2 Kings 15 (ULB)

1ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರ ಅರಸನಾದ ಯಾರೊಬ್ಬಾಮನ ಆಳ್ವಿಕೆಯ ಇಪ್ಪತ್ತೇಳನೆಯ ವರ್ಷದಲ್ಲಿ ಅಮಚ್ಯನ ಮಗನಾದ ಅಜರ್ಯನು ಯೆಹೂದದ ಅರಸನಾದನು.In the twenty-seventh year of Jeroboam’s reign over Israel, Azariah son of Amaziah became king of Judah.

2ಅಜರ್ಯನು ಪಟ್ಟಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದಾಗ ಅವನು ಹದಿನಾರು ವರ್ಷದವನಾಗಿದ್ದು ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಐವತ್ತೆರಡು ವರ್ಷಗಳ ಕಾಲ ಆಳಿದನು. ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನವಳಾದ ಯೆಕೊಲ್ಯ ಎಂಬಾಕೆ ಇವನ ತಾಯಿ.He was sixteen years old when he became king, and he reigned in Jerusalem fifty-two years. His mother’s name was Jecoliah; she was from Jerusalem.

3ಅಜರ್ಯನು ತನ್ನ ತಂದೆಯಾದ ಅಮಚ್ಯನಂತೆ ಯೆಹೋವನ ದೃಷ್ಟಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಒಳ್ಳೆಯವನಾಗಿ ನಡೆದನು.And he did what was right in the eyes of the LORD, just as his father Amaziah had done.

4ಆದರೆ, ಇವನ ಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಪೂಜಾಸ್ಥಳಗಳು ತೆಗೆಯಲ್ಪಡಲಿಲ್ಲವಾದುದರಿಂದ ಜನರು ಅವುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಯಜ್ಞಧೂಪಗಳನ್ನು ಅರ್ಪಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು.Nevertheless, the high places were not taken away; the people continued sacrificing and burning incense there.

5ಯೆಹೋವನು ಅವನನ್ನು ಕುಷ್ಠರೋಗದಿಂದ ಶಿಕ್ಷಿಸಿದನು. ಆದುದರಿಂದ ಇವನು ಜೀವದಿಂದಿರುವವರೆಗೂ ಪ್ರತ್ಯೇಕವಾದ ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸಮಾಡಬೇಕಾಯಿತು. ರಾಜಗೃಹಾಧಿಪತ್ಯವನ್ನೂ, ಪ್ರಜಾಪಾಲನೆಯನ್ನೂ ಇವನ ಮಗನಾದ ಯೋತಾಮನು ನೋಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಿದ್ದನು.And the LORD afflicted the king with leprosy until the day he died, so that he lived in a separate house while his son Jotham had charge of the palace and governed the people of the land.

6ಅಜರ್ಯನ ಉಳಿದ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಕೃತ್ಯಗಳೂ ಯೆಹೂದ ರಾಜಕಾಲದ ವೃತಾಂತ ಇತಿಹಾಸ ಎಂಬ ಗ್ರಂಥದಲ್ಲಿ ಲಿಖಿತವಾಗಿದೆ.As for the rest of the acts of Azariah, along with all his accomplishments, are they not written in the Book of the Chronicles of the Kings of Judah?

7ಅಜರ್ಯನು ಪೂರ್ವಿಕರ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಸೇರಲು ಅವನ ಶವವನ್ನು ದಾವೀದ ನಗರದೊಳಗೆ ರಾಜಕುಟುಂಬದ ಸ್ಮಶಾನಭೂಮಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸಮಾಧಿಮಾಡಿದರು. ಅವನ ನಂತರ ಅವನ ಮಗನಾದ ಯೋತಾಮನು ಅರಸನಾದನು.And Azariah rested with his fathers and was buried near them in the City of David. And his son Jotham reigned in his place.

