2 ULB ಪ್ರಜೆಗಳು ಯಾಜಕ, ದಾಸ ಯಜಮಾನ, ದಾಸಿ, ಯಜಮಾನಿ, ಕೊಳ್ಳುವವನು, ಮಾರುವವನು, ಸಾಲ ಕೊಡುವವನು ಸಾಲ ಪಡೆಯುವವನು, ಬಡ್ಡಿ ಪಡೆಯುವವನು ಬಡ್ಡಿ ತೆರುವವನು, ಇವರೆಲ್ಲರಿಗೂ ಒಂದೇ ಗತಿಯಾಗುವುದು. BSB BSB: people and priest alike, servant and master, maid and mistress, buyer and seller, lender and borrower, creditor and debtor.
3 ULB ಭೂಮಿಯು ಬಟ್ಟಬರಿದಾಗುವುದು, ಅದು ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣ ಸುಲಿಗೆಯಾಗುವುದು, ಯೆಹೋವನೇ ಇದನ್ನು ನುಡಿದಿದ್ದಾನೆ. BSB BSB: The earth will be utterly laid waste and thoroughly plundered. For the LORD has spoken this word.

5 ULB ಭೂನಿವಾಸಿಗಳು ದೈವಾಜ್ಞೆಗಳನ್ನು ಮೀರಿ, ನಿಯಮಗಳನ್ನು ಬದಲಾಯಿಸಿ, ಶಾಶ್ವತವಾದ ಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ಭಂಗಪಡಿಸಿದ್ದರಿಂದ ಭೂಮಿಯು ಅವರ ಹೆಜ್ಜೆಯಿಂದ ಅಪವಿತ್ರವಾಯಿತು. BSB BSB: The earth is defiled by its people; they have transgressed the laws; they have overstepped the decrees and broken the everlasting covenant.

7 ULB ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಾರಸವು ಬತ್ತಿ ಹೋಗುವುದು, ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಿಯ ಬಳ್ಳಿಯು ಕ್ಷೀಣಿಸುವುದು, ಹರ್ಷ ಹೃದಯರೆಲ್ಲಾ ನರಳುತ್ತಾರೆ. BSB BSB: The new wine dries up, the vine withers. All the merrymakers now groan.
8 ULB ದಮ್ಮಡಿಗಳ ಉತ್ಸಾಹವು ಮುಗಿದಿದೆ, ಉಲ್ಲಾಸಿಗಳ ಕೋಲಾಹಲವು ಕೊನೆಗೊಂಡಿದೆ, ಕಿನ್ನರಿಯ ಆನಂದವು ಅಡಗಿದೆ. BSB BSB: The joyful tambourines have ceased; the noise of revelers has stopped; the joyful harp is silent.
9 ULB ಇನ್ನು ಗಾನದೊಡನೆ ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಾರಸವನ್ನು ಕುಡಿಯರು, ಮದ್ಯವು ಕುಡಿಯುವವರಿಗೆ ಕಹಿಯಾಗುವುದು. BSB BSB: They no longer sing and drink wine; strong drink is bitter to those who consume it.
10 ULB ಹಾಳುಪಟ್ಟಣವು ಬಿದ್ದುಹೋಗಿದೆ, ಯಾರೂ ಹೋಗದಂತೆ ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಂದು ಮನೆಯೂ ಮುಚ್ಚಿದೆ. BSB BSB: The city of chaos is shattered; every house is closed to entry.
11 ULB ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಾರಸದ ಕೊರತೆಯಿಂದ ಬೀದಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಅರಚುತ್ತಾರೆ; ಉಲ್ಲಾಸವೆಲ್ಲಾ ಕೊನೆಗೊಂಡಿದೆ; ಲೋಕದ ಸಡಗರವು ಸೆರೆಯಾಗಿ ತೊಲಗಿದೆ. BSB BSB: In the streets they cry out for wine. All joy turns to gloom; rejoicing is exiled from the land.
12 ULB ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳು ಹಾಳೂರಾಗಿ ಉಳಿದಿದೆ; ನಾಶವು ಹೆಬ್ಬಾಗಿಲಿಗೆ ಬಡಿದಿದೆ. BSB BSB: The city is left in ruins; its gate is reduced to rubble.
13 ULB ಎಣ್ಣೆಯ ಮರವನ್ನು ಕಡಿದ ಬಳಿಕ, ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಿಯ ಸುಗ್ಗಿಯು ತೀರಿದ ನಂತರ ಉಳಿದ ಕಾಯಿಗಳ ಹಾಗೆ ಭೂಮಂಡಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಜನಾಂಗಗಳೊಳಗೆ ಉಳಿದಿರುವುದು. BSB BSB: So will it be on the earth and among the nations, like a harvested olive tree, like a gleaning after a grape harvest.
14 ULB ಅವರು ತಮ್ಮ ಧ್ವನಿ ಎತ್ತಿ ಯೆಹೋವನ ಮಹಿಮೆಯನ್ನು ಕುರಿತು ಹಾಡುವರು. ಸಮುದ್ರದ ಕಡೆಯಿಂದ ಆರ್ಭಟಿಸುವರು. BSB BSB: They raise their voices, they shout for joy; from the west they proclaim the majesty of the LORD.
