BSB BSB: Did it not belong to you before it was sold? And after it was sold, was it not at your disposal? How could you conceive such a deed in your heart? You have not lied to men, but to God!”
5 ULB ಈ ಮಾತುಗಳನ್ನು ಅನನೀಯನು ಕೇಳಿದ ತಕ್ಷಣವೇ ಬಿದ್ದು ಪ್ರಾಣಬಿಟ್ಟನು; ಕೇಳಿದವರೆಲ್ಲರಿಗೂ ಮಹಾ ಭಯ ಉಂಟಾಯಿತು. BSB BSB: On hearing these words, Ananias fell down and died. And great fear came over all who heard what had happened.

9 ULB ಆಗ ಪೇತ್ರನು ಆಕೆಗೆ, <<ನೀವಿಬ್ಬರೂ ಕರ್ತನ ಆತ್ಮನನ್ನು ಪರೀಕ್ಷಿಸುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಏಕೆ ಒಡಂಬಟ್ಟಿರಿ? ಅಗೋ, ನಿನ್ನ ಗಂಡನನ್ನು ಸಮಾಧಿಮಾಡಿದವರು ಬಂದು ಬಾಗಿಲಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಕಾಲಿಟ್ಟಿದ್ದಾರೆ, ನಿನ್ನನ್ನೂ ಹೊತ್ತುಕೊಂಡು ಹೋಗುವರು>> ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು. BSB BSB: “How could you agree to test the Spirit of the Lord?” Peter replied. “Look, the feet of the men who buried your husband are at the door, and they will carry you out also.”
10 ULB ಕೂಡಲೆ ಆಕೆಯು ಅವನ ಪಾದಗಳ ಮುಂದೆ ಬಿದ್ದು ಪ್ರಾಣಬಿಟ್ಟಳು. ಆ ಯೌವನಸ್ಥರು ಒಳಗೆ ಬಂದು ಆಕೆಯು ಸತ್ತಿರುವುದನ್ನು ಕಂಡು ಆಕೆಯನ್ನು ಹೊತ್ತುಕೊಂಡು ಹೋಗಿ ಗಂಡನ ಮಗ್ಗುಲಲ್ಲಿ ಹೂಣಿಟ್ಟರು. BSB BSB: At that instant she fell down at his feet and died. Then the young men came in and, finding her dead, carried her out and buried her beside her husband.
12 ULB ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಅಪೊಸ್ತಲರ ಕೈಯಿಂದ ಅನೇಕ ಸೂಚಕಕಾರ್ಯಗಳೂ, ಅದ್ಭುತಕಾರ್ಯಗಳೂ ಜನರೊಳಗೆ ನಡೆಯುತ್ತಾ ಇದ್ದವು. ಮತ್ತು ಎಲ್ಲರು ಒಗ್ಗಟ್ಟಾಗಿ ಸೊಲೊಮೋನನ ಮಂಟಪದಲ್ಲಿ ಸೇರಿಬರುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು. BSB BSB: The apostles performed many signs and wonders among the people, and with one accord the believers gathered together in Solomon’s Colonnade.
13 ULB ಅವರ ಜೊತೆಯಲ್ಲಿರುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಉಳಿದವರಲ್ಲಿ ಒಬ್ಬರಿಗೂ ಧೈರ್ಯವಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಆದರೂ ಜನರು ಅವರನ್ನು ಬಹಳವಾಗಿ ಕೊಂಡಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು. BSB BSB: Although the people regarded them highly, no one else dared to join them.

21 ULB ಅದನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿದ ಅವರು ಬೆಳಗಿನ ಜಾವದಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ದೇವಾಲಯದೊಳಗೆ ಹೋಗಿ ಸುವಾರ್ತೆಯನ್ನು ಸಾರಿದರು. ಇತ್ತ ಮಹಾಯಾಜಕನೂ, ಅವನ ಜೊತೆಯಲ್ಲಿದ್ದವರೂ ಬಂದು ಹಿರೀಸಭೆಯನ್ನೂ, ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ಯರ ಹಿರಿಯರೆಲ್ಲರನ್ನೂ ಕೂಡಿಸಿ, ಅವರನ್ನು ಕರತರುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಓಲೇಕಾರರನ್ನು ಸೆರೆಮನೆಗೆ ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದರು. When the high priest and his associates arrived, they convened the Sanhedrin—the full assembly of the elders of Israel—and sent to the jail for the apostles.

24 ULB ದೇವಾಲಯದ ಅಧಿಪತಿಯೂ, ಮುಖ್ಯಯಾಜಕರೂ ಈ ಮಾತುಗಳನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿ ಇದರಿಂದ ಏನು ಪರಿಣಾಮವಾದೀತೋ ಎಂದು ಕಳವಳಗೊಂಡರು. BSB BSB: When the captain of the temple guard and the chief priests heard this account, they were perplexed as to what was happening.
