1. 1SARDođe mi riječ Jahvina:BSBBSB: Again the word of the LORD came to me, saying,
2. 2SAR“Sine čovječji, bile dvije žene, kćeri jedne matere.BSBBSB: “Son of man, there were two women, daughters of the same mother,
3. 3SARI odaše se bludu u Egiptu, blud činiše u mladosti: ondje su im grudi stiskali, djevojačke dojke gnječili.BSBBSB: and they played in Egypt, prostituting themselves from their youth. Their breasts were fondled there, and their virgin bosoms caressed.
4. 4SARStarijoj bijaše ime Ohola, a sestri joj Oholiba. Obje moje postadoše i rodiše mi sinove i kćeri. Evo im imenÄa: Samarija je Ohola, Jeruzalem Oholiba.BSBBSB: The older was named Oholah, and her sister was named Oholibah. They became Mine and gave birth to sons and daughters. As for their identities, Oholah is Samaria, and Oholibah is Jerusalem.
5. 5SAROhola, iako meni pripadaše, bludu se odala; uspalila se za ljubavnicima, za Asircima, susjedima svojim,BSBBSB: Oholah prostituted herself while she was still Mine. She lusted after her lovers, the Assyrians—warriors
6. 6SARu modri baršun odjevenima, sve samim vojvodama i namjesnicima, pristalim momcima, vještim konjanicima.BSBBSB: clothed in blue, governors and commanders, all desirable young men, horsemen mounted on steeds.
7. 7SARI oda se bludu s njima, sve poizbor sinovima asirskim; i usplamtjev za njima, okalja se svim njihovim kumirima.BSBBSB: She offered sexual favors to all the elite of Assyria. She defiled herself with all the idols of those for whom she lusted.
8. 8SARA ne okani se ni bluda s Egipćanima, koji s njome ležahu od njezine mladosti, koji su joj djevojačke dojke gnječili i na nju blud svoj izlijevali.BSBBSB: She did not give up the prostitution she began in Egypt, when men slept with her in her youth, caressed her virgin bosom, and poured out their lust upon her.
9. 9SARI zato je predah u ruke njenim ljubavnicima, u ruke Asircima za kojima se uspalila.BSBBSB: Therefore I delivered her into the hands of her lovers, the Assyrians for whom she lusted.
10. 10SARI oni je razgoliše, zarobiše joj sinove i kćeri, a nju samu mačem pogubiše. I postade tako primjer svim ženama kako na njoj bi sud izvršen.BSBBSB: They exposed her nakedness, seized her sons and daughters, and put her to the sword. Thus she became a byword among women, and they executed judgment against her.
11. 11SARVidje to sestra joj Oholiba, ali se još gore uspali i gori blud činjaše.BSBBSB: Her sister Oholibah saw this, yet in her lust and prostitution she was more depraved than her sister.
12. 12SARZa sinovima se asirskim uspaljivala, sve samim vojvodama i namjesnicima, svojim susjedima, raskošno odjevenim, vještim konjanicima, poizbor momcima.BSBBSB: She too lusted after the Assyrians—governors and commanders, warriors dressed in splendor, horsemen riding on steeds, all desirable young men.
13. 13SARI vidjeh kako se okaljala: obje su istim putem pošle.BSBBSB: And I saw that she too had defiled herself; both of them had taken the same path.
14. 14SARAli se ova još gore bludu odala: kad bi ugledala muškarca na zidu naslikana, likove Kaldejaca crvenilom nacrtane,BSBBSB: But Oholibah carried her prostitution even further. She saw the men portrayed on the wall, images of the Chaldeans, engraved in vermilion,
15. 15SARbedara pasom opasanih, sa spuštenim povezima na glavama - sve junake, prave Babilonce, rodom iz zemlje kaldejske -BSBBSB: wearing belts on their waists and flowing turbans on their heads; all of them looked like officers of the Babylonians in Chaldea, the land of their birth.
16. 16SARtek što bi ugledala priliku njihovu, sva bi se za njima uspalila te im slala poslanike u zemlju kaldejsku.BSBBSB: At the sight of them, she lusted for them and sent messengers to them in Chaldea.
17. 17SARSinovi babilonski k njoj bi dohrlili na ljubavnu postelju da je bludom kaljaju. A kad bi se s njima okaljala, zgadili bi joj se.BSBBSB: Then the Babylonians came to her, to the bed of love, and in their lust they defiled her. But after she had been defiled by them, she turned away in disgust.
18. 18SARAli se razglasilo njezino bludništvo, otkrila se njena golotinja, i duša se moja od nje odvratila, kao što se bješe odvratila od sestre njene.BSBBSB: When Oholibah openly prostituted herself and exposed her nakedness, I turned away from her in disgust, just as I had turned away from her sister.
