1 ULB ಸೊಲೊಮೋನನು ಇಪ್ಪತ್ತು ವರ್ಷಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಯೆಹೋವನ ಆಲಯವನ್ನೂ ಮತ್ತು ತನ್ನ ಅರಮನೆಯನ್ನೂ ಕಟ್ಟಿಸಿ ಮುಗಿಸಿದನು. BSB BSB: Now at the end of the twenty years during which Solomon had built the house of the LORD and his own palace,
2 ULB ಸೊಲೊಮೋನನು ಹೂರಾಮನಿಂದ ತನಗೆ ದೊರಕಿದ ಪಟ್ಟಣವನ್ನು ಪುನಃ ಕಟ್ಟಿಸಿ ಅವುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರು ವಾಸಿಸುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡಿದನು. BSB BSB: Solomon rebuilt the cities Hiram had given him and settled Israelites there.
3 ULB ಅನಂತರ ಸೊಲೊಮೋನನು ಚೋಬ ರಾಜ್ಯದ ಹಮಾತಿಗೆ ಬಂದು ಅದನ್ನು ಸ್ವಾಧೀನಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡನು. BSB BSB: Then Solomon went to Hamath-zobah and captured it.
4 ULB ಮರುಭೂಮಿಯಲ್ಲಿರುವ ತದ್ಮೋರ್ ಪಟ್ಟಣವನ್ನೂ ಹಮಾತಿನಲ್ಲಿ ತಾನು ಕಟ್ಟಿಸಿದ್ದ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಉಗ್ರಾಣದ ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳನ್ನೂ ಭದ್ರಪಡಿಸಿದನು. BSB BSB: He built Tadmor in the wilderness, in addition to all the store cities that he had built in Hamath.
5 ULB ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಮೇಲಿನ ಮತ್ತು ಕೆಳಗಿನ ಬೇತ್ಹೋರೋನ್ ಎಂಬ ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳಿಗೆ ಪೌಳಿಗೋಡೆ, ಬಾಗಿಲು, ಅಗುಳಿ ಇವುಗಳನ್ನು ಸಿದ್ಧಪಡಿಸಿ ಕೋಟೆಗಳನ್ನಾಗಿ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡನು. BSB BSB: He rebuilt Upper and Lower Beth-horon as fortified cities with walls, gates, and bars,
6 ULB ಬಾಲಾತೊರು ಮತ್ತು ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಉಗ್ರಾಣದ ಪಟ್ಟಣ, ಯುದ್ಧರಥಗಳನ್ನಿರಿಸುವ ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳನ್ನೂ, ರಾಹುತರ ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳನ್ನೂ ಸೊಲೊಮೋನನು ಕಟ್ಟಿಸಿದನು. ಅಲ್ಲದೆ ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನಲ್ಲಿಯೂ, ಲೆಬನೋನಿನಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ತನ್ನ ರಾಜ್ಯದ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಪ್ರಾಂತ್ಯಗಳಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ತನಗೆ ಇಷ್ಟವಾದವುಗಳನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಕಟ್ಟಿಸಿದನು. BSB BSB: as well as Baalath, all the store cities that belonged to Solomon, and all the cities for his chariots and horses—whatever he desired to build in Jerusalem, Lebanon, and throughout the land of his dominion.
