1याकूब रा कनान द्याश दा परदेशी आगकु ईरतोगोन, येल आऊन आप्प परदेशी आगकु ईरोन.Now Jacob lived in the land where his father had resided, the land of Canaan.

2अदिक याकूब उन वंश इन वृत्तान्त ईद आद; यूसुफ सतरा वर्ष इन आगकु तान वार्टुर सांगुळ मर्र-म्यांडा आळ्सतोगोन; अदिक आ पार तान आप्प उन हिंग्स बिल्हा, अदिक जिल्पा अन पारगोळ सांगुळ ईरतोगोन; अदिक आदुर्द बुराई इन समाचार तान आप्प उन मुंद पोहचुस तोगोन.This is the account of Jacob. When Joseph was seventeen years old, he was tending the flock with his brothers, the sons of his father’s wives Bilhah and Zilpah, and he brought their father a bad report about them.

3अदिक इस्त्राएल तान सप्पा पारगोळ से येक्कुल प्रेम यूसुफ से ईट तोगोन, यतिकी आव आऊन हाळाबाट्ट पनी नव पार ईरोन: अदिक आव आऊन साटी रंग बिरंगी अंगरखा माळसुसदुन.Now Israel loved Joseph more than his other sons, because Joseph had been born to him in his old age; so he made him a robe of many colors.

5यूसुफ कांसा नोळदुन, अदिक तान वार्टुर से अदुर्द वर्णन माळदुन; आगी टु आंदुर आऊन से अदिक भी दुश्मनी माळली कुरतुर.Then Joseph had a dream, and when he told it to his brothers, they hated him even more.

6आव आंदुर से अंदुन, “जो कांसा ना नोळदीन, अदरी केळीHe said to them, “Listen to this dream I had:

7नाव लॉकुर केई दा पेंडी कटीतेव, अदिक येन नोळतीन कि नान पेंडी येदकु सीधा नीदरेत; आग नीम पेंडी नान पेंडी इक नाकु दी टु घेर्स कोंडव अदिक अदरी नमस्कार माळली कुरतव.”We were binding sheaves of grain in the field, and suddenly my sheaf rose and stood upright, while your sheaves gathered around and bowed down to mine.”

8आग आऊन वार्टुर आऊन से अंदुर, “येन नी सही दा नाम मा राज्य माळ्या? या येन नी सही दा नाम मा प्रभुता माळ्या?” इदुरसाटी आंदुर आऊन कांसा अदिक आऊन मात इन कारण आऊन से अदिक भी येक्कुल दुश्मनी माळली कुरतुर.“Do you intend to reign over us?” his brothers asked. “Will you actually rule us?” So they hated him even more because of his dream and his statements.

9बाक आव अदिक ऊंद कांसा नोळदुन, अदिक तान वार्टुर हाती अदुर्द भी वर्णन माळदुन, “केळी, ना अदिक ऊंद कांसा नोळदिन, कि सुर्य अदिक चन्द्रमा, अदिक हनुन तारागोळ नानी नमस्कार माळीत्याव.”Then Joseph had another dream and told it to his brothers. “Look,” he said, “I had another dream, and this time the sun and moon and eleven stars were bowing down to me.”

10ईद कांसा अन आव तान आप्प अदिक तान वार्टुर से वर्णन माळदुन; आग आऊन आप्प आऊक दनकुसकु अंदुन, “ईद ह्यांग कांसा आद जो नी नोळ्द? येन सही दा ना अदिक नीन मोय अदिक नीन वार्टुर सप्पा मुंदुर होगकु नीन मुंद धरती मा बिदकु नमस्कार माळेव?”He told his father and brothers, but his father rebuked him and said, “What is this dream that you have had? Will your mother and brothers and I actually come and bow down to the ground before you?”

11आऊन वार्टगोळ रा आऊन से सिट्ट माळतोगोर; लेकीन आऊन आप्प आऊन आ मातगोळ इक याद ईटदुन.And his brothers were jealous of him, but his father kept in mind what he had said.

