Ezekiel 40 (ULB)

1ನಾವು ಸೆರೆಯಾದ ಇಪ್ಪತ್ತೈದನೆಯ ವರ್ಷದ, ಮೊದಲನೆಯ ತಿಂಗಳಿನ, ಹತ್ತನೆಯ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ, ಪಟ್ಟಣವು ಹಾಳಾದ ಮೇಲೆ ಹದಿನಾಲ್ಕನೆಯ ವರ್ಷದ ಆ ದಿನದಲ್ಲೇ ಯೆಹೋವನ ಹಸ್ತಸ್ಪರ್ಶದಿಂದ ನಾನು ಪರವಶನಾಗಲು, ಆತನು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಅಲ್ಲಿಗೆ ಬರಮಾಡಿದನು.In the twenty-fifth year of our exile, at the beginning of the year, on the tenth day of the month—in the fourteenth year after Jerusalem had been struck down—on that very day the hand of the LORD was upon me, and He took me there.

2ಯೆಹೋವನು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ ದೇಶಕ್ಕೆ ತಂದು, ಅತ್ಯುನ್ನತ ಪರ್ವತದ ಮೇಲೆ ಇಳಿಸಿದನೆಂದು ದೇವರ ದರ್ಶನದಲ್ಲಿ ನನಗೆ ಕಂಡುಬಂದಿತು. ದಕ್ಷಿಣದ ಕಡೆ ಆ ಪರ್ವತದ ಮೇಲೆ ಪಟ್ಟಣದಂತಿರುವ ಕಟ್ಟಡಗಳು ಕಾಣಿಸಿತು.In visions of God He took me to the land of Israel and set me on a very high mountain, on whose southern slope was a structure that resembled a city.

3ಆಮೇಲೆ ಆತನು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಅಲ್ಲಿಗೆ ತಂದಾಗ, ಇಗೋ, ತಾಮ್ರದಂತೆ ಹೊಳೆಯುವ ಒಬ್ಬ ಪುರುಷನು ನಾರಿನ ನೂಲನ್ನು, ಅಳತೆಯ ಕೋಲನ್ನೂ ಕೈಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹಿಡಿದುಕೊಂಡು ಬಾಗಿಲಲ್ಲೇ ನಿಂತುಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದನು.So He took me there, and I saw a man whose appearance was like bronze. He was standing in the gateway with a linen cord and a measuring rod in his hand.

4ಆ ಪುರುಷನು ನನಗೆ, <<ನರಪುತ್ರನೇ, ನೀನು ಕಣ್ಣಿಟ್ಟು ನೋಡು, ಕಿವಿಗೊಟ್ಟು ಕೇಳು; ನಾನು ನಿನಗೆ ತೋರಿಸುವುದನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಮನಸ್ಸಿಟ್ಟು ತಿಳಿದುಕೋ. ನಾನು ನಿನಗೆ ತೋರಿಸುವುದನ್ನು ನೀನು ನೋಡಬೇಕೆಂದೇ ಇಲ್ಲಿಗೆ ಬರಮಾಡಿದ್ದೇನೆ. ನೀನು ನೋಡುವುದನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ ವಂಶದವರಿಗೆ ಪ್ರಕಟಿಸು>> ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.“Son of man,” he said to me, “look with your eyes, hear with your ears, and pay attention to everything I am going to show you, for that is why you have been brought here. Report to the house of Israel everything you see.”

5ಇಗೋ, ಒಂದು ಗೋಡೆಯು ಆ ಕಟ್ಟಡವನ್ನು ಸುತ್ತಿಕೊಂಡಿತ್ತು. ಆ ಪುರುಷನ ಕೈಯಲ್ಲಿ ಆರು ಮೊಳ ಉದ್ದದ ಅಳತೆ ಕೋಲು ಇತ್ತು. (ಉದ್ದಮೊಳ ಅಂದರೆ ಮೊಳದ ಮೇಲೆ ಒಂದು ಹಿಡಿ ಉದ್ದ); ಅವನು ಆ ಗೋಡೆಯ ಅಗಲವನ್ನು ಅಳತೆ ಮಾಡಿದಾಗ ಅದರ ಅಗಲವೂ ಮತ್ತು ಎತ್ತರವೂ ಒಂದೇ ಕೋಲಾಗಿತ್ತು.And I saw a wall surrounding the temple area. Now the length of the measuring rod in the man’s hand was six long cubits (each measuring a cubit and a handbreadth), and he measured the wall to be one rod thick and one rod high.

