2 ULB ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲೆಂಬ ಯುವತಿಯು ಬಿದ್ದಿದ್ದಾಳೆ; ಮತ್ತೆ ಏಳುವುದೇ ಇಲ್ಲ; ದಿಕ್ಕಿಲ್ಲದೆ ತನ್ನ ನೆಲದ ಮೇಲೆ ಒರಗಿದ್ದಾಳೆ; ಅವಳನ್ನು ಎತ್ತಲು ಯಾರೂ ಇಲ್ಲ. BSB BSB: “Fallen is Virgin Israel, never to rise again. She lies abandoned on her land, with no one to raise her up.”
3 ULB ಕರ್ತನಾದ ಯೆಹೋವನು ಇಂತೆನ್ನುತ್ತಾನೆ, <<ಒಂದು ಪಟ್ಟಣದಿಂದ ಯುದ್ಧಕ್ಕೆ ಹೊರಟ ಸಾವಿರ ಸೈನಿಕರಲ್ಲಿ ನೂರು ಮಂದಿ ಉಳಿಯುವರು, ಒಂದು ಊರಿನಿಂದ ಹೊರಟ ನೂರು ಸೈನಿಕರಲ್ಲಿ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರ ವಂಶಕ್ಕೆ ಹತ್ತು ಜನ ನಿಲ್ಲುವರು.>> BSB BSB: This is what the Lord GOD says: “The city that marches out a thousand strong will have but a hundred left, and the one that marches out a hundred strong will have but ten left in the house of Israel.”
4 ULB ಯೆಹೋವನು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರ ವಂಶಕ್ಕೆ ಹೀಗೆ ನುಡಿಯುತ್ತಾನೆ: <<ನೀವು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಆಶ್ರಯಿಸಿ ಬದುಕಿಕೊಳ್ಳಿರಿ! BSB BSB: For this is what the LORD says to the house of Israel: “Seek Me and live!
5 ULB ಬೇತೇಲನ್ನು ಆಶ್ರಯಿಸಬೇಡಿರಿ; ಗಿಲ್ಗಾಲನ್ನು ಸೇರಬೇಡಿರಿ; ಬೇರ್ಷೆಬಕ್ಕೆ ಯಾತ್ರೆ ಹೋಗಬೇಡಿರಿ. ಗಿಲ್ಗಾಲು ನಿಶ್ಚಯವಾಗಿ ಸೆರೆಗೆ ಹೋಗುವುದು. ಬೇತೇಲು ಬಯಲಾಗುವುದು. BSB BSB: Do not seek Bethel or go to Gilgal; do not journey to Beersheba, for Gilgal will surely go into exile, and Bethel will come to nothing.
6 ULB ಯೆಹೋವನ ಕಡೆಗೆ ತಿರುಗಿಕೊಂಡು ಬದುಕಿರಿ, ತಿರುಗಿಕೊಳ್ಳದಿದ್ದರೆ ಆತನು ಬೆಂಕಿಯೋಪಾದಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಯೋಸೇಫನ ವಂಶದೊಳಗೆ ಪ್ರವೇಶಿಸುವನು. ಅದು ದಹಿಸಿಬಿಡುವುದು, ಅದನ್ನು ಆರಿಸುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಬೇತೇಲಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾರೂ ಇರುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. BSB BSB: Seek the LORD and live, or He will sweep like fire through the house of Joseph; it will devour everything, with no one at Bethel to extinguish it.
7 ULB ಅವರು ನ್ಯಾಯವನ್ನು ಕಹಿಮಾಡುವವರು ಮತ್ತು ಧರ್ಮವನ್ನು ನೆಲಕ್ಕೆ ಕೆಡವಿಬಿಡುವವರು!>> BSB BSB: There are those who turn justice into wormwood and cast righteousness to the ground.
