1. 1SARSlaboga u vjeri prigrlite, ali ne da se prepirete o mišljenjima.BSBBSB: Accept him whose faith is weak, without passing judgment on his opinions.
2. 2SARNetko vjeruje da smije sve jesti, slabi opet jede samo povrće.BSBBSB: For one person has faith to eat all things, while another, who is weak, eats only vegetables.
3. 3SARTko jede, neka ne prezire onoga tko ne jede; tko pak ne jede, neka ne sudi onoga tko jede. Ta Bog ga je prigrlio.BSBBSB: The one who eats everything must not belittle the one who does not, and the one who does not eat everything must not judge the one who does, for God has accepted him.
4. 4SARTko si ti da sudiš tuđega slugu? Svojemu Gospodaru i stoji i pada! A stajat će jer moćan je Gospodin da ga podrži.BSBBSB: Who are you to judge someone else’s servant? To his own master he stands or falls. And he will stand, for the Lord is able to make him stand.
5. 5SARNetko razlikuje dan od dana, nekomu je opet svaki dan jednak. Samo nek je svatko posve uvjeren u svoje mišljenje.BSBBSB: One person regards a certain day above the others, while someone else considers every day alike. Each one should be fully convinced in his own mind.
6. 6SARTko na dan misli, poradi Gospodina misli; i tko jede, poradi Gospodina jede: zahvaljuje Bogu. I tko ne jede, poradi Gospodina ne jede i - zahvaljuje Bogu.BSBBSB: He who observes a special day does so to the Lord; he who eats does so to the Lord, for he gives thanks to God; and he who abstains does so to the Lord and gives thanks to God.
7. 7SARJer nitko od nas sebi ne živi, nitko sebi ne umire.BSBBSB: For none of us lives to himself alone, and none of us dies to himself alone.
8. 8SARDoista, ako živimo, Gospodinu živimo, i ako umiremo, Gospodinu umiremo. Živimo li dakle ili umiremo - Gospodinovi smo.BSBBSB: If we live, we live to the Lord, and if we die, we die to the Lord. So whether we live or die, we belong to the Lord.
9. 9SARTa Krist zato umrije i oživje da gospodar bude i mrtvima i živima.BSBBSB: For this reason Christ died and returned to life, that He might be the Lord of both the dead and the living.
10. 10SARA ti, što sudiš brata svoga? Ili ti, što prezireš brata svoga? Ta svi ćemo stati pred sudište Božje.BSBBSB: Why, then, do you judge your brother? Or why do you belittle your brother? For we will all stand before God’s judgment seat.
11. 11SARJer pisano je: Života mi moga, govori Gospodin, prignut će se preda mnom svako koljeno i svaki će jezik priznati Boga.BSBBSB: It is written: “As surely as I live, says the Lord, every knee will bow before Me; every tongue will confess to God.”
12. 12SARSvaki će dakle od nas za sebe Bogu dati račun.BSBBSB: So then, each of us will give an account of himself to God.
13. 13SARDakle, ne sudimo više jedan drugoga, nego radije sudite o tome da ne valja postavljati bratu stupice ili spoticala.BSBBSB: Therefore let us stop judging one another. Instead, make up your mind not to put any stumbling block or obstacle in your brother’s way.
14. 14SARZnam i uvjeren sam u Gospodinu: ništa samo od sebe nije nečisto. Samo je onomu nečisto tko to smatra nečistim.BSBBSB: I am convinced and fully persuaded in the Lord Jesus that nothing is unclean in itself. But if anyone regards something as unclean, then for him it is unclean.
15. 15SARDoista, ako je poradi hrane tvoj brat ražalošćen, već nisi na putu ljubavi. Ne upropašćuj tom svojom hranom onoga za koga je Krist umro!BSBBSB: If your brother is distressed by what you eat, you are no longer acting in love. Do not by your eating destroy your brother, for whom Christ died.
16. 16SARNemojte da se pogrđuje vaše dobro!BSBBSB: Do not allow what you consider good, then, to be spoken of as evil.
17. 17SARTa kraljevstvo Božje nije jelo ili piće, nego pravednost, mir i radost u Duhu Svetome.BSBBSB: For the kingdom of God is not a matter of eating and drinking, but of righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit.
18. 18SARDa, tko tako Kristu služi, mio je Bogu i cijene ga ljudi.BSBBSB: For whoever serves Christ in this way is pleasing to God and approved by men.
19. 19SARNastojmo stoga promicati mir i uzajamno izgrađivanje!BSBBSB: So then, let us pursue what leads to peace and to mutual edification.
20. 20SARNe razaraj djela Božjega poradi hrane! Sve je, istina, čisto, ali je zlo za onoga tko na sablazan jede.BSBBSB: Do not destroy the work of God for the sake of food. All food is clean, but it is wrong for a man to let his eating be a stumbling block.
21. 21SARDobro je ne jesti mesa i ne piti vina i ne uzimati ništa o što se tvoj brat spotiče.BSBBSB: It is better not to eat meat or drink wine or to do anything to cause your brother to stumble.
22. 22SARTi imaš uvjerenje. Za sebe ga imaj pred Bogom. Blago onomu tko samoga sebe ne osuđuje u onom na što se odlučuje!BSBBSB: Keep your belief about such matters between yourself and God. Blessed is the one who does not condemn himself by what he approves.
23. 23SARJede li tko dvoumeći, osudio se jer ne radi iz uvjerenja. A sve što nije iz uvjerenja, grijeh je.BSBBSB: But the one who has doubts is condemned if he eats, because his eating is not from faith; and everything that is not from faith is sin.