6ಆಮೇಲೆ ಅವನು ಪೂರ್ವದಿಕ್ಕಿನ ಹೆಬ್ಬಾಗಿಲಿಗೆ ಬಂದು, ಮೆಟ್ಟಿಲುಗಳನ್ನು ಹತ್ತಿ, ಹೊಸ್ತಿಲಿನ ಅಗಲವನ್ನು ಅಳೆದನು. ಅದು ಒಂದೇ ಕೋಲು ಅಗಲವಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಅಗಲವಾದ ಹೊಸ್ತಿಲಿನ ಬಾಗಿಲೂ ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಇತ್ತು.Then he came to the gate facing east and climbed its steps. He measured the threshold of the gate to be one rod deep.

The inner threshold of the gate by the portico facing inward was one rod deep.

8ಆಮೇಲೆ ಅವನು ಹೆಬ್ಬಾಗಿಲ ಕೈಸಾಲೆಯ ಅಗಲವನ್ನು ಅಳೆದನು. ಅದು ಒಂದು ಕೋಲು ಉದ್ದವಾಗಿತ್ತು.Then he measured the portico of the gateway inside;

9ಆಮೇಲೆ ಅವನು ಹೆಬ್ಬಾಗಿಲ ಕೈಸಾಲೆಯನ್ನು ಎಂಟು ಮೊಳವೆಂದೂ; ಅದರ ಕಂಬಗಳನ್ನು ಎರಡು ಮೊಳವೆಂದೂ ಅಳೆದನು. ಹೆಬ್ಬಾಗಿಲಿನ ಕೈಸಾಲೆಯು ದೇವಸ್ಥಾನಕ್ಕೆ ಎದುರಾಗಿತ್ತು.it was eight cubits deep, and its jambs were two cubits thick. And the portico of the gateway faced the temple.

10ಪೂರ್ವದಿಕ್ಕಿನ ಹೆಬ್ಬಾಗಿಲಿನ ಎರಡು ಪಕ್ಕಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಮೂರು ಗೋಡೆಕೋಣೆಗಳಿದ್ದವು. ಆ ಮೂರಕ್ಕೂ ಒಂದೇ ಅಳತೆ ಇತ್ತು. ಎರಡು ಪಕ್ಕಗಳಲ್ಲಿನ ಕಂಬಗಳೂ ಒಂದೇ ಅಳತೆಯಾಗಿದ್ದವು.There were three gate chambers on each side of the east gate, each with the same measurements, and the gateposts on either side also had the same measurements.

11ಅನಂತರ ಅವನು ಹೆಬ್ಬಾಗಿಲ ದ್ವಾರದ ಅಗಲ ಹತ್ತು ಮೊಳವೆಂದೂ ಉದ್ದ ಹದಿಮೂರು ಮೊಳವೆಂದೂ ಅಳೆದನು.And he measured the width of the gateway entrance to be ten cubits, and its length was thirteen cubits.

12ಎರಡು ಪಕ್ಕಗಳಲ್ಲಿನ ಗೋಡೆಕೋಣೆಗಳ ಮುಂದೆ ಒಂದೊಂದು ಮೊಳ ಅವಕಾಶ; ಎರಡು ಕಡೆಯ ಗೋಡೆಕೋಣೆಗಳ ಅಗಲವು ಮೂರು ಮೊಳ.In front of each gate chamber was a wall one cubit high, and the gate chambers were six cubits square.