12यूसुफ उन वार्टुर तान आप्प उन मर्र-म्यांडागोळी आळसोर साटी शकेम उक होदुर.Some time later, Joseph’s brothers had gone to pasture their father’s flocks near Shechem.

13आग इस्त्राएल यूसुफ से अंदुन, “नीन वार्टुर रा शकेम दा का मर्र म्यांडा आळ्सतीदार, इदुरसाटी होग, ना नीनी आंदुर हाती कळुतीन.” आव आऊन से अंदुन, “ठीक आद ना तैयार आईन.”Israel said to him, “Are not your brothers pasturing the flocks at Shechem? 14इस्त्राएल आऊन से अंदुन, “होग, तान वार्टगोळ अदिक मर्र म्यांडागोळ्द हाल नोळकु बा कि आंदुर ठीक रा आर, बाक नान हाती समाचार तर.” अत: आव आऊक हेब्रोन इन तराई दा सार माळ कोंडुन. अदिक आव शकेम दा बंदुन.Then Israel told him, “Go now and see how your brothers and the flocks are faring, and bring word back to me.” So he sent him off from the Valley of Hebron. And when Joseph arrived in Shechem,

15याग यूसुफ ऊंद मैदान दा ईत्त आत्त नोळोन, आग ऊंद मंळसा आऊक सिकदुन, आव आऊन से केळदुन, “येन ढुंढसीत्या नी?”a man found him wandering in the field and asked, “What are you looking for?”

16आव अंदुन “ना रा तान वार्टुरी नोळीतीन कृपा माळकु नानी हेळ कि आंदुर मर्र म्यांडा येल आळसीत्यार?”“I am looking for my brothers,” Joseph replied. “Can you please tell me where they are pasturing their flocks?”

17आ मंळसा अंदुन, “आंदुर रा ईल टु होटोग्यार; अदिक आंदरी ना अनतेला केळदीन, बरी, ‘नाव दोतान इक होगाता.’” इदुरसाटी यूसुफ तान वार्टुर हिंद होदुन, अदिक आंदरी दोतान नगर दा नोळदुन.“They have moved on from here,” the man answered. “I heard them say, ‘Let us go to Dothan.’” So Joseph set out after his brothers and found them at Dothan.

18याग आंदुर आऊक दुर टु बरतेला नोळदुर, रा आऊन हाती बरोर से पयले अच आऊक कोंद बुळोद योजना माळदुर.Now Joseph’s brothers saw him in the distance, and before he arrived, they plotted to kill him.

19अदिक आंदुर आपस दा अनली कुरतुर, “नोळी, आव कांसा नोळावाळा बरेत्यान.“Here comes that dreamer!” they said to one another.

20नळी, नाव आऊक कोंदकु ईल यातोदारा गड्डा दा भीट बुळाता, अदिक नाव अन बुळाता, कि आऊक यातोदारा आळी दाकळोद जनावर तीन बुळ्त बाक नाव नोळाता कि आऊन कांसा अन येन आगतद.”“Come now, let us kill him and throw him into one of the pits. We can say that a vicious animal has devoured him. Then we shall see what becomes of his dreams!”

21लेकीन रूबेन यूसुफ उक ऊळसोद चाहासोन. इदुरसाटी रूबेन अंदुन “नाव यूसुफ उक जान ठाय कोनालेव;When Reuben heard this, he tried to rescue Joseph from their hands. “Let us not take his life,” he said.

22बल्की नाव आऊक यातोदारा गड्डा दा हाक्क बुळाता,” रूबेन हिंग इदुरसाटी माळदुन कि आव यूसुफ उक उळ्सकु तान आप्प उक कोट्ट बुळुल.“Do not shed his blood. Throw him into this pit in the wilderness, but do not lay a hand on him.” Reuben said this so that he could rescue Joseph from their hands and return him to his father.

25ईद माळकु आंदुर ऊमली कुरतुर. आग आंदुर नोळदुर कि इश्माएलीगोळ्द ऊंद दल ऊँटगोळ मा सुगन्ध द्रव्य, बलसान, अदिक गन्धरस मंण्सकु, गिलाद टु मिस्त्र अक होगेत्याद.And as they sat down to eat a meal, they looked up and saw a caravan of Ishmaelites coming from Gilead. Their camels were carrying spices, balm, and myrrh on their way down to Egypt.

