2 ULB ಒಣಗಿಡಕ್ಕೆ ಹತ್ತುವ ಕಿಚ್ಚಿನ ಪ್ರಕಾರ, ನೀರನ್ನು ಕುದಿಸುವ ಬೆಂಕಿಯೋಪಾದಿಯಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ನೀನು ಪ್ರತ್ಯಕ್ಷನಾಗಿ, ನಿನ್ನ ನಾಮಮಹತ್ತನ್ನು ನಿನ್ನ ಶತ್ರುಗಳಿಗೆ ತಿಳಿಯಪಡಿಸಿ, ಜನಾಂಗಗಳನ್ನು ನಿನ್ನ ದರ್ಶನದಿಂದ ನಡುಗಿಸಬಾರದೇ! BSB BSB: as fire kindles the brushwood and causes the water to boil, to make Your name known to Your enemies, so that the nations will tremble at Your presence!
3 ULB ಹೌದು, ನೀನು ಮೊದಲಿನಂತೆ ನಮ್ಮ ನಿರೀಕ್ಷೆಗೆ ಮೀರಿದ ಭಯಂಕರ ಕೃತ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ನಡೆಸಿ ಇಳಿದು ಬಂದು, ಪರ್ವತಗಳು ನಿನ್ನ ದರ್ಶನದಿಂದ ನಡುಗಿದರೆ ಎಷ್ಟೋ ಲೇಸು! BSB BSB: When You did awesome works that we did not expect, You came down, and the mountains trembled at Your presence.
4 ULB ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟರೆ ನಿರೀಕ್ಷಿಸುವವನಿಗೆ ಕಾರ್ಯಕರ್ತನಾದ ಯಾವ ದೇವರನ್ನೂ ಆದಿಯಿಂದ ಯಾರೂ ಕೇಳಲಿಲ್ಲ, ಯಾರ ಕಿವಿಗೂ ಬೀಳಲಿಲ್ಲ, ಯಾರ ಕಣ್ಣೂ ಕಾಣಲಿಲ್ಲ. BSB BSB: From ancient times no one has heard, no ear has perceived, no eye has seen any God besides You, who acts on behalf of those who wait for Him.
5 ULB ಧರ್ಮವನ್ನು ಅನುಸರಿಸಲು ಸಂತೋಷಪಟ್ಟು ನಿನ್ನ ಮಾರ್ಗದಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆಯುತ್ತಾ ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಸ್ಮರಿಸುವವರಿಗೆ ಪ್ರಸನ್ನನಾಗಿದ್ದಿ; ನಮ್ಮ ಮೇಲಾದರೋ ರೋಷಗೊಂಡಿದ್ದಿ; ಆದರೂ ಪಾಪದಲ್ಲಿ ಮುಳುಗಿರುವ ನಮಗೆ ರಕ್ಷಣೆಯಾದೀತೇ? BSB BSB: You welcome those who gladly do right, who remember Your ways. Surely You were angry, for we sinned. How can we be saved if we remain in our sins?
6 ULB ನಾವೆಲ್ಲರು ಅಶುದ್ಧನ ಹಾಗಿದ್ದೇವೆ, ನಮ್ಮ ಧರ್ಮಕಾರ್ಯಗಳೆಲ್ಲಾ ಹೊಲೆಯ ಬಟ್ಟೆಯಂತಿವೆ; ನಾವೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಎಲೆಗಳೋಪಾದಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಒಣಗಿಹೋಗಿದ್ದೇವೆ; ನಮ್ಮ ಅಪರಾಧಗಳು ಬಿರುಗಾಳಿಯ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಬಡಿದುಕೊಂಡು ಹೋಗಿವೆ. BSB BSB: Each of us has become like something unclean, and all our righteous acts are like filthy rags; we all wither like a leaf, and our iniquities carry us away like the wind.
7 ULB ಈಗ ನಿನ್ನ ಹೆಸರೆತ್ತಿ ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥಿಸಿ, ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಆಶ್ರಯಿಸಲು ತ್ರಾಣ ತಂದುಕೊಳ್ಳುವವನು ಎಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಇಲ್ಲ; ನೀನು ನಮಗೆ ವಿಮುಖನಾಗಿ ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ನಮ್ಮ ಅಪರಾಧಗಳಿಗೆ ವಶಮಾಡಿದ್ದಿಯಲ್ಲಾ. BSB BSB: No one calls on Your name or strives to take hold of You. For You have hidden Your face from us and delivered us into the hand of our iniquity.
8 ULB ಈಗಲಾದರೋ ಯೆಹೋವನೇ, ನೀನು ನಮ್ಮ ತಂದೆಯಾಗಿದ್ದಿ; ನೀನು ಕುಂಬಾರನು, ನಾವು ಜೇಡಿಮಣ್ಣು, ನಾವೆಲ್ಲರೂ ನಿನ್ನ ಕೈಕೆಲಸವೇ. BSB BSB: But now, O LORD, You are our Father; we are the clay, and You are the potter; we are all the work of Your hand.
9 ULB ಯೆಹೋವನೇ, ಅತಿರೋಷಗೊಳ್ಳದಿರು, ನಮ್ಮ ಅಧರ್ಮವನ್ನು ಕಡೆಯವರೆಗೂ ಜ್ಞಾಪಕದಲ್ಲಿಡಬೇಡ; ಎಲೈ, ಕರ್ತನೇ, ಕಟಾಕ್ಷಿಸು, ನಾವೆಲ್ಲರೂ ನಿನ್ನ ಜನರಾಗಿದ್ದೇವೆ. BSB BSB: Do not be angry, O LORD, beyond measure; do not remember our iniquity forever. Oh, look upon us, we pray; we are all Your people!
10 ULB ನಿನ್ನ ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧ ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳು ಕಾಡಾಗಿವೆ, ಚೀಯೋನು ಬೀಡಾಗಿದೆ, ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮು ಹಾಳಾಗಿ ಹೋಗಿದೆ. BSB BSB: Your holy cities have become a wilderness. Zion has become a wasteland and Jerusalem a desolation.
11 ULB ನಮ್ಮ ಪೂರ್ವಿಕರು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಕೀರ್ತಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಸುಂದರ ಪವಿತ್ರಾಲಯವನ್ನು ಬೆಂಕಿಯು ಸುಟ್ಟುಬಿಟ್ಟಿದೆ, ನಮ್ಮ ಅಮೂಲ್ಯ ವಸ್ತುಗಳೆಲ್ಲಾ ನಾಶವಾಗಿವೆ. BSB BSB: Our holy and beautiful temple, where our fathers praised You, has been burned with fire, and all that was dear to us lies in ruins.
12 ULB ಯೆಹೋವನೇ, ಇವುಗಳನ್ನು ನೋಡಿಯೂ ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಬಿಗಿಹಿಡಿಯುವಿಯೋ? ಸುಮ್ಮನಿರುವಿಯೋ? ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಹೆಚ್ಚಾಗಿ ಕುಗ್ಗಿಸುವಿಯೋ?>> BSB BSB: After all this, O LORD, will You restrain Yourself? Will You keep silent and afflict us beyond measure?