13ಅವನು ಒಂದು ಕಡೆಯ ಗೋಡೆಕೋಣೆಗಳ ಮಾಳಿಗೆಯ ಹೊರಗಡೆಯಿಂದ ಇನ್ನೊಂದು ಕಡೆಯ ಗೋಡೆಕೋಣೆಗಳ ಮಾಳಿಗೆಯ ಹೊರಗಡೆ ಅಂದರೆ ಒಂದು ಕೋಣೆಯ ಬಾಗಿಲಿಂದ ಇನ್ನೊಂದು ಕೋಣೆಯ ಬಾಗಿಲಿಗೆ ಹೆಬ್ಬಾಗಿಲಿನ ಅಗಲವನ್ನು ಅಳೆಯಲು ಇಪ್ಪತ್ತೈದು ಮೊಳವಾಗಿತ್ತು.Then he measured the gateway from the roof of one gate chamber to the roof of the opposite one; the distance was twenty-five cubits from doorway to doorway.

14ಅಂಗಳದಲ್ಲಿನ ಕಂಬಗಳನ್ನು ಅಳತೆ ಮಾಡಲು ಅರವತ್ತು ಮೊಳವಿದ್ದವು; ಅದನ್ನು ಹೆಬ್ಬಾಗಿಲಿನ ಸುತ್ತುಮುತ್ತಲಿರುವ ಕಂಬದವರೆಗೂ ಅಳೆದನು.Next he measured the gateposts to be sixty cubits high. The gateway extended around to the gatepost of the courtyard.

15ಪ್ರವೇಶದ ಬಾಗಿಲಿನ ಮುಂದುಗಡೆಯಿಂದ ಒಳ ಬಾಗಿಲಿನ ದ್ವಾರದ ಅಂಗಳದವರೆಗೂ ಐವತ್ತು ಮೊಳ ಉದ್ದವಾಗಿತ್ತು.And the distance from the entrance of the gateway to the far end of its inner portico was fifty cubits.

16ಗೋಡೆ ಕೋಣೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಒಳ ಎರಡು ಕಡೆಯ ನಿಲುವು ಕಂಬಗಳಲ್ಲಿಯೂ, ಕೈಸಾಲೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಸಹ ಒಳಗಡೆ ಸುತ್ತಲೂ ಇಕ್ಕಟಾದ ಕಿಟಕಿಗಳಿದ್ದವು. ಒಂದೊಂದು ಗೋಡೆಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಖರ್ಜೂರ ಮರಗಳ ಚಿತ್ರಗಳಿದ್ದವು.The gate chambers and their side pillars had beveled windows all around the inside of the gateway. The porticos also had windows all around on the inside. Each side pillar was decorated with palm trees.

17ಆ ಮೇಲೆ ಅವನು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಹೊರಗಿನ ಅಂಗಳಕ್ಕೆ ಕರೆದು ತಂದನು; ಇಗೋ, ಕೋಣೆಗಳೂ ಅಂಗಳದ ಸುತ್ತಲೂ ಕಲ್ಲುಹಾಸಿದ ನೆಲವೂ ಕಾಣಿಸಿದವು; ಕಲ್ಲುಹಾಸಿದ ನೆಲದ ಮೇಲೆ ಒಟ್ಟಾಗಿ ಮೂವತ್ತು ಕೊಠಡಿಗಳಿದ್ದವು.Then he brought me into the outer court, and there were chambers and a pavement laid out all around the court. Thirty chambers faced the pavement,

18ಆ ಕೆಳಗಣ ಕಲ್ಲುಹಾಸಿದ ನೆಲವೂ ಹೆಬ್ಬಾಗಿಲುಗಳ ಎರಡು ಪಕ್ಕಗಳವರೆಗೂ ಹಾಸಲ್ಪಟಿತ್ತು. ಅದರ ಅಗಲವೂ ಬಾಗಿಲುಗಳ ಉದ್ದಕ್ಕೆ ಸಮನಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಇದು ಕೆಳಗಿನ ಕಲ್ಲುಹಾಸಿದ ನೆಲವಾಗಿತ್ತು.which flanked the gateways and corresponded to the length of the gates; this was the lower pavement.

