1एक बार जम्मो लगान लेवइया अऊ पापी मनखेमन यीसू करा जूरत रिहिन कि ओमन ओकर बात ला सुनंय।Now all the tax collectors and sinners were gathering around to listen to Jesus.

2पर फरीसी अऊ कानून के गुरूमन ये कहिके कुड़कुड़ाय लगिन, “ये मनखे ह पापीमन के सुवागत करथे अऊ ओमन के संग खाथे।”So the Pharisees and scribes began to grumble: “This man welcomes sinners and eats with them.”

3एकरसेति यीसू ह ओमन ला ये पटंतर कहिस,Then Jesus told them this parable:

4“मान लव, तुमन ले एक झन करा सौ ठन भेड़ हवंय अऊ ओमा के एक ठन गंवा जाथे, त का ओह निनानबे भेड़मन ला मैदान म छोंड़के ओ गंवाय भेड़ ला तब तक नइं खोजही, जब तक कि ओह मिल नइं जावय?“What man among you, if he has a hundred sheep and loses one of them, does not leave the ninety-nine in the pasture and go after the one that is lost, until he finds it?

5अऊ जब भेड़ ह ओला मिल जाथे, त ओह ओला खुसी के मारे अपन कंधा म उठा लेथे,And when he finds it, he joyfully puts it on his shoulders,

6अऊ अपन घर जाथे। अऊ तब ओह अपन संगवारी अऊ परोसीमन ला एक संग बलाथे अऊ कहिथे, ‘मोर संग आनंद मनावव, काबरकि मोर गंवाय भेड़ ह मोला मिल गे हवय।’comes home, and calls together his friends and neighbors to tell them, ‘Rejoice with me, for I have found my lost sheep!’

7मेंह तुमन ला कहत हंव कि ओही किसम ले एक पापी मनखे के पछताप करे ले स्वरग म बहुंत आनंद मनाय जाथे, जतेक कि निनानबे धरमी मनखेमन बर नइं मनाय जावय, जऊन मन ला पछताप करे के जरूरत नइं ए।I tell you that in the same way there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous ones who do not need to repent.

8“या मान लव, एक माईलोगन करा दस ठन चांदी के सिक्का हवय अऊ ओमा ले एक ठन गंवा जाथे, त का ओह दीया बारके घर ला नइं बहारे अऊ मन लगाके खोजय, जब तक कि ओह मिल न जावय।Or what woman who has ten silver coins and loses one of them does not light a lamp, sweep her house, and search carefully until she finds it?

9अऊ जब ओला सिक्का ह मिल जाथे, त ओह अपन संगवारी अऊ परोसीमन ला बलाथे अऊ कहिथे, ‘मोर संग आनंद मनावव, काबरकि मोर गंवाय सिक्का ह मोला मिल गे हवय।’And when she finds it, she calls together her friends and neighbors to say, ‘Rejoice with me, for I have found my lost coin.’

10मेंह तुमन ला कहत हंव कि ओही किसम ले, जब एक पापी मनखे पछताप करथे, त उहां स्वरग म परमेसर के स्वरगदूतमन के आघू म आनंद मनाय जाथे।”In the same way, I tell you, there is joy in the presence of God’s angels over one sinner who repents.”

11यीसू ह ये घलो कहिस, “एक मनखे के दू झन बेटा रिहिन।Then Jesus said, “There was a man who had two sons.

12छोटे बेटा ह अपन ददा ला कहिस, ‘ददा! मोर बांटा के संपत्ति मोला देय दे।’ अऊ ओ मनखे ह अपन दूनों बेटा के बीच म संपत्ति के बंटवारा कर दीस।The younger son said to him, ‘Father, give me my share of the estate.’ So he divided his property between them.

13“कुछू दिन के बाद, छोटे बेटा ह अपन बांटा के जम्मो संपत्ति ला संकेलके एक दूरिहा के देस म चल दीस अऊ उहां ओह फालतू काम म जिनगी बितात अपन संपत्ति ला उड़ा दीस।After a few days, the younger son got everything together and journeyed to a distant country, where he squandered his wealth in wild living.

14जब ओह जम्मो ला खरचा कर डारिस, त उहां ओ जम्मो देस म एक भयंकर दुकाल पड़िस, अऊ ओकर करा कुछू नइं बचिस।After he had spent all he had, a severe famine swept through that country, and he began to be in need.

15एकरसेति ओह ओ देस के रहइया एक मनखे करा काम करे बर गीस, जऊन ह ओला अपन खेत म, सुरामन ला चराय बर पठोईस।So he went and hired himself out to a citizen of that country, who sent him into his fields to feed the pigs.

16ओकर ईछा होवय कि ओह ओ फली ले अपन पेट भरय, जऊन ला सुरामन खावत रहंय, पर कोनो ओला खाय बर कुछू नइं देवंय।He longed to fill his belly with the pods the pigs were eating, but no one would give him a thing.

