1 ULB ಐದು ದಿನಗಳಾದ ಮೇಲೆ ಮಹಾಯಾಜಕನಾದ ಅನನೀಯನು, ಹಿರಿಯರಲ್ಲಿ ಕೆಲವರನ್ನೂ ತೆರ್ತುಲ್ಯನೆಂಬ ಒಬ್ಬ ವಕೀಲನನ್ನೂ ಕರೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಬಂದು, ಪೌಲನ ಮೇಲೆ ದೇಶಾಧಿಪತಿಗೆ ದೂರು ಹೇಳಿದನು. BSB BSB: Five days later the high priest Ananias came down with some elders and a lawyer named Tertullus, who presented to the governor their case against Paul.

5 ULB <<ಈ ಮನುಷ್ಯನನು <ಹಾನಿಕರವೂ ಲೋಕದ ಎಲ್ಲೆಡೆ ಇರುವ, ಯೆಹೂದ್ಯರಲ್ಲಿ ದಂಗೆಯನ್ನು ಎಬ್ಬಿಸುವವನೆಂತಲೂ, ನಜರೇನ ಎಂಬ ಪಂಥದ ನಾಯಕ ಎಂತಲೂ ಕಂಡೆವು.> BSB BSB: We have found this man to be a pestilence, stirring up dissension among the Jews all over the world. He is a ringleader of the sect of the Nazarenes,
6 ULB ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಇವನು, ದೇವಾಲಯವನ್ನು ಹೊಲೆಮಾಡುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಪ್ರಯತ್ನಮಾಡಿದನು; ಆದಕಾರಣ ಇವನನ್ನು ನಾವು ಹಿಡಿದೆವು. BSB BSB: and he even tried to desecrate the temple; so we seized him.

9 ULB ಆಗ ಯೆಹೂದ್ಯರು ಈ ಸಂಗತಿಗಳು ನಿಜವಾಗಿವೆ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿ ತಾವೂ ಆ ದೋಷಾರೋಪಣೆ ಮಾಡುವವರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಸೇರಿಕೊಂಡರು. BSB BSB: The Jews concurred, asserting that these charges were true.
10 ULB ದೇಶಾಧಿಪತಿಯು ಪೌಲನಿಗೆ; ನೀನು ಮಾತನಾಡಬಹುದೆಂದು ಸನ್ನೆಮಾಡಲು, ಅವನು ಪ್ರತ್ಯುತ್ತರವಾಗಿ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದೇನಂದರೆ; <<ನೀನು ಅನೇಕ ವರುಷಗಳಿಂದ ಈ ದೇಶದ ಜನರಿಗೆ ನ್ಯಾಯಾಧಿಪತಿಯಾಗಿರುತ್ತೀ, ಎಂದು ತಿಳಿದು ನಾನು ಧೈರ್ಯವಾಗಿ ಪ್ರತಿವಾದ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದೇನೆ. BSB BSB: When the governor motioned for Paul to speak, he began his response: “Knowing that you have been a judge over this nation for many years, I gladly make my defense.

16 ULB ಇದರ ದೆಸೆಯಿಂದ ದೇವರ ಮುಂದೆಯೂ, ಮನುಷ್ಯರ ಮುಂದೆಯೂ ನಿರ್ದೋಷವಾದ ಮನಸಾಕ್ಷಿಯುಳ್ಳವನಾಗಿರಬೇಕೆಂದು ನಾನು ಯಾವಾಗಲೂ ಪ್ರಯತ್ನಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆ. BSB BSB: In this hope, I strive always to maintain a clear conscience before God and man.

BSB BSB: At the time they found me in the temple, I was ceremonially clean and was not inciting a crowd or an uproar. But there are some Jews from the province of Asia
19 ULB ನನ್ನ ವಿರುದ್ಧ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಏನಾದರೂ ಇದ್ದರೆ, ತಾವೇ ನಿನ್ನ ಮುಂದೆ ತಪ್ಪುಹೊರಿಸುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಇಲ್ಲಿಗೆ ಬರಬೇಕಾಗಿತ್ತು. BSB BSB: who ought to appear before you and bring charges, if they have anything against me.
20 ULB ಇಲ್ಲವಾದ್ದರಿಂದ ನಾನು ಹಿರಿಸಭೆಯ ಎದುರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಂತಿದ್ದಾಗ, ನನ್ನಲ್ಲಿ ತಪ್ಪುಗಳೇನಾದರೂ ಕಂಡಿದ್ದರೆ ಇವರೇ ಹೇಳಲಿ. BSB BSB: Otherwise, let these men state for themselves any crime they found in me when I stood before the Sanhedrin,

