BSB BSB: After His suffering, He presented Himself to them with many convincing proofs that He was alive. He appeared to them over a span of forty days and spoke about the kingdom of God.

BSB BSB: “Men of Galilee,” they said, “why do you stand here looking into the sky? This same Jesus, who has been taken from you into heaven, will come back in the same way you have seen Him go into heaven.”
12 ULB ಆಗ ಅವರು ಆಲೀವ್ ಮರಗಳ ಗುಡ್ಡದಿಂದ ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿಗೆ ಹಿಂತಿರುಗಿ ಬಂದರು. ಆ ಗುಡ್ಡಕ್ಕೂ ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿಗೂ ಸಬ್ಬತ್ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಯಾಣಮಾಡುವಷ್ಟು ದೂರವಿತ್ತು. BSB BSB: Then they returned to Jerusalem from the Mount of Olives, which is near the city, a Sabbath day’s journey away.

19 ULB ಇದು ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮ್ ಪಟ್ಟಣದ ನಿವಾಸಿಗಳಿಗೆಲ್ಲಾ ತಿಳಿದುಬಂದುದರಿಂದ ಆ ಹೊಲಕ್ಕೆ ಅವರ ಭಾಷೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ‘ಅಕೆಲ್ದಾಮಾ,’ ಅಂದರೆ ರಕ್ತದ ಹೊಲ ಎಂಬ ಹೆಸರು ಬಂದಿತು.) BSB BSB: This became known to all who lived in Jerusalem, so they called that field in their own language Akeldama, that is, Field of Blood.)

21 ULB ಆದುದರಿಂದ ಕರ್ತನಾದ ಯೇಸು ನಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿ ಬರುತ್ತಾ ಹೋಗುತ್ತಾ ಇದ್ದಕಾಲವೆಲ್ಲಾ, ಅಂದರೆ ಯೋಹಾನನು ದೀಕ್ಷಾಸ್ನಾನ ಮಾಡಿಸಿದ್ದು ಮೊದಲುಗೊಂಡು ಯೇಸು ನಮ್ಮ ಬಳಿಯಿಂದ ಪರಲೋಕವನ್ನೇರಿ ಹೋದ ದಿನದ ವರೆಗೂ ನಮ್ಮ ಜೊತೆಯಲ್ಲಿದ್ದವರೊಳಗೆ ಒಬ್ಬನು ನಮ್ಮೊಂದಿಗೆ ಆತನ ಪುನರುತ್ಥಾನದ ವಿಷಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಾಕ್ಷಿಹೇಳುವವನಾಗಬೇಕು ಅಂದನು BSB BSB: Therefore it is necessary to choose one of the men who have accompanied us the whole time the Lord Jesus went in and out among us,
23 ULB ಈ ಮಾತುಗಳನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿ ಅವರು ಯೂಸ್ತನೆನಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ಬಾರ್ನಬನೆಂಬ ಯೋಸೇಫನನ್ನೂ BSB BSB: So they proposed two men: Joseph called Barsabbas (also known as Justus) and Matthias.
24 ULB ಮತ್ತೀಯನನ್ನೂ ಎಂಬ ಇಬ್ಬರನು ನಿಲ್ಲಿಸಿ ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥನೆ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಾ, <<ಕರ್ತನೇ, ಎಲ್ಲರ ಹೃದಯವನ್ನು ಬಲ್ಲಾತನೇ, ಯೂದನು ಅಪೊಸ್ತಲತನವೆಂಬ ಈ ಸೇವಾಸ್ಥಾನದಿಂದ ಭ್ರಷ್ಟನಾಗಿ ತಾನು ಹೋಗ ತಕ್ಕ ಸ್ಥಳಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಗಿರುವುದರಿಂದ ಆ ಸ್ಥಾನವನ್ನು ಹೊಂದುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಈ ಇಬ್ಬರಲ್ಲಿ ನೀನು ಆರಿಸಿ ಕೊಂಡವನನ್ನು ತೋರಿಸಿಕೊಡು>> ಎಂದು ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥಿಸಿದರು. BSB BSB: And they prayed, “Lord, You know everyone’s heart. Show us which of these two You have chosen
26 ULB ಆನಂತರ ಅವರಿಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಚೀಟುಹಾಕಿದರು; ಚೀಟು ಮತ್ತೀಯನ ಪರವಾಗಿ ಬಿದ್ದುದರಿಂದ ಅವನು ಹನ್ನೊಂದು ಮಂದಿ ಅಪೊಸ್ತಲರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಸೇರಿಕೊಂಡನು. BSB BSB: Then they cast lots, and the lot fell to Matthias. So he was added to the eleven apostles.
