1 ULB ಯುವತಿಯೇ, ಬಾಬೆಲ್ ಪುರಿಯೇ, ಕೆಳಕ್ಕಿಳಿದು ಧೂಳಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಕುಳಿತುಕೋ, ಕಸ್ದೀಯರ ಯುವತಿಯೇ, ಸಿಂಹಾಸನರಹಿತಳಾಗಿ ನೆಲದ ಮೇಲೆ ಕುಳಿತುಕೋ! ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಇನ್ನು ಕೋಮಲೆ ಮತ್ತು ಸುಕುಮಾರಿ ಎಂದು ಕರೆಯುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. 5 ULB ಕಸ್ದೀಯರ ಯುವತಿಯೇ (ನಗರವೇ), ಮೌನವಾಗಿ ಕುಳಿತುಕೋ, ಕತ್ತಲೊಳಗೆ ಹೋಗು. ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ನೀನು ಇನ್ನು ರಾಜ್ಯಗಳ ರಾಣಿ ಎಂದು ಕರೆಯಲ್ಪಡುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. BSB BSB: “Sit in silence and go into darkness, O Daughter of the Chaldeans. For you will no longer be called the queen of kingdoms.
6 ULB ನಾನು ನನ್ನ ಜನರ ಮೇಲೆ ರೋಷಗೊಂಡು, ನನ್ನ ಸ್ವತ್ತನ್ನು ಹೊಲೆಗೆಡಿಸಿದೆನು. ಅವರನ್ನು ನಿನ್ನ ಕೈವಶ ಮಾಡಳು, ನೀನು ಅವರನ್ನು ಕರುಣಿಸದೆ ಬಹುಭಾರವಾದ ನೊಗವನ್ನು ಹೊರಿಸಿದಿ. BSB BSB: I was angry with My people; I profaned My heritage, and I placed them under your control. You showed them no mercy; even on the elderly you laid a most heavy yoke.
7 ULB <<ನಾನು ಶಾಶ್ವತವಾದ ರಾಣಿ>> ಎಂದು ನೀನು ಅಂದುಕೊಂಡು ಅವರ ಹಿಂಸೆಗಳನ್ನು ಮನಸ್ಸಿಗೆ ತಾರದೆ, ಅವುಗಳಿಂದ ನಿನಗಾಗುವ ಪರಿಣಾಮವನ್ನು ನೆನಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲಿಲ್ಲ. BSB BSB: You said, ‘I will be queen forever.’ You did not take these things to heart or consider their outcome.
8 ULB <<ನಾನೇ ಇರುವವಳು, ನನ್ನ ಹೊರತು ಇನ್ನು ಯಾರೂ ಇಲ್ಲ, ನಾನು ವಿಧವೆಯಾಗಿ ಕುಳಿತುಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದಿಲ್ಲ, ಪುತ್ರಶೋಕವನ್ನು ಅನುಭವಿಸುವುದಿಲ್ಲ>> ಎಂದು ಅಂದುಕೊಳ್ಳುವವಳೇ, ಭೋಗಾಸಕ್ತಳೇ, ನೆಮ್ಮದಿಯಾಗಿ ನೆಲೆಗೊಂಡಿರುವವಳೇ, ಈಗ ಇದನ್ನು ಕೇಳು. BSB BSB: So now hear this, O lover of luxury who sits securely, who says to herself, ‘I am, and there is none besides me. I will never be a widow or know the loss of children.’
9 ULB ಒಂದೇ ದಿನದೊಳಗೆ, ಒಂದು ಕ್ಷಣದಲ್ಲಿ, ಪುತ್ರಶೋಕ ಮತ್ತು ವಿಧವೆಯ ಸ್ಥಿತಿ ಇವೆರಡೂ ನಿನಗುಂಟಾಗುವವು. ನೀನು ಎಷ್ಟು ಮಾಟಮಾಡಿದರೂ, ಎಷ್ಟೇ ಮಂತ್ರತಂತ್ರಗಳನ್ನು ನಡೆಸಿದರೂ ಇವುಗಳನ್ನು ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣವಾಗಿ ಅನುಭವಿಸುವಿ. BSB BSB: These two things will overtake you in a moment, in a single day: loss of children, and widowhood. They will come upon you in full measure, in spite of your many sorceries and the potency of your spells.
10 ULB ನೀನು ನಿನ್ನ ಕೆಟ್ಟತನದಲ್ಲಿ ನಂಬಿಕೆಯಿಟ್ಟು, <<ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಯಾರೂ ನೋಡರು?>> ಎಂದುಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಿ. ನನ್ನ ಜ್ಞಾನವಿವೇಕಗಳು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಸೊಟ್ಟಗೆ ತಿರುಗಿಸಿದ್ದರಿಂದ, <<ನಾನೇ ಇರುವವಳು, ನನ್ನ ಹೊರತು ಇನ್ನು ಯಾರೂ ಇಲ್ಲ>> ಎಂದು ಯೋಚಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಿ. BSB BSB: You were secure in your wickedness; you said, ‘No one sees me.’ Your wisdom and knowledge led you astray; you told yourself, ‘I am, and there is none besides me.’
11 ULB ಹೀಗಿರಲು ನೀನು ಮಂತ್ರಿಸಿ ನಿವಾರಿಸಲಾರದ ಕೇಡು ನಿನಗೆ ಸಂಭವಿಸುವುದು, ನೀನು ಪರಿಹರಿಸಲಾಗದ ವಿಪತ್ತು ನಿನ್ನ ಮೇಲೆ ಬೀಳುವುದು. ನೀನು ತಪ್ಪಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲಾಗದ ನಾಶನವು ನಿನ್ನ ಮೇಲೆ ಪಕ್ಕನೆ ಬರುವುದು. BSB BSB: But disaster will come upon you; you will not know how to charm it away. A calamity will befall you that you will be unable to ward off. Devastation will happen to you suddenly and unexpectedly.
14 ULB ಇಗೋ, ಇವರೆಲ್ಲಾ ಕೂಳೆಯಂತಿರುವರು, ಬೆಂಕಿಯು ಅವರನ್ನು ಸುಟ್ಟುಬಿಡುವುದು; ಜ್ಞಾಲೆಯ ರಭಸದಿಂದ ತಮ್ಮನ್ನು ರಕ್ಷಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲಾರರು; ಅದು ಕಾಯಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ಕೆಂಡವಲ್ಲ, ಮುಂದೆ ಕುಳಿತರೆ ಹಾಯಾಗಿರುವ ಬೆಂಕಿಯೂ ಅಲ್ಲ. BSB BSB: Surely they are like stubble; the fire will burn them up. They cannot deliver themselves from the power of the flame. There will be no coals to warm them or fire to sit beside.
15 ULB ನೀನು ಪ್ರಯಾಸಪಟ್ಟವುಗಳೆಲ್ಲಾ ನಿನಗೆ ಹೀಗಾಗುವವು. ನಿನ್ನ ಬಾಲ್ಯದಿಂದ ನಿನ್ನಲ್ಲಿ ವ್ಯಾಪಾರ ಮಾಡಿದವರೆಲ್ಲರೂ; ಚದರಿ ತಮ್ಮ ತಮ್ಮ ಪ್ರಾಂತ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಗಿಬಿಡುವರು. ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ರಕ್ಷಿಸಲು ಒಬ್ಬನೂ ಇರುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. BSB BSB: This is what they are to you—those with whom you have labored and traded from youth—each one strays in his own direction; not one of them can save you.