21ಅದರೊಳಗೆ ಎರಡು ಕಡೆ ಮೂರು ಗೋಡೆಕೋಣೆಗಳಿದ್ದವು; ಅಲ್ಲಿನ ಕಂಬಗಳೂ ಕೈಸಾಲೆಯೂ ಮೊದಲನೆಯ ಹೆಬ್ಬಾಗಿಲಿನ ಅಳತೆಯಂತಿದ್ದವು. ಆ ಹೆಬ್ಬಾಗಿಲಿನ ಉದ್ದವೂ ಐವತ್ತು ಮೊಳ, ಅಗಲವೂ ಇಪ್ಪತ್ತೈದು ಮೊಳವಾಗಿತ್ತು.Its three gate chambers on each side, its side pillars, and its portico all had the same measurements as the first gate: fifty cubits long and twenty-five cubits wide.

He measured the distance from gateway to gateway to be a hundred cubits.

He measured its side pillars and portico, and they had the same measurements as the others.

25ಅದರ ಕೈಸಾಲೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಸುತ್ತಲೂ ಕಿಟಕಿಗಳೇ ಇದ್ದವು; ಅದರ ಉದ್ದವೂ ಐವತ್ತು ಮೊಳ ಮತ್ತು ಅಗಲವೂ ಇಪ್ಪತ್ತೈದು ಮೊಳವಾಗಿತ್ತು.Both the gateway and its portico had windows all around, like the other windows. It was fifty cubits long and twenty-five cubits wide.

26ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಹತ್ತುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಏಳು ಮೆಟ್ಟಿಲುಗಳಿದ್ದವು. ಕೈಸಾಲೆಯ ಎರಡು ಪಕ್ಕದ ಕಂಬಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಖರ್ಜೂರ ಮರಗಳ ಚಿತ್ರಗಳಿದ್ದವು.Seven steps led up to it, and its portico was opposite them; it had palm trees on its side pillars, one on each side.

27ಒಳಗಿನ ಅಂಗಳದಲ್ಲಿ ದಕ್ಷಿಣದ ಕಡೆಗೆ ಹೆಬ್ಬಾಗಿಲಿತ್ತು; ದಕ್ಷಿಣದ ಒಂದು ಬಾಗಿಲಿಂದ ಮತ್ತೊಂದು ಬಾಗಿಲಿಗೆ ನೂರು ಮೊಳ ಅಳೆದನು.The inner court also had a gate facing south, and he measured the distance from gateway to gateway toward the south to be a hundred cubits.

28ಆಮೇಲೆ ಅವನು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ದಕ್ಷಿಣ ಬಾಗಿಲಿನ ಮಾರ್ಗವಾಗಿ ಒಳಗಣ ಅಂಗಳಕ್ಕೆ ಕರೆದು ತಂದನು. ಅವನು ಆ ದಕ್ಷಿಣ ಹೆಬ್ಬಾಗಿಲನ್ನೂ, ಅಲ್ಲಿನ ಗೋಡೆಕೋಣೆ, ಕಂಬ, ಕೈಸಾಲೆ ಇವುಗಳನ್ನೂ ಅಳೆಯಲು, ಅದರ ಅಳತೆಗಳೆಲ್ಲ ಸಮನಾಗಿದ್ದವು.Next he brought me into the inner court through the south gate, and he measured the south gate; it had the same measurements as the others.

30ಸುತ್ತುಮುತ್ತಲಿನ ಕೈಸಾಲೆಗಳ ಉದ್ದ ಇಪ್ಪತ್ತೈದು ಮೊಳ ಮತ್ತು ಅಗಲ ಐದು ಮೊಳವಾಗಿತ್ತು.(The porticoes around the inner court were twenty-five cubits long and five cubits deep.)

38ಹೆಬ್ಬಾಗಿಲ ಕಂಬಗಳ ಪಕ್ಕದಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದು ಕೋಣೆಯೂ, ಅದರ ದ್ವಾರವೂ ಕಾಣಿಸಿದವು. ಆ ಕೋಣೆಯೊಳಗೆ ಸರ್ವಾಂಗಹೋಮ ಪಶುಗಳ ಮಾಂಸವನ್ನು ತೊಳೆಯುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು.There was a chamber with a doorway by the portico in each of the inner gateways. There the burnt offering was to be washed.

