1 ULB ತರುವಾಯ ಯೆಹೋವನು ಮೋಶೆಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದೇನೆಂದರೆ, <<ನೀನು, ಫರೋಹನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಹೋಗಿ ಅವನಿಗೆ, <ಇಬ್ರಿಯರ ದೇವರಾದ ಯೆಹೋವನು ತನ್ನನ್ನು ಆರಾಧಿಸುವಂತೆ ತನ್ನ ಜನರಿಗೆ ಅಪ್ಪಣೆಕೊಡಬೇಕೆಂಬುದಾಗಿ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದಾನೆ. BSB BSB: Then the LORD said to Moses, “Go to Pharaoh and tell him that this is what the LORD, the God of the Hebrews, says: ‘Let My people go, so that they may worship Me.
2 ULB ನೀನು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಅಪ್ಪಣೆ ಕೊಡದೆ ಇನ್ನೂ ಅವರನ್ನು ತಡೆದರೆ, BSB BSB: But if you continue to restrain them and refuse to let them go,
3 ULB ಯೆಹೋವನು ಅಡವಿಯಲ್ಲಿರುವ ನಿನ್ನ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಪಶುಗಳಿಗೂ, ಕುದುರೆ, ಕತ್ತೆ, ಒಂಟೆ, ದನ, ಕುರಿ, ಆಡು ಇವೆಲ್ಲವುಗಳಿಗೂ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ತನ್ನ ಕೈಯನ್ನು ಎತ್ತಿ ಘೋರವ್ಯಾಧಿಯನ್ನು ಉಂಟುಮಾಡುವನೆಂದು ತಿಳಿದುಕೋ. BSB BSB: then the hand of the LORD will bring a severe plague on your livestock in the field—on your horses, donkeys, camels, herds, and flocks.
4 ULB ಯೆಹೋವನು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರ ಪಶುಗಳಿಗೂ, ಐಗುಪ್ತರ ಪಶುಗಳಿಗೂ ವ್ಯತ್ಯಾಸವನ್ನುಂಟು ಮಾಡುವನು. ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರಿಗಿರುವ ಪಶುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದೂ ಸಾಯುವುದಿಲ್ಲ> ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಬೇಕು>> ಎಂದನು. BSB BSB: But the LORD will make a distinction between the livestock of Israel and the livestock of Egypt, so that no animal belonging to the Israelites will die.’”
5 ULB ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಯೆಹೋವನು, <<ನಿರ್ದಿಷ್ಟವಾದ ಸಮಯವನ್ನು ನೇಮಿಸಿ, ನಾಳೆಯೇ ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯವನ್ನು ಈ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾಡುವನು ಎಂದು ಹೇಳು>> ಎಂದನು. BSB BSB: The LORD set a time, saying, “Tomorrow the LORD will do this in the land.”
6 ULB ಮರುದಿನ ಯೆಹೋವನು ಆ ಕಾರ್ಯವುಂಟಾಗುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡಿದನು. ಐಗುಪ್ತ್ಯರ ಪಶುಗಳೆಲ್ಲಾ ಸತ್ತುಹೋದವು. ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರ ಪಶುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದೂ ಸಾಯಲಿಲ್ಲ. BSB BSB: And the next day the LORD did just that. All the livestock of the Egyptians died, but not one animal belonging to the Israelites died.
7 ULB ಫರೋಹನು ವಿಚಾರಿಸಿದಾಗ, ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ಯರ ಪಶುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದೂ ಸಾಯಲಿಲ್ಲವೆಂಬುದನ್ನು ತಿಳಿದುಕೊಂಡನು. ಆದರೂ ಫರೋಹನ ಹೃದಯವು ಕಠಿಣವಾಗಿದ್ದರಿಂದ ಆ ಜನರಿಗೆ ಹೋಗುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಅಪ್ಪಣೆಕೊಡಲಿಲ್ಲ. BSB BSB: Pharaoh sent officials and found that none of the livestock of the Israelites had died. But Pharaoh’s heart was hardened, and he would not let the people go.
8 ULB ಯೆಹೋವನು ಮೋಶೆ ಮತ್ತು ಆರೋನರಿಗೆ, <<ನೀವು ಒಲೆಯ ಬೂದಿಯನ್ನು ಕೈತುಂಬಾ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳಿರಿ. ಮೋಶೆ ಅದನ್ನು ಫರೋಹನ ಕಣ್ಣುಗಳ ಮುಂದೆ ಆಕಾಶದ ಕಡೆಗೆ ತೂರಲಿ. BSB BSB: Then the LORD said to Moses and Aaron, “Take handfuls of soot from the furnace; in the sight of Pharaoh, Moses is to toss it into the air.