25 ULB ಅಷ್ಟರಲ್ಲಿ ಒಬ್ಬನು ಬಂದು; <<ಅಗೋ, ನೀವು ಸೆರೆಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿಟ್ಟಿದ್ದ ಆ ಮನುಷ್ಯರು ದೇವಾಲಯದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಂತುಕೊಂಡು ಜನರಿಗೆ ಉಪದೇಶಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆಂದು>> ಅವರಿಗೆ ತಿಳಿಸಿದನು. BSB BSB: Then someone came in and announced, “Look, the men you put in jail are standing in the temple courts teaching the people!”
26 ULB ಆಗ ಸೈನ್ಯದ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಯು ಓಲೇಕಾರರ ಸಂಗಡ ಹೋಗಿ ಅವರನ್ನು ಕರೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಬಂದನು. ಆದರೆ ತಮಗೆ ಜನರು ಕಲ್ಲೆಸೆದಾರೆಂದು ಹೆದರಿ ಅವರನ್ನು ಹಿಂಸಿಸಲಿಲ್ಲ. BSB BSB: At that point, the captain went with the officers and brought the apostles—but not by force, for fear the people would stone them.
27 ULB ಅಪೊಸ್ತಲರನ್ನು ಕರತಂದು ಹಿರೀಸಭೆಯ ಮುಂದೆ ನಿಲ್ಲಿಸಲು ಮಹಾಯಾಜಕನು ಅವರನ್ನು ವಿಚಾರಣೆಮಾಡುತ್ತಾ, BSB BSB: They brought them in and made them stand before the Sanhedrin, where the high priest interrogated them.
28 ULB <<ನೀವು ಈ ಹೆಸರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಉಪದೇಶಮಾಡಲೇ ಬಾರದೆಂದು ನಾವು ನಿಮಗೆ ಕಟ್ಟಪ್ಪಣೆ ಕೊಡಲಿಲ್ಲವೇ? ಆದರೂ ನೀವು ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮನ್ನು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಉಪದೇಶದಿಂದ ತುಂಬಿಸಿದಿರಿ, ಮತ್ತು ಆ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಯ ರಕ್ತಕ್ಕೆ ನಾವೇ ಹೊಣೆಗಾರರು ಎಂದು ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಜವಾಬ್ಧಾರರನ್ನಾಗಿ ಮಾಡಲು ನೀವು ಪ್ರಯತ್ನಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದೀರಿ>> ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು. BSB BSB: “We gave you strict orders not to teach in this name,” he said. “Yet you have filled Jerusalem with your teaching and are determined to make us responsible for this man’s blood.”
29 ULB ಪೇತ್ರನೂ ಉಳಿದ ಅಪೊಸ್ತಲರೂ ಅವರಿಗೆ, <<ನಾವು ಮನುಷ್ಯರಿಗಿಂತಲೂ ದೇವರಿಗೆ ಹೆಚ್ಚಾಗಿ ವಿಧೇಯರಾಗಿರಬೇಕಲ್ಲಾ. BSB BSB: But Peter and the other apostles replied, “We must obey God rather than men.
30 ULB ನೀವು ಮರದ ಕಂಬಕ್ಕೆ ತೂಗಹಾಕಿ ಕೊಂದ ಯೇಸುವನ್ನು ನಮ್ಮ ಪಿತೃಗಳ ದೇವರು ಎಬ್ಬಿಸಿದನು. BSB BSB: The God of our fathers raised up Jesus, whom you had killed by hanging Him on a tree.
31 ULB ದೇವರು ಆತನನ್ನೇ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ ಜನರಿಗೆ ಮಾನಸಾಂತರವನ್ನೂ, ಪಾಪಕ್ಷಮಾಪಣೆಯನ್ನೂ ದಯಪಾಲಿಸುವುದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಅವನನ್ನು ಪ್ರಭುವನಾಗಿಯೂ, ರಕ್ಷಕನಾಗಿಯೂ ತನ್ನ ಬಲಗೈಯಿಂದ ಉನ್ನತಸ್ಥಾನಕ್ಕೆ ಏರಿಸಿದನು. BSB BSB: God exalted Him to His right hand as Prince and Savior, in order to grant repentance and forgiveness of sins to Israel.
32 ULB ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯಗಳಿಗೆ ನಾವು ಸಾಕ್ಷಿ ಹಾಗೂ ದೇವರು ತನಗೆ ವಿಧೇಯರಾಗಿರುವವರಿಗೆ ದಯಪಾಲಿಸಿರುವ ಪವಿತ್ರಾತ್ಮನು ಸಾಕ್ಷಿ>> ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರು. BSB BSB: We are witnesses of these things, and so is the Holy Spirit, whom God has given to those who obey Him.”
33 ULB ಸಭಿಕರು ಈ ಮಾತನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿ ರೌದ್ರಗೊಂಡು ಅವರನ್ನು ಕೊಲ್ಲಿಸಬೇಕೆಂದು ಆಲೋಚಿಸಿದರು. BSB BSB: When the Council members heard this, they were enraged, and they resolved to put the apostles to death.

