BSB BSB: And there it was found recorded that Mordecai had exposed Bigthana and Teresh, two of the eunuchs who guarded the king’s entrance, when they had conspired to assassinate King Xerxes.
3 ULB ಆಗ ಅರಸನು, <<ಇದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಮೊರ್ದೆಕೈಗೆ ಯಾವ ಸ್ಥಾನಮಾನಗಳು ದೊರಕಿದವು?>> ಎಂದು ವಿಚಾರಿಸಿದಾಗ ಅವನ ಸಾನ್ನಿಧ್ಯಸೇವಕರಾದ ಪರಿವಾರದವರು, <<ಏನೂ ದೊರಕಲಿಲ್ಲ>> ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರು. BSB BSB: The king inquired, “What honor or dignity has been bestowed on Mordecai for this act?” “Nothing has been done for him,” replied the king’s attendants.
4 ULB ಅರಸನು, <<ಪ್ರಾಕಾರದಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾರಿದ್ದಾರೆ?>> ಎಂದು ಕೇಳಿದನು. ಅಷ್ಟರಲ್ಲಿ ಹಾಮಾನನು ತಾನು ಸಿದ್ಧಮಾಡಿಸಿದ ಗಲ್ಲಿಗೆ ಮೊರ್ದೆಕೈಯನ್ನು ನೇತುಹಾಕಿಸುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಅರಸನ ಅಪ್ಪಣೆ ಪಡೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕೆಂದು ಅರಮನೆಯ ಹೊರಗಣ ಪ್ರಾಕಾರದಲ್ಲಿ ಬಂದು ನಿಂತಿದ್ದನು. BSB BSB: “Who is in the court?” the king asked. Now Haman had just entered the outer court of the palace to ask the king to hang Mordecai on the gallows he had prepared for him.
5 ULB ಆಗ ರಾಜಸೇವಕರು, <<ಇಗೋ, ಪ್ರಾಕಾರದಲ್ಲಿ ಹಾಮಾನನಿರುತ್ತಾನೆ>> ಎಂದು ಬಿನ್ನವಿಸಿದರು. ಆಗ ಅರಸನು, <<ಅವನು ಒಳಗೆ ಬರಲಿ>> ಅಂದನು. BSB BSB: So the king’s attendants answered him, “Haman is there, standing in the court.” “Bring him in,” ordered the king.
6 ULB ಹಾಮಾನನು ಬಂದಾಗ, <<ಅರಸನು ಯಾರನ್ನಾದರು ಸನ್ಮಾನಿಸಬೇಕೆಂದು ಇಷ್ಟವುಳ್ಳವನಾಗಿದ್ದರೆ ಅಂಥವನಿಗೆ ಮಾಡಬೇಕಾದದ್ದೇನು?>> ಎಂದು ಅವನನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿದನು. BSB BSB: Haman entered, and the king asked him, “What should be done for the man whom the king is delighted to honor?” Now Haman thought to himself, “Whom would the king be delighted to honor more than me?”
7 ULB ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಹಾಮಾನನು, <<ಅರಸನು ನನ್ನನ್ನಲ್ಲದೆ ಇನ್ನಾರನ್ನು ಸನ್ಮಾನಿಸುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಇಷ್ಟವುಳ್ಳವನಾಗಿರುವನು>> ಅಂದುಕೊಂಡನು. BSB BSB: And Haman told the king, “For the man whom the king is delighted to honor,
8 ULB ಅವನು ಅರಸನಿಗೆ, <<ಯಾರನ್ನಾದರೂ ಸನ್ಮಾನಿಸಬೇಕೆಂದು ಅರಸನಿಗೆ ಇಷ್ಟವಿದ್ದರೆ ತಾನು ಧರಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ರಾಜ ವಸ್ತ್ರಗಳನ್ನೂ ಮತ್ತು ಸವಾರಿಮಾಡುವ ಪಟ್ಟದ ಕುದುರೆಯನ್ನೂ ತರಿಸಬೇಕು. BSB BSB: have them bring a royal robe that the king himself has worn and a horse on which the king himself has ridden—one with a royal crest placed on its head.
9 ULB ಆ ವಸ್ತ್ರಗಳನ್ನೂ ಕುದುರೆಯನ್ನೂ ಪ್ರಧಾನರಾದ ಅರಸನ ಸರದಾರರಲ್ಲೊಬ್ಬನ ವಶಕ್ಕೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟು, ಅರಸನು ಸನ್ಮಾನಿಸಬೇಕೆಂದಿರುವ ಪುರುಷನಿಗೆ ಆ ರಾಜವಸ್ತ್ರಗಳನ್ನು ಹಾಕಿಸಬೇಕು. ಅನಂತರ ಅವನನ್ನು ಆ ಕುದುರೆಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಕುಳ್ಳಿರಿಸಿ ಪಟ್ಟಣದ ಬೀದಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಮೆರವಣಿಗೆ ಮಾಡಿಸುತ್ತಾ ಅವನ ಮುಂದೆ, <ಅರಸನು ಸನ್ಮಾನಿಸಬೇಕೆಂದಿರುವವನನ್ನು ಗೌರವಿಸುವ ರೀತಿಯು ಇದೇ> ಎಂದು ಪ್ರಕಟಣೆ ಮಾಡಿಸಬೇಕು>> ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು. BSB BSB: Let the robe and the horse be entrusted to one of the king’s most noble princes. Let them array the man the king wants to honor and parade him on the horse through the city square, proclaiming before him, ‘This is what is done for the man whom the king is delighted to honor!’”
