1Uđe ponovno u sinagogu. Bio je ondje čovjek usahle ruke.Once again Jesus entered the synagogue, and a man with a withered hand was there.

3On kaže čovjeku usahle ruke: “Stani na sredinu!”Then Jesus said to the man with the withered hand, “Stand up among us.”

Then He said to the man, “Stretch out your hand.” So he stretched it out, and it was restored.

6Farizeji iziđu i dadnu se odmah s herodovcima na vijećanje protiv njega kako da ga pogube.At this, the Pharisees went out and began plotting with the Herodians how they might kill Jesus.

8iz Jeruzalema, iz Idumeje, iz Transjordanije i iz okolice Tira i Sidona - silno je mnoštvo čulo što čini i nagrnulo k njemu.Jerusalem, Idumea, the region beyond the Jordan, and the vicinity of Tyre and Sidon. The large crowd came to Him when they heard what great things He was doing.

9Stoga reče učenicima neka mu se zbog mnoštva pripravi lađica da ga ne bi zgnjeli.Jesus asked His disciples to have a boat ready for Him so that the crowd would not crush Him.

10Jer mnoge je ozdravio pa su se svi koji bijahu pogođeni kakvim zlom bacali na nj da bi ga se dotakli.For He had healed so many that all who had diseases were pressing forward to touch Him.

11A nečisti duhovi, čim bi ga spazili, padali bi preda nj i vikali: “Ti si Sin Božji!”And when the unclean spirits saw Him, they fell down before Him and cried out, “You are the Son of God!”

12A on im se oštro prijetio da ga ne prokazuju.But He warned them sternly not to make Him known.

13Uziđe na goru i pozove koje sam htjede. I dođoše k njemu.Then Jesus went up on the mountain and called for those He wanted, and they came to Him.

14I ustanovi dvanaestoricu da budu s njime i da ih šalje propovijedatiHe appointed twelve of them, whom He designated as apostles, to accompany Him, to be sent out to preach,

15s vlašću da izgone đavle.and to have authority to drive out demons.

16Ustanovi dakle dvanaestoricu: Šimuna, kojemu nadjenu ime Petar,These are the twelve He appointed: Simon (whom He named Peter),

17i Jakova Zebedejeva i Ivana, brata Jakovljeva, kojima nadjenu ime Boanerges, to jest Sinovi groma,James son of Zebedee and his brother John (whom He named Boanerges, meaning “Sons of Thunder”),

18i Andriju i Filipa i Bartolomeja i Mateja i Tomu i Jakova Alfejeva i Tadeja i Šimuna KananajcaAndrew, Philip, Bartholomew, Matthew, Thomas, James son of Alphaeus, Thaddaeus, Simon the Zealot,

19i Judu Iškariotskoga, koji ga izda.and Judas Iscariot, who betrayed Jesus.

20I dođe Isus u kuću. Opet se skupi toliko mnoštvo da nisu mogli ni jesti.Then Jesus went home, and once again a crowd gathered, so that He and His disciples could not even eat.

21Čuvši to, dođoše njegovi da ga obuzdaju jer se govorilo: “Izvan sebe je!”When His family heard about this, they went out to take custody of Him, saying, “He is out of His mind.”

22I pismoznanci što siđoše iz Jeruzalema govorahu: “Beelzebula ima, po poglavici đavolskom izgoni đavle.”And the scribes who had come down from Jerusalem were saying, “He is possessed by Beelzebul,” and, “By the prince of the demons He drives out demons.”

23A on ih dozva pa im u prispodobama govoraše: “Kako može Sotona Sotonu izgoniti?So Jesus called them together and began to speak to them in parables: “How can Satan drive out Satan?

24Ako se kraljevstvo u sebi razdijeli, ono ne može opstati.If a kingdom is divided against itself, it cannot stand.

25Ili: ako se kuća u sebi razdijeli, ona ne može opstati.If a house is divided against itself, it cannot stand.

26Ako je dakle Sotona sam na sebe ustao i razdijelio se, ne može opstati, nego mu je kraj.And if Satan is divided and rises against himself, he cannot stand; his end has come.

27Nitko, dakako, ne može u kuću jakoga ući i oplijeniti mu pokućstvo ako prije jakoga ne sveže. Tada će mu kuću oplijeniti!”Indeed, no one can enter a strong man’s house to steal his possessions unless he first ties up the strong man. Then he can plunder his house.

28Doista, kažem vam, sve će se oprostiti sinovima ljudskima, koliki god bili grijesi i hule kojima pohule.Truly I tell you, the sons of men will be forgiven all sins and blasphemies, as many as they utter.

29No pohuli li tko na Duha Svetoga, nema oproštenja dovijeka; krivac je grijeha vječnoga.”But whoever blasphemes against the Holy Spirit will never be forgiven; he is guilty of eternal sin.”

30Jer govorahu: “Duha nečistoga ima.”Jesus made this statement because they were saying, “He has an unclean spirit.”

31I dođu majka njegova i braća njegova. Ostanu vani, a k njemu pošalju neka ga pozovu.Then Jesus’ mother and brothers came and stood outside. They sent someone in to summon Him,

32Oko njega je sjedjelo mnoštvo. I reknu mu: “Eno vani majke tvoje i braće tvoje, traže te!”and a crowd was sitting around Him. “Look,” He was told, “Your mother and brothers are outside, asking for You.”

33On im odgovori: “Tko je majka moja i braća moja?”But Jesus replied, “Who are My mother and My brothers?”

34I okruži pogledom po onima što su sjedjeli oko njega u krugu i kaže: “Evo majke moje, evo braće moje!Looking at those seated in a circle around Him, He said, “Here are My mother and My brothers!

35Tko god vrši volju Božju, on mi je brat i sestra i majka.”For whoever does the will of God is My brother and sister and mother.”