7 ULB ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರಿಂದ ಸಂಹೃತರಾಗದೆ, ಕಾನಾನ್ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಉಳಿದಿದ್ದ ಹಿತ್ತಿಯ, ಅಮೋರಿಯ, ಪೆರಿಜೀಯ, ಹಿವ್ವಿಯ, ಯೆಬೂಸಿಯ, BSB BSB: As for all the people who remained of the Hittites, Amorites, Perizzites, Hivites, and Jebusites (these people were not Israelites)—
8 ULB ಮೊದಲಾದ ಅನ್ಯ ಜನಾಂಗಗಳನ್ನು, ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ಯರು ನಾಶಮಾಡದೆ ಉಳಿಸಿದ ಸಂತಾನದವರೆಲ್ಲರನ್ನೂ ಸೊಲೊಮೋನನು ಬಿಟ್ಟಿ ಕೆಲಸಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ನೇಮಿಸಿದನು. ಅವರು ಇಂದಿನವರೆಗೂ ಬಿಟ್ಟಿ ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡುವವರಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ. 9 ULB ಆದರೆ ಸೊಲೊಮೋನನು ಬಿಟ್ಟಿ ಕೆಲಸಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರನ್ನು ನೇಮಕ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಅವರನ್ನು ಸೈನಿಕರನ್ನಾಗಿಯೂ, ಅಧಿಪತಿಗಳನ್ನಾಗಿಯೂ, ಸರದಾರರನ್ನಾಗಿಯೂ, ರಥಾಶ್ವಬಲಗಳ ನಾಯಕರನ್ನಾಗಿಯೂ ನೇಮಿಸಿಕೊಂಡನು. BSB BSB: But Solomon did not consign any of the Israelites to slave labor, because they were his men of war, the leaders of his captains, and the commanders of his chariots and cavalry.
10 ULB ಈ ಇನ್ನೂರೈವತ್ತು ಮಂದಿ ಅರಸನಾದ ಸೊಲೊಮೋನನ ಮುಖ್ಯಾಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳೂ, ಪ್ರಜೆಗಳ ಮೇಲ್ವಿಚಾರಕರೂ ಆಗಿದ್ದರು. BSB BSB: They were also the chief officers for King Solomon: 250 supervisors.
11 ULB ಸೊಲೊಮೋನನು, <<ಯಾವ ಯಾವ ಸ್ಥಳಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಯೆಹೋವನ ಮಂಜೂಷವಿತ್ತೋ ಅವೆಲ್ಲವೂ ಪವಿತ್ರಸ್ಥಾನಗಳು. ಆದುದರಿಂದ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರ ಅರಸನಾದ ದಾವೀದನ ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಫರೋಹನ ಪುತ್ರಿಯಾದ ನನ್ನ ಹೆಂಡತಿಯು ವಾಸಿಸಬಾರದು>> ಅಂದುಕೊಂಡು ಆಕೆಯನ್ನು ದಾವೀದನಗರದಲ್ಲಿರಿಸದೆ, ತಾನು ಆಕೆಗಾಗಿ ಕಟ್ಟಿಸಿದ ಮಂದಿರಕ್ಕೆ ಕರೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಬಂದನು. BSB BSB: Solomon brought the daughter of Pharaoh up from the City of David to the palace he had built for her. For he said, “My wife must not live in the house of David king of Israel, because the places the ark of the LORD has entered are holy.”
12 ULB ಆ ಕಾಲದಿಂದ ಸೊಲೊಮೋನನು, ತಾನು ಮಂಟಪದ ಮುಂದೆ ಕಟ್ಟಿಸಿದ ಯೆಹೋವನ ಯಜ್ಞವೇದಿಯ ಮೇಲೆ, BSB BSB: At that time Solomon offered burnt offerings to the LORD on the altar of the LORD he had built in front of the portico.
13 ULB ಮೋಶೆಯ ಆಜ್ಞೆಯಂತೆ ಸಬ್ಬತ್ ದಿನ, ಅಮಾವಾಸ್ಯೆ, ವಾರೋತ್ಸವ ಜಾತ್ರೆ ಇವುಗಳಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಹುಳಿಯಿಲ್ಲದ ರೊಟ್ಟಿಗಳ ಹಬ್ಬ, ಪಂಚಾಶತ್ತಮ ದಿನದ ಹಬ್ಬ, ಪರ್ಣಶಾಲೆ ಹಬ್ಬ ಎಂಬ ಮೂರು ವಾರ್ಷಿಕ ಹಬ್ಬಗಳಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಆಯಾ ದಿನಗಳಿಗೆ ನೇಮಕವಾದ ಯಜ್ಞಗಳನ್ನು ಸಮರ್ಪಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದನು. BSB BSB: He observed the daily requirement for offerings according to the commandment of Moses for Sabbaths, New Moons, and the three annual appointed feasts—the Feast of Unleavened Bread, the Feast of Weeks, and the Feast of Tabernacles.
