1 ULB Lalu malaikat itu menunjukkan kepadaku sungai air kehidupan, airnya jernih bagaikan kristal. 2 ULB menelusuri tengah jalan kota itu. Pada kedua tepi sungai itu, ada pohon kehidupan yang mengeluarkan dua belas jenis buah, dan pohon itu mengeluarkan buahnya setiap bulan. On either side of the river stood a tree of life, bearing twelve kinds of fruit and yielding a fresh crop for each month. And the leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations.
3 ULB Tidak akan ada lagi kutuk di sana. Takhta Allah dan takhta Anak Domba akan ada di dalamnya, dan hamba-hamba-Nya akan melayani Dia. BSB BSB: No longer will there be any curse. The throne of God and of the Lamb will be within the city, and His servants will worship Him.
4 ULB Mereka akan melihat wajah-Nya dan nama-Nya akan tertulis pada dahi mereka. BSB BSB: They will see His face, and His name will be on their foreheads.
5 ULB Malampun tidak akan ada lagi di sana; mereka tidak memerlukan cahaya lampu atau cahaya matahari sebab Tuhan Allah akan menerangi mereka. Mereka akan memerintah untuk selama-lamanya. BSB BSB: There will be no more night in the city, and they will have no need for the light of a lamp or of the sun. For the Lord God will shine on them, and they will reign forever and ever.
6 ULB Lalu malaikat itu berkata kepadaku, "Perkataan-perkataan ini dapat dipercaya dan benar. Tuhan, yaitu Allah roh-roh para nabi telah mengutus malaikatNya untuk menunjukkan kepada hamba-hambaNya apa yang harus segera terjadi." BSB BSB: Then the angel said to me, “These words are faithful and true. The Lord, the God of the spirits of the prophets, has sent His angel to show His servants what must soon take place.”
7 ULB "Lihatlah! Aku datang segera! Berbahagialah orang yang menuruti perkataan-perkataan nubuat kitab ini." BSB BSB: “Behold, I am coming soon. Blessed is the one who keeps the words of prophecy in this book.”
8 ULB Dan aku, Yohanes, akulah yang telah mendengar dan melihat semuanya itu. Setelah aku mendengar dan melihat semuanya, aku sujud di depan kaki malaikat yang telah menunjukkan semuanya itu kepadaku, untuk menyembahnya. BSB BSB: And I, John, am the one who heard and saw these things. And when I had heard and seen them, I fell down to worship at the feet of the angel who had shown me these things.
9 ULB Tetapi ia berkata kepadaku, "Jangan berbuat demikian! Aku adalah hamba sama seperti engkau dan saudara-saudaramu, para nabi, dan semua mereka yang menuruti segala perkataan kitab ini. Sembahlah Allah!" BSB BSB: But he said to me, “Do not do that! I am a fellow servant with you and your brothers the prophets, and with those who keep the words of this book. Worship God!”
10 ULB Lalu ia berkata kepadaku, "Jangan memeteraikan perkataan-perkataan nubuat kitab ini, sebab wakunya sudah dekat. BSB BSB: Then he told me, “Do not seal up the words of prophecy in this book, because the time is near.
11 ULB Siapa yang tidak benar, biarlah ia terus berbuat hal-hal yang tidak benar. Siapa yang cemar, biarlah ia terus cemar. Siapa yang benar, biarlah ia terus berbuat kebenaran. Siapa yang kudus, biarlah ia terus kudus." BSB BSB: Let the unrighteous continue to be unrighteous, and the vile continue to be vile; let the righteous continue to practice righteousness, and the holy continue to be holy.”
12 ULB "Lihatlah! Aku datang segera. Aku membawa serta pahalaKu, untuk membalaskan kepada setiap orang menurut perbuatannya. BSB BSB: “Behold, I am coming soon, and My reward is with Me, to give to each one according to what he has done.
13 ULB Akulah Alfa dan Omega, Yang Pertama dan Yang Terkemudian, Yang Awal dan Yang Akhir." BSB BSB: I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End.”
14 ULB Berbahagialah mereka yang telah membasuh jubahnya; mereka akan memperoleh hak untuk makan dari pohon kehidupan dan masuk ke dalam kota melalui pintu-pintu gerbangnya. BSB BSB: Blessed are those who wash their robes, so that they may have the right to the tree of life and may enter the city by its gates.
15 ULB Tetapi anjing-anjing dan tukang-tukang sihir, orang-orang sundal, pembunuh-pembunuh, penyembah-penyembah berhala dan setiap orang yang mencintai dusta dan melakukannya, tinggal diluar. BSB BSB: But outside are the dogs, the sorcerers, the sexually immoral, the murderers, the idolaters, and everyone who loves and practices falsehood.
16 ULB "Aku, Yesus, telah mengutus malaikatKu untuk bersaksi tentang semuanya ini kepadamu bagi jemaat-jemaat. Akulah tunas, keturunan Daud, Bintang Timur yang gilang-gemilang. BSB BSB: “I, Jesus, have sent My angel to give you this testimony for the churches. I am the Root and the Offspring of David, the bright Morning Star.”
17 ULB Roh dan mempelai perempuan itu berkata, "Marilah!" Siapa yang mendengarnya, hendaklah ia berkata, "Marilah!" Siapa yang haus hendaklah ia datang, dan siapa yang mau, hendaklah ia mengambil air kehidupan dengan cuma-cuma. BSB BSB: The Spirit and the bride say, “Come!” Let the one who hears say, “Come!” And let the one who is thirsty come, and the one who desires the water of life drink freely.
18 ULB Aku bersaksi kepada siapa yang mendengar perkataan nubuat ini. Jika seseorang menambahkan sesuatu kepada perkataan-perkataan ini, maka Allah akan menambahkan kepadanya malapetaka-malapetaka yang tertulis di dalam kitab ini. BSB BSB: I testify to everyone who hears the words of prophecy in this book: If anyone adds to them, God will add to him the plagues described in this book.
19 ULB Jikalau seseorang mengurangkan sesuatu dari perkataan-perkataan nubuat kitab ini, maka Allah akan mengambil bagiannya dari pohon kehidupan dan kota kudus, seperti yang tertulis di dalam kitab ini. BSB BSB: And if anyone takes away from the words of this book of prophecy, God will take away his share in the tree of life and the holy city, which are described in this book.
20 ULB Ia yang bersaksi tentang semuanya ini, berfirman, "Ya! Aku datang segera." Amin! Datanglah, Tuhan Yesus! BSB BSB: He who testifies to these things says, “Yes, I am coming soon.” Amen. Come, Lord Jesus!
21 ULB Kiranya anugerah dari Tuhan Yesus menyertai kamu sekalian. Amin. BSB BSB: The grace of the Lord Jesus be with all the saints. Amen.
