1 ULB ನನ್ನ ಕೋವರದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಂತುಕೊಳ್ಳುವೆನು. ಬುರುಜಿನ ಮೇಲೆ ನೆಲೆಯಾಗಿರುವೆನು. ಯೆಹೋವನು ನನಗೆ ಏನು ಹೇಳುವನೋ ನನ್ನ ಆಕ್ಷೇಪಣೆಯನ್ನು ನಿವಾರಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲು ಯಾವ ಉತ್ತರ ಕೊಡಬೇಕೋ ಎಂದು ಎದುರುನೋಡುವೆನು ಅಂದುಕೊಂಡನು. BSB BSB: I will stand at my guard post and station myself on the ramparts. I will watch to see what He will say to me, and how I should answer when corrected.
2 ULB ಆಗ ಯೆಹೋವನು ನನಗೆ ಈ ಉತ್ತರವನ್ನು ದಯಪಾಲಿಸಿದನು, <<ನಿನಗಾದ ದರ್ಶನವನ್ನು ಬರೆದಿಡು; ಓದುವವರು ಸುಲಭವಾಗಿ ಶೀಘ್ರವಾಗಿ ಓದಲು ಅನುಕೂಲವಾಗುವಂತೆ ಹಲಿಗೆಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ಅದನ್ನು ಕೆತ್ತಿಡು! BSB BSB: Then the LORD answered me: “Write down this vision and clearly inscribe it on tablets, so that a herald may run with it.
3 ULB ಸೂಕ್ತ ಹಾಗು ನಿಯಮಿತ ಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಆ ದರ್ಶನದಲ್ಲಿ ಕಂಡದ್ದು ನೆರವೇರುವುದು, ಅದರ ಅಂತಿಮ ಪರಿಣಾಮ ಶೀಘ್ರದಲ್ಲೇ ಗೊತ್ತಾಗುವುದು. ತಡವಾದರೂ ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಕಾದಿರು; ಅದು ಖಂಡಿತವಾಗಿ ಕೈಗೂಡುವುದು. BSB BSB: For the vision awaits an appointed time; it testifies of the end and does not lie. Though it lingers, wait for it, since it will surely come and will not delay.
4 ULB ಇಗೋ, ದುಷ್ಟನ ಅಂತರಾತ್ಮವು ತನ್ನ ಕ್ರಿಯೆಗಳಿಂದ ಉಬ್ಬಿಹೋಗಿದೆ, ಆದರೆ, ನೀತಿವಂತನು ತನ್ನ ನಂಬಿಕೆಯಿಂದಲೇ ಬದುಕುವನು. BSB BSB: Look at the proud one; his soul is not upright—but the righteous will live by faith—
5 ULB ಅಲ್ಲದೆ ಮದ್ಯಪಾನವು ಮೋಸಕರವಾದ ಕಾರಣ ದುಷ್ಟನನ್ನು ಮದವೇರಿಸುವುದು, ಸ್ವಸ್ಥಳದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಲ್ಲಲು ಬಿಡುವುದಿಲ್ಲ; ಪಾತಾಳದಷ್ಟು ಅತಿ ಆಶೆಗೆ ಪ್ರೆರೇಪಿಸಿ ಮೃತ್ಯುವಿನಂತೆ ಅತೃಪ್ತನಾಗಿ ಜೀವಿಸುವನು. ಯೆಹೋವನ ಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆಯ ವಿರುದ್ಧ ಜೀವಿಸುವವರನ್ನು ತನ್ನ ಕಡೆಗೆ ಆಕರ್ಷಿಸುವನು. BSB BSB: and wealth indeed betrays him. He is an arrogant man never at rest. He enlarges his appetite like Sheol, and like Death, he is never satisfied. He gathers all the nations to himself and collects all the peoples as his own.
6 ULB <<ಆದರೆ ಹೀಗೆ ಅವನ ದುರಾಶೆಯ ಪಾಶಕ್ಕೆ ಗುರಿಯಾದವರು ಅವನ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ತಿಳಿದು ಗೇಲಿ, ಅಪಹಾಸ್ಯದ ಲಾವಣಿ ಗೀತೆಗಳನ್ನು ರಚಿಸಿ ಹಾಡುವರು. <ಅನ್ಯರ ವಸ್ತುಗಳನ್ನು ಅಡವಿಟ್ಟುಕೊಂಡು ಐಶ್ವರ್ಯ ಸಂಪಾದಿಸುವವನ ಗತಿಯನ್ನು ಏನೆಂದು ಹೇಳುವುದು, ಅವನು ಎಷ್ಟು ಕಾಲ ಹೀಗೆ ಮಾಡುವನು!> BSB BSB: Will not all of these take up a taunt against him, speaking with mockery and derision: ‘Woe to him who amasses what is not his and makes himself rich with many loans! How long will this go on?’
