Croatian Bible (Šarić)Berean Standard Bible

1. 1SARPitam dakle: Zar je Bog odbacio narod svoj? Nipošto? Ta i ja sam Izraelac, iz potomstva Abrahamova, plemena Benjaminova.BSBBSB: I ask then, did God reject His people? Certainly not! I am an Israelite myself, a descendant of Abraham, from the tribe of Benjamin.
2. 2SARNije Bog odbacio naroda svojega koga predvidje. Ili zar ne znate što veli Pismo, ono o Iliji - kako se tuži Bogu na Izraela:BSBBSB: God did not reject His people, whom He foreknew. Do you not know what the Scripture says about Elijah, how he appealed to God against Israel:
3. 3SARGospode, proroke tvoje pobiše, žrtvenike tvoje porušiše; ja ostadoh sam i još mi o glavi rade.BSBBSB: “Lord, they have killed Your prophets and torn down Your altars. I am the only one left, and they are seeking my life as well”?
4. 4SARPa što mu veli Božji glas? Ostavih sebi sedam tisuća ljudi koji ne prignuše koljena pred Baalom.BSBBSB: And what was the divine reply to him? “I have reserved for Myself seven thousand men who have not bowed the knee to Baal.”
5. 5SARTako dakle i u sadašnje vrijeme postoji Ostatak po milosnom izboru.BSBBSB: In the same way, at the present time there is a remnant chosen by grace.
6. 6SARAko pak po milosti, nije po djelima; inače milost nije više milost!BSBBSB: And if it is by grace, then it is no longer by works. Otherwise, grace would no longer be grace.
7. 7SARŠto dakle? Ostali pak otvrdnuše,BSBBSB: What then? What Israel was seeking, it failed to obtain, but the elect did. The others were hardened,
8. 8SARkao što je pisano: Dade im Bog duh obamrlosti, oči da ne vide, uši da ne čuju sve do dana današnjega.BSBBSB: as it is written: “God gave them a spirit of stupor, eyes that could not see, and ears that could not hear, to this very day.”
9. 9SARI David veli: Nek im stol pred njima bude zamkom, i mrežom, i stupicom, i plaćom.BSBBSB: And David says: “May their table become a snare and a trap, a stumbling block and a retribution to them.
10. 10SARNek im potamne oči da ne vide i leđa im zauvijek pogni!BSBBSB: May their eyes be darkened so they cannot see, and their backs be bent forever.”
11. 11SARPitam dakle: jesu li posrnuli da propadnu? Nipošto! Naprotiv: po njihovu posrtaju spasenje poganima da se tako oni, Židovi, izazovu na ljubomor.BSBBSB: I ask then, did they stumble so as to fall beyond recovery? Certainly not! However, because of their trespass, salvation has come to the Gentiles to make Israel jealous.
But if their trespass means riches for the world, and their failure means riches for the Gentiles, how much greater riches will their fullness bring!
13. 13SARVama pak, poganima, velim: ja kao apostol pogana službu svoju proslavljamBSBBSB: I am speaking to you Gentiles. Inasmuch as I am the apostle to the Gentiles, I magnify my ministry
14. 14SARne bih li na ljubomor izazvao njih, tijelo svoje, i spasio neke od njih.BSBBSB: in the hope that I may provoke my own people to jealousy and save some of them.
For if their rejection is the reconciliation of the world, what will their acceptance be but life from the dead?
16. 16SARAko li su prvine svete, sveto je i tijesto; ako li je korijen svet, svete su i grane.BSBBSB: If the first part of the dough is holy, so is the whole batch; if the root is holy, so are the branches.
17. 17SARPa ako su neke grane odlomljene, a ti, divlja maslina, pricijepljen umjesto njih, postao suzajedničar korijena, sočnosti masline,BSBBSB: Now if some branches have been broken off, and you, a wild olive shoot, have been grafted in among the others to share in the nourishment of the olive root,
18. 18SARne uznosi se nad grane. Ako li se hoćeš uznositi - ne nosiš ti korijena, nego korijen tebe.BSBBSB: do not boast over those branches. If you do, remember this: You do not support the root, but the root supports you.