9 ULB ಆಗ ಅದು ಐಗುಪ್ತ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲೆಲ್ಲಾ ಧೂಳಿನ ಕಣಗಳಾಗಿ ಮಾರ್ಪಟ್ಟು ಅದು ಐಗುಪ್ತ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲೆಲ್ಲಾ ಮನುಷ್ಯರ ಮೇಲೆಯೂ ಪಶುಗಳ ಮೇಲೆಯೂ ಹುಣ್ಣುಗಳಾಗುವ ಬೊಕ್ಕೆಗಳು ಏಳುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡುವವು>> ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು. BSB BSB: It will become fine dust over all the land of Egypt, and festering boils will break out on man and beast throughout the land.”
10 ULB ಅದರಂತೆ ಮೋಶೆ ಮತ್ತು ಆರೋನರು ಒಲೆಯ ಬೂದಿಯನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಫರೋಹನ ಮುಂದೆ ನಿಂತರು. ಮೋಶೆಯು ಆ ಬೂದಿಯನ್ನು ಆಕಾಶದ ಕಡೆಗೆ ತೂರಿದನು. ಆಗ ಅದು ಮನುಷ್ಯರ ಮೇಲೆಯೂ, ಪಶುಗಳ ಮೇಲೆಯೂ ಹರಡಿ ಹುಣ್ಣುಗಳಾಗುವಂತೆ ಬೊಕ್ಕೆಗಳನ್ನೆಬ್ಬಿಸಿತು. BSB BSB: So they took soot from the furnace and stood before Pharaoh. Moses tossed it into the air, and festering boils broke out on man and beast.
11 ULB ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಮಂತ್ರಗಾರರು, ಹುಣ್ಣುಗಳ ದೆಸೆಯಿಂದ ಮೋಶೆಯ ಮುಂದೆ ನಿಲ್ಲಲಾರದೆ ಹೋದರು. ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಹುಣ್ಣುಗಳು ಮಂತ್ರಗಾರರ ಮೇಲೆಯೂ, ಐಗುಪ್ತ್ಯರ ಮೇಲೆಯೂ ಎದ್ದಿದ್ದವು. BSB BSB: The magicians could not stand before Moses, because the boils had broken out on them and on all the Egyptians.
12 ULB ಆದರೂ ಯೆಹೋವನು ಮೋಶೆಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದಂತೆಯೇ ಆಯಿತು. ಯೆಹೋವನು ಫರೋಹನ ಹೃದಯವನ್ನು ಕಠಿಣಮಾಡಿದ್ದರಿಂದ ಅವನು ಅವರ ಮಾತಿಗೆ ಕಿವಿಗೊಡದೆ ಹೋದನು. BSB BSB: But the LORD hardened Pharaoh’s heart, and he would not listen to them, just as the LORD had said to Moses.
13 ULB ತರುವಾಯ ಯೆಹೋವನು ಮೋಶೆಗೆ, <<ನೀನು ಬೆಳಿಗ್ಗೆ ಎದ್ದು ಫರೋಹನ ಮುಂದೆ ನಿಂತುಕೊಂಡು ಅವನಿಗೆ, <ಇಬ್ರಿಯರ ದೇವರಾದ ಯೆಹೋವನು ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸುವುದೇನೆಂದರೆ, ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಆರಾಧಿಸುವಂತೆ ನನ್ನ ಜನರಿಗೆ ಅಪ್ಪಣೆಕೊಡಬೇಕು. BSB BSB: Then the LORD said to Moses, “Get up early in the morning, stand before Pharaoh, and tell him that this is what the LORD, the God of the Hebrews, says: ‘Let My people go, so that they may worship Me.
14 ULB ಈ ಸಾರಿ ನಾನು ನನ್ನ ವಶದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಈ ಬಾಧೆಗಳನ್ನು ನಿನ್ನ ಪ್ರಜಾಪರಿವಾರದವರಿಗೆ ಉಂಟಾಗುವಂತೆಯೂ, ನಿನ್ನ ಹೃದಯಕ್ಕೂ ತಗಲುವಂತೆಯೂ ಮಾಡುವೆನು. ಆದುದರಿಂದ ಸಮಸ್ತ ಲೋಕದಲ್ಲಿ ನನಗೆ ಸಮಾನರು ಬೇರೆ ಯಾರೂ ಇಲ್ಲವೆಂದು ನನ್ನ ವಿಷಯದಲ್ಲಿ ತಿಳಿದುಕೊಳ್ಳುವಿ. BSB BSB: Otherwise, I will send all My plagues against you and your officials and your people, so you may know that there is no one like Me in all the earth.