17“जब ओह अपन होस म आईस, त कहन लगिस, ‘मोर ददा के घर म कतेक बनी-भूती करइयामन करा जरूरत ले जादा खाय बर हवय, अऊ इहां मेंह भूखन मरत हंव।Finally he came to his senses and said, ‘How many of my father’s hired servants have plenty of food, but here I am, starving to death!

18मेंह उठके अपन ददा करा वापिस जाहूं अऊ ओला ये कहिहूं: हे ददा, मेंह स्वरग के परमेसर के बिरोध अऊ तोर बिरोध म पाप करे हवंव।I will get up and go back to my father and say to him, “Father, I have sinned against heaven and against you.

19मेंह तोर बेटा कहाय के लईक नो हंव; मोला अपन एक बनिहार मनखे सहीं रख ले।’I am no longer worthy to be called your son. Make me like one of your hired servants.”’

20अऊ ओह उठिस अऊ अपन ददा करा जाय बर निकलिस। “पर जब ओह अभी दूरिहाच म ही रिहिस, त ओकर ददा ह ओला देख डारिस, अऊ ओकर हिरदय ह दया ले भर गे। ओह अपन बेटा करा दऊड़के गीस अऊ ओला अपन बाहां म पोटारके चूमिस।So he got up and went to his father. But while he was still in the distance, his father saw him and was filled with compassion. He ran to his son, embraced him, and kissed him.

21“बेटा ह ओला कहिस, ‘हे ददा, मेंह स्वरग के परमेसर के बिरोध अऊ तोर बिरोध म पाप करे हवंव। मेंह तोर बेटा कहाय के लईक नो हंव।’The son declared, ‘Father, I have sinned against heaven and against you. I am no longer worthy to be called your son.’

22“पर ददा ह अपन सेवकमन ला कहिस, ‘जल्दी करव। सबले बढ़िया ओनहा लानव अऊ येला पहिरावव। एकर अंगरी म मुंदरी अऊ एकर गोड़ म पनही पहिरावव।But the father said to his servants, ‘Quick! Bring the best robe and put it on him. Put a ring on his finger and sandals on his feet.

23मोटा-ताजा बछवा लानके काटव, ताकि हमन खावन अऊ खुसी मनावन।Bring the fattened calf and kill it. Let us feast and celebrate.

24काबरकि मोर ये बेटा ह मर गे रिहिस, पर अब जी गे हवय; येह गंवा गे रिहिस, पर अब मिल गे हवय।’ अऊ ओमन खुसी मनाय लगिन।For this son of mine was dead and is alive again! He was lost and is found!’ So they began to celebrate.

25“ओ बेरा म, ओकर बड़े बेटा ह खेत म रिहिस। जब ओह उहां ले घर के लकठा म आईस, त ओह गाय-बजाय अऊ नाचे के अवाज सुनिस।Meanwhile the older son was in the field, and as he approached the house, he heard music and dancing.

26ओह एक सेवक ला बलाईस अऊ ओकर ले पुछिस, ‘का होवत हवय?’So he called one of the servants and asked what was going on.

27ओ सेवक ह कहिस, ‘तोर भाई ह आय हवय, अऊ तोर ददा ह मोटा-ताजा बछवा कटवाय हवय, काबरकि ओह ओला सही-सलामत पाय हवय।’‘Your brother has returned,’ he said, ‘and your father has killed the fattened calf, because he has him back safe and sound.’

28“येला सुनके बड़े भाई ह गुस्सा करिस अऊ घर के भीतर जाय नइं चाहिस। एकरसेति ओकर ददा ह बाहिर आईस अऊ भीतर आय बर ओकर ले बिनती करे लगिस।The older son became angry and refused to go in. So his father came out and pleaded with him.

29पर ओह अपन ददा ला जबाब दीस, ‘देख, अतेक साल तक मेंह तोर गुलाम के सहीं काम करे हवंव अऊ मेंह तोर हुकूम ला कभू नइं टारेंव। तभो ले तेंह मोला एक बोकरा के पीला तक कभू नइं देय कि मेंह अपन संगवारीमन संग आनंद मना सकंव।But he answered his father, ‘Look, all these years I have served you and never disobeyed a commandment of yours. Yet you never gave me even a young goat so I could celebrate with my friends.

30पर जब तोर ये बेटा ह घर आईस, जऊन ह कि तोर संपत्ति ला बेस्यामन संग उड़ा दे हवय, त तेंह ओकर बर मोटा-ताजा बछवा कटवाय हवस!’But when this son of yours returns from squandering your wealth with prostitutes, you kill the fattened calf for him!’

31“तब ददा ह ओला कहिस, ‘हे मोर बेटा! तेंह सदा मोर संग हवस, अऊ जऊन कुछू मोर करा हवय, ओ जम्मो तोर ए।‘Son, you are always with me,’ the father said, ‘and all that is mine is yours.

32पर हमन ला आनंद मनाना अऊ खुस होना चाही, काबरकि तोर ये भाई ह मर गे रिहिस, पर अब जी उठे हवय; येह गंवा गे रिहिस, पर अब मिल गे हवय।’ ”But it was fitting to celebrate and be glad, because this brother of yours was dead and is alive again; he was lost and is found.’”
