1. 1JPNMイスラエルの家よ、私があなたがたのために歌うこの哀歌を聞け。BSBBSB: Hear this word, O house of Israel, this lamentation I take up against you:
2. 2JPNM「おとめイスラエルは倒れた。 もう起き上がることはない。 自分の地に投げ倒され、 彼女を起こす者は一人もいない。」BSBBSB: “Fallen is Virgin Israel, never to rise again. She lies abandoned on her land, with no one to raise her up.”
3. 3JPNM主なる神はこう言われる。 「千人を出陣させた町には百人しか残らず、 百人を出陣させた町には十人しか残らない。 イスラエルの家はこのようになる。」BSBBSB: This is what the Lord GOD says: “The city that marches out a thousand strong will have but a hundred left, and the one that marches out a hundred strong will have but ten left in the house of Israel.”
4. 4JPNM主はイスラエルの家にこう言われる。 「私を求めて生きよ。BSBBSB: For this is what the LORD says to the house of Israel: “Seek Me and live!
5. 5JPNMベテルを求めるな。 ギルガルに入るな。 ベエル・シェバへ渡って行くな。 ギルガルは必ず捕囚となり、 ベテルは無に帰す。BSBBSB: Do not seek Bethel or go to Gilgal; do not journey to Beersheba, for Gilgal will surely go into exile, and Bethel will come to nothing.
6. 6JPNM主を求めて生きよ。 そうでなければ、主は火のようにヨセフの家に燃え広がり、 これを焼き尽くす。 ベテルには、その火を消す者がいない。BSBBSB: Seek the LORD and live, or He will sweep like fire through the house of Joseph; it will devour everything, with no one at Bethel to extinguish it.

8. 8JPNMすばるとオリオン座を造り、 死の陰を朝に変え、 昼を夜のように暗くする方を求めよ。 海の水を呼び集め、 それを地の表に注がれる方。 その名は主。BSBBSB: He who made the Pleiades and Orion, who turns darkness into dawn and darkens day into night, who summons the waters of the sea and pours them over the face of the earth—the LORD is His name—
9. 9JPNM強い者に突然の滅びをもたらし、 要塞をも打ち壊す方。BSBBSB: He flashes destruction on the strong, so that fury comes upon the stronghold.
10. 10JPNM彼らは門で人を戒める者を憎み、 誠実に語る者を忌み嫌う。BSBBSB: There are those who hate the one who reproves in the gate and despise him who speaks with integrity.
11. 11JPNMあなたがたは貧しい者を踏みつけ、 その者から小麦を税として取り立てている。 それゆえ、切り石で家を建てても、 そこに住むことはない。 美しいぶどう畑を植えても、 そのぶどう酒を飲むことはない。BSBBSB: Therefore, because you trample on the poor and exact from him a tax of grain, you will never live in the stone houses you have built; you will never drink the wine from the lush vineyards you have planted.
12. 12JPNM私は、あなたがたの背きがどれほど多く、 罪がどれほど重いかを知っている。 あなたがたは義人を苦しめ、 賄賂を受け取り、 門で貧しい者の訴えを退けている。BSBBSB: For I know that your transgressions are many and your sins are numerous. You oppress the righteous by taking bribes; you deprive the poor of justice in the gate.
13. 13JPNMそれゆえ、思慮ある者はこの時、沈黙する。 悪しき時だ。BSBBSB: Therefore, the prudent keep silent in such times, for the days are evil.
14. 14JPNM善を求めよ。悪を求めるな。 そうすれば、あなたがたは生きる。 あなたがたが言うとおり、 万軍の神、主があなたがたとともにおられる。BSBBSB: Seek good, not evil, so that you may live. And the LORD, the God of Hosts, will be with you, as you have claimed.
15. 15JPNM悪を憎み、善を愛し、 門で公正を確立せよ。 そうすれば、万軍の神、主は、 ヨセフの残りの者をあわれまれるかもしれない。」BSBBSB: Hate evil and love good; establish justice in the gate. Perhaps the LORD, the God of Hosts, will be gracious to the remnant of Joseph.”
16. 16JPNMそれゆえ、万軍の神、主なる神はこう言われる。 「すべての広場で嘆きの声が上がり、 すべての通りで人々は『ああ、ああ』と言う。 彼らは農夫を呼んで嘆かせ、 嘆き歌に熟練した者たちを呼んで泣き叫ばせる。BSBBSB: Therefore this is what the LORD, the God of Hosts, the Lord, says: “There will be wailing in all the public squares and cries of ‘Alas! Alas!’ in all the streets. The farmer will be summoned to mourn, and the mourners to wail.
17. 17JPNMすべてのぶどう畑で嘆きの声が上がる。 私があなたがたのただ中を通り過ぎる」 と主は言われる。BSBBSB: There will be wailing in all the vineyards, for I will pass through your midst,” says the LORD.
18. 18JPNM「主の日を待ち望む者たちに災いあれ。 なぜあなたがたは主の日を待ち望むのか。 それは闇であって、 光ではない。BSBBSB: Woe to you who long for the Day of the LORD! What will the Day of the LORD be for you? It will be darkness and not light.
19. 19JPNM人が獅子から逃げたかと思うと熊に出会い、 家に入って壁に手をつくと、 蛇にかまれるようなものだ。BSBBSB: It will be like a man who flees from a lion, only to encounter a bear, or who enters his house and rests his hand against the wall, only to be bitten by a snake.
20. 20JPNM主の日は闇であって、光ではないのではないか。 暗黒であって、輝きは少しもないのではないか。BSBBSB: Will not the Day of the LORD be darkness and not light, even gloom with no brightness in it?
21. 21JPNM私はあなたがたの祭りを憎み、忌み嫌う。 あなたがたの厳粛な集会には耐えられない。BSBBSB: “I hate, I despise your feasts! I cannot stand the stench of your solemn assemblies.
22. 22JPNMたとえあなたがたが全焼のささげ物と穀物のささげ物を私に献げても、 私はそれらを受け入れない。 肥えた家畜の交わりのいけにえにも、 目を留めない。BSBBSB: Even though you offer Me burnt offerings and grain offerings, I will not accept them; for your peace offerings of fattened cattle I will have no regard.
23. 23JPNMあなたがたの歌の騒がしい音を、 私から遠ざけよ。 あなたがたの竪琴の調べを、 私は聞かない。BSBBSB: Take away from Me the noise of your songs! I will not listen to the music of your harps.
24. 24JPNMしかし、公正を川のように、 義を力強く流れる大河のように流れさせよ。」BSBBSB: But let justice roll on like a river, and righteousness like an ever-flowing stream.
25. 25JPNM「イスラエルの家よ、あなたがたは荒野で四十年の間、私にいけにえとささげ物を献げたのか。BSBBSB: Did you bring Me sacrifices and offerings forty years in the wilderness, O house of Israel?
26. 26JPNMあなたがたは、自分たちの王の天幕と、偶像を載せる台座と、自分たちのために造った神の星を担いだ。BSBBSB: You have taken along Sakkuth your king and Kaiwan your star god, the idols you made for yourselves.
27. 27JPNMそれゆえ、私はあなたがたをダマスコのかなたへ捕らえ移す」 と主は言われる。その名は万軍の神、主である。BSBBSB: Therefore I will send you into exile beyond Damascus,” says the LORD, whose name is the God of Hosts.