19. 19SARJer ona se još gorem bludu predala, opominjući se dana svoje mladosti kad se u Egiptu bludu odavala,BSBBSB: Yet she multiplied her promiscuity, remembering the days of her youth, when she had prostituted herself in the land of Egypt
20. 20SARuspaljujući se za razvratnicima kojima muška snaga bijaše kao u magaraca, a izljev kao u pastuha.BSBBSB: and lusted after their lovers, whose genitals were like those of donkeys and whose emission was like that of stallions.
21. 21SARTako se opet vrati sramoti svoje mladosti, kad su joj u Egiptu grudi pritiskivali, djevičanske dojke gnječili.BSBBSB: So you revisited the indecency of your youth, when the Egyptians caressed your bosom and pressed your young breasts.
22. 22SARZato, Oholibo, ovako govori Jahve Gospod: 'Gle, dignut ću na te tvoje ljubavnike, koji ti se duši ogadiše, i dovest ću ih odasvud na tebe:BSBBSB: Therefore, Oholibah, this is what the Lord GOD says: ‘I will incite your lovers against you, those from whom you turned away in disgust. And I will bring them against you from every side—
23. 23SARBabilonce, sve Kaldejce, Pekođane, Šoance i Koance, a s njima sve sinove asirske - sve poizbor momke, vojvode i namjesnike, na glasu junake, vješte konjanike.BSBBSB: the Babylonians and all the Chaldeans, the men of Pekod, Shoa, and Koa, and all the Assyrians with them—all desirable young men, governors and commanders, officers and men of renown, mounted on horses.
24. 24SARI doći će na te sa sjevera sila bojnih kola i točkova s mnoštvom naroda i svrstat' se odasvud protiv tebe sa štitovima, štitićima i oklopima. Njima ću te na sud predati, i svojim će ti sudom suditi.BSBBSB: They will come against you with a host of peoples, with weapons, chariots, and wagons. They will array themselves against you on every side with buckler and shield and helmet. I will delegate judgment to them, and they will punish you according to their own standards.
25. 25SAROborit ću na te svu svoju ljubomoru, neka s tobom jarosno postupe: nos i uši neka ti odsijeku, a ostatak tvoj da od mača padne; sinove i kćeri da ti odvedu, a ostatak tvoj da oganj proguta.BSBBSB: And I will set My jealous rage against you, and they will deal with you in fury. They will cut off your noses and ears, and your survivors will fall by the sword. They will seize your sons and daughters, and your remnant will be consumed by fire.
26. 26SARI zderat će s tebe tvoje haljine i oteti sve tvoje nakite.BSBBSB: They will strip off your clothes and take your fine jewelry.
27. 27SARTako ću okončati svu tvoju sramotu i bludničenje, sve tamo od Egipta: nećeš više k njima oči dizati i nećeš se više spominjati Egipta!'BSBBSB: So I will put an end to your indecency and prostitution, which began in the land of Egypt, and you will not lift your eyes to them or remember Egypt anymore.’
28. 28SARJer, ovako govori Jahve Gospod: 'Evo me! Predat ću te u ruke onima koji ti omrznuše, koji ti se duši ogadiše.BSBBSB: For this is what the Lord GOD says: ‘Surely I will deliver you into the hands of those you hate, from whom you turned away in disgust.
29. 29SARNeka iskale na tebi svoju mržnju, neka ti svu muku preotmu, a tebe nek' ostave golu i nagu! Neka se obnaži sva golotinja tvoje bludnosti i besramnosti, tvojeg bludničenja.BSBBSB: They will treat you with hatred, take all for which you have worked, and leave you naked and bare, so that the shame of your prostitution will be exposed. Your indecency and promiscuity
30. 30SARSve će te to stići zbog tvojeg bludničenja s narodima i jer si se okaljala njihovim kumirima.BSBBSB: have brought these things upon you, because you have prostituted yourself with the nations and defiled yourself with their idols.
31. 31SARPutem si sestre svoje hodila: dat ću ti u ruku čašu njezinu:BSBBSB: Because you have followed the path of your sister, I will put her cup into your hand.’
32. 32SAROvako govori Jahve Gospod: Čašu sestre svoje ispit ćeš, čašu široku, duboku, i bit ćeš na podsmijeh i ruglo - mnogo u nju stane! -BSBBSB: This is what the Lord GOD says: ‘You will drink your sister’s cup, a cup deep and wide. It will bring scorn and derision, for it holds so much.
33. 33SARnapunit ćeš se pijanstva i žalosti! Čaša je to pustošenja, užasa - čaša sestre tvoje Samarije.BSBBSB: You will be filled with drunkenness and grief, with a cup of devastation and desolation, the cup of your sister Samaria.