7 ULB ನಿನ್ನ ಬಳಿ ಸಾಲಪಡೆದವರೇ ನಿನಗೆ ಎದುರಾಗಿ ನಿಲ್ಲುವರು, ನಿನಗೆ ಬಾಕಿ ಕೊಡಬೇಕಾದವರು ನಿನಗೆ ಬೆದರಿಕೆ ಹಾಕಿ ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಕೊಳ್ಳೆ ಹೊಡೆದು ಲೂಟಿಮಾಡುವರು. BSB BSB: Will not your creditors suddenly arise and those who disturb you awaken? Then you will become their prey.
8 ULB ನೀನು ಬಹು ಜನರನ್ನು ಕೊಳ್ಳೆಹೊಡೆದು, ಮನುಷ್ಯರ ರಕ್ತವನ್ನು ಸುರಿಸಿ ದೇಶವನ್ನೂ, ಪಟ್ಟಣವನ್ನೂ, ಅವುಗಳ ನಿವಾಸಿಗಳೆಲ್ಲರನ್ನೂ ಹಿಂಸಿಸಿರುವೆ. ಈ ಕಾರಣದಿಂದ, ಜನಾಂಗಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಉಳಿದವರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಕೊಳ್ಳೆ ಹೊಡೆಯುವರು. BSB BSB: Because you have plundered many nations, the remnant of the people will plunder you—because of your bloodshed against man and your violence against the land, the city, and all their dwellers.
9 ULB <ಕೇಡಿನಿಂದ, ತಪ್ಪಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲು ತನ್ನ ಗೂಡನ್ನು ಎತ್ತರದಲ್ಲಿ ಕಟ್ಟಿ ತಪ್ಪಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕೆಂದು, ತನ್ನ ಕುಟುಂಬಕ್ಕೆ ಆಸ್ತಿಯನ್ನು ಅನ್ಯಾಯವಾಗಿ ಮೋಸದಿಂದ ದೋಚಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವವನ ಗತಿಯನ್ನು ಏನು ಹೇಳಲಿ; BSB BSB: Woe to him who builds his house by unjust gain, to place his nest on high and escape the hand of disaster!
10 ULB ನೀನು ಬಹು ಜನರನ್ನು ನಿರ್ಮೂಲ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದು ನಿನ್ನ ಕುಂಟುಂಬಕ್ಕೆ ಅವಮಾನವನ್ನೇ ತಂದಂತಾಯಿತು, ನಿನಗೇ ನೀನೇ ಕೆಡುಕು ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದೀ. BSB BSB: You have plotted shame for your house by cutting off many peoples and forfeiting your life.
11 ULB ಗೋಡೆಯೊಳಗಿಂದ ಕಲ್ಲುಗಳು ನಿನ್ನ ಮೇಲೆ ತಪ್ಪುಹೊರಿಸಿ ಕೂಗುವವು; ಚಾವಣಿಯ ತೊಲೆಗಳು ಸಹ ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಮಾರ್ದನಿ ಕೊಡುತ್ತವೆ.> BSB BSB: For the stones will cry out from the wall, and the rafters will echo it from the woodwork.
12 ULB <ಅಯ್ಯೋ, ಪಟ್ಟಣವನ್ನು ನರಹತ್ಯದಿಂದ ಕಟ್ಟುವವನೂ, ಊರನ್ನು ಅನ್ಯಾಯದಿಂದ ಸ್ಥಾಪಿಸುವವರ ಗತಿಯನ್ನು ಏನು ಹೇಳಲಿ! BSB BSB: Woe to him who builds a city with bloodshed and establishes a town by iniquity!
13 ULB ಜನರು ದುಡಿದದ್ದು ಬೆಂಕಿಗೆ ತುತ್ತಾಗುವುದು, ಈ ರೀತಿಯಾಗಿ ಜನರು ಪಟ್ಟ ಪರಿಶ್ರಮವು ವ್ಯರ್ಥವಾಗುವುದು ಎಂದು ಯೆಹೋವನು ನುಡಿದ್ದರಿಂದಲೇ ಅಲ್ಲವೇ; ಇದೆಲ್ಲ ಸೇನಾಧೀಶ್ವರನ ಚಿತ್ತವಷ್ಟೇ. BSB BSB: Is it not indeed from the LORD of Hosts that the labor of the people only feeds the fire, and the nations weary themselves in vain?
14 ULB ಸಮುದ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ನೀರು ಹೇಗೋ ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಭೂಮಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಯೆಹೋವನ ಮಹಿಮೆಯ ಜ್ಞಾನವು ತುಂಬಿಕೊಂಡಿರುವುದು.> BSB BSB: For the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the LORD as the waters cover the sea.
