1ದೇವಾಲಯದ ದ್ವಾರಪಾಲಕ ವರ್ಗಗಳ ವಿಷಯ: ಕೋರಹೀಯನಾದ ಮೆಷೆಲೆಮ್ಯ ಎಂಬವನು, ಕೊರೇಯನ ಮಗ ಹಾಗೂ ಆಸಾಫನ ಮೊಮ್ಮಗ.These were the divisions of the gatekeepers: From the Korahites: Meshelemiah son of Kore, one of the sons of Asaph.

2ಮೆಷೆಲೆಮ್ಯನ ಮಕ್ಕಳಲ್ಲಿ ಜೆಕೆರ್ಯನು ಚೊಚ್ಚಲ ಮಗ, ಎದೀಯಯೇಲನು ಎರಡನೆಯವನು, ಜೆಬೆದ್ಯನು ಮೂರನೆಯವನು, ಯೆತ್ನಿಯೇಲನು ನಾಲ್ಕನೆಯವನು.Meshelemiah had sons: Zechariah the firstborn, Jediael the second, Zebadiah the third, Jathniel the fourth,

3ಏಲಾಮನು ಐದನೆಯವನು, ಯೆಹೋಹಾನಾನನು ಆರನೆಯವನು, ಎಲ್ಯೆಹೋಯೇನೈ ಏಳನೆಯವನು.Elam the fifth, Jehohanan the sixth, and Eliehoenai the seventh.

4ಓಬೇದೆದೋಮನ ಮಕ್ಕಳಲ್ಲಿ ಶೆಮಾಯನು ಚೊಚ್ಚಲನು, ಯೆಹೋಜಾಬಾದನು ಎರಡನೆಯವನು. ಯೋವಾಹನು ಮೂರನೆಯವನು, ಸಾಕಾರನು ನಾಲ್ಕನೆಯವನು, ನೆತನೇಲನು ಐದನೆಯವನು,And Obed-edom also had sons: Shemaiah the firstborn, Jehozabad the second, Joah the third, Sachar the fourth, Nethanel the fifth,

5ಅಮ್ಮೀಯೇಲನು ಆರನೆಯವನು, ಇಸ್ಸಾಕಾರನು ಏಳನೆಯವನು, ಪೆಯುಲ್ಲೆತೈಯು ಎಂಟನೆಯವನು. ಓಬೇದೆದೋಮನು ದೇವರ ಆಶೀರ್ವಾದಕ್ಕೆ ಪಾತ್ರನಾಗಿದ್ದನಷ್ಟೆ.Ammiel the sixth, Issachar the seventh, and Peullethai the eighth. For God had blessed Obed-edom.

6ಅವನ ಮಗನಾದ ಶೆಮಾಯನ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಗೋತ್ರಪ್ರಧಾನರೂ ಮಹಾಸಮರ್ಥರೂ ಆಗಿದ್ದರು.Also to his son Shemaiah were born sons who ruled over their families because they were strong, capable men.

7ಅವರು ಯಾರೆಂದರೆ: ಒತ್ನೀ, ರೆಫಾಯೇಲ್, ಓಬೇದ್ ಮತ್ತು ಎಲ್ಜಾಬಾದ್. ಇವರೂ ಬಹುಸಮರ್ಥರಾದ ಎಲೀಹು, ಸೆಮಕ್ಯ ಎಂಬುವವರು ಇವರ ಸಹೋದರರು.Shemaiah’s sons were Othni, Rephael, Obed, and Elzabad; his brothers were Elihu and Semachiah, also capable men.

8ಇವರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಓಬೇದೆದೋಮನ ಸಂತಾನದವರು. ಇವರು, ಇವರ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಸಮರ್ಥರೂ, ಸೇವೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಗಟ್ಟಿಗರೂ ಆಗಿದ್ದವರೂ. ಇವರೂ ಇವರ ಸಹೋದರರೂ ಕೂಡಿ ಅರವತ್ತೆರಡು ಜನರು.All these were descendants of Obed-edom; they and their sons and brothers were capable men with strength to do the work—62 in all from Obed-edom.

9ಮೆಷೆಲೆಮ್ಯನ ಮಕ್ಕಳೂ ಮತ್ತು ಸಹೋದರರೂ ಹದಿನೆಂಟು ಜನರು. ಇವರೂ ಸಮರ್ಥರಾಗಿದ್ದರು.Meshelemiah also had sons and brothers who were capable men—18 in all.