8ಯೆಹೂದದ ಅರಸನಾದ ಅಜರ್ಯನ ಆಳ್ವಿಕೆಯ ಮೂವತ್ತೆಂಟನೆಯ ವರ್ಷದಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾರೊಬ್ಬಾಮನ ಮಗನಾದ ಜೆಕರ್ಯ ಎಂಬುವವನು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರ ಅರಸನಾಗಿ ಸಮಾರ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಆರು ತಿಂಗಳು ಆಳಿದನು.In the thirty-eighth year of Azariah’s reign over Judah, Zechariah son of Jeroboam became king of Israel, and he reigned in Samaria six months.

9ಅವನು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರನ್ನು ಪಾಪಕ್ಕೆ ಪ್ರೇರೇಪಿಸಿದ ನೆಬಾಟನ ಮಗನಾದ ಯಾರೊಬ್ಬಾಮನ ಮಾರ್ಗವನ್ನು ಬಿಡದೆ ತನ್ನ ಪೂರ್ವಿಕರಂತೆ ಯೆಹೋವನ ದೃಷ್ಟಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ದ್ರೋಹಿಯಾದನು.And he did evil in the sight of the LORD, as his fathers had done. He did not turn away from the sins that Jeroboam son of Nebat had caused Israel to commit.

10ಯಾಬೇಷನ ಮಗನಾದ ಶಲ್ಲೂಮನು ಅವನಿಗೆ ವಿರುದ್ಧವಾಗಿ ಒಳಸಂಚುಮಾಡಿ ಪ್ರಜೆಗಳ ಮುಂದೆಯೇ ಅವನನ್ನು ಕೊಂದು ಅವನಿಗೆ ಬದಲಾಗಿ ತಾನು ಅರಸನಾದನು.Then Shallum son of Jabesh conspired against Zechariah, struck him down and killed him in front of the people, and reigned in his place.

11ಜೆಕರ್ಯನ ಉಳಿದ ಚರಿತ್ರೆಯು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರ ರಾಜಕಾಲ ಇತಿಹಾಸ ಎಂಬ ಗ್ರಂಥದಲ್ಲಿ ಲಿಖಿತವಾಗಿದೆ.As for the rest of the acts of Zechariah, they are indeed written in the Book of the Chronicles of the Kings of Israel.

12<<ನಿನ್ನ ಸಂತಾನದವರು ನಾಲ್ಕನೆಯ ತಲೆಮಾರಿನವರೆಗೂ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರ ಸಿಂಹಾಸನದ ಮೇಲೆ ಕುಳಿತುಕೊಳ್ಳುವರು>> ಎಂಬುದಾಗಿ ಯೆಹೋವನು ಯೇಹುವಿಗೆ ಮುಂತಿಳಿಸಿದ ಮಾತು ನೆರವೇರಿತು.So the word of the LORD spoken to Jehu was fulfilled: “Four generations of your sons will sit on the throne of Israel.”

13ಯೆಹೂದದ ಅರಸನಾದ ಉಜ್ಜೀಯನ ಆಳ್ವಿಕೆಯ ಮೂವತ್ತೊಂಬತ್ತನೆಯ ವರ್ಷದಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾಬೇಷನ ಮಗನಾದ ಶಲ್ಲೂಮನು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರ ಅರಸನಾಗಿ ಸಮಾರ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದು ತಿಂಗಳು ಆಳಿದನು.In the thirty-ninth year of Uzziah’s reign over Judah, Shallum son of Jabesh became king, and he reigned in Samaria one full month.

14ಗಾದಿಯ ಮಗನಾದ ಮೆನಹೇಮನೆಂಬುವನು ತಿರ್ಚದಿಂದ ಸಮಾರ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದು ಅಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ಯಾಬೇಷನ ಮಗನಾದ ಶಲ್ಲೂಮನನ್ನು ಕೊಂದು, ಅವನಿಗೆ ಬದಲಾಗಿ ತಾನು ಅರಸನಾದನು.Then Menahem son of Gadi went up from Tirzah to Samaria, struck down and killed Shallum son of Jabesh, and reigned in his place.