8 ULB ಕೃತ್ತಿಕಾ ಮತ್ತು ಒರಿಯನ್ ಎಂಬ ಪ್ರಕಾಶಮಾನವಾದ ನಕ್ಷತ್ರಗಳನ್ನು ಸೃಷ್ಟಿಸಿ, ಕಾರ್ಗತ್ತಲನ್ನು ಬೆಳಕನ್ನಾಗಿ ಮಾಡಿ, ಹಗಲನ್ನು ಇರುಳಾಗಿ ಮಾರ್ಪಡಿಸಿ, ಸಾಗರದ ಜಲವನ್ನು ಬರಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡು, ಭೂಮಂಡಲದ ಮೇಲೆ ಸುರಿಯುವಾತನ ಕಡೆಗೆ ತಿರುಗಿಕೊಳ್ಳಿರಿ, ಯೆಹೋವನೆಂಬುದೇ ಆತನ ನಾಮಧೇಯ! BSB BSB: He who made the Pleiades and Orion, who turns darkness into dawn and darkens day into night, who summons the waters of the sea and pours them over the face of the earth—the LORD is His name—
9 ULB ಬಲಿಷ್ಠರಿಗೆ ಧ್ವಂಸವನ್ನು ತಟ್ಟನೇ ತಂದೊಡ್ಡಿ, ಕೋಟೆಗೆ ನಾಶನವನ್ನು ತರುವವನು ಆತನೇ. BSB BSB: He flashes destruction on the strong, so that fury comes upon the stronghold.
10 ULB ಕಂಡ ದೋಷವನ್ನು ಚಾವಡಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಖಂಡಿಸುವವನ ಮೇಲೆ ಹಗೆತೋರಿಸುತ್ತೀರಿ, ಯಥಾರ್ಥರನ್ನು ದ್ವೇಷಿಸುತ್ತೀರಿ. BSB BSB: There are those who hate the one who reproves in the gate and despise him who speaks with integrity.
11 ULB ನೀವು ಬಡವರನ್ನು ತುಳಿದು, ಅವರಿಂದ ಗೋದಿಯನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟಿ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡ ಕಾರಣ ಕೆತ್ತಿದ ಕಲ್ಲಿನಿಂದ ನೀವು ಕಟ್ಟಿಕೊಂಡ ಮನೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ, ವಾಸಿಸದೆ ಇರುವಿರಿ. ಒಳ್ಳೆಯ ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಿಯ ತೋಟಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡು, ಅದರ ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಾರಸವನ್ನು ಕುಡಿಯುವಿರಿ. BSB BSB: Therefore, because you trample on the poor and exact from him a tax of grain, you will never live in the stone houses you have built; you will never drink the wine from the lush vineyards you have planted.
12 ULB ನೀತಿವಂತರನ್ನು ಹಿಂಸಿಸುವವರೇ, ಲಂಚತೆಗೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳುವವರೇ, ಚಾವಡಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ದರಿದ್ರರ ನ್ಯಾಯವನ್ನು ತಪ್ಪಿಸುವವರೇ. ನಿಮ್ಮ ದ್ರೋಹಗಳು ಬಹಳ, ನಿಮ್ಮ ಪಾಪಗಳು ನನಗೆ ಗೊತ್ತಿದೆ. BSB BSB: For I know that your transgressions are many and your sins are numerous. You oppress the righteous by taking bribes; you deprive the poor of justice in the gate.
13 ULB ಇಂಥ ಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ವಿವೇಕಿಯು ಸುಮ್ಮನಿರುವನು, ಇದು ದುಷ್ಟ ಕಾಲವೇ ಸರಿ. BSB BSB: Therefore, the prudent keep silent in such times, for the days are evil.