15 ULB ನಾನು ಕೈಯನ್ನೆತ್ತಿ ನಿನ್ನನ್ನೂ, ನಿನ್ನ ಪ್ರಜೆಗಳನ್ನೂ, ವ್ಯಾಧಿಯಿಂದ ಬಾಧಿಸುವೆನು. ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಭೂಮಿಯೊಳಗಿಂದ ನಿರ್ಮೂಲ ಮಾಡುವೆನು. BSB BSB: For by this time I could have stretched out My hand and struck you and your people with a plague to wipe you off the earth.
16 ULB ಆದರೆ ನಾನು ನಿನ್ನಲ್ಲಿ ನನ್ನ ಶಕ್ತಿಯನ್ನು ತೋರಿಸಿ, ನನ್ನ ಹೆಸರನ್ನು ಲೋಕದಲ್ಲೆಲ್ಲಾ ಪ್ರಸಿದ್ಧಿಪಡಿಸಬೇಕೆಂಬ ಉದ್ದೇಶದಿಂದಲೇ ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಸಾಯಿಸದೇ ಉಳಿಸಿರುವೆನು. BSB BSB: But I have raised you up for this very purpose, that I might display My power to you, and that My name might be proclaimed in all the earth.
17 ULB ನೀನು ನನ್ನ ಜನರನ್ನು ಇನ್ನೂ ಹೋಗಗೊಡಿಸದೆ ಅವರ ಮುಂದೆ, ಅಡ್ಡಿ ಆತಂಕಗಳನ್ನು ಒಡ್ಡುತ್ತಿರುವೆಯಾ? BSB BSB: Still, you lord it over My people and do not allow them to go.
18 ULB ಹಾಗಾದರೆ, ನಾಳೆ ಇಷ್ಟು ಹೊತ್ತಿಗೆ ವಿಪರೀತವಾದ ಆನೆಕಲ್ಲಿನ ಮಳೆ ಬೀಳುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡುವೆನು. ಐಗುಪ್ತ ರಾಜ್ಯವು ಸ್ಥಾಪಿತವಾದ ದಿನ ಮೊದಲುಗೊಂಡು ಇಂದಿನವರೆಗೂ ಅಂಥ ಕಲ್ಲಿನ ಮಳೆ ಬಿದ್ದಿರುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. BSB BSB: Behold, at this time tomorrow I will rain down the worst hail that has ever fallen on Egypt, from the day it was founded until now.
19 ULB ಆದಕಾರಣ ನೀನು ಆಳುಗಳನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸಿ ನಿನ್ನ ಪಶುಗಳನ್ನೂ, ನಿನಗೆ ಹೊಲದಲ್ಲಿರುವುದೆಲ್ಲವನ್ನೂ ಬೇಗ ಭದ್ರಪಡಿಸು. ಮನೆಯೊಳಗೆ ಬಾರದೆ ಬಯಲಿನಲ್ಲೇ ಇರುವ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಮನುಷ್ಯರೂ, ಪಶುಗಳೂ ಆ ಕಲ್ಲಿನ ಮಳೆಯ ಹೊಡೆತದಿಂದ ಸಾಯುವರು>>> ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು. BSB BSB: So give orders now to shelter your livestock and everything you have in the field. Every man or beast that remains in the field and is not brought inside will die when the hail comes down upon them.’”
20 ULB ಆಗ ಫರೋಹನ ಸೇವಕರಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾರಾರು ಯೆಹೋವನ ಮಾತಿಗೆ ಹೆದರಿದರೋ ಅವರು ತಮ್ಮ ಆಳುಗಳನ್ನೂ ಪಶುಗಳನ್ನೂ ಬೇಗ ಮನೆಗೆ ಬರಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡರು. BSB BSB: Those among Pharaoh’s officials who feared the word of the LORD hurried to bring their servants and livestock to shelter,
21 ULB ಯಾರು ಯೆಹೋವನ ಮಾತನ್ನು ಮನಸ್ಸಿಗೆ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳಲಿಲ್ಲವೋ, ಅವರು ತಮ್ಮ ಆಳುಗಳನ್ನೂ, ಪಶುಗಳನ್ನೂ ಹೊಲದಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ಬಿಟ್ಟರು. BSB BSB: but those who disregarded the word of the LORD left their servants and livestock in the field.
