2 ULB ನಾನು ಕರೆದ ಹಾಗೆಲ್ಲಾ ನನ್ನ ಜನರು ದೂರದೂರ ಹೋಗುತ್ತಲೇ ಬಂದರು. ಬಾಳ್ ದೇವತೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಯಜ್ಞಮಾಡಿ, ಬೊಂಬೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಧೂಪ ಹಾಕಿದರು. BSB BSB: But the more I called Israel, the farther they departed from Me. They sacrificed to the Baals and burned incense to carved images.
3 ULB ನಾನೇ ಎಫ್ರಾಯೀಮಿಗೆ ನಡೆದಾಟವನ್ನು ಕಲಿಸಿದೆನು; ಅದನ್ನು ಕೈಯಲ್ಲಿ ಎತ್ತಿಕೊಂಡೆನು. ತನ್ನನ್ನು ಸ್ವಸ್ಥಮಾಡಿದವನು ನಾನೇ ಎಂದು ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ತಿಳಿಯಲಿಲ್ಲ. BSB BSB: It was I who taught Ephraim to walk, taking them by the arms, but they never realized that it was I who healed them.
4 ULB ನಾನು ನನ್ನ ಜನರನ್ನು ಮಾನವರಿಗೆ ತಕ್ಕ ಮೂಗುದಾರದಿಂದ, ಅಂದರೆ ಮಮತೆಯ ಹಗ್ಗದಿಂದ ಸೆಳೆದುಕೊಂಡೆನು. ನೊಗವನ್ನು ತಲೆಯ ಈಚೆಗೆ ತೆಗೆಯುವವರಂತೆ ನಾನು ಅವರನ್ನು ಸುಧಾರಿಸಿ, ಅವರಿಗೆ ಆಹಾರವನ್ನು ಉಣಿಸಿದೆನು. BSB BSB: I led them with cords of kindness, with ropes of love; I lifted the yoke from their necks and bent down to feed them.
5 ULB ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ ಐಗುಪ್ತ ದೇಶಕ್ಕೆ ಹಿಂದಿರುಗದು; ಅದು ನನ್ನ ಕಡೆಗೆ ಹಿಂದಿರುಗಲು ಒಪ್ಪದ ಕಾರಣ ಅಶ್ಶೂರವೇ ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ರಾಜನಾಗಬೇಕು. BSB BSB: Will they not return to the land of Egypt and be ruled by Assyria because they refused to repent?
6 ULB ಅದರ ದುರಾಲೋಚನೆಗಳ ನಿಮಿತ್ತ ಖಡ್ಗವು ಅದರ ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ಬೀಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟು, ಅಲ್ಲಿನ ಕೋಟೆಗಳನ್ನು ಧ್ವಂಸಮಾಡಿ ನುಂಗಿಬಿಡುವುದು. BSB BSB: A sword will flash through their cities; it will destroy the bars of their gates and consume them in their own plans.
7 ULB ನನ್ನ ಕಡೆಯಿಂದ ತಿರಿಗಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದು ನನ್ನ ಜನರ ಗುಣವೇ; ಅವರನ್ನು ಮೇಲಕ್ಕೆ ಕರೆಯುವವರು ಇದ್ದರೂ, ಮೇಲಕ್ಕೆತ್ತುವವರು ಯಾರೂ ಇಲ್ಲ. BSB BSB: My people are bent on turning from Me. Though they call to the Most High, He will by no means exalt them.
9 ULB ನನ್ನ ಉಗ್ರಕೋಪವನ್ನು ತೀರಿಸೆನು, ಎಫ್ರಾಯೀಮನ್ನು ನಾಶಮಾಡಲು ತಿರಿಗಿಕೊಳ್ಳೆನು. ನಾನು ಮನುಷ್ಯನಲ್ಲ, ದೇವರೇ; ನಾನು ನಿಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿ ನೆಲೆಯಾಗಿರುವ ಸದಮಲಸ್ವಾಮಿ, ನಾನು ನಿನ್ನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ರೋಷದಿಂದ ಬಾರೆನು. BSB BSB: I will not execute the full fury of My anger; I will not destroy Ephraim again. For I am God and not man—the Holy One among you—and I will not come in wrath.
10 ULB ಸಿಂಹದಂತೆ ಗರ್ಜಿಸುತ್ತಿರುವ ಯೆಹೋವನನ್ನು ಆತನ ಜನರು ಹಿಂಬಾಲಿಸುವರು; ಆತನು ಆರ್ಭಟಿಸಲು ಆತನ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಪಶ್ಚಿಮದಿಂದ ನಡಗುತ್ತಾ ಬರುವರು; BSB BSB: They will walk after the LORD; He will roar like a lion. When He roars, His children will come trembling from the west.
11 ULB ಗುಬ್ಬಿಗಳಂತೆ ಐಗುಪ್ತದಿಂದಲೂ, ಪಾರಿವಾಳಗಳಂತೆ ಅಶ್ಶೂರದಿಂದಲೂ ಅದರುತ್ತಾ ತ್ವರೆಪಡುವರು; ಅವರು ತಮ್ಮ ತಮ್ಮ ನಿವಾಸಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸಿಸುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡುವೆನು; ಇದು ಯೆಹೋವನ ನುಡಿ. BSB BSB: They will come trembling like birds from Egypt and like doves from the land of Assyria. Then I will settle them in their homes, declares the LORD.
12 ULB ಎಫ್ರಾಯೀಮು ಸುಳ್ಳಿನಿಂದಲೂ, ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ ವಂಶವು ಮೋಸದಿಂದಲೂ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಮುತ್ತಿಕೊಂಡಿವೆ; ಯೆಹೂದವು ಸತ್ಯಸಂಧನೂ, ಸದಮಲಸ್ವಾಮಿಯೂ ಆದ ದೇವರ ಕಡೆಯಿಂದ ಇನ್ನೂ ಅಲೆದಾಡುತ್ತಿದೆ. BSB BSB: Ephraim surrounds Me with lies, the house of Israel with deceit; but Judah still walks with God and is faithful to the Holy One.
