4 ULB ಆಹಾ, ಬಹುಸಮೂಹವು ಇದ್ದಂತೆ ಗದ್ದಲವು ಬೆಟ್ಟಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಕೇಳಿಬರುತ್ತದೆ! ಇಗೋ, ಜನಾಂಗಗಳ ಆರ್ಭಟವು ಒಟ್ಟಿಗೆ ಕೂಡಿಕೊಂಡ ಅನೇಕ ರಾಜ್ಯಗಳ ಆರ್ಭಟದಂತೆ ಇದೆ! ಯೆಹೋವನು ಸೈನ್ಯವನ್ನು ಯುದ್ಧಕ್ಕೆ ಸಿದ್ಧಮಾಡುತ್ತಾನೆ. BSB BSB: Listen, a tumult on the mountains, like that of a great multitude! Listen, an uproar among the kingdoms, like nations gathered together! The LORD of Hosts is mobilizing an army for war.
5 ULB ಯೆಹೋವನು ತಾನು ನ್ಯಾಯ ತೀರಿಸುವ ಆಯುಧಗಳೊಡನೆ ದೂರ ದೇಶದಿಂದ ಅಂದರೆ, ಆಕಾಶ ಮಂಡಲದ ಕಟ್ಟಕಡೆಯಿಂದ ಭೂಮಿಯನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಹಾಳುಮಾಡುವುದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಬರುತ್ತಾನೆ. BSB BSB: They are coming from faraway lands, from the ends of the heavens—the LORD and the weapons of His wrath—to destroy the whole country.
6 ULB ಗೋಳಾಡಿರಿ! ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಯೆಹೋವನ ದಿನವು ಸಮೀಪಿಸಿತು. ಅದು ಸರ್ವಶಕ್ತನಿಂದ ನಾಶವಾಗುವಂತೆ ಬರುವುದು. BSB BSB: Wail, for the Day of the LORD is near; it will come as destruction from the Almighty.
7 ULB ಆದುದರಿಂದ ಎಲ್ಲರ ಕೈಗಳು ಜೋಲು ಬೀಳುವುದು. ಎಲ್ಲರ ಹೃದಯವು ಕರಗಿ ನೀರಾಗುವುದು. BSB BSB: Therefore all hands will fall limp, and every man’s heart will melt.
8 ULB ಅವರು ಭಯಪಡುವರು. ಪ್ರಸವ ವೇದನೆಯಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಸ್ತ್ರೀಯಂತೆ ಯಾತನೆ, ಸಂಕಟಗಳನ್ನು ಅನುಭವಿಸುವರು. ಒಬ್ಬರನ್ನೊಬ್ಬರು ನೋಡಿ ವಿಸ್ಮಯಪಡುವರು. ಅವರ ಮುಖಗಳು ತಲ್ಲಣಗೊಂಡು ಬೆಂಕಿಯಿಂದ ಉರಿಯುವವು. 10 ULB ಆಕಾಶದ ತಾರೆಗಳೂ, ನಕ್ಷತ್ರ ರಾಶಿಗಳೂ ಬೆಳಕನ್ನು ಕೊಡುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. ಸೂರ್ಯನು ಮೂಡುತ್ತಲೇ ಕತ್ತಲಾಗುವನು. ಚಂದ್ರನು ಪ್ರಕಾಶಿಸುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. BSB BSB: For the stars of heaven and their constellations will not give their light. The rising sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light.
11 ULB ನಾನು ಲೋಕದವರಿಗೆ ಅವರ ಪಾಪದ ಫಲವನ್ನೂ, ದುಷ್ಟರಿಗೆ ಅವರ ದುಷ್ಕೃತ್ಯಗಳ ಫಲಗಳಿಗಾಗಿ ಶಿಕ್ಷಿಸಿ, ಸೊಕ್ಕಿದವರ ಅಹಂಕಾರವನ್ನು ಅಡಗಿಸಿ, ಭಯಂಕರವಾದ ಅವರ ಹೆಮ್ಮೆಯನ್ನು ತಗ್ಗಿಸುವೆನು. 13 ULB ಆದುದರಿಂದ ಸೇನಾಧೀಶ್ವರನಾದ ಯೆಹೋವನ ಕೋಪೋದ್ರೇಕದಿಂದ ತೀಕ್ಷ್ಣರೋಷದಿಂದ ಆಕಾಶಮಂಡಲವನ್ನು ನಡುಗಿಸಿ, ಭೂಲೋಕವನ್ನು ಅದರ ಸ್ಥಳದಿಂದ ಕದಲಿಸಿ ನಡುಗಿಸುವೆನು. BSB BSB: Therefore I will make the heavens tremble, and the earth will be shaken from its place at the wrath of the LORD of Hosts on the day of His burning anger.
14 ULB ಬೇಟೆಗಾರನಿಂದ ತಪ್ಪಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಓಡುವ ಜಿಂಕೆಯಂತೆಯೂ, ಒಟ್ಟುಗೂಡಿಸಲು ಯಾರೂ ಇಲ್ಲದಂಥ ಕುರಿಗಳಂತೆಯೂ ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಬ್ಬನೂ ಸ್ವಜನರ ಕಡೆಗೆ ತಿರುಗಿಕೊಂಡು ಸ್ವದೇಶಕ್ಕೆ ಓಡಿಹೋಗುವನು. BSB BSB: Like a hunted gazelle, like a sheep without a shepherd, each will return to his own people, each will flee to his native land.
15 ULB ಸಿಕ್ಕಿದವರೆಲ್ಲರು ಇರಿಯಲ್ಪಡುವರು. ಹಿಂಬಾಲಿಸಿ ಹಿಡಿಯಲ್ಪಟ್ಟ ಸಕಲ ಜನರು ಕತ್ತಿಗೆ ತುತ್ತಾಗುವರು. BSB BSB: Whoever is caught will be stabbed, and whoever is captured will die by the sword.
17 ULB ಇಗೋ, ಅವರ ವಿರುದ್ಧವಾಗಿ ಮೇದ್ಯರನ್ನು ಎಬ್ಬಿಸುವೆನು. ಇವರು ಬೆಳ್ಳಿಯನ್ನು ಲಕ್ಷಿಸರು. ಬಂಗಾರವನ್ನು ಪ್ರೀತಿಸರು. BSB BSB: Behold, I will stir up against them the Medes, who have no regard for silver and no desire for gold.

19 ULB ರಾಜ್ಯಗಳ ಘನತೆಯೂ, ಕಸ್ದೀಯರ ಮಹಿಮೆಯ ಭೂಷಣವೂ ಆದ ಬಾಬೆಲೋನಿಗೆ, ದೇವರು ನಾಶಮಾಡಿದ ಸೊದೋಮ್ ಗೋಮೋರಗಳ ಗತಿಯೇ ಸಂಭವಿಸುವುದು. BSB BSB: And Babylon, the jewel of the kingdoms, the glory of the pride of the Chaldeans, will be overthrown by God like Sodom and Gomorrah.

22 ULB ಅವರ ಕೋಟೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ತೋಳಗಳೂ, ಅರಮನೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ನರಿಗಳೂ ಕೂಗುವವು. ಸಮಯವು ಹತ್ತಿರವಾಗಿದೆ. ಇನ್ನು ಆ ದಿನಗಳು ಬರುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ತಡವಾಗುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. BSB BSB: Hyenas will howl in her fortresses and jackals in her luxurious palaces. Babylon’s time is at hand, and her days will not be prolonged.