22 ULB ಯೆಹೋವನು ಮೋಶೆಗೆ, <<ಆಕಾಶಕ್ಕೆ ನಿನ್ನ ಕೈಚಾಚು, ಆಗ ಐಗುಪ್ತ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲೆಲ್ಲಾ ಮನುಷ್ಯರ ಮೇಲೆಯೂ, ಪಶುಗಳ ಮೇಲೆಯೂ, ಹೊಲದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಪೈರುಗಳ ಮೇಲೆಯೂ ಆನೆಕಲ್ಲಿನ ಮಳೆ ಬೀಳುವುದು>> ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು. BSB BSB: Then the LORD said to Moses, “Stretch out your hand toward heaven, so that hail may fall on all the land of Egypt—on man and beast and every plant of the field throughout the land of Egypt.”
23 ULB ಮೋಶೆಯು ತನ್ನ ಕೋಲನ್ನು ಆಕಾಶದ ಕಡೆಗೆ ಚಾಚಿದಾಗ ಯೆಹೋವನು ಗುಡುಗನ್ನು, ಆನೆಕಲ್ಲಿನ ಮಳೆಯನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದನು. ಸಿಡಿಲುಗಳು ನೆಲಕ್ಕೆ ಅಪ್ಪಳಿಸಿದವು. ಯೆಹೋವನು ಐಗುಪ್ತ ದೇಶದ ಮೇಲೆ ಆನೆಕಲ್ಲಿನ ಮಳೆಯನ್ನು ಸುರಿಸಿದನು. BSB BSB: So Moses stretched out his staff toward heaven, and the LORD sent thunder and hail, and lightning struck the earth. So the LORD rained down hail upon the land of Egypt.
24 ULB ಆನೆಕಲ್ಲಿನ ಮಳೆಯು ಬಹು ರಭಸವಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಅದರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಮಿಂಚು ಫಳಫಳನೆ ಹೊಳೆಯುತಿತ್ತು. ಐಗುಪ್ತ್ಯದವರು ಒಂದು ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರವಾದಂದಿನಿಂದ ಆ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಅಂಥ ಘೋರವಾದ ಆನೆಕಲ್ಲಿನ ಮಳೆ ಆಗಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ. BSB BSB: The hail fell and the lightning continued flashing through it. The hail was so severe that nothing like it had ever been seen in all the land of Egypt from the time it became a nation.
25 ULB ಆ ಮಳೆಯಿಂದ ಐಗುಪ್ತ ದೇಶದ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಕಡೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ಮನುಷ್ಯರು, ಪಶುಗಳು, ಬಯಲಿನಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ಎಲ್ಲವೂ ನಾಶವಾದವು. ಆನೆಕಲ್ಲಿನ ಮಳೆಯಿಂದ ಹೊಲಗಳಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ಪೈರುಗಳು ಹಾಳಾದವು. ಹೊಲಗಳಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ಮರಗಳು ಮುರಿದುಹೋದವು. BSB BSB: Throughout the land of Egypt, the hail struck down everything in the field, both man and beast; it beat down every plant of the field and stripped every tree.
26 ULB ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರು ವಾಸವಾಗಿದ್ದ ಗೋಷೆನ್ ಸೀಮೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾತ್ರ ಆನೆಕಲ್ಲಿನ ಮಳೆ ಬೀಳಲಿಲ್ಲ. BSB BSB: The only place where it did not hail was in the land of Goshen, where the Israelites lived.
27 ULB ಆಗ ಫರೋಹನು ಮೋಶೆ ಆರೋನರನ್ನು ಕರೆಯಿಸಿ ಅವರಿಗೆ, <<ನಾನು ಅಪರಾಧಿಯೆಂದು ಈಗ ಒಪ್ಪಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತೇನೆ. ಯೆಹೋವನು ನ್ಯಾಯವಂತನು. ನಾನೂ ನನ್ನ ಜನರೂ ದೋಷಿಗಳು. BSB BSB: Then Pharaoh summoned Moses and Aaron. “This time I have sinned,” he said. “The LORD is righteous, and I and my people are wicked.