14 ULB ಕೆಟ್ಟದ್ದನಲ್ಲ ಒಳ್ಳೆಯದನ್ನು, ಅನುಸರಿಸಿ ಬಾಳಿರಿ. ನೀವು ಅಂದುಕೊಂಡಂತೆ, ಸೇನಾಧೀಶ್ವರ ದೇವರಾದ ಯೆಹೋವನು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಸಂಗಡ ಇರುವನು. BSB BSB: Seek good, not evil, so that you may live. And the LORD, the God of Hosts, will be with you, as you have claimed.
15 ULB ಕೆಟ್ಟದ್ದನ್ನು ದ್ವೇಷಿಸಿರಿ, ಒಳ್ಳೆಯದನ್ನು ಪ್ರೀತಿಸಿರಿ, ಚಾವಡಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನ್ಯಾಯವನ್ನು ಸ್ಥಾಪಿಸಿರಿ. ಒಂದು ವೇಳೆ ಸೇನಾಧೀಶ್ವರ ದೇವರಾದ ಯೆಹೋವನು ಯೋಸೇಫನ ವಂಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಉಳಿದವರಿಗೆ ಪ್ರಸನ್ನನಾದನು. BSB BSB: Hate evil and love good; establish justice in the gate. Perhaps the LORD, the God of Hosts, will be gracious to the remnant of Joseph.”
16 ULB ಸೇನಾಧೀಶ್ವರ ದೇವರಾದ, ಯೆಹೋವನು ಇಂತೆನ್ನುತ್ತಾನೆ: <<ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಚೌಕಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಕಿರುಚಾಟವಾಗುವುದು ಮತ್ತು ಸಕಲ ಬೀದಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ, <ಅಯ್ಯೋ! ಅಯ್ಯೋ!> ಎಂದು ಅರಚಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವರು. ರೈತರನ್ನು ಪ್ರಲಾಪಿಸುವುದಕ್ಕೂ ಗೋಳಾಟದವರನ್ನು ಗೋಳಾಡುವುದಕ್ಕೂ ಕರೆಯುವರು. BSB BSB: Therefore this is what the LORD, the God of Hosts, the Lord, says: “There will be wailing in all the public squares and cries of ‘Alas! Alas!’ in all the streets. The farmer will be summoned to mourn, and the mourners to wail.
17 ULB ಎಲ್ಲಾ ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಿಯ ತೋಟಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ರೋದನವಾಗುವುದು. ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ನಾನು ನಿಮ್ಮ ನಡುವೆ ಸಂಹಾರಕನಾಗಿ ಹಾದುಹೋಗುವೆನು>> ಇದು ಯೆಹೋವನ ನುಡಿ. BSB BSB: There will be wailing in all the vineyards, for I will pass through your midst,” says the LORD.
18 ULB ಯೆಹೋವನ ದಿನವನ್ನು ನಿರೀಕ್ಷಿಸಿಕೊಂಡವರೇ, ನಿಮ್ಮ ಗತಿಯನ್ನು ಏನು ಹೇಳಲಿ! ಯೆಹೋವನ ದಿನವು ನಿಮಗೇಕೆ? ಅದು ಬೆಳಕಲ್ಲ ಕತ್ತಲೆಯೇ. BSB BSB: Woe to you who long for the Day of the LORD! What will the Day of the LORD be for you? It will be darkness and not light.
19 ULB ಸಿಂಹದ ಕಡೆಯಿಂದ ಓಡಿದವನಿಗೆ, ಕರಡಿಯು ಎದುರುಬಿದ್ದಂತಾಗುವುದು, ಅವನು ಮನೆಗೆ ಓಡಿಬಂದು, ಕೈಯನ್ನು ಗೋಡೆಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಇಡಲು, ಹಾವು ಕಚ್ಚಿದ ಹಾಗಾಗುವುದು. BSB BSB: It will be like a man who flees from a lion, only to encounter a bear, or who enters his house and rests his hand against the wall, only to be bitten by a snake.
