John 1 1 1 John The word of life; walking in the light Croatian Bible (Šarić) A pastoral letter giving believers assurance: those who walk in the light, love one another and confess Jesus come in the flesh know they have eternal life.
SAR da, Život se očitova, i vidjeli smo i svjedočimo, i navješćujemo vam Život vječni, koji bijaše kod Oca i očitova se nama - BSB BSB: And this is the life that was revealed; we have seen it and testified to it, and we proclaim to you the eternal life that was with the Father and was revealed to us.
SAR što smo vidjeli i čuli, navješćujemo i vama da i vi imate zajedništvo s nama. A naše je zajedništvo s Ocem i sa Sinom njegovim Isusom Kristom. BSB BSB: We proclaim to you what we have seen and heard, so that you also may have fellowship with us. And this fellowship of ours is with the Father and with His Son, Jesus Christ.
SAR I to vam pišemo da radost naša bude potpuna. BSB BSB: We write these things so that our joy may be complete.
SAR A ovo je navještaj koji smo čuli od njega i navješćujemo vama: Bog je svjetlost i tame u njemu nema nikakve! BSB BSB: And this is the message we have heard from Him and announce to you: God is light, and in Him there is no darkness at all.
SAR Reknemo li da imamo zajedništvo s njim, a u tami hodimo, lažemo i ne činimo istine. BSB BSB: If we say we have fellowship with Him yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth.
SAR Ako u svjetlosti hodimo, kao što je on u svjetlosti, imamo zajedništvo jedni s drugima i krv Isusa, Sina njegova, čisti nas od svakoga grijeha. BSB BSB: But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus His Son cleanses us from all sin.
SAR Ako priznamo grijehe svoje, vjeran je on i pravedan: otpustit će nam grijehe i očistiti nas od svake nepravde. BSB BSB: If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
SAR Reknemo li da nismo zgriješili, pravimo ga lašcem i riječi njegove nema u nama. BSB BSB: If we say we have not sinned, we make Him out to be a liar, and His word is not in us.