26आग यहूदा तान वार्टुर से अंदुन, “तान वार्ट उक कोण्णोद अदिक आऊन खुन होचकोमसुसकु येन लाभ आदीत?Then Judah said to his brothers, “What profit will we gain if we kill our brother and cover up his blood?

27नाव ईऊक ई इश्माएलीगोळी मार्र कोमाता, नाव ईऊक कोनालेव, यतिकी आव नामव वार्ट हुन, नाम तान रक्ता हुन.” वार्टुरी ईद मात वळ्लीद हत्त.Come, let us sell him to the Ishmaelites and not lay a hand on him; for he is our brother, our own flesh.” And they agreed.

28आटा वती येनारा मिद्यानी व्यापारी भी अल टु होट्टुर, आग आंदुर आंदुर्द मदत देल यूसुफ उक गड्डा दा टु व्हार्या तेगदुर अदिक आऊक इश्माएलीगोळी ईप्पत बेळ्ली इन सिक्कागोळ दा मार्र कोंडुर; अदिक आंदुर यूसुफ उक मिस्त्र द्याश दा ओतुर.So when the Midianite traders passed by, his brothers pulled Joseph out of the pit and sold him for twenty shekels of silver to the Ishmaelites, who took him to Egypt.

30अदिक तान वार्टुर हाती बंदकु अनली कुरतुन, “पार रा हैलेच; ईग ना यात होगाईन?”returned to his brothers, and said, “The boy is gone! What am I going to do?”

31आग आंदुर यूसुफ उन कपळा हुळदुर, अदिक ऊंद व्हात इक कोंदकु अदुर रक्ता दा अदरी मुळकुसदुर.Then they took Joseph’s robe, slaughtered a young goat, and dipped the robe in its blood.

32अदिक आंदुर आ रंग बिरंगा अंगरखा अक तान आप्प उन हाती कळुकु ईद संदेश कळुदुर; “ईद नामी सिक्याद, अत: नोळकु अरूकोम कि ईद नीन पार उन अंगरखा हुन का आलच.”They sent the robe of many colors to their father and said, “We found this. Examine it to see whether it is your son’s robe or not.”

33आव अदरी अरू कोंडुन, अदिक अंदुन, “हव ईद नान पार उन कपळा हुन; यातोदारा दुष्ट जनावर आऊक तीन बुळ्त; बिना संदेह यूसुफ तुकळा तुकळा माळकु आग्यान.”His father recognized it and said, “It is my son’s robe! A vicious animal has devoured him. Joseph has surely been torn to pieces!”

34आग याकूब तान कपळा हरदुन अदिक नेळु मा टाट गुंळ्सदुन, अदिक तान पार उन साटी हापाळ दिन ताका वर्लतेला ईत्तुन.Then Jacob tore his clothes, put sackcloth around his waist, and mourned for his son many days.

35अदिक आऊन सप्पा पोर पारगोळ आऊक शांती कोळोद कोशिश माळदुर; लेकीन आऊक शांती सिकीदील; अदिक आव ईदा माळतेला ईत्तुन, “ना वर्लतेला तान पार उन हाती अधोलोक दा ईळदोगाईन.” ई प्रकार आऊन आप्प आऊन साटी वर्लतेला अच ईत्तुन.All his sons and daughters tried to comfort him, but he refused to be comforted. “No,” he said. “I will go down to Sheol mourning for my son.” So his father wept for him.

36ई बीच मिद्यानीगोळ यूसुफ उक मिस्त्र दा ओतकु पोतीपर हेसुर इन फिरौन उन ऊंद हाकिम अदिक अंगरक्षकगोळ प्रधान, उन कय दा मार्र बुट्टुर.Meanwhile, the Midianites sold Joseph in Egypt to Potiphar, an officer of Pharaoh and captain of the guard.