15 ULB <ನಿನ್ನ ರೋಷವನ್ನು ಪಾನಕಕ್ಕೆ ಬೆರಸಿ ನಿನ್ನ ನೆರೆಯವನಿಗೆ ಕುಡಿಸಿ, ಅವನ ಬೆತ್ತಲೆತನವನ್ನು ನೋಡಬೇಕೆಂದು ಅವರನ್ನು ಅಮಲೇರಿಸಿದವನೇ, ನಿನ್ನ ಗತಿಯನ್ನು ಏನು ಹೇಳಲಿ! BSB BSB: Woe to him who gives drink to his neighbors, pouring it from the wineskin until they are drunk, in order to gaze at their nakedness!
16 ULB ನೀನು ಮಾನವಂತನಲ್ಲ, ನಿನಗೆ ಸನ್ಮಾನವಲ್ಲಾ ಅವಮಾನ ಕಟ್ಟಿಟ್ಟ ಬುತ್ತಿ. ನೀನು ಕುಡಿ ಕುಡಿದು ನಗ್ನನಾಗು, ಯೆಹೋವನ ಬಲಗೈಯಲ್ಲಿರುವ ನಿನ್ನ ಪಾಪದ ಕೊಡ ತುಂಬಿ ಅವಮಾನವೇ ನಿನಗೆ ಸಲ್ಲುವುದು. BSB BSB: You will be filled with shame instead of glory. You too must drink and expose your uncircumcision! The cup in the LORD’s right hand will come around to you, and utter disgrace will cover your glory.
17 ULB ಲೆಬನೋನಿಗೆ ಆದಂಥ ಹಿಂಸೆಯ ಬಾರವು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಕಾಡುವುದು, ಮೃಗಪಶುಗಳ ನಾಶನವು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಹೆದರಿಸುವುದು; ನೀನು ಮನುಷ್ಯರ ರಕ್ತವನ್ನು ಸುರಿಸಿ ದೇಶವನ್ನೂ, ಪಟ್ಟಣವನ್ನೂ, ಅವುಗಳ ನಿವಾಸಿಗಳೆಲ್ಲರನ್ನೂ ಹಿಂಸಿಸಿರುವೆ. ಹಿಂಸಿಸಿದ ಕಾರಣ ಅದು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಕಾಡುವುದು. BSB BSB: For your violence against Lebanon will overwhelm you, and the destruction of animals will terrify you, because of your bloodshed against men and your violence against the land, the city, and all their dwellers.
18 ULB ವಿಗ್ರಹ ಕೆತ್ತುವವನ ವಿಗ್ರಹವಾಗಲಿ ಅಥವಾ ಎರಕದಿಂದ ಮಾಡಿದ ಗೊಂಬೆಗಳಿಂದಾಗಲಿ ಲಾಭವೇನು? ಹಾಗೆ ದೇವರುಗಳನ್ನು ರೂಪಿಸುವವರು ಸುಳ್ಳನ್ನು ಬಿತ್ತುವವರು; ಏಕೆಂದರೆ, ಆ ನಿರ್ಜೀವ ವಿಗ್ರಹವನ್ನು ನಿರ್ಮಿಸಿದವನು ತನ್ನ ಕೈಕೆಲಸದ ಮೇಲೆಯೇ ಭರವಸೆ ಇಟ್ಟಿದ್ದಾನೆ.> BSB BSB: What use is an idol, that a craftsman should carve it—or an image, a teacher of lies? For its maker trusts in his own creation; he makes idols that cannot speak.
19 ULB <ಮರದ ವಿಗ್ರಹಗಳಿಗೆ ಎಚ್ಚೆತ್ತುಕೋ,> ಜಡವಾದ ಕಲ್ಲಿನ ವಿಗ್ರಹಗಳಿಗೆ, <ಎದ್ದೇಳು> ಎಂದು ಅಪ್ಪಣೆಕೊಡುವವನು ಬುದ್ಧಿಹೀನನು. ಇಂಥ ಬೊಂಬೆಯು ಬೋಧಿಸೀತೇ? ಇಗೋ, ಆ ವಿಗ್ರಹಗಳಿಗೆ ಬೆಳ್ಳಿಬಂಗಾರವನ್ನು ಹೊದಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಆದರೂ ಅದರೊಳಗೆ ಜೀವವೇ ಇಲ್ಲ. BSB BSB: Woe to him who says to wood, ‘Awake!’ or to silent stone, ‘Arise!’ Can it give guidance? Behold, it is overlaid with gold and silver, yet there is no breath in it at all.”
20 ULB ಆದರೆ, ಯೆಹೋವನು ತನ್ನ ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧ ಮಂದಿರದಲ್ಲಿದ್ದಾನೆ; ಭೂಲೋಕವೆಲ್ಲಾ ಆತನ ಮುಂದೆ ಮೌನವಾಗಿರಲಿ.>> BSB BSB: But the LORD is in His holy temple; let all the earth be silent before Him.