34. 34SARPit ćeš je, do dna iskapiti, zatim u komade razbiti, grudi svoje izraniti. Jer, ja tako rekoh' - riječ je Jahve Gospoda!BSBBSB: You will drink it and drain it; you will dash it to pieces, and tear your breasts. For I have spoken,’ declares the Lord GOD.
35. 35SARStoga ovako govori Jahve Gospod: 'Jer ti mene zaboravi i leđa mi okrenu, snosi sada svu svoju sramotu i bestidnost!'”BSBBSB: Therefore this is what the Lord GOD says: ‘Because you have forgotten Me and have cast Me behind your back, you must bear the consequences of your indecency and prostitution.’”
36. 36SARI još mi reče Jahve: “Sine čovječji, hoćeš li suditi Oholi i Oholibi, pokazati im njihove gadosti?BSBBSB: Then the LORD said to me: “Son of man, will you pass judgment against Oholah and Oholibah? Then declare to them their abominations.
37. 37SARPreljub počiniše, ruke su im okrvavljene, s kumirima svojim preljub učiniše, djecu koju mi porodiše provedoše kroz oganj da ih proguta.BSBBSB: For they have committed adultery, and blood is on their hands. They have committed adultery with their idols. They have even sacrificed their children, whom they bore to Me, in the fire as food for their idols.
38. 38SARJoš mi i ovo učiniše: onoga dana obeščastiše moje Svetište i subote moje oskvrnuše.BSBBSB: They have also done this to Me: On that very same day, they defiled My sanctuary and profaned My Sabbaths.
39. 39SARJer istoga dana kad djecu svoju kumirima klaše, u Svetište moje dođoše da ga obeščaste. Eto, tako uradiše usred Doma mojega.BSBBSB: On the very day they slaughtered their children for their idols, they entered My sanctuary to profane it. Yes, they did this inside My house.
40. 40SARSlale su čak po muškarce izdaleka, i oni bi im pohrlili čim bi glasnici k njima stigli. A ti se za njih kupala, oči svoje mazala i nakitom se kitila.BSBBSB: Furthermore, you sisters sent messengers for men who came from afar; and behold, when they arrived, you bathed for them, painted your eyes, and adorned yourself with jewelry.
41. 41SARA potom bi sjedala na raskošnu postelju pred kojom stol prostrt bijaše na koji si stavljala moj tamjan i moje ulje.BSBBSB: You sat on a couch of luxury with a table spread before it, on which you had set My incense and My oil,
42. 42SARTu se čulo pocikivanje bezbrižnog društva zbog velikog mnoštva dovedena sa svih strana pustinje; stavljali su ženama na ruke narukvice i na glavu vijence prekrasne.BSBBSB: accompanied by the sound of a carefree crowd. Drunkards were brought in from the desert along with men from the rabble, who put bracelets on your wrists and beautiful crowns on your head.
43. 43SARI rekoh: 'Sa ženom ogrezlom u preljubu još blud tjeraju, i sama se ona još bludu odaje!'BSBBSB: Then I said of her who had grown old in adulteries: ‘Now let them use her as a prostitute, for that is all she is!’
44. 44SARPrilaze joj kao kakvoj bludnici! Da, prilazili su k Oholi i Oholibi, pokvarenicama.BSBBSB: And they slept with her as with a prostitute; they slept with Oholah and Oholibah, those lewd women.
45. 45SARZato će im pravednici suditi kao što se sudi preljubnicama i onima koji krv prolijevaju, jer - one su preljubnice, ruke su im okrvavljene.BSBBSB: But righteous men will sentence them to the punishment of those who commit adultery and bloodshed, because they are adulteresses with blood on their hands.
46. 46SARJer ovako govori Jahve Gospod: 'Neka se protiv njih zbor sazove da ih izvrgnem zlostavljanju i pljački.BSBBSB: This is what the Lord GOD says: ‘Bring a mob against them and consign them to terror and plunder.
47. 47SARZbor neka ih kamenuje i mačevima raskomada; sinove i kćeri neka im pokolje, a domove ognjem spali.BSBBSB: The mob will stone them and cut them down with their swords. They will kill their sons and daughters and burn down their houses.
48. 48SARTako ću iz zemlje istrijebiti sramotu, da se druge žene opomenu i ne čine djela vaših sramotnih.BSBBSB: So I will put an end to indecency in the land, and all the women will be admonished not to imitate your behavior.
49. 49SARA na vas ću oboriti svu vašu bestidnost, ispaštat ćete grijehe idolopoklonstva. I znat ćete da sam ja Jahve Gospod.'”BSBBSB: They will repay you for your indecency, and you will bear the consequences of your sins of idolatry. Then you will know that I am the Lord GOD.’”