39ಹೆಬ್ಬಾಗಿಲಿನ ಕೈಸಾಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಎರಡು ಕಡೆಯಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಎರಡೆರಡು ಪೀಠಗಳಿದ್ದವು; ಅವುಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ಸರ್ವಾಂಗಹೋಮ ಪಶು, ದೋಷಪರಿಹಾರಕ ಯಜ್ಞ ಪಶು, ಪ್ರಾಯಶ್ಚಿತ್ತಯಜ್ಞ ಪಶು ಇವುಗಳನ್ನು ವಧಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು.Inside the portico of the gateway were two tables on each side, on which the burnt offerings, sin offerings, and guilt offerings were to be slaughtered.

40ಉತ್ತರದ ಹೆಬ್ಬಾಗಿಲಿನ ಪ್ರವೇಶ ಸ್ಥಾನದ ಮೆಟ್ಟಿಲುಗಳ ಹತ್ತಿರ ಎರಡು ಪೀಠಗಳು ಇದ್ದವು.Outside, as one goes up to the entrance of the north gateway, there were two tables on one side and two more tables on the other side of the gate’s portico.

41ಹೆಬ್ಬಾಗಿಲಿನ ಎರಡು ಪಕ್ಕಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ನಾಲ್ಕು ನಾಲ್ಕು ಪೀಠಗಳು, ಒಟ್ಟಿಗೆ ಯಜ್ಞಪಶುಗಳನ್ನು ವಧಿಸುವ ಎಂಟು ಪೀಠಗಳಿದ್ದವು.So there were four tables inside the gateway and four outside—eight tables in all—on which the sacrifices were to be slaughtered.

43ಒಳಗೆ, ಸುತ್ತಲು ಕೈ ಅಗಲದಷ್ಟು ಕೊಂಡಿಗಳು ಜಡಿಯಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿದ್ದವು. ನೈವೇದ್ಯ ಮಾಂಸವು ಪೀಠಗಳ ಮೇಲಿತ್ತು.The double-pronged hooks, each a handbreadth long, were fastened all around the inside of the room, and the flesh of the offering was to be placed on the tables.

45ಆಗ ಅವನು ನನಗೆ, <<ದಕ್ಷಿಣಕ್ಕೆ ಅಭಿಮುಖವಾಗಿರುವ ಈ ಕೋಣೆಯು ದೇವಾಲಯದ ಮೇಲ್ವಿಚಾರಣೆಯನ್ನು ನಡೆಸುವ ಯಾಜಕರಿಗೆ ನೇಮಕವಾಗಿದೆ.Then the man said to me: “The chamber that faces south is for the priests who keep charge of the temple,

46ಉತ್ತರಕ್ಕೆ ಅಭಿಮುಖವಾಗಿರುವ ಆ ಕೋಣೆಯು ಯಜ್ಞವೇದಿಯ ಕಾರ್ಯದರ್ಶಿಗಳಾದ ಯಾಜಕರಿಗೆ ನೇಮಕವಾಗಿದೆ. ಚಾದೋಕನ ಸಂತತಿಯವರಾದ ಇವರು ಲೇವಿಯ ಕುಲದವರಲ್ಲಿ ಯೆಹೋವನ ಸನ್ನಿಧಿ ಸೇವಕರಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ>> ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.and the chamber that faces north is for the priests who keep charge of the altar. These are the sons of Zadok, the only Levites who may approach the LORD to minister before Him.”

47ಆ ಮೇಲೆ ಅವನು ಅಂಗಳವನ್ನು ಅಳೆಯಲು, ಅದು ನೂರು ಮೊಳ ಉದ್ದವಾಗಿಯೂ, ನೂರು ಮೊಳ ಅಗಲವಾಗಿಯೂ ಚಚ್ಚೌಕವಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಯಜ್ಞವೇದಿಯು ದೇವಸ್ಥಾನದ ಮುಂದೆ ಇತ್ತು.Next he measured the court. It was square, a hundred cubits long and a hundred cubits wide. And the altar was in front of the temple.

The width of the gateway was fourteen cubits and its sidewalls were three cubits on either side.
