holy is His name.
50. 50HNEओकर दया ओमन ऊपर, जऊन मन ओकर भय मानथें, पीढ़ी-पीढ़ी तक बने रहिथे।BSBBSB: His mercy extends to those who fear Him, from generation to generation.
51. 51HNEओह अपन हांथ ले बड़े-बड़े काम करे हवय; ओह अभिमानीमन ला तितिर-बितिर कर दे हवय, जऊन मन अपन मन म घमंड करथें।BSBBSB: He has performed mighty deeds with His arm; He has scattered those who are proud in the thoughts of their hearts.
52. 52HNEओह सक्तिसाली राजामन ला ओमन के सिंघासन ले उतार दे हवय, पर दीन-हीन मन ला ऊपर उठाय हवय।BSBBSB: He has brought down rulers from their thrones, but has exalted the humble.
53. 53HNEओह भूखहा मनखेमन ला सुघर चीज ले भर दे हवय, पर धनवानमन ला जुच्छा हांथ निकाल दे हवय।BSBBSB: He has filled the hungry with good things, but has sent the rich away empty.
54. 54HNEअपन दया ला सुरता करके, ओह अपन सेवक इसरायल के मदद करे हवय,BSBBSB: He has helped His servant Israel, remembering to be merciful,
55. 55HNEजइसने ओह हमर पुरखामन ले कहे रिहिस कि ओह अब्राहम अऊ ओकर बंस ऊपर सदाकाल तक दया करही।”BSBBSB: as He promised to our fathers, to Abraham and his descendants forever.”
56. 56HNEमरियम ह इलीसिबा के संग करीब तीन महिना रिहिस अऊ तब अपन घर वापिस चल दीस।BSBBSB: Mary stayed with Elizabeth for about three months and then returned home.
57. 57HNEइलीसिबा के लइका जनमे के समय होईस अऊ ओह एक बेटा ला जनम दीस।BSBBSB: When the time came for Elizabeth to have her child, she gave birth to a son.
58. 58HNEजब ओकर परोसी अऊ रिस्तेदारमन सुनिन कि परभू ह ओकर ऊपर बड़े दया करे हवय, त ओमन ओकर संग आनंद मनाईन।BSBBSB: Her neighbors and relatives heard that the Lord had shown her great mercy, and they rejoiced with her.
59. 59HNEआठवां दिन म, ओमन लइका के खतना करे बर आईन अऊ ओमन ओकर नांव ओकर ददा के नांव जकरयाह रखे बर चाहत रिहिन,BSBBSB: On the eighth day, when they came to circumcise the child, they were going to name him after his father Zechariah.
60. 60HNEपर ओकर दाई ह कहिस, “नइं! ओकर नांव यूहन्ना होही।”BSBBSB: But his mother replied, “No! He shall be called John.”
61. 61HNEओमन ओला कहिन, “पर तोर रिस्तेदारमन म काकरो ये नांव नइं ए।”BSBBSB: They said to her, “There is no one among your relatives who bears this name.”
62. 62HNEतब ओमन लइका के ददा ले इसारा करके पुछिन कि ओह लइका के का नांव रखे चाहथे।BSBBSB: So they made signs to his father to find out what he wanted to name the child.
63. 63HNEओह लिखे के एक पटिया लाने बर कहिस अऊ ओमा लिखिस, “एकर नांव यूहन्ना ए।” येला देखके ओ जम्मो झन अचम्भो करिन।BSBBSB: Zechariah asked for a tablet and wrote, “His name is John.” And they were all amazed.
64. 64HNEअऊ तुरते जकरयाह के मुहूं ह खुल गे अऊ ओह गोठियाय अऊ परमेसर के इस्तुति करे लगिस।BSBBSB: Immediately Zechariah’s mouth was opened and his tongue was released, and he began to speak, praising God.
65. 65HNEजम्मो पड़ोसीमन ऊपर डर हमा गे अऊ ये जम्मो बात यहूदिया प्रदेस के जम्मो पहाड़ी इलाका म फईल गीस।BSBBSB: All their neighbors were filled with awe, and people throughout the hill country of Judea were talking about these events.