14 ULB ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ, ತನ್ನ ತಂದೆಯಾದ ದಾವೀದನ ಆಜ್ಞೆಗೆ ಅನುಸಾರವಾಗಿ ಯಾಜಕ ವರ್ಗಗಳನ್ನೂ, ಲೇವಿಯರನ್ನೂ ಅವರವರ ಸೇವಾವೃತ್ತಿಗೆ ನೇಮಿಸಿದನು. ಲೇವಿಯರು ಆಯಾ ದಿನದ ನೇಮದ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ದೇವರನ್ನು ಸ್ತುತಿಸಲು, ಯಾಜಕರ ಕೈಕೆಳಗೆ ಸೇವೆಮಾಡುತ್ತಲೂ ದ್ವಾರಪಾಲಕರು ತಮ್ಮ ತಮ್ಮ ವರ್ಗಗಳ ಸರದಿಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಆಯಾ ಬಾಗಿಲುಗಳನ್ನು ಕಾಯುತ್ತಲೂ ಇರಬೇಕಾಗಿತ್ತು. ದೇವರ ಮನುಷ್ಯನಾದ ದಾವೀದ ರಾಜನ ಅಪ್ಪಣೆ ಇದೇ ಆಗಿತ್ತು. BSB BSB: In keeping with the ordinances of his father David, Solomon appointed the divisions of the priests over their service, and the Levites for their duties to offer praise and to minister before the priests according to the daily requirement. He also appointed gatekeepers by their divisions at each gate, for this had been the command of David, the man of God.
15 ULB ರಾಜನು ಯಾಜಕರನ್ನೂ, ಲೇವಿಯರನ್ನೂ, ಭಂಡಾರಗಳನ್ನೂ ಕುರಿತು ಕೊಟ್ಟ ಅಪ್ಪಣೆಯನ್ನು ಅವರು ಸ್ವಲ್ಪವಾದರೂ ಮೀರಲಿಲ್ಲ. BSB BSB: They did not turn aside from the king’s command regarding the priests or the Levites in any matter, including that of the treasuries.
16 ULB ಈ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಆಸ್ತಿವಾರ ಮೊದಲುಗೊಂಡು ಸಮಾಪ್ತಿಯವರೆಗೂ ಸೊಲೊಮೋನನ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಕೆಲಸ ಕಾರ್ಯಗಳೂ ಮುಗಿದು ಯೆಹೋವನ ಆಲಯವು ಪೂರ್ಣಗೊಂಡಿತ್ತು. BSB BSB: Thus all the work of Solomon was carried out, from the day the foundation was laid for the house of the LORD until it was finished. So the house of the LORD was completed.
17 ULB ಆನಂತರ, ಸೊಲೊಮೋನನು ಎದೋಮ್ ದೇಶದ ಸಮುದ್ರ ತೀರದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಎಚ್ಯೋನ್ಗೆಬೆರ್ ಹಾಗೂ ಏಲೋತ್ ಎಂಬ ಊರುಗಳಿಗೆ ಹೋದನು. BSB BSB: Then Solomon went to Ezion-geber and to Eloth on the coast of Edom.
18 ULB ಹೂರಾಮನು ಅವನಿಗೆ ತನ್ನ ಆಳುಗಳ ಮುಖಾಂತರ ಹಡುಗುಗಳನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದ್ದಲ್ಲದೆ, ಸಮುದ್ರ ಪ್ರಯಾಣದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಪುಣರಾದ ನಾವಿಕರನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದನು. ಅವರು ಸೊಲೊಮೋನನ ಸೇವಕರೊಡನೆ ಓಫೀರಿಗೆ ಪ್ರಯಾಣಮಾಡಿ ಅಲ್ಲಿಂದ ಅರಸನಾದ ಸೊಲೊಮೋನನಿಗೆ ನಾನೂರೈವತ್ತು ತಲಾಂತು ಬಂಗಾರವನ್ನು ತಂದುಕೊಟ್ಟರು. They went with Solomon’s servants to Ophir and acquired from there 450 talents of gold, which they delivered to King Solomon.