BSB BSB: unless it was this one thing I called out as I stood in their presence: ‘It is concerning the resurrection of the dead that I am on trial before you today.’”
22 ULB ಫೇಲಿಕ್ಸನು ಈ ಮಾರ್ಗವನ್ನು, ತಕ್ಕ ಮಟ್ಟಿಗೆ ತಿಳಿದವನಾಗಿದ್ದರೂ ಅವರಿಗೆ; <<ಸಹಸ್ರಾಧಿಪತಿಯಾದ ಲೂಸ್ಯನು ಬಂದ ಮೇಲೆ ನಿನ್ನ ಪ್ರಕರಣವನ್ನು ತೀರ್ಮಾನಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆಂದು>> ಹೇಳಿ, ವಿಚಾರಣೆಯನ್ನು ತಡೆಮಾಡಿದನು. BSB BSB: Then Felix, who was well informed about the Way, adjourned the hearing and said, “When Lysias the commander comes, I will decide your case.”
23 ULB ಅನಂತರ ಪೌಲನನ್ನು ಕಾವಲ್ಲಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಇಡಬೇಕೆಂದೂ, ಆದರೆ ಕಟ್ಟು ನಿಟ್ಟು ಬೇಕಿಲ್ಲವೆಂದೂ, ಅವನಿಗೆ ಸಂಬಂಧಪಟ್ಟವರು ಅವನಿಗೆ ಉಪಚಾರ ಮಾಡುವುದನ್ನು, ಅಡ್ಡಿಮಾಡಬಾರದೆಂದು ಶತಾಧಿಪತಿಗೆ ಅಪ್ಪಣೆಮಾಡಿದನು. BSB BSB: He ordered the centurion to keep Paul under guard, but to allow him some freedom and permit his friends to minister to his needs.
24 ULB ಕೆಲವು ದಿನಗಳಾದ ಮೇಲೆ ಫೇಲಿಕ್ಸನು, ಯೆಹೂದ್ಯಳಾದ ದ್ರೂಸಿಲ್ಲಳೆಂಬ ತನ್ನ ಹೆಂಡತಿಯೊಂದಿಗೆ ಬಂದು, ಪೌಲನನ್ನು ಕರೆಯಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತ ಯೇಸುವಿನಲ್ಲಿಡತಕ್ಕ ನಂಬಿಕೆಯ ವಿಷಯವಾಗಿ ಅವನು ಹೇಳಿದ ಮಾತುಗಳನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿದನು. BSB BSB: After several days, Felix returned with his wife Drusilla, who was a Jewess. He sent for Paul and listened to him speak about faith in Christ Jesus.
25 ULB ಪೌಲನು ನೀತಿ, ಶಮೆದಮೆ, ಹಾಗೂ ಮುಂದಣ ನ್ಯಾಯವಿಚಾರಣೆ ಇವುಗಳ ವಿಷಯವಾಗಿ ಪ್ರಸ್ತಾಪಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾಗ ಫೇಲಿಕ್ಸನು ಭಯಗ್ರಸ್ತನಾಗಿ ಅವನಿಗೆ; <<ಸದ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಗು; ಸಮಯ ದೊರಕಿದಾಗ ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಕರೆಯಿಸುವೆನು>> ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು. BSB BSB: As Paul expounded on righteousness, self-control, and the coming judgment, Felix became frightened and said, “You may go for now. When I find the time, I will call for you.”
26 ULB ಅದೇ ಸಮಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಅವನು ಪೌಲನು ತನಗೇನಾದರೂ ಹಣಕೊಡುವನೋ ಎಂಬುದಾಗಿಯೂ ನಿರೀಕ್ಷಿಸಿ, ಆಗಾಗ್ಗೆ ಅವನನ್ನು ಕರೆಯಿಸಿ, ಅವನೊಂದಿಗೆ ಸಲ್ಲಾಪಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದನು. BSB BSB: At the same time, he was hoping that Paul would offer him a bribe. So he sent for Paul frequently and talked with him.
27 ULB ಎರಡು ವರುಷಗಳು ತುಂಬಿದ ಮೇಲೆ ಫೇಲಿಕ್ಸನ ಸ್ಥಾನಕ್ಕೆ ಪೋರ್ಕಿಯ ಫೆಸ್ತನು ಎಂಬವನು ಬಂದನು. ಫೇಲಿಕ್ಸನು ಯೆಹೂದ್ಯರ ಪ್ರೀತಿಯನ್ನು ಸಂಪಾದಿಸಬೇಕೆಂದು ಪೌಲನನ್ನು ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಸೆರೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಬಿಟ್ಟು ಹೋದನು. BSB BSB: After two years had passed, Felix was succeeded by Porcius Festus. And wishing to do the Jews a favor, Felix left Paul in prison.