10 ULB ಕೂಡಲೆ ಅರಸನು ಹಾಮಾನನಿಗೆ, <<ನೀನು ಹೇಳಿದ ವಸ್ತ್ರಗಳನ್ನೂ ಮತ್ತು ಕುದುರೆಯನ್ನೂ ಬೇಗನೆ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಬಂದು ಅರಮನೆಯ ಬಾಗಿಲಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಕುಳಿತುಕೊಂಡಿರುವ ಮೊರ್ದೆಕೈ ಎಂಬ ಯೆಹೂದ್ಯನಿಗೆ ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಮಾಡು; ನೀನು ಹೇಳಿದವುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದನ್ನೂ ನೆರವೇರಿಸದೆ ಬಿಡಬೇಡ>> ಎಂದು ಅಪ್ಪಣೆಮಾಡಿದನು. BSB BSB: “Hurry,” said the king to Haman, “and do just as you proposed. Take the robe and the horse to Mordecai the Jew, who is sitting at the king’s gate. Do not neglect anything that you have suggested.”
11 ULB ಹಾಮಾನನು ಆ ವಸ್ತ್ರಗಳನ್ನೂ ಮತ್ತು ಕುದುರೆಯನ್ನೂ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಬಂದು, ಮೊರ್ದೆಕೈಯನ್ನು ಭೂಷಿಸಿ, ಪಟ್ಟಣದ ಬೀದಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಮೆರವಣಿಗೆ ಮಾಡಿಸಿ, ಅವನ ಮುಂದೆ, <<ಅರಸನು ಸನ್ಮಾನಿಸಬೇಕೆಂದಿರುವವನನ್ನು ಗೌರವಿಸುವ ರೀತಿಯು ಇದೇ>> ಎಂದು ಪ್ರಕಟಣೆಮಾಡಿಸಿದನು. BSB BSB: So Haman took the robe and the horse, arrayed Mordecai, and paraded him through the city square, crying out before him, “This is what is done for the man whom the king is delighted to honor!”
12 ULB ಮೊರ್ದೆಕೈಯು ಹಿಂತಿರುಗಿ ಅರಮನೆಯ ಬಾಗಿಲಿಗೆ ಹೋದನು. ಹಾಮಾನನಾದರೋ ದುಃಖದಿಂದ ಮುಖವನ್ನು ಮುಚ್ಚಿಕೊಂಡು ಶೀಘ್ರವಾಗಿ ಮನೆಗೆ ಹೋಗಿ ತನ್ನ ಹೆಂಡತಿಯಾದ ಜೆರೆಷಳ ಮತ್ತು ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಆಪ್ತರ ಮುಂದೆ ತನಗೆ ಸಂಭವಿಸಿದ್ದನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ತಿಳಿಸಿದನು. BSB BSB: Then Mordecai returned to the king’s gate. But Haman rushed home, with his head covered in grief.
13 ULB ಆಗ ಅವನ ಪಂಡಿತರೂ ಮತ್ತು ಹೆಂಡತಿಯೂ ಅವನಿಗೆ, <<ಯಾವನ ಮುಂದೆ ನಿನ್ನ ಸೋಲು ಪ್ರಾರಂಭವಾಯಿತೋ ಆ ಮನುಷ್ಯನು ಯೆಹೂದ ಸಂತಾನದವನಾಗಿದ್ದರೆ ನೀನು ಗೆಲ್ಲಲಾರಿ, ಅವನ ಮುಂದೆ ಬಿದ್ದು ಹಾಳಾಗುವಿ>> ಅಂದರು. BSB BSB: Haman told his wife Zeresh and all his friends everything that had happened. His advisers and his wife Zeresh said to him, “Since Mordecai, before whom your downfall has begun, is Jewish, you will not prevail against him—for surely you will fall before him.”
14 ULB ಅವರು ಇನ್ನೂ ಅವನೊಡನೆ ಮಾತನಾಡುತ್ತಿರುವಾಗಲೇ ರಾಜಕಂಚುಕಿಗಳು ಬಂದು ಎಸ್ತೇರಳು ಮಾಡಿಸಿರುವ ಔತಣಕ್ಕೆ ಬೇಗ ಬರಬೇಕೆಂದು ಹಾಮಾನನನ್ನು ಕರೆದೊಯ್ದರು. BSB BSB: While they were still speaking with Haman, the king’s eunuchs arrived and rushed him to the banquet that Esther had prepared.
