3 ULB Si pencoba datang dan berkata kepadaNya, "Jika Engkau Putra Allah, perintahkanlah batu-batu ini agar menjadi roti." BSB BSB: The tempter came to Him and said, “If You are the Son of God, tell these stones to become bread.”
4 ULB Tetapi Yesus menjawab dan berkata kepadanya, "Ada tertulis, 'Manusia hidup bukan hanya dari roti saja tetapi dari setiap firman yang keluar dari mulut Allah.'" BSB BSB: But Jesus answered, “It is written: ‘Man shall not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God.’”
5 ULB Kemudian iblis membawaNya ke Kota Suci dan menempatkan Dia di puncak tertinggi dari Bait Suci, BSB BSB: Then the devil took Him to the holy city and set Him on the pinnacle of the temple.
6 ULB dan berkata kepadaNya, "Jika Engkau adalah Putra Allah, jatuhkanlah diriMu ke bawah, karena ada tertulis, 'Ia akan memerintahkan malaikatNya untuk menjaga Engkau' dan 'Mereka akan mengangkatMu dengan tangan mereka supaya kakiMu tidak akan membentur batu.'" 7 ULB Yesus berkata kepadanya, "Sekali lagi, ada tertulis, 'Jangan kamu menguji Tuhan Allahmu.'" BSB BSB: Jesus replied, “It is also written: ‘Do not put the Lord your God to the test.’”
8 ULB Sekali lagi, iblis membawaNya naik ke tempat yang tinggi dan memperlihatkan padaNya seluruh kerajaan di bumi beserta kemegahannya. BSB BSB: Again, the devil took Him to a very high mountain and showed Him all the kingdoms of the world and their glory.
9 ULB Ia berkata kepadaNya, "Semua ini akan kuberikan kepadaMu jika Engkau sujud dan menyembahku." BSB BSB: “All this I will give You,” he said, “if You will fall down and worship me.”
10 ULB Kemudian Yesus berkata kepadanya, "Enyahlah, Setan! Karena ada tertulis, 'Kamu harus menyembah Tuhan Allahmu dan kamu harus melayani Dia saja.'" BSB BSB: “Away from Me, Satan!” Jesus told him. “For it is written: ‘Worship the Lord your God and serve Him only.’”
11 ULB Lalu iblis meninggalkan Dia, dan lihatlah, malaikat-malaikat datang dan melayani Dia. BSB BSB: Then the devil left Him, and angels came and ministered to Him.
12 ULB Ketika Yesus mendengar bahwa Yohanes telah ditangkap, Ia pun menyingkir ke Galilea. BSB BSB: When Jesus heard that John had been imprisoned, He withdrew to Galilee.

21 ULB Ketika Yesus sedang melanjutkan perjalanan, Ia melihat dua orang bersaudara, Yakobus putra Zebedeus, dan Yohanes saudaranya. 24 ULB Berita tentang Dia tersebar hingga ke seluruh Siria dan orang-orang membawa kepadaNya semua orang yang sakit, orang-orang yang menderita berbagai penyakit dan kesakitan, mereka yang kerasukan roh jahat dan yang sakit ayan serta yang lumpuh. Yesus menyembuhkan mereka. BSB BSB: News about Him spread all over Syria, and people brought to Him all who were ill with various diseases, those suffering acute pain, the demon-possessed, those having seizures, and the paralyzed, and He healed them.
25 ULB Kumpulan orang banyak mengikuti Dia dari Galilea, Dekapolis, Yerusalem, dan Yudea, dan dari seberang Yordan. BSB BSB: Large crowds followed Him, having come from Galilee, the Decapolis, Jerusalem, Judea, and beyond the Jordan.