15ಶಲ್ಲೂಮನ ಉಳಿದ ಚರಿತ್ರೆಯೂ ಮತ್ತು ಅವನ ಒಳಸಂಚಿನ ವಿವರವೂ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ ರಾಜಕಾಲ ಇತಿಹಾಸ ಎಂಬ ಗ್ರಂಥದಲ್ಲಿ ಬರೆದು ದಾಖಲಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ.As for the rest of the acts of Shallum, along with the conspiracy he led, they are indeed written in the Book of the Chronicles of the Kings of Israel.

16ಮೆನಹೇಮನು ತಿರ್ಚದಿಂದ ತಿಪ್ಸಹುವಿಗೆ ಹೋದಾಗ ಅಲ್ಲಿಯವರು ತಮ್ಮ ಊರುಬಾಗಿಲನ್ನು ಅವನಿಗೆ ತೆರೆಯಲಿಲ್ಲ, ಆದುದರಿಂದ ಅವನು ಆ ಊರನ್ನು ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಸೇರಿದ ಪ್ರದೇಶವನ್ನೂ ಹಾಳುಮಾಡಿ ಅದರ ನಿವಾಸಿಗಳನ್ನು ಸಂಹರಿಸಿದನು. ಅದರಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಗರ್ಭಿಣಿಗಳ ಹೊಟ್ಟೆಯನ್ನು ಸೀಳಿಹಾಕಿಸಿದನು.At that time Menahem, starting from Tirzah, attacked Tiphsah and everyone in its vicinity, because they would not open their gates. So he attacked Tiphsah and ripped open all the pregnant women.

17ಯೆಹೂದದ ಅರಸನಾದ ಅಜರ್ಯನ ಆಳ್ವಿಕೆಯ ಮೂವತ್ತೊಂಬತ್ತನೆಯ ವರ್ಷದಲ್ಲಿ ಗಾದಿಯ ಮಗನಾದ ಮೆನಹೇಮನು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರ ಅರಸನಾಗಿ ಸಮಾರ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಹತ್ತು ವರ್ಷ ಆಳಿದನು.In the thirty-ninth year of Azariah’s reign over Judah, Menahem son of Gadi became king of Israel, and he reigned in Samaria ten years.

18ಇವನು ಜೀವದಿಂದ ಇರುವವರೆಗೂ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರನ್ನು ಪಾಪಕ್ಕೆ ಪ್ರಚೋದಿಸಿದ ನೆಬಾಟನ ಮಗನಾದ ಯಾರೊಬ್ಬಾಮನ ದುರ್ಮಾರ್ಗವನ್ನು ಬಿಡದೆ ತನ್ನ ಪೂರ್ವಿಕರಂತೆ ಯೆಹೋವನ ದೃಷ್ಟಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ದ್ರೋಹಿಯಾದನು.And he did evil in the sight of the LORD, and throughout his reign he did not turn away from the sins that Jeroboam son of Nebat had caused Israel to commit.

19ಅಶ್ಶೂರ ದೇಶದ ಅರಸನಾದ ಪೂಲನೆಂಬವನು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ ದೇಶಕ್ಕೆ ವಿರುದ್ಧವಾಗಿ ಬಂದಾಗ ಮೆನಹೇಮನು ಅವನ ಮುಖಾಂತರವಾಗಿ ತನ್ನ ಅರಸುತನವನ್ನು ಜನರು ದೃಢಪಡಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದಕ್ಕೋಸ್ಕರ ಅವನಿಗೆ ಸಾವಿರ ತಲಾಂತು ಬೆಳ್ಳಿಯನ್ನು ಕೊಟ್ಟನು.Then Pul king of Assyria invaded the land, and Menahem gave Pul a thousand talents of silver in order to gain his support and strengthen his own grip on the kingdom.