20 ULB ಯೆಹೋವನ ದಿನವು ಬೆಳಕಲ್ಲ; ಕತ್ತಲೆಯೇ! ಯಾವ ಪ್ರಕಾಶ ಇಲ್ಲದ ಗಾಢಾಂಧಕಾರವೇ! BSB BSB: Will not the Day of the LORD be darkness and not light, even gloom with no brightness in it?
21 ULB <<ನಿಮ್ಮ ಜಾತ್ರೆಗಳನ್ನು ಹಗೆಮಾಡುತ್ತೇನೆ, ತುಚ್ಛೀಕರಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆ, ನಿಮ್ಮ ಉತ್ಸವಗಳ ವಾಸನೆಯೇ ನನಗೆ ಬೇಡ. BSB BSB: “I hate, I despise your feasts! I cannot stand the stench of your solemn assemblies.
22 ULB ನೀವು ನನಗೆ ಸರ್ವಾಂಗಹೋಮಗಳನ್ನು ಮತ್ತು ಧಾನ್ಯನೈವೇದ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಅರ್ಪಿಸಿದರೂ, ನಾನು ಅದನ್ನು ಸ್ವೀಕರಿಸುವುದಿಲ್ಲ, ಸಮಾಧಾನದ ಯಜ್ಞವಾಗಿ ನೀವು ಒಪ್ಪಿಸಿದ ಕೊಬ್ಬಿದ ಪಶುಗಳನ್ನು ನೋಡುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. BSB BSB: Even though you offer Me burnt offerings and grain offerings, I will not accept them; for your peace offerings of fattened cattle I will have no regard.
23 ULB ನಿಮ್ಮ ಗೀತೆಗಳ ಧ್ವನಿಯನ್ನು ನನ್ನಿಂದ ತೊಲಗಿಸಿರಿ; ನಿಮ್ಮ ವೀಣೆಗಳ ಮಧುರನಾದಕ್ಕೆ ಕಿವಿಗೊಡುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. BSB BSB: Take away from Me the noise of your songs! I will not listen to the music of your harps.
24 ULB ಅದರ ಬದಲಾಗಿ ನ್ಯಾಯವು ಹೊಳೆಯ ಹಾಗೆ ಹರಿಯಲಿ, ಧರ್ಮವು ಮಹಾನದಿಯಂತೆ ಹರಿಯಲಿ. BSB BSB: But let justice roll on like a river, and righteousness like an ever-flowing stream.
25 ULB ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರ ವಂಶದವರೇ ನೀವು ಅರಣ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ನಲ್ವತ್ತು ವರ್ಷ ನನಗೆ ಯಜ್ಞಗಳನ್ನೂ, ಧಾನ್ಯನೈವೇದ್ಯಗಳನ್ನೂ ಅರ್ಪಿಸಿದ್ದೀರೋ? BSB BSB: Did you bring Me sacrifices and offerings forty years in the wilderness, O house of Israel?
26 ULB ಸಿಕ್ಕೊತ್ ಎಂಬ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಒಡೆಯನನ್ನು, ಕಿಯೂನ್ ಎಂಬ ನಿಮ್ಮ ನಕ್ಷತ್ರ ದೇವತೆಯನ್ನು, ನಿರ್ಮಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿರುವ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಮೂರ್ತಿಗಳನ್ನು ನೀವು ಹೊತ್ತುಕೊಂಡು ಹೋಗಬೇಕಾಗುವುದು. BSB BSB: You have taken along Sakkuth your king and Kaiwan your star god, the idols you made for yourselves.
27 ULB ನಾನು ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ದಮಸ್ಕದ ಆಚೆ ಸೆರೆಗೆ ಕಳುಹಿಸುವೆನು>> ಸೇನಾಧೀಶ್ವರ ದೇವರೆಂಬ, ಯೆಹೋವನು ಇದನ್ನು ನುಡಿದಿದ್ದಾನೆ. BSB BSB: Therefore I will send you into exile beyond Damascus,” says the LORD, whose name is the God of Hosts.
