1 ULB ಯೆಹೋವನು ಮೋಶೆಗೆ, <<ನೀನು, ಆರೋನ್, ನಾದಾಬ್, ಅಬೀಹೂ ಹಾಗೂ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರ ಹಿರಿಯರಲ್ಲಿ ಎಪ್ಪತ್ತು ಮಂದಿ ಈ ಬೆಟ್ಟವನ್ನು ಹತ್ತಿ ಯೆಹೋವನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬಂದು ದೂರದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಂತು ಅಡ್ಡಬಿದ್ದು ಆರಾಧಿಸಬೇಕು. BSB BSB: Then the LORD said to Moses, “Come up to the LORD—you and Aaron, Nadab and Abihu, and seventy of Israel’s elders—and you are to worship at a distance.
2 ULB ಮೋಶೆ ಒಬ್ಬನೇ ಯೆಹೋವನ ಸಮೀಪಕ್ಕೆ ಬರಬೇಕೇ ಹೊರತು ಬೇರೆ ಯಾರು ಸಮೀಪಕ್ಕೆ ಬರಬಾರದು. ಮಿಕ್ಕ ಜನರು ಬೆಟ್ಟವನ್ನು ಹತ್ತಲೇಬಾರದು>> ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು. BSB BSB: Moses alone shall approach the LORD, but the others must not come near. And the people may not go up with him.”
5 ULB ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರ ಯೌವನಸ್ಥರಿಗೆ ನೀವು ಯೆಹೋವನಿಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಸರ್ವಾಂಗಹೋಮಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿ ಸಮಾಧಾನ ಯಜ್ಞಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಹೋರಿಗಳನ್ನು ಸಮರ್ಪಿಸಬೇಕೆಂದು ಅಪ್ಪಣೆಕೊಟ್ಟು ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದನು. BSB BSB: Then he sent out some young men of Israel, and they offered burnt offerings and sacrificed young bulls as peace offerings to the LORD.
6 ULB ಅನಂತರ ಮೋಶೆ ಆ ರಕ್ತದಲ್ಲಿ ಅರ್ಧವನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಬಟ್ಟಲುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ತುಂಬಿ ಅರ್ಧವನ್ನು ಯಜ್ಞವೇದಿಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಪ್ರೋಕ್ಷಿಸಿದನು. BSB BSB: Moses took half of the blood and put it in bowls, and the other half he splattered on the altar.
7 ULB ತರುವಾಯ ಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆಯ ಗ್ರಂಥವನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಜನರಿಗೆ ಕೇಳಿಸುವಂತೆ ಓದಿದನು. ಅವರು ಕೇಳಿ, <<ಯೆಹೋವನ ಆಜ್ಞೆಗಳನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ನಾವು ಅನುಸರಿಸಿ ವಿಧೇಯರಾಗುವೆವು>> ಅಂದರು. BSB BSB: Then he took the Book of the Covenant and read it to the people, who replied, “All that the LORD has spoken we will do, and we will be obedient.”
8 ULB ಆಗ ಮೋಶೆಯು ಆ ರಕ್ತವನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಜನರ ಮೇಲೆ ಚಿಮುಕಿಸಿ, <<ಇಗೋ ಈ ಗ್ರಂಥದಲ್ಲಿ ಹೇಳಿರುವ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಆಜ್ಞೆಗಳ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಯೆಹೋವನು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಸಂಗಡ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡ ಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆಯ ರಕ್ತವು ಇದೇ>> ಅಂದನು. BSB BSB: So Moses took the blood, splattered it on the people, and said, “This is the blood of the covenant that the LORD has made with you in accordance with all these words.”
9 ULB ಮೋಶೆ, ಆರೋನ್, ನಾದಾಬ್, ಅಬೀಹೂ ಹಾಗೂ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರ ಹಿರಿಯರಲ್ಲಿ ಎಪ್ಪತ್ತು ಜನರು ಬೆಟ್ಟವನ್ನು ಹತ್ತಿದರು. BSB BSB: Then Moses went up with Aaron, Nadab and Abihu, and seventy of the elders of Israel,
10 ULB ಅವರಿಗೆ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರ ದೇವರ ದರ್ಶನವಾಯಿತು. ಅವರು ದೇವರನ್ನು ನೋಡಿದರು. ಆಕಾಶಮಂಡಲದಂತೆ ಅತಿ ನಿರ್ಮಲವಾದ ಇಂದ್ರನೀಲಮಣಿಯ ನೆಲಗಟ್ಟು ಆತನ ಪಾದಪೀಠವಾಗಿತ್ತು. BSB BSB: and they saw the God of Israel. Under His feet was a work like a pavement made of sapphire, as clear as the sky itself.
