1 ULB ಆ ಮೇಲೆ ಯೆಹೋವನು ನನಗೆ, <<ದೊಡ್ಡ ಹಲಗೆಯನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಸಾಧಾರಣ ಲೇಖನಿಯಿಂದಲೇ ವಿಷಯ ಸೂಚಕವಾದ ಈ ಪದವನ್ನು ಬರೆ, <ಮಹೇರ್ ಶಾಲಾಲ್ ಹಾಷ್ ಬಜ್> ಅಂದರೆ ಸೂರೆಗೆ ಅತುರ, ಕೊಳ್ಳೆಗೆ ಅವಸರ. BSB BSB: Then the LORD said to me, “Take a large scroll and write on it with an ordinary stylus: Maher-shalal-hash-baz.
2 ULB ನೀನು ಹೀಗೆ ಬರೆದದ್ದಕ್ಕೆ ಯಾಜಕನಾದ ಊರೀಯ, ಯೆಬೆರೆಕ್ಯನ ಮಗನಾದ ಜೆಕರ್ಯ ಈ ನಂಬಿಗಸ್ತರಾದ ಸಾಕ್ಷಿಗಳನ್ನು ಕರೆಯುವೆನು>> ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು. BSB BSB: And I will appoint for Myself trustworthy witnesses—Uriah the priest and Zechariah son of Jeberekiah.”
3 ULB ಅನಂತರ, <<ನಾನು ನನ್ನ ಹೆಂಡತಿಯೊಡನೆ ಸಂಗಮಿಸಲು ಆಕೆಯು ಬಸುರಾಗಿ ಗಂಡು ಮಗುವನ್ನು ಹೆತ್ತಳು. ಆಗ ಯೆಹೋವನು ನನಗೆ, ಅದಕ್ಕೆ <ಮಹೇರ್ ಶಾಲಾಲ್ ಹಾಷ್ ಬಜ್ ಎಂದು ಹೆಸರಿಡು> ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು. BSB BSB: And I had relations with the prophetess, and she conceived and gave birth to a son. The LORD said to me, “Name him Maher-shalal-hash-baz.
4 ULB ಆ ಮಗುವು, <ಅಪ್ಪಾ, ಅಮ್ಮಾ> ಎಂದು ಕೂಗಬಲ್ಲವನಾಗುವುದಕ್ಕಿಂತ ಮೊದಲೇ ಅಶ್ಶೂರದ ಅರಸನು ದಮಸ್ಕದ ಆಸ್ತಿಯನ್ನೂ, ಸಮಾರ್ಯದ ಸೂರೆಯನ್ನೂ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಹೋಗುವನು>> ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು. BSB BSB: For before the boy knows how to cry ‘Father’ or ‘Mother,’ the wealth of Damascus and the plunder of Samaria will be carried off by the king of Assyria.”
5 ULB ಯೆಹೋವನು ಮತ್ತೊಂದಾವರ್ತಿ ನನಗೆ ಹೀಗೆ ನುಡಿದನು, BSB BSB: And the LORD spoke to me further:
6 ULB <<ಈ ಜನರು ನಿಧಾನವಾಗಿ ಹರಿಯುವ ಸಿಲೋವದ ನೀರನ್ನು ತ್ಯಜಿಸಿ, ರೆಚೀನನನ್ನೂ, ರೆಮಲ್ಯನ ಮಗನನ್ನೂ ನಂಬಿ ಮೆರೆದಿದ್ದರಿಂದ, BSB BSB: “Because this people has rejected the gently flowing waters of Shiloah and rejoiced in Rezin and the son of Remaliah,
7 ULB ಇಗೋ ಕರ್ತನು ಪೂರ್ಣ ಪ್ರತಾಪದಿಂದ ಕೂಡಿದ ಅಶ್ಶೂರದ ಅರಸನೆಂಬ ಮಹಾನದಿಯ ರಭಸವಾದ ದೊಡ್ಡ ಪ್ರವಾಹವನ್ನು ಇವರ ಮೇಲೆ ಬರಮಾಡುವನು. ಅದು ತನ್ನ ಕಾಲುವೆಗಳನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಒಳಗೊಂಡು ದಡಗಳನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಮೀರಿ, BSB BSB: the Lord will surely bring against them the mighty floodwaters of the Euphrates—the king of Assyria and all his pomp. It will overflow its channels and overrun its banks.

BSB BSB: Huddle together, O peoples, and be shattered; pay attention, all you distant lands; prepare for battle, and be shattered; prepare for battle, and be shattered!

11 ULB ಯೆಹೋವನು ನನ್ನ ಮೇಲೆ ಬಲವಾಗಿ ಕೈಯನ್ನಿಟ್ಟು, ಈ ಜನರ ಮಾರ್ಗದಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆಯಬಾರದೆಂದು ನನಗೆ ಉಪದೇಶಿಸುತ್ತಾ ಹೀಗೆಂದನು, BSB BSB: For this is what the LORD has spoken to me with a strong hand, instructing me not to walk in the way of this people:
12 ULB <<ಇವರು ಯಾವುದನ್ನು ಒಪ್ಪಂದವೆನ್ನುತ್ತಾರೋ ನೀವು ಅದನ್ನು ಒಪ್ಪಂದವೆನ್ನಬೇಡಿರಿ; ಇವರು ಯಾವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಹೆದರುತ್ತಾರೋ ನೀವು ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಹೆದರಬೇಡಿರಿ, ನಡುಗಬೇಡಿರಿ. BSB BSB: “Do not call conspiracy everything these people regard as conspiracy. Do not fear what they fear; do not live in dread.
