2 Timothy 4 (SAR)

1Zaklinjem te pred Bogom i Kristom Isusom, koji će suditi žive i mrtve, zaklinjem te pojavkom njegovim i kraljevstvom njegovim:I charge you in the presence of God and of Christ Jesus, who will judge the living and the dead, and in view of His appearing and His kingdom:

2propovijedaj Riječ, uporan budi - bilo to zgodno ili nezgodno - uvjeravaj, prijeti, zapovijedaj sa svom strpljivošću i poukom.Preach the word; be prepared in season and out of season; reprove, rebuke, and encourage with every form of patient instruction.

3Jer doći će vrijeme kad ljudi neće podnositi zdrava nauka nego će sebi po vlastitim požudama nagomilavati učitelje kako im godi ušima; For the time will come when men will not tolerate sound doctrine, but with itching ears they will gather around themselves teachers to suit their own desires.

4od istine će uho odvraćati, a bajkama se priklanjati. So they will turn their ears away from the truth and turn aside to myths.

5Ti, naprotiv, budi trijezan u svemu, zlopati se, djelo izvrši blagovjesničko, služenje svoje posve ispuni! But you, be sober in all things, endure hardship, do the work of an evangelist, fulfill your ministry.

6Jer ja se već prinosim za žrtvu ljevanicu, prispjelo je vrijeme moga odlaska. For I am already being poured out like a drink offering, and the time of my departure is at hand.

7Dobar sam boj bio, trku završio, vjeru sačuvao.I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.

8Stoga, pripravljen mi je vijenac pravednosti kojim će mi u onaj Dan uzvratiti Gospodin, pravedan sudac; ne samo meni, nego i svima koji s ljubavlju čekaju njegov pojavak. From now on there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day—and not only to me, but to all who crave His appearing.

9Nastoj što prije doći k meni!Make every effort to come to me quickly,

10Jer Dema me, zaljubljen u sadašnji svijet, napustio i otišao u Solun; Krescencije u Galaciju, Tit u Dalmaciju.because Demas, in his love of this world, has deserted me and gone to Thessalonica. Crescens has gone to Galatia, and Titus to Dalmatia.

11Luka je jedini sa mnom. Marka uzmi i dovedi sa sobom jer mi je koristan za služenje.Only Luke is with me. Get Mark and bring him with you, because he is useful to me in the ministry.

12Tihika sam poslao u Efez.Tychicus, however, I have sent to Ephesus.

13Kabanicu koju ostavih u Troadi kod Karpa, kada dođeš, donesi. I knjige, osobito pergamene. When you come, bring the cloak that I left with Carpus at Troas, and my scrolls, especially the parchments.

14Aleksandar kovač nanio mi je mnogo zla. Uzvratio mu Gospodin po njegovim djelima!Alexander the coppersmith did great harm to me. The Lord will repay him according to his deeds.

15Njega se i ti čuvaj jer se veoma usprotivio našim riječima. You too should beware of him, for he has vigorously opposed our message.

16Za prve moje obrane nitko ne bijaše uza me, svi me napustiše. Ne uračunalo im se!At my first defense, no one stood with me, but everyone deserted me. May it not be charged against them.

17Ali Gospodin je stajao uza me, on me krijepio da se po meni potpuno razglasi Poruka te je čuju svi narodi; i izbavljen sam iz usta lavljih. But the Lord stood by me and strengthened me, so that through me the message would be fully proclaimed, and all the Gentiles would hear it. So I was delivered from the mouth of the lion.

18Izbavit će me Gospodin od svakoga zla djela i spasiti za svoje nebesko kraljevstvo. Njemu slava u vijeke vjekova! Amen! And the Lord will rescue me from every evil action and bring me safely into His heavenly kingdom. To Him be the glory forever and ever. Amen.

19Pozdravi Prisku i Akvilu i Oneziforov dom!Greet Prisca and Aquila, as well as the household of Onesiphorus.

20Erast osta u Korintu, a Trofima ostavih u Miletu bolesna.Erastus has remained at Corinth, and Trophimus I left sick in Miletus.

21Nastoj doći prije zime. Pozdravlja te Eubul, Pudencije, Lino, Klaudija i sva braća.Make every effort to come to me before winter. Eubulus sends you greetings, as do Pudens, Linus, Claudia, and all the brothers.

22Gospodin s duhom tvojim. Milost s vama! The Lord be with your spirit. Grace be with you all.