20ಮೆನಹೇಮನು ಅಶ್ಶೂರದ ಅರಸನಿಗೆ ಆ ಹಣವನ್ನು ಕೊಡುವುದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರ ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಬ್ಬ ಐಶ್ವರ್ಯವಂತನಿಂದ ಐವತ್ತು ರೂಪಾಯಿಗಳನ್ನು ವಸೂಲಿಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡನು. ಆ ಹಣವು ಸಿಕ್ಕಿದ ನಂತರ ಅಶ್ಶೂರದ ಅರಸನು ಅಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಲ್ಲದೆ ಹಿಂತಿರುಗಿ ಹೋದನು.Menahem exacted this money from each of the wealthy men of Israel—fifty shekels of silver from each man—to give to the king of Assyria. So the king of Assyria withdrew and did not remain in the land.

21ಮೆನಹೇಮನ ಉಳಿದ ಚರಿತ್ರೆಯೂ, ಅವನ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಕೃತ್ಯಗಳೂ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರ ರಾಜಕಾಲ ಇತಿಹಾಸ ಎಂಬ ಗ್ರಂಥದಲ್ಲಿ ಲಿಖಿತವಾಗಿದೆ.As for the rest of the acts of Menahem, along with all his accomplishments, are they not written in the Book of the Chronicles of the Kings of Israel?

22ಮೆನಹೇಮನು ತನ್ನ ಪೂರ್ವಿಕರ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಸೇರಲು ಅವನ ಮಗನಾದ ಪೆಕಹ್ಯನು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರ ಅರಸನಾದನು.And Menahem rested with his fathers, and his son Pekahiah reigned in his place.

23ಯೆಹೂದದ ಅರಸನಾದ ಅಜರ್ಯನ ಆಳ್ವಿಕೆಯ ಐವತ್ತನೆಯ ವರ್ಷದಲ್ಲಿ ಮೆನಹೇಮನ ಮಗನಾದ ಪೆಕಹ್ಯ ಎಂಬುವವನು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರ ಅರಸನಾಗಿ ಸಮಾರ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಎರಡು ವರ್ಷ ಆಳಿದನು.In the fiftieth year of Azariah’s reign over Judah, Pekahiah son of Menahem became king of Israel and reigned in Samaria two years.

24ಇವನು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರನ್ನು ಪಾಪಕ್ಕೆ ಪ್ರಚೋದಿಸಿದ ನೆಬಾಟನ ಮಗನಾದ ಯಾರೊಬ್ಬಾಮನ ಮಾರ್ಗವನ್ನು ಬಿಡದೆ ಯೆಹೋವನ ದೃಷ್ಟಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ದ್ರೋಹಿಯಾದನು.And he did evil in the sight of the LORD and did not turn away from the sins that Jeroboam son of Nebat had caused Israel to commit.

25ಇವನ ಸರದಾರನೂ, ರೆಮಲ್ಯನ ಮಗನೂ ಆಗಿದ್ದ ಪೆಕಹನು, ಗಿಲ್ಯಾದಿನ ಐವತ್ತು ಮಂದಿ ಜನರನ್ನು ಕೂಡಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಇವನಿಗೆ ವಿರುದ್ಧವಾಗಿ ಒಳಸಂಚು ಮಾಡಿ ಸಮಾರ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಅರಮನೆಯ ಗರ್ಭಗೃಹದಲ್ಲಿ ಇವನನ್ನೂ ಅರ್ಗೋಬ್, ಅರ್ಯೇ ಎಂಬವರನ್ನೂ ಕೊಂದು ಇವನಿಗೆ ಬದಲಾಗಿ ತಾನು ಅರಸನಾದನು.Then his officer, Pekah son of Remaliah, conspired against him along with Argob, Arieh, and fifty men of Gilead. And at the citadel of the king’s palace in Samaria, Pekah struck down and killed Pekahiah and reigned in his place.

26ಪೆಕಹ್ಯನ ಉಳಿದ ಚರಿತ್ರೆಯೂ, ಅವನ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಕೃತ್ಯಗಳೂ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರ ರಾಜಕಾಲ ಇತಿಹಾಸ ಎಂಬ ಗ್ರಂಥದಲ್ಲಿ ಬರೆದು ದಾಖಲಿಸಿದೆ.As for the rest of the acts of Pekahiah, along with all his accomplishments, they are indeed written in the Book of the Chronicles of the Kings of Israel.