15 ULB ಮೂಡಣದವರೇ, <<ಯೆಹೋವನನ್ನು ಸನ್ಮಾನಿಸಿರಿ. ದ್ವೀಪ ನಿವಾಸಿಗಳೇ, ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರ ದೇವರಾದ ಯೆಹೋವನ ನಾಮವನ್ನು ಘನಪಡಿಸಿರಿ>> ಎಂದು ಕೂಗುವರು. BSB BSB: Therefore glorify the LORD in the east. Extol the name of the LORD, the God of Israel in the islands of the sea.
16 ULB ಭೂಮಂಡಲದ ಕಟ್ಟಕಡೆಯಿಂದ, <<ನೀತಿವಂತರಿಗೆ ಮಹಿಮೆಯಾಗಲಿ>> ಎಂಬ ಗೀತೆಗಳು ನಮಗೆ ಕೇಳಿ ಬಂದಿವೆ, ಆದರೆ <<ನಾನಾದರೋ ಕ್ಷಯಿಸಿ ಹೋಗಿದ್ದೇನೆ, ನನ್ನ ಗತಿಯನ್ನು ಏನು ಹೇಳಲಿ! ಬಾಧಕರು ಬಾಧಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ, ಹೌದು, ಬಾಧಕರು ಬಾಧಿಸೇ ಬಾಧಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ>> ಎಂದುಕೊಂಡೆನು. BSB BSB: From the ends of the earth we hear singing: “Glory to the Righteous One.” But I said, “I am wasting away! I am wasting away! Woe is me.” The treacherous betray; the treacherous deal in treachery.
17 ULB ಭೂನಿವಾಸಿಗಳೇ, ಭಯವೂ, ಗುಂಡಿಯೂ, ಬಲೆಯೂ ನಿಮಗೆ ಕಾದಿವೆ. BSB BSB: Terror and pit and snare await you, O dweller of the earth.
18 ULB ಭಯದ ಸಪ್ಪಳದಿಂದ ಓಡಿ ಹೋಗುವವನು ಗುಂಡಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಬೀಳುವನು, ಗುಂಡಿಯನ್ನು ಹತ್ತಿ ಬರುವವನು ಬಲೆಗೆ ಸಿಕ್ಕುವನು. ನೋಡು, ಆಕಾಶದ ದ್ವಾರಗಳು ತೆರೆದಿವೆ, ಭೂಮಿಯ ಅಸ್ತಿವಾರಗಳು ಕಂಪಿಸುತ್ತಿವೆ. BSB BSB: Whoever flees the sound of panic will fall into the pit, and whoever climbs from the pit will be caught in the snare. For the windows of heaven are open, and the foundations of the earth are shaken.
19 ULB ಭೂಮಿಯು ಒಡೆದೇ ಇದೆ, ಬಿರಿದಿದೆ, ಕದಲಿಯೇ ಹೋಗಿದೆ. BSB BSB: The earth is utterly broken apart, the earth is split open, the earth is shaken violently.
20 ULB ಭೂಮಿಯು ಅಮಲೇರಿದವನ ಹಾಗೆ ಓಲಾಡುತ್ತದೆ, ಗುಡಿಸಲಂತೆ ತೂಗಾಡುತ್ತದೆ; ಅದರ ದ್ರೋಹವು ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಭಾರವಾಗಿದೆ, ಅದು ಬಿದ್ದು ಹೋಗುತ್ತಿದೆ, ತಿರುಗಿ ಏಳುವುದೇ ಇಲ್ಲ. BSB BSB: The earth staggers like a drunkard and sways like a shack. Earth’s rebellion weighs it down, and it falls, never to rise again.
21 ULB ಆ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ಯೆಹೋವನು ಆಕಾಶಮಂಡಲದ ದೂತಸೈನ್ಯವನ್ನೂ, ಭೂಮಂಡಲದ ಒಡೆಯರನ್ನೂ ದಂಡಿಸುವನು. BSB BSB: In that day the LORD will punish the host of heaven above and the kings of the earth below.
22 ULB ಅವರು ಕೈದಿಗಳ ಗುಂಪಿನಂತೆ ನೆಲಮಾಳಿಗೆಯೊಳಕ್ಕೆ ಒಟ್ಟಿಗೆ ತಳ್ಳಲ್ಪಟ್ಟು ಅದರಲ್ಲಿ ಮುಚ್ಚಲ್ಪಡುವರು. ಬಹಳ ದಿನಗಳ ನಂತರ ದಂಡನೆಗೆ ಗುರಿಯಾಗುವರು. BSB BSB: They will be gathered together like prisoners in a pit. They will be confined to a dungeon and punished after many days.
23 ULB ಆಮೇಲೆ ಚಂದ್ರನು ನಾಚಿಕೆಪಡುವನು, ಸೂರ್ಯನು ಲಜ್ಜೆಗೊಳ್ಳುವನು; ಸೇನಾಧೀಶ್ವರನಾದ ಯೆಹೋವನು ಚೀಯೋನ್ ಪರ್ವತದಲ್ಲಿ ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮನ್ನು ಆಳುವನು. ಆತನ ಪರಿವಾರದ ಹಿರಿಯರ ಮುಂದೆ ಪ್ರಭಾವವು ಪ್ರತ್ಯಕ್ಷವಾಗುವುದು. BSB BSB: The moon will be confounded and the sun will be ashamed; for the LORD of Hosts will reign on Mount Zion and in Jerusalem, and before His elders with great glory.