19. 19SARReći ćeš na to: grane su odlomljene da se ja pricijepim.BSBBSB: You will say then, “Branches were broken off so that I could be grafted in.”
20. 20SARDobro! Ne uznosi se, nego strahuj!BSBBSB: That is correct: They were broken off because of unbelief, but you stand by faith. Do not be arrogant, but be afraid.
21. 21SARJer ako Bog ne poštedje prirodnih grana, ni tebe neće poštedjeti.BSBBSB: For if God did not spare the natural branches, He will certainly not spare you either.
Take notice, therefore, of the kindness and severity of God: severity to those who fell, but kindness to you, if you continue in His kindness. Otherwise you also will be cut off.
23. 23SARA i oni, ako ne ostanu u nevjeri, bit će pricijepljeni; ta moćan je Bog da ih opet pricijepi.BSBBSB: And if they do not persist in unbelief, they will be grafted in, for God is able to graft them in again.
For if you were cut from a wild olive tree, and contrary to nature were grafted into one that is cultivated, how much more readily will these, the natural branches, be grafted into their own olive tree!
25. 25SARJer ne bih htio, braćo, da budete sami po sebi pametni, a da ne znate ovo otajstvo: djelomično je otvrdnuće zadesilo Izraela dok punina pogana ne uđe.BSBBSB: I do not want you to be ignorant of this mystery, brothers, so that you will not be conceited: A hardening in part has come to Israel, until the full number of the Gentiles has come in.
26. 26SARI tako će se cio Izrael spasiti, kako je pisano: Doći će sa Siona Otkupitelj, odvratit će bezbožnost od Jakova.BSBBSB: And so all Israel will be saved, as it is written: “The Deliverer will come from Zion; He will remove godlessness from Jacob.
27. 27SARI to će biti moj Savez s njima, kad uklonim grijehe njihove.BSBBSB: And this is My covenant with them when I take away their sins.”
28. 28SARU pogledu evanđelja oni su, istina, protivnici poradi vas, ali u pogledu izabranja oni su ljubimci poradi otaca.BSBBSB: Regarding the gospel, they are enemies on your account; but regarding election, they are loved on account of the patriarchs.
29. 29SARTa neopozivi su dari i poziv Božji!BSBBSB: For God’s gifts and His call are irrevocable.
30. 30SARDoista, kao što vi nekoć bijaste neposlušni Bogu, a sada po njihovoj neposlušnosti zadobiste milosrđeBSBBSB: Just as you who formerly disobeyed God have now received mercy through their disobedience,
31. 31SARtako i oni sada po milosrđu vama iskazanu postadoše neposlušni da i oni sada zadobiju milosrđe.BSBBSB: so they too have now disobeyed, in order that they too may now receive mercy through the mercy shown to you.
32. 32SARJer Bog je sve zatvorio u neposlušnost da se svima smiluje.BSBBSB: For God has consigned everyone to disobedience so that He may have mercy on everyone.
33. 33SARO dubino bogatstva, i mudrosti, i spoznanja Božjega! Kako li su nedokučivi sudovi i neistraživi putovi njegovi!BSBBSB: O, the depth of the riches of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are His judgments, and untraceable His ways!
34. 34SARDoista, tko spozna misao Gospodnju, tko li mu bi savjetnikom?BSBBSB: “Who has known the mind of the Lord? Or who has been His counselor?”
35. 35SARIli: tko ga darom preteče da bi mu se uzvratiti moralo?BSBBSB: “Who has first given to God, that God should repay him?”
36. 36SARJer sve je od njega i po njemu i za njega! Njemu slava u vjekove! Amen.BSBBSB: For from Him and through Him and to Him are all things. To Him be the glory forever! Amen.
