11 ULB ಜ್ಞಾನಿಗಳ ಮಾತುಗಳು ಮುಳ್ಳುಗೋಲುಗಳು, ಸಂಗ್ರಹ ವಾಕ್ಯಗಳು ಬಿಗಿಯಾಗಿ ಬಡಿದ ಮೊಳೆಗಳು ಇವೆರಡು ಒಬ್ಬನೇ ಕುರುಬನಿಂದ ಕೊಡಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿದೆ. BSB BSB: The words of the wise are like goads, and the anthologies of the masters are like firmly embedded nails driven by a single Shepherd.
12 ULB ನನ್ನ ಕಂದಾ, ಇವುಗಳಲ್ಲದೆ ಉಳಿದವುಗಳಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಎಚ್ಚರದಿಂದಿರು. ಬಹಳ ಗ್ರಂಥಗಳ ರಚನೆಗೆ ಮಿತಿಯಿಲ್ಲ. ಅತಿವ್ಯಾಸಂಗವು ದೇಹಕ್ಕೆ ಆಯಾಸ. BSB BSB: And by these, my son, be further warned: There is no end to the making of many books, and much study wearies the body.