27ಯೆಹೂದದ ಅರಸನಾದ ಅಜರ್ಯನ ಆಳ್ವಿಕೆಯ ಐವತ್ತೆರಡನೆಯ ವರ್ಷದಲ್ಲಿ ರೆಮಲ್ಯನ ಮಗನಾದ ಪೆಕಹನು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರ ಅರಸನಾಗಿ ಸಮಾರ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಇಪ್ಪತ್ತು ವರ್ಷ ಆಳಿದನು.In the fifty-second year of Azariah’s reign over Judah, Pekah son of Remaliah became king of Israel, and he reigned in Samaria twenty years.

28ಇವನು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರನ್ನು ಪಾಪಕ್ಕೆ ಪ್ರಚೋದಿಸಿದ ನೆಬಾಟನ ಮಗನಾದ ಯಾರೊಬ್ಬಾಮನ ಮಾರ್ಗವನ್ನು ಬಿಡದೆ ಯೆಹೋವನ ದೃಷ್ಟಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ದ್ರೋಹಿಯಾದನು.And he did evil in the sight of the LORD and did not turn away from the sins that Jeroboam son of Nebat had caused Israel to commit.

29ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರ ಅರಸನಾದ ಪೆಕಹನ ಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಅಶ್ಶೂರ್ ದೇಶದ ಅರಸನಾದ ತಿಗ್ಲತ್ಪಿಲೆಸೆರನೆಂಬುವವನು ಬಂದು ಇಯ್ಯೋನ್, ಆಬೇಲ್ಬೇತ್ಮಾಕಾ, ಯಾನೋಹ, ಕೆದೆಷ್, ಹಾಚೋರ್ ಮೊದಲಾದ ನಫ್ತಾಲಿಯ ಊರುಗಳನ್ನು ಗಿಲ್ಯಾದ್ ಮತ್ತು ಗಲಿಲಾಯ ಪ್ರಾಂತ್ಯಗಳನ್ನೂ ಸ್ವಾಧೀನಪಡಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಅವುಗಳ ನಿವಾಸಿಗಳನ್ನು ಅಶ್ಶೂರ್ ದೇಶಕ್ಕೆ ಸೆರೆಯಾಗಿ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಹೋದನು.In the days of Pekah king of Israel, Tiglath-pileser king of Assyria came and captured Ijon, Abel-beth-maacah, Janoah, Kedesh, Hazor, Gilead, and Galilee, including all the land of Naphtali, and he took the people as captives to Assyria.

30ಆಗ ಏಲನ ಮಗನಾದ ಹೋಶೇಯನು, ರೆಮಲ್ಯನ ಮಗನಾದ ಪೆಕಹನಿಗೆ ವಿರುದ್ಧವಾಗಿ ಒಳಸಂಚು ಮಾಡಿ, ಇವನನ್ನು ಉಜ್ಜೀಯನ ಮಗನಾದ ಯೋತಾಮನ ಆಳ್ವಿಕೆಯ ಇಪ್ಪತ್ತನೆಯ ವರ್ಷದಲ್ಲಿ ಕೊಂದು ಇವನಿಗೆ ಬದಲಾಗಿ ತಾನು ಅರಸನಾದನು.Then Hoshea son of Elah led a conspiracy against Pekah son of Remaliah. In the twentieth year of Jotham son of Uzziah, Hoshea attacked Pekah, killed him, and reigned in his place.

31ಪೆಕಹನ ಉಳಿದ ಚರಿತ್ರೆಯೂ, ಅವನ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಕೃತ್ಯಗಳೂ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರ ರಾಜಕಾಲ ಇತಿಹಾಸ ಎಂಬ ಗ್ರಂಥದಲ್ಲಿ ಬರೆದು ದಾಖಲಿಸಿದೆ.As for the rest of the acts of Pekah, along with all his accomplishments, they are indeed written in the Book of the Chronicles of the Kings of Israel.

32ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರ ಅರಸನೂ, ರೆಮಲ್ಯನ ಮಗನೂ ಆದ ಪೆಕಹನ ಆಳ್ವಿಕೆಯ ಎರಡನೆಯ ವರ್ಷದಲ್ಲಿ ಯೆಹೂದ್ಯರ ಅರಸನಾದ ಉಜ್ಜೀಯನ ಮಗನಾದ ಯೋತಾಮನು ಆಳತೊಡಗಿದನು.In the second year of the reign of Pekah son of Remaliah over Israel, Jotham son of Uzziah became king of Judah.

33ಇವನು ಪಟ್ಟಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದಾಗ ಇಪ್ಪತ್ತೈದು ವರ್ಷದವನಾಗಿದ್ದನು. ಇವನು ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಹದಿನಾರು ವರ್ಷ ಆಳಿದನು. ಚಾದೋಕನ ಮಗಳಾದ ಯೆರೂಷಾ ಇವನ ತಾಯಿ.He was twenty-five years old when he became king, and he reigned in Jerusalem sixteen years. His mother’s name was Jerusha daughter of Zadok.

34ಇವನು ತನ್ನ ತಂದೆಯಾದ ಉಜ್ಜೀಯನಂತೆ ಯೆಹೋವನ ದೃಷ್ಟಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಒಳ್ಳೆಯವನಾಗಿದ್ದನು.And he did what was right in the eyes of the LORD, just as his father Uzziah had done.

35ಆದರೆ ಇವನ ಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಪೂಜಾಸ್ಥಳಗಳು ಇನ್ನೂ ತೆಗೆಯಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಆದುದರಿಂದ ಜನರು ಅವುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಯಜ್ಞಧೂಪಗಳನ್ನು ಸಮರ್ಪಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು. ಯೆಹೋವನ ಆಲಯಕ್ಕೆ ಮೇಲಣ ಹೆಬ್ಬಾಗಿಲನ್ನು ಇಡಿಸಿದವನು ಇವನೇ.Nevertheless, the high places were not taken away; the people continued sacrificing and burning incense there. Jotham rebuilt the Upper Gate of the house of the LORD.

36ಯೋತಾಮನ ಉಳಿದ ಚರಿತ್ರೆಯೂ, ಅವನ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಕೃತ್ಯಗಳೂ ಯೆಹೂದ ರಾಜಕಾಲ ಇತಿಹಾಸ ಎಂಬ ಗ್ರಂಥದಲ್ಲಿ ಬರೆದು ದಾಖಲಿಸಿದೆ.As for the rest of the acts of Jotham, along with his accomplishments, are they not written in the Book of the Chronicles of the Kings of Judah?

37ಯೆಹೋವನು ಆ ಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಅರಾಮ್ಯರ ಅರಸನಾದ ರೆಚೀನನನ್ನೂ, ರೆಮಲ್ಯನ ಮಗನಾದ ಪೆಕಹನನ್ನೂ ಯೆಹೂದ್ಯರಿಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ಕಳುಹಿಸತೊಡಗಿದನು.(In those days the LORD began to send Rezin king of Aram and Pekah son of Remaliah against Judah.)

38ಯೋತಾಮನು ಪೂರ್ವಿಕರ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಸೇರಲು ಅವನ ಶವವನ್ನು ಅವನ ಪೂರ್ವಿಕನಾದ ದಾವೀದನ ಪಟ್ಟಣದೊಳಗೆ ಅವನ ಪೂರ್ವಿಕರ ಕುಟುಂಬ ಸ್ಮಶಾನದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಮಾಧಿಮಾಡಿದರು. ಅವನ ನಂತರ ಅವನ ಮಗನಾದ ಆಹಾಜನು ಅರಸನಾದನು.And Jotham rested with his fathers and was buried with them in the City of David his father. And his son Ahaz reigned in his place.