66. 66HNEअऊ ये बात के जम्मो सुनइयामन अपन-अपन मन म सोचिन अऊ कहिन, “ये लइका ह का बनही?” काबरकि परभू के हांथ ओकर संग रहय।BSBBSB: And all who heard this wondered in their hearts and asked, “What then will this child become?” For the Lord’s hand was with him.
67. 67HNEयूहन्ना के ददा जकरयाह ह पबितर आतमा ले भर गीस अऊ ये कहिके अगमबानी करिस:BSBBSB: Then his father Zechariah was filled with the Holy Spirit and prophesied:
68. 68HNE“परभू, इसरायल के परमेसर के इस्तुति होवय, काबरकि ओह आय हवय अऊ अपन मनखेमन के छुटकारा करे हवय।BSBBSB: “Blessed be the Lord, the God of Israel, because He has visited and redeemed His people.
69. 69HNEओह अपन सेवक दाऊद के बंस म हमर बर एक सामर्थी उद्धार करइया दे हवय,BSBBSB: He has raised up a horn of salvation for us in the house of His servant David,
70. 70HNE(जइसने ओह अपन पबितर अगमजानीमन के दुवारा बहुंत पहिली ले कहत आय हवय),BSBBSB: as He spoke through His holy prophets, those of ages past,
71. 71HNEकि ओह हमर बईरीमन ले अऊ जऊन मन हमन ले घिन करथें, ओमन ले हमन ला बचाही।BSBBSB: salvation from our enemies and from the hand of all who hate us,
72. 72HNEओह हमर पुरखामन ऊपर दया करही अऊ अपन पबितर करार ला सुरता करही।BSBBSB: to show mercy to our fathers and to remember His holy covenant,
73. 73HNEओह किरिया खाके हमर पुरखा अब्राहम ले कहे रिहिस:BSBBSB: the oath He swore to our father Abraham, to grant us
74. 74HNEओह हमन ला हमर बईरीमन के हांथ ले बचाही, ताकि हमन निडर होकेBSBBSB: deliverance from hostile hands, that we may serve Him without fear,
75. 75HNEजिनगी भर पबितर अऊ धरमी बनके ओकर आघू म ओकर सेवा कर सकन।BSBBSB: in holiness and righteousness before Him all the days of our lives.
76. 76HNE“अऊ ए मोर लइका! तेंह सर्वोच्च परमेसर के अगमजानी कहाबे; काबरकि तेंह परभू के रसता तियार करे बर ओकर आघू-आघू जाबे,BSBBSB: And you, child, will be called a prophet of the Most High; for you will go on before the Lord to prepare the way for Him,
77. 77HNEअऊ ओकर मनखेमन ला तेंह बताबे कि ओमन के पाप छेमा होय के दुवारा ओमन के उद्धार होही।BSBBSB: to give to His people the knowledge of salvation through the forgiveness of their sins,
78. 78HNEयेह हमर परमेसर के बड़े दया के कारन होही, जब स्वरग ले बिहनियां के अंजोर हमर करा आही,BSBBSB: because of the tender mercy of our God, by which the Dawn will visit us from on high,
79. 79HNEअऊ ओमन ऊपर चमकही जऊन मन अंधियार अऊ मिरतू के छइहां म रहत हवंय, अऊ हमर गोड़ ला सांति के रसता म ले चलही।”BSBBSB: to shine on those who live in darkness and in the shadow of death, to guide our feet into the path of peace.”
80. 80HNEअऊ ओ लइका ह बाढ़त अऊ आतमा म मजबूत होवत गीस अऊ ओह तब तक निरजन ठऊर म रिहिस, जब तक ओह इसरायली मनखेमन के आघू म खुलेआम नइं आईस।BSBBSB: And the child grew and became strong in spirit; and he lived in the wilderness until the time of his public appearance to Israel.