11 ULB ಆತನು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರ ಮುಖಂಡರಿಗೆ ಯಾವ ಕೇಡನ್ನೂ ಮಾಡಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಅವರು ದೇವರನ್ನು ನೋಡಿ ಅನ್ನಪಾನಗಳನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡರು. BSB BSB: But God did not lay His hand on the nobles of Israel; they saw Him, and they ate and drank.
12 ULB ಯೆಹೋವನು ಮೋಶೆಗೆ, <<ನೀನು ಬೆಟ್ಟವನ್ನು ಹತ್ತಿ ಬಂದು ನನ್ನ ಹತ್ತಿರದಲ್ಲೇ ಇರು. ನೀನು ಆ ಧರ್ಮಶಾಸ್ತ್ರವನ್ನೂ ಮತ್ತು ಆಜ್ಞೆಗಳನ್ನೂ ಜನರಿಗೆ ಬೋಧಿಸುವಂತೆ ನಾನು ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ಬರೆದಿರುವ ಶಿಲಾಶಾಸನಗಳನ್ನು ನಿನಗೆ ಕೊಡುತ್ತೇನೆ>> ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು. BSB BSB: Then the LORD said to Moses, “Come up to Me on the mountain and stay here, so that I may give you the tablets of stone, with the law and commandments I have written for their instruction.”
13 ULB ಮೋಶೆಯು ತನ್ನ ಶಿಷ್ಯನಾದ ಯೆಹೋಶುವನೊಂದಿಗೆ ಎದ್ದು ದೇವರ ಬೆಟ್ಟದ ಮೇಲಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋದನು. BSB BSB: So Moses set out with Joshua his attendant and went up on the mountain of God.
14 ULB ಇದಕ್ಕೆ ಮೊದಲು ಅವನು ಹಿರಿಯರಿಗೆ, <<ನಾವು ತಿರುಗಿ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬರುವ ತನಕ ನೀವು ಇಲ್ಲೇ ಕಾದುಕೊಂಡಿರಿ. ಆರೋನನು ಮತ್ತು ಹೂರನು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿರುವರು. ಯಾರಿಗಾದರೂ ವ್ಯಾಜ್ಯವಿದ್ದ ಪಕ್ಷಕ್ಕೆ ಅವರ ಹತ್ತಿರಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಗಲಿ>> ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು. BSB BSB: And he said to the elders, “Wait here for us until we return to you. Aaron and Hur are here with you. Whoever has a dispute can go to them.”
15 ULB ಮೋಶೆಯು ಬೆಟ್ಟವನ್ನು ಹತ್ತಿದನು ಮತ್ತು ಮೇಘವು ಬೆಟ್ಟವನ್ನು ಆವರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿತು. BSB BSB: When Moses went up on the mountain, the cloud covered it,
16 ULB ಯೆಹೋವನ ತೇಜಸ್ಸು ಸೀನಾಯಿಬೆಟ್ಟದ ಮೇಲೆ ನೆಲೆಗೊಂಡಿತ್ತು ಮತ್ತು ಆ ಮೇಘವು ಆರು ದಿನಗಳ ವರೆಗೂ ಬೆಟ್ಟವನ್ನು ಆವರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿತ್ತು. ಏಳನೆಯ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ಯೆಹೋವನು ಮೇಘದೊಳಗಿನಿಂದ ಮೋಶೆಯನ್ನು ಕೂಗಿ ಕರೆದನು. BSB BSB: and the glory of the LORD settled on Mount Sinai. For six days the cloud covered it, and on the seventh day the LORD called to Moses from within the cloud.
17 ULB ಯೆಹೋವನ ತೇಜಸ್ಸು ಬೆಟ್ಟದ ತುದಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ದಹಿಸುವ ಬೆಂಕಿಯಂತೆ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರಿಗೆ ಕಾಣಿಸಿತು. BSB BSB: And the sight of the glory of the LORD was like a consuming fire on the mountaintop in the eyes of the Israelites.
18 ULB ಮೋಶೆಯು ಆ ಮೇಘದೊಳಗೆ ಪ್ರವೇಶಿಸಿ ಬೆಟ್ಟವನ್ನೇರಿದನು. ಅವನು ಆ ಬೆಟ್ಟದಲ್ಲಿ ನಲ್ವತ್ತು ದಿನ ಹಗಲಿರುಳು ಆ ಬೆಟ್ಟದಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ಇದ್ದನು. BSB BSB: Moses entered the cloud as he went up on the mountain, and he remained on the mountain forty days and forty nights.
