9 ULB ಯಾಕೆಂದರೆ ಸೇವೆಗೆ ಅನುಕೂಲವೂ, ಸಫಲವೂ ಆಗಿರುವ ಹೆಬ್ಬಾಗಿಲೊಂದು ನನಗಾಗಿ ತೆರೆಯಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿದೆ. ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ವಿರೋಧಿಗಳೂ ಅನೇಕರಿದ್ದಾರೆ. BSB BSB: because a great door for effective work has opened to me, even though many oppose me.

16 ULB ನಾನು ನಿಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿ ಬೇಡುವುದೇನಂದರೆ, ಸೇವೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಮಗೆ ಸಹಾಯಮಾಡುವ ಹಾಗೂ ಪ್ರಯಾಸಪಡುವವರೆಲ್ಲರಿಗೂ ನೀವು ಅಧೀನರಾಗಿರಬೇಕು. BSB BSB: to submit to such as these, and to every fellow worker and laborer.
17 ULB ಸ್ತೆಫನನೂ, ಪೊರ್ತುನಾತೊಸನೂ, ಅಖಾಯಿಕನೂ ಬಂದದ್ದು ನನಗೆ ಸಂತೋಷವನ್ನುಂಟುಮಾಡಿದೆ. ನಿಮ್ಮಿಂದ ಆಗಿರುವ ಕೊರತೆಯನ್ನು ಅವರು ನೀಗಿಸಿರುವರು. BSB BSB: I am glad that Stephanas, Fortunatus, and Achaicus have arrived, because they have supplied what was lacking from you.