13 ULB ಸೇನಾಧೀಶ್ವರನಾದ ಯೆಹೋವನನ್ನೇ ಪ್ರತಿಷ್ಠೆಪಡಿಸಿರಿ; ಆತನಿಗೆ ಹೆದರಿಕೊಳ್ಳಿರಿ, ನಡುಗಿರಿ. BSB BSB: The LORD of Hosts is the One you shall regard as holy. Only He should be feared; only He should be dreaded.
14 ULB ಆತನು ಆಶ್ರಯವಾಗುವನು; ಆದರೆ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಎರಡು ಮನೆತನಕ್ಕೆ ಎಡವುವ ಕಲ್ಲೂ, ಮುಗ್ಗರಿಸುವ ಬಂಡೆಯೂ ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನ ನಿವಾಸಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಬಲೆಯೂ, ಪಂಜರವಾಗುವುದು. BSB BSB: And He will be a sanctuary—but to both houses of Israel a stone of stumbling and a rock of offense, to the dwellers of Jerusalem a trap and a snare.
15 ULB ಅವರಲ್ಲಿ ಅನೇಕರು ಎಡವಿ ಬಿದ್ದು ಭಂಗಪಡುವರು, ಬಲೆಗೆ ಸಿಕ್ಕಿ ವಶವಾಗುವರು.>> BSB BSB: Many will stumble over these; they will fall and be broken; they will be ensnared and captured.”
16 ULB ಬೋಧನೆಯನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟಿಡು, ನನ್ನ ಶಿಷ್ಯರೊಳಗೆ ಉಪದೇಶವನ್ನು ಮುಚ್ಚಿ ಮುದ್ರಿಸು. BSB BSB: Bind up the testimony and seal the law among my disciples.
17 ULB ಯಾಕೋಬಿನ ಮನೆತನದವರಿಗೆ ಮುಖವನ್ನು ಮರೆಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡಿರುವ ಯೆಹೋವನಿಗಾಗಿ ನಾನು ಕಾದುಕೊಂಡು ಎದುರು ನೋಡುತ್ತಿರುವೆನು. BSB BSB: I will wait for the LORD, who is hiding His face from the house of Jacob. I will put my trust in Him.
18 ULB ಆಹಾ, ನಾನೂ, ನನಗೆ ಯೆಹೋವನು ದಯಪಾಲಿಸಿರುವ ಮಕ್ಕಳೂ ಚೀಯೋನ್ ಪರ್ವತದಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸವಾಗಿರುವ ಸೇನಾಧೀಶ್ವರನಾದ ಯೆಹೋವನಿಂದ ಉಂಟಾದ ಗುರುತುಗಳಾಗಿಯೂ, ಅದ್ಭುತಗಳಾಗಿಯೂ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರ ಮಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿದ್ದೇವೆ. BSB BSB: Here am I, and the children the LORD has given me as signs and symbols in Israel from the LORD of Hosts, who dwells on Mount Zion.
20 ULB ದೇವರ ಉಪದೇಶವನ್ನೂ, ದೇವರ ಸಾಕ್ಷಿಯನ್ನೂ ವಿಚಾರಿಸುವ>> ಎಂದು ಅವರು ಹೇಳದಿದ್ದರೆ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಎಂದಿಗೂ ಬೆಳಗಾಗುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. BSB BSB: To the law and to the testimony! If they do not speak according to this word, they have no light of dawn.
21 ULB ಅವರು ಘೋರ ಕಷ್ಟಕ್ಕೊಳಗಾಗಿ ಹಸಿವೆಯಿಂದ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಅಲೆಯುವರು. ಅವರು ಹಸಿದಾಗ ಸಿಟ್ಟುಗೊಂಡು ತಮ್ಮ ಅರಸನನ್ನೂ, ತಮ್ಮ ದೇವರನ್ನೂ ಶಪಿಸಿ ಮೇಲಕ್ಕೆ ನೋಡುವರು. BSB BSB: They will roam the land, dejected and hungry. When they are famished, they will become enraged; and looking upward, they will curse their king and their God.
22 ULB ಮೇಲಕ್ಕೆ ಕಣ್ಣೆತ್ತಿದ್ದರೂ, ಭೂಮಿಯನ್ನು ದೃಷ್ಟಿಸಿದರೂ ಇಗೋ, ಇಕ್ಕಟ್ಟೆಂಬ ಕತ್ತಲೂ, ಸಂಕಟವೆಂಬ ಅಂಧಕಾರವೂ ಕವಿದುಕೊಂಡಿರುವುದು. ಕಾರ್ಗತ್ತಲೆಗೆ ತಳ್ಳಲ್ಪಡುವರು. BSB BSB: Then they will look to the earth and see only distress and darkness and the gloom of anguish. And they will be driven into utter darkness.