28 ULB ಈ ಭಯಂಕರವಾದ ಗುಡುಗು ಮತ್ತು ಆನೆಕಲ್ಲಿನ ಮಳೆಯೂ ಬಹಳ ಹೆಚ್ಚಾದವು. ಇವುಗಳನ್ನು ನಿಲ್ಲಿಸುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಯೆಹೋವನನ್ನು ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥಿಸಿರಿ. ಈ ದೇಶವನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟು ಹೊರಡುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ನಿಮಗೆ ಅಪ್ಪಣೆ ಕೊಡುತ್ತೇನೆ. ಇನ್ನು ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ತಡೆಯುವುದಿಲ್ಲ>> ಎಂದನು. BSB BSB: Pray to the LORD, for there has been enough of God’s thunder and hail. I will let you go; you do not need to stay any longer.”
29 ULB ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಮೋಶೆ, <<ನಾನು ಈ ಪಟ್ಟಣದಿಂದಾಚೆಗೆ ಹೋದ ಕೂಡಲೇ ಕೈಯೆತ್ತಿ ಯೆಹೋವನನ್ನು ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥಿಸುವೆನು. ಆಗ ಗುಡುಗು ಮತ್ತು ಆನೆಕಲ್ಲಿನ ಮಳೆಯು ನಿಂತುಹೋಗುವದು. ಇದರಿಂದ ಸಮಸ್ತ ಭೂಲೋಕವು ಯೆಹೋವನ ಅಧೀನದಲ್ಲಿದೆ ಎಂದು ನೀನು ತಿಳಿದುಕೊಳ್ಳುವಿ. BSB BSB: Moses said to him, “When I have left the city, I will spread out my hands to the LORD. The thunder will cease, and there will be no more hail, so that you may know that the earth is the LORD’s.
30 ULB ಆದರೂ ನೀನಾಗಲಿ, ನಿನ್ನ ಪರಿವಾರದವರಾಗಲಿ, ದೇವರಾಗಿರುವ ಯೆಹೋವನಿಗೆ ಆಗಲೂ ಭಯಪಡುವುದಿಲ್ಲವೆಂದು ಬಲ್ಲೆನು>> ಎಂದನು. BSB BSB: But as for you and your officials, I know that you still do not fear the LORD our God.”
31 ULB ಜವೆಗೋದಿ ಮತ್ತು ಅಗಸೆ ಬೆಳೆಗಳು ನಾಶವಾದವು. ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಜವೆಗೋದಿ ತೆನೆ ಬಿಟ್ಟಿತ್ತು, ಅಗಸೆ ಮೊಗ್ಗು ಬಿಟ್ಟಿತ್ತು. BSB BSB: (Now the flax and barley were destroyed, since the barley was ripe and the flax was in bloom;
32 ULB ಆದರೆ ಗೋದಿ ಮತ್ತು ಕಡಲೆ ಹಿಂದಿನ ಬೆಳೆಗಳಾಗಿದ್ದುದರಿಂದ ಅವುಗಳಿಗೆ ಹಾನಿಯಾಗಲಿಲ್ಲ. BSB BSB: but the wheat and spelt were not destroyed, because they are late crops.)
33 ULB ಮೋಶೆಯು ಫರೋಹನನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟು ಪಟ್ಟಣದಿಂದ ಹೊರಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದು ಕೈಯನ್ನೆತ್ತಿ ಯೆಹೋವನನ್ನು ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥಿಸಿದನು. ಗುಡುಗೂ, ಆನೆಕಲ್ಲಿನ ಮಳೆಯೂ ನಿಂತುಹೋದವು. BSB BSB: Then Moses departed from Pharaoh, went out of the city, and spread out his hands to the LORD. The thunder and hail ceased, and the rain no longer poured down on the land.
34 ULB ಆದರೆ ಆನೆಕಲ್ಲು ಮಳೆ, ಗುಡುಗು ನಿಂತುಹೋದದ್ದನ್ನು ಫರೋಹನು ಕಂಡಾಗ ಅವನೂ, ಅವನ ಪರಿವಾರದವರೂ ತಮ್ಮ ಹೃದಯಗಳನ್ನು ಕಠಿಣಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡು ಇನ್ನೂ ಪಾಪ ಮಾಡಿದರು. BSB BSB: When Pharaoh saw that the rain and hail and thunder had ceased, he sinned again and hardened his heart—he and his officials.
35 ULB ಯೆಹೋವನು ಮೋಶೆಯಿಂದ ಹೇಳಿಸಿದಂತೆಯೇ ಆಯಿತು. ಫರೋಹನ ಹೃದಯವು ಕಠಿಣವಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಅವನು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರನ್ನು ಹೋಗಲು ಬಿಡಲಿಲ್ಲ. BSB BSB: So Pharaoh’s heart was hardened, and he would not let the Israelites go, just as the LORD had said through Moses.
