BSB BSB: And David realized that the LORD had established him as king over Israel and had highly exalted his kingdom for the sake of His people Israel.
3 ULB ದಾವೀದನು ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಸಹ ಕೆಲವು ಸ್ತ್ರೀಯರನ್ನು ಮದುವೆಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡು ಇನ್ನೂ ಕೆಲವು ಗಂಡು ಹೆಣ್ಣು ಮಕ್ಕಳನ್ನು ಪಡೆದನು. BSB BSB: And David took more wives in Jerusalem and became the father of more sons and daughters.

7 ULB ಎಲೀಷಾಮ್, ಬೇಲ್ಯಾದ ಮತ್ತು ಎಲೀಫೆಲೆಟ್. BSB BSB: Elishama, Beeliada, and Eliphelet.
8 ULB ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ಯರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ದಾವೀದನನ್ನು ಅಭಿಷೇಕಿಸಿ ಅವನನ್ನು ತಮ್ಮ ಅರಸನನ್ನಾಗಿ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡರೆಂಬ ವರ್ತಮಾನವು ಫಿಲಿಷ್ಟಿಯರಿಗೆ ಮುಟ್ಟಿದಾಗ ಅವರು ಅವನನ್ನು ಹಿಡಿಯುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಹೊರಟರು. ದಾವೀದನು ಇದನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿ ತಾನೂ ಅವರನ್ನೆದುರಿಸಲು ಹೋದನು. BSB BSB: When the Philistines heard that David had been anointed king over all Israel, they all went in search of him; but David learned of this and went out to face them.
9 ULB ಫಿಲಿಷ್ಟಿಯರು ದೇಶದೊಳಗೆ ನುಗ್ಗಿ, ರೆಫಾಯೀಮ್ ತಗ್ಗಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಸುಲಿಗೆಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು. BSB BSB: Now the Philistines had come and raided the Valley of Rephaim.
10 ULB ದಾವೀದನು ದೇವರಾದ ಯೆಹೋವನನ್ನು, <<ನಾನು ಫಿಲಿಷ್ಟಿಯರಿಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ಹೋಗಬಹುದೋ? ಅವರನ್ನು ನನ್ನ ಕೈಗೆ ಒಪ್ಪಿಸಿಕೊಡುವಿಯೋ>> ಎಂದು ಕೇಳಿದನು. ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಯೆಹೋವನು, <<ಹೋಗು ನಾನು ಅವರನ್ನು ನಿನ್ನ ಕೈಗೆ ಒಪ್ಪಿಸುವೆನು>> ಎಂದು ಉತ್ತರ ಕೊಟ್ಟನು. BSB BSB: So David inquired of God, “Should I go up against the Philistines? Will You deliver them into my hand?” “Go,” replied the LORD, “for I will deliver them into your hand.”
11 ULB ಅಷ್ಟರಲ್ಲಿ ಬಾಳ್ ಪೆರಾಚೀಮಿಗೆ ಬಂದ ಅವರನ್ನು ದಾವೀದನು ಸೋಲಿಸಿ, <<ಯೆಹೋವನು ಕಟ್ಟೆಯೊಡೆದ ಪ್ರವಾಹದಂತೆ ನನ್ನ ಶತ್ರುಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ಬಿದ್ದು ಅವರನ್ನು ನನ್ನ ಮುಖಾಂತರವಾಗಿ ನಾಶಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾನೆ>> ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದ್ದರಿಂದ ಆ ಯುದ್ಧ ಸ್ಥಳಕ್ಕೆ ಬಾಳ್ ಪೆರಾಚೀಮ್ ಎಂದು ಹೆಸರಾಯಿತು. BSB BSB: So David and his men went up to Baal-perazim, where he defeated the Philistines and said, “Like a bursting flood, God has burst out against my enemies by my hand.” So they called that place Baal-perazim.
12 ULB ಫಿಲಿಷ್ಟಿಯರು ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಬಿಟ್ಟುಹೋಗಿದ್ದ ದೇವರುಗಳನ್ನು ಸುಟ್ಟುಬಿಡುವಂತೆ ದಾವೀದನು ಅಪ್ಪಣೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟನು. BSB BSB: There the Philistines abandoned their gods, and David ordered that they be burned in the fire.
13 ULB ಫಿಲಿಷ್ಟಿಯರು ಮತ್ತೊಮ್ಮೆ ಬಂದು ಅದೇ ತಗ್ಗಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಸುಲಿಗೆಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು. BSB BSB: Once again the Philistines raided the valley.
14 ULB ದಾವೀದನು ಪುನಃ ದೇವರ ಸನ್ನಿಧಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ವಿಚಾರಿಸಿದಾಗ ಯೆಹೋವನು ಅವನಿಗೆ, <<ನೀನು ಅವರನ್ನು ಬೆನ್ನಟ್ಟಬೇಡ, ಅವರ ಎದುರುಗಡೆಯಿಂದ ದಾಳಿಮಾಡದೆ ಹಿಂತಿರುಗಿ ಹೋಗಿ ಬಾಕಾಮರಗಳಿರುವ ಕಡೆಯಿಂದ ಅವರ ಮೇಲೆ ದಾಳಿಮಾಡು. BSB BSB: So David again inquired of God, who answered him, “Do not march up after them, but circle around them and attack them in front of the balsam trees.
15 ULB ಬಾಕಾಮರಗಳ ತುದಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹೆಜ್ಜೆಗಳ ಶಬ್ದವು ಕೇಳಿಸುವಾಗಲೇ ದೇವರು ಫಿಲಿಷ್ಟಿಯರ ಸೈನ್ಯವನ್ನು ಸೋಲಿಸುವುದಕ್ಕೋಸ್ಕರ ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಮುನ್ನಡೆಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾನೆ ಎಂದು ತಿಳಿದುಕೊಂಡು ಯುದ್ಧಕ್ಕೆ ಹೊರಡು>> ಎಂದನು. BSB BSB: As soon as you hear the sound of marching in the tops of the balsam trees, move out to battle, because this will mean that God has gone out before you to strike the camp of the Philistines.”
16 ULB ದಾವೀದನು ದೇವರ ಆಜ್ಞಾನುಸಾರವಾಗಿ ಮಾಡಿದನು. ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರು ಫಿಲಿಷ್ಟಿಯರ ಸೈನ್ಯವನ್ನು ಗಿಬ್ಯೋನಿನಿಂದ ಗೆಜೆರಿನ ವರೆಗೂ ಸಂಹರಿಸುತ್ತಾ ಹೋದರು. BSB BSB: So David did as God had commanded him, and they struck down the army of the Philistines all the way from Gibeon to Gezer.
17 ULB ದಾವೀದನ ಕೀರ್ತಿಯು ಎಲ್ಲಾ ದೇಶಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಹಬ್ಬಿತು. ಯೆಹೋವನು ಅವನಿಗೆ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಜನಾಂಗಗಳೂ ಹೆದರಿ ನಡೆಯುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡಿದನು. BSB BSB: And David’s fame went out into every land, and the LORD caused all nations to fear him.