10ಮೆರಾರೀಯನಾದ ಹೋಸನಿಗೂ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿದ್ದರು; ಅವರಲ್ಲಿ ಶಿಮ್ರಿ ಎಂಬುವವನು ಪ್ರಧಾನನಾಗಿದ್ದನು. ಇವನು ಚೊಚ್ಚಲ ಮಗನಲ್ಲದಿದ್ದರೂ ಅವನ ತಂದೆಯು ಅವನನ್ನೇ ಪ್ರಧಾನನನ್ನಾಗಿ ನೇಮಿಸಿದನು.Hosah the Merarite also had sons: Shimri the first (although he was not the firstborn, his father had appointed him as the first),

11ಹಿಲ್ಕೀಯನು ಎರಡನೆಯವನು, ಟೆಬಲ್ಯನು ಮೂರನೆಯವನು, ಜೆಕರ್ಯನು ನಾಲ್ಕನೆಯವನು. ಹೋಸನ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಸಹೋದರರೂ ಒಟ್ಟಿಗೆ ಹದಿಮೂರು ಜನರು.Hilkiah the second, Tebaliah the third, and Zechariah the fourth. The sons and brothers of Hosah numbered 13 in all.

12ಈ ದ್ವಾರಪಾಲಕರ ವರ್ಗಗಳು ಪ್ರಧಾನಪುರುಷರು ತಮ್ಮ ಕುಲಬಂಧುಗಳಂತೆ ಯೆಹೋವನ ಆಲಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಸೇವೆಮಾಡುವವರಾಗಿದ್ದರು.These divisions of the gatekeepers, through their chief men, had duties for ministering in the house of the LORD, just as their relatives did.

13ಅವರು ಕನಿಷ್ಠ ಕುಟುಂಬವೆಂದೂ, ಶ್ರೇಷ್ಠ ಕುಟುಂಬವೆಂದೂ ವ್ಯತ್ಯಾಸ ಮಾಡದೆ ತಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಬ್ಬನು ಕಾಯತಕ್ಕ ಹೆಬ್ಬಾಗಿಲುಗಳನ್ನು ಚೀಟಿನಿಂದಲೇ ಗೊತ್ತುಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡರು.They cast lots for each gate, according to their families, young and old alike.

14ಪೂರ್ವ ದಿಕ್ಕಿನ ಕಾವಲಿಗೆ ಚೀಟು ಶೆಲೆಮ್ಯನ ಹೆಸರಿಗೆ ಬಿದ್ದಿತು. ಬಹು ವಿವೇಕವುಳ್ಳ ಸಲಹೆಗಾರನಾಗಿರುವ ಅವನ ಮಗನಾದ ಜೆಕೆರ್ಯನ ಹೆಸರಿಗೆ ಉತ್ತರ ದಿಕ್ಕಿನ ಚೀಟು ಬಿದ್ದಿತು.The lot for the East Gate fell to Shelemiah. Then lots were cast for his son Zechariah, a wise counselor, and the lot for the North Gate fell to him.

15ಓಬೇದೆದೋಮನಿಗೆ ದಕ್ಷಿಣದ ಬಾಗಿಲು, ಅವನ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೆ ಉಗ್ರಾಣ ಮಂದಿರವೂ,The lot for the South Gate fell to Obed-edom, and the lot for the storehouses to his sons.

16ಶುಪ್ಪೀಮ್ ಮತ್ತು ಹೋಸ ಎಂಬುವರಿಗೆ ಪಶ್ಚಿಮದ ಬಾಗಿಲೂ ಅದರ ಸಮೀಪದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಶಲ್ಲೆಕೆತ್ ಎಂಬ ಬಾಗಿಲು ಚೀಟಿನಿಂದ ನೇಮಕವಾದವು. ಶೆಲ್ಲೆಕೆತ್ ಬಾಗಿಲು ಪಟ್ಟಣದಿಂದ ದೇವಾಲಯಕ್ಕೆ ಏರಿಹೋಗುವ ದಾರಿಯಲ್ಲಿದೆ.The lots for the West Gate and the Shallecheth Gate on the ascending highway fell to Shuppim and Hosah. There were guards stationed at every watch.

17ಲೇವಿಯರಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರತಿದಿನವೂ ಪೂರ್ವದಿಕ್ಕಿನ ಬಾಗಿಲನ್ನು ಆರು ಜನರು, ದಕ್ಷಿಣ ಬಾಗಿಲನ್ನು ನಾಲ್ಕು ಜನರು, ಉಗ್ರಾಣ ಮಂದಿರದ ಎರಡು ಬಾಗಿಲನ್ನು ಇಬ್ಬಿಬ್ಬರು,Each day there were six Levites on the east, four on the north, four on the south, and two pairs at the storehouse.

18ಪರ್ಬರೆಂಬ ಕಟ್ಟಡವಿರುವ ಪಶ್ಚಿಮ ದಿಕ್ಕಿನ ದಾರಿ ಬಾಗಿಲನ್ನು ನಾಲ್ಕು ಜನರು, ಪರ್ಬರನ್ನು ಇಬ್ಬರು ಕಾಯುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು.As for the court on the west, there were four at the highway and two at the court.

19ಕೋರಹೀಯರ ಮತ್ತು ಮೆರಾರೀಯರ ದ್ವಾರಪಾಲಕರ ವರ್ಗಗಳು ಇವೇ.These were the divisions of the gatekeepers who were descendants of Korah and Merari.

20ಲೇವಿಯನಾದ ಅಹೀಯನು ಮೇಲೆ ಹೇಳಿರುವವರ ಕುಲಬಂಧುಗಳೂ, ದೇವಾಲಯದ ಭಂಡಾರ, ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧ ವಸ್ತುಗಳ ಭಂಡಾರ ಇವುಗಳನ್ನು ಕಾಯುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು.Now their fellow Levites were in charge of the treasuries of the house of God and the treasuries of the dedicated things.

21ಗೇರ್ಷೋಮನಿಗೆ ಹುಟ್ಟಿದ ಲದ್ದಾನ ಸಂತಾನದವರಾದ ಲದ್ದಾನ್ಯ ಕುಟುಂಬಗಳ ಪ್ರಧಾನರಲ್ಲಿ ಯೆಹೀಯೇಲೀ ಮತ್ತು ಅವನ ಮಕ್ಕಳು,From the descendants of Ladan, who were Gershonites through Ladan and heads of the families of Ladan the Gershonite, were Jehieli,

22ಯೆಹೀಯೇಲ್ಯರಾದ ಜೇತಾಮನೂ ಮತ್ತು ಅವನ ತಮ್ಮನಾದ ಯೋವೇಲನು ಯೆಹೋವನ ಆಲಯದ ಭಂಡಾರಗಳನ್ನು ಕಾಯುವವರಾಗಿದ್ದರು.the sons of Jehieli, Zetham, and his brother Joel. They were in charge of the treasuries of the house of the LORD.

23ಅಮ್ರಾಮ್, ಇಚ್ಹಾರ್, ಹೆಬ್ರೋನ್ ಮತ್ತು ಉಜ್ಜೀಯೇಲ್,From the Amramites, the Izharites, the Hebronites, and the Uzzielites:

24ಇವರ ಸಂತಾನದವರಲ್ಲಿ ಗೇರ್ಷೋಮನ ಮಗನೂ ಮೋಶೆಯ ಮೊಮ್ಮಗನೂ ಆಗಿರುವ ಶೆಬೂವೇಲನು ಭಂಡಾರಗಳನ್ನು ಕಾಯುವವರ ಮುಖ್ಯಸ್ಥನಾಗಿದ್ದನು.Shebuel, a descendant of Gershom son of Moses, was the officer in charge of the treasuries.

25ಎಲೀಯೆಜೆರನ ಮಗ ರೆಹಬ್ಯ, ರೆಹಬ್ಯನ ಮಗ ಯೆಶಾಯ ಯೆಶಾಯನ ಮಗ ಯೋರಾಮ ಯೋರಾಮನ ಮಗ ಜಿಕ್ರೀ ಜಿಕ್ರೀಯನ ಮಗ ಶೆಲೋಮೋತನು.His relatives through Eliezer included Rehabiah his son, Jeshaiah his son, Joram his son, Zichri his son, and Shelomith his son.

27ಇವರು ಯೆಹೋವನ ಆಲಯದ ವೃದ್ಧಿಗೋಸ್ಕರ ತಮಗೆ ಯುದ್ಧದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಿಕ್ಕಿದ ಕೊಳ್ಳೆಯ ಒಂದು ಭಾಗವನ್ನು ಯೆಹೋವನಿಗೆಂದು ಮುಡುಪಾಗಿ ಇಟ್ಟರು.They had dedicated some of the plunder from their battles to the repair of the house of the LORD.

28ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ದೇವ ದರ್ಶಿಯಾದ ಸಮುವೇಲನೂ, ಕೀಷನ ಮಗನಾದ ಸೌಲನೂ, ನೇರನ ಮಗನಾದ ಅಬ್ನೇರನೂ, ಚೆರೂಯಳ ಮಗನಾದ ಯೋವಾಬನೂ ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಮಾಡಿದರು. ಈ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಪ್ರತಿಷ್ಠಿತವಾದದ್ದೆಲ್ಲವೂ ಶೆಲೋಮೋತನ ಮತ್ತು ಅವನ ಸಹೋದರರ ವಶದಲ್ಲಿತ್ತು.Everything that had been dedicated by Samuel the seer, Saul son of Kish, Abner son of Ner, and Joab son of Zeruiah, along with everything else that was dedicated, was under the care of Shelomith and his brothers.

29ಇಚ್ಹಾರ್ಯರಲ್ಲಿ ಕೆನನ್ಯನೂ ಅವನ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಲೌಕೀಕೋದ್ಯೋಗದಲ್ಲಿದ್ದರು. ಅವರು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳೂ ಮತ್ತು ನ್ಯಾಯಾಧಿಪತಿಗಳೂ ಆಗಿದ್ದರು.From the Izharites, Chenaniah and his sons had the outside duties as officers and judges over Israel.

30ಹೆಬ್ರೋನ್ಯರಲ್ಲಿ ಹಷಬ್ಯನೂ ಅವನ ಸಹೋದರರೂ ಯೊರ್ದನ್ ಹೊಳೆಯ ಪಶ್ಚಿಮ ಪ್ರಾಂತ್ಯಗಳಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ಯರೊಳಗೆ ಯೆಹೋವನ ಸೇವೆಯ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಕಾರ್ಯಗಳನ್ನೂ ಮತ್ತು ರಾಜಕೀಯ ಕಾರ್ಯಗಳನ್ನೂ ನಡೆಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು. ಸಮರ್ಥರಾದ ಅವರು ಸಾವಿರದ ಏಳುನೂರು ಜನರು.From the Hebronites, Hashabiah and his relatives, 1,700 capable men, had charge of the affairs of Israel west of the Jordan for all the work of the LORD and for the service of the king.

31ದಾವೀದನ ಆಳ್ವಿಕೆಯ ನಲವತ್ತನೆಯ ವರ್ಷದಲ್ಲಿ ಹೆಬ್ರೋನ್ಯರಿಗೆ ಸೇರಿದವರು ಯಾರಾರೆಂದು ವಿಚಾರಣೆ ನಡೆಸಿದಾಗ ಗಿಲ್ಯಾದಿನ ಯಾಜೇರಿನ ಶ್ರೀಮಂತರಿಗೆ ಅನೇಕರು ಅವರ ಗೋತ್ರದವರಾಗಿರುತ್ತಾರೆಂದು ಗೊತ್ತಾಯಿತು. ಈ ಹೆಬ್ರೋನ್ಯರಲ್ಲಿ ಯೆರೀಯನು ಪ್ರಧಾನನು.As for the Hebronites, Jerijah was the chief of the Hebronites, according to the genealogies of his ancestors. In the fortieth year of David’s reign the records were searched, and strong, capable men were found among the Hebronites at Jazer in Gilead.

32ಶ್ರೀಮಂತರೂ ಕುಟುಂಬ ಪ್ರಧಾನರೂ ಆದ ಅವನ ಗೋತ್ರಬಂಧುಗಳು ಎರಡು ಸಾವಿರದ ಏಳುನೂರು ಜನರು. ಅರಸನಾದ ದಾವೀದನು ರೂಬೇನ್, ಗಾದ್ ಅರ್ಧಮನಸ್ಸೆ ಕುಲಗಳವರ ಮೇಲೆ ಇವರನ್ನೇ ದೈವಿಕ ಕಾರ್ಯಗಳಲ್ಲಿಯೂ, ರಾಜಕೀಯ ಕಾರ್ಯಗಳಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳನ್ನಾಗಿ ನೇಮಿಸಿದನು.Among Jerijah’s relatives there were 2,700 capable men who were heads of families. King David appointed them over the Reubenites, the Gadites, and the half-tribe of Manasseh for every matter pertaining to God and for the affairs of the king.