BSB BSB: But a Pharisee named Gamaliel, a teacher of the law who was honored by all the people, stood up in the Sanhedrin and ordered that the men be put outside for a short time.
35 ULB ಅನಂತರ ಸಭೆಯವರಿಗೆ, <<ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ ಜನರೇ, ನೀವು ಈ ಮನುಷ್ಯರ ವಿಷಯದಲ್ಲಿ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ನಿರ್ಧಾರದ ಕುರಿತು ಎಚ್ಚರಿಕೆಯುಳ್ಳವರಾಗಿರಿ. BSB BSB: “Men of Israel,” he said, “consider carefully what you are about to do to these men.
36 ULB ಇದಕ್ಕಿಂತ ಮೊದಲು ಥೈದನು ಎಂಬ ಒಬ್ಬನು ಎದ್ದು ತಾನೊಬ್ಬ ಮಹಾಪುರುಷನೆಂದು ಹೇಳಿಕೊಂಡನು. ಅವನ ಪಕ್ಷಕ್ಕೆ ಸುಮಾರು ನಾನೂರು ಜನರು ಸೇರಿಕೊಂಡರು, ಅವನು ಕೊಲ್ಲಲ್ಪಟ್ಟನು, ಮತ್ತು ಅವನನ್ನು ನಂಬಿದವರೆಲ್ಲರು ಚದರಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟು ಇಲ್ಲವಾದರು. BSB BSB: Some time ago Theudas rose up, claiming to be somebody, and about four hundred men joined him. He was killed, all his followers were dispersed, and it all came to nothing.
38 ULB ಹೀಗಿರುವುದರಿಂದ ನಾನು ನಿಮಗೆ ಹೇಳುವುದೇನಂದರೆ ನೀವು ಆ ಮನುಷ್ಯರ ಗೊಡವೆಗೆ ಹೋಗಬೇಡಿರಿ, ಅವರನ್ನು ಬಿಡಿರಿ. ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಈ ಯೋಚನೆಯು ಅಥವಾ ಈ ಕೆಲಸವು ಮನುಷ್ಯರಿಂದಾಗಿದ್ದರೆ ತಾನೇ ಕೆಡುವುದು; BSB BSB: So in the present case I advise you: Leave these men alone. Let them go! For if their purpose or endeavor is of human origin, it will fail.
39 ULB ಅದು ದೇವರಿಂದಾಗಿದ್ದರೆ ಅದನ್ನು ಕೆಡಿಸುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ನಿಮ್ಮಿಂದ ಸಾಧ್ಯವಾಗುವುದಿಲ್ಲ; ನೀವು ಒಂದು ವೇಳೆ ದೇವರ ವಿರುದ್ಧ ಯುದ್ಧಮಾಡುವವರಾಗಿ ಕಾಣಿಸಿಕೊಂಡೀರಿ>> ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು. BSB BSB: But if it is from God, you will not be able to stop them. You may even find yourselves fighting against God.”
40 ULB ಅವರು ಅವನ ಮಾತಿಗೆ ಒಪ್ಪಿ ಅಪೊಸ್ತಲರನ್ನು ಕರೆಯಿಸಿ, ಹೊಡಿಸಿ ಯೇಸುವಿನ ಹೆಸರನ್ನು ಹೇಳಿ ಮಾತನಾಡಲೇಬಾರದೆಂದು ಅಪ್ಪಣೆಕೊಟ್ಟು ಅವರನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟುಬಿಟ್ಟರು. BSB BSB: At this, they yielded to Gamaliel. They called the apostles in and had them flogged. Then they ordered them not to speak in the name of Jesus, and released them.
41 ULB ಅಪೊಸ್ತಲರು ತಾವು ಯೇಸುವಿನ ಹೆಸರಿನ ನಿಮಿತ್ತವಾಗಿ ಅವಮಾನಪಡುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಯೋಗ್ಯರೆನಿಸಿಕೊಂಡೆವೆಂದು ಸಂತೋಷಪಟ್ಟರು. BSB BSB: The apostles left the Sanhedrin, rejoicing that they had been counted worthy of suffering disgrace for the Name.
42 ULB ಹಿರೀಸಭೆಯ ಎದುರಿನಿಂದ ಹೊರಟುಹೋಗಿ, ಪ್ರತಿದಿನ ಎಡೆಬಿಡದೆ ದೇವಾಲಯದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ, ಮನೆಮನೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿಯೂ, ಉಪದೇಶಮಾಡುತ್ತಾ ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತನಾದ ಯೇಸುವಿನ ಕುರಿತು ಶುಭವರ್ತಮಾನವನ್ನು ಸಾರುತ್ತಾ ಇದ್ದರು. BSB BSB: Every day, in the temple courts and from house to house, they did not stop teaching and proclaiming the good news that Jesus is the Christ.
