3 ULB ಮರುದಿನ ಪಷ್ಹೂರನು ಯೆರೆಮೀಯನನ್ನು ಕೋಳದಿಂದ ಬಿಡಿಸಿದನು. ಆಗ ಯೆರೆಮೀಯನು ಅವನಿಗೆ ಹೀಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದನು, <<ಯೆಹೋವನು ನಿನ್ನ ಹೆಸರನ್ನು ಪಷ್ಹೂರ್ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳದೆ ಮಾಗೋರ್ ಮಿಸ್ಸಾಬೀಬ್ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದ್ದಾನೆ. BSB BSB: The next day, when Pashhur released Jeremiah from the stocks, Jeremiah said to him, “The LORD does not call you Pashhur, but Magor-missabib.

BSB BSB: For this is what the LORD says: ‘I will make you a terror to yourself and to all your friends. They will fall by the sword of their enemies before your very eyes. And I will hand Judah over to the king of Babylon, and he will carry them away to Babylon and put them to the sword.
5 ULB ಈ ಪಟ್ಟಣದ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಆಸ್ತಿಯನ್ನೂ, ಆದಾಯವನ್ನೂ ಮತ್ತು ಸಂಪತ್ತನ್ನೂ ಯೆಹೂದದ ಅರಸರ ಸಕಲ ನಿಧಿ, ನಿಕ್ಷೇಪಗಳನ್ನೂ ಅವರ ಶತ್ರುಗಳ ಕೈವಶಮಾಡುವೆನು; ಅವರು ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ಕೊಳ್ಳೆಹೊಡೆದು ಬಾಬೆಲೋನಿಗೆ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಹೋಗುವರು. BSB BSB: I will give away all the wealth of this city—all its products and valuables, and all the treasures of the kings of Judah—to their enemies. They will plunder them, seize them, and carry them off to Babylon.
6 ULB ಪಷ್ಹೂರನೇ, ನೀನೋ ನಿನ್ನ ಮನೆಯವರೆಲ್ಲರೊಡನೆ ಸೆರೆಗೆ ಹೋಗುವಿ. ನೀನೂ ಮತ್ತು ನಿನ್ನ ಮಿಥ್ಯಾ ಪ್ರವಾದನೆಯನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿದ ನಿನ್ನ ಸಕಲ ಸ್ನೇಹಿತರೂ ಬಾಬೆಲೋನಿಗೆ ಸೇರಿ ಅಲ್ಲೇ ಸತ್ತು ಮಣ್ಣಾಗುವಿರಿ>> ಎಂದು ನುಡಿದಿದ್ದಾನೆ. BSB BSB: And you, Pashhur, and all who live in your house, will go into captivity. You will go to Babylon, and there you will die and be buried—you and all your friends to whom you have prophesied these lies.’”
7 ULB ಯೆಹೋವನೇ, ನೀನು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಮರುಳುಗೊಳಿಸಿದಿ, ನಾನು ಮರುಳಾದೆನು; ನೀನು ನನಗಿಂತ ಬಲಿಷ್ಠನಾಗಿ ಗೆದ್ದುಕೊಂಡಿ; ನಾನು ಹಗಲೆಲ್ಲಾ ಗೇಲಿಗೆ ಗುರಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದೇನೆ, ಎಲ್ಲರೂ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಅಣಕಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ. BSB BSB: You have deceived me, O LORD, and I was deceived. You have overcome me and prevailed. I am a laughingstock all day long; everyone mocks me.
8 ULB ನಾನು ಮಾತನಾಡುವುದೆಲ್ಲಾ ಅರಚಾಟವೇ. <<ಬಲಾತ್ಕಾರ, ಕೊಳ್ಳೆ>> ಎಂದೇ ಕೂಗಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತೇನೆ. ನಾನು ಸಾರುವ ಯೆಹೋವನ ವಾಕ್ಯವು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಜನರ ದೂಷಣೆಗೂ ಪರಿಹಾಸ್ಯಕ್ಕೂ ಗುರಿಮಾಡಿದೆ. BSB BSB: For whenever I speak, I cry out; I proclaim violence and destruction. For the word of the LORD has become to me a reproach and derision all day long.
9 ULB <<ನಾನು ಯೆಹೋವನ ವಿಷಯವನ್ನು ಪ್ರಕಟಿಸುವುದಿಲ್ಲ, ಆತನ ಹೆಸರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಇನ್ನು ಮಾತನಾಡುವುದಿಲ್ಲ>> ಎಂದುಕೊಂಡರೆ, ಉರಿಯುವ ಬೆಂಕಿಯು ನನ್ನ ಎಲುಬುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಅಡಕವಾಗಿದೆಯೋ ಎಂಬಂತೆ ನನ್ನ ಹೃದಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂಕಟವಾಗುತ್ತದೆ, ಸಹಿಸಿ ಸಹಿಸಿ ಆಯಾಸಗೊಂಡಿದ್ದೇನೆ, ಇನ್ನು ಸಹಿಸಲಾರೆ. BSB BSB: If I say, “I will not mention Him or speak any more in His name,” His message becomes a fire burning in my heart, shut up in my bones, and I become weary of holding it in, and I cannot prevail.
10 ULB <<ಇವನ ಮೇಲೆ ದೂರು ಹೇಳಿರಿ, ನಾವೂ ಹೇಳುವೆವು>> ಎಂದು ಬಹು ಜನರು ಗುಸುಗುಟ್ಟುವುದನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿದ್ದೇನೆ. ಸುತ್ತುಮುತ್ತಲೂ ದಿಗಿಲು; ನನ್ನ ಆಪ್ತ ಸ್ನೇಹಿತರೆಲ್ಲರೂ <<ಇವನು ಎಡವಿ ಬೀಳಲಿ>> ಎಂದು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಹೊಂಚಿನೋಡುತ್ತಾ, <<ಒಂದು ವೇಳೆ ಸಿಕ್ಕಿಬಿದ್ದಾನು, ಇವನನ್ನು ಗೆದ್ದು ಮುಯ್ಯಿತೀರಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವೆವು>> ಎಂದು ತಮ್ಮತಮ್ಮೊಳಗೆ ಅಂದುಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ. BSB BSB: For I have heard the whispering of many: “Terror is on every side! Report him; let us report him!” All my trusted friends watch for my fall: “Perhaps he will be deceived so that we may prevail against him and take our vengeance upon him.”
11 ULB ಯೆಹೋವನಾದರೋ ಭಯಂಕರಶೂರನಾಗಿ ನನ್ನ ಸಂಗಡ ಇದ್ದಾನೆ. ಆದುದರಿಂದ ನನ್ನ ಹಿಂಸಕರು ಗೆಲ್ಲದೆ ಮುಗ್ಗರಿಸುವರು. ತಮ್ಮ ಇಷ್ಟಾರ್ಥವು ನೆರವೇರದ ಕಾರಣ ದೊಡ್ಡ ನಾಚಿಕೆಗೆ ಈಡಾಗುವರು, ಎಂದಿಗೂ ಮರೆಯದ ಶಾಶ್ವತ ಅವಮಾನಕ್ಕೆ ಒಳಗಾಗುವರು. BSB BSB: But the LORD is with me like a fearsome warrior. Therefore, my persecutors will stumble and will not prevail. Since they have not succeeded, they will be utterly put to shame, with an everlasting disgrace that will never be forgotten.
12 ULB ಹೃದಯವನ್ನೂ ಮತ್ತು ಅಂತರಿಂದ್ರಿಯವನ್ನೂ ಪರೀಕ್ಷಿಸಿ ಶಿಷ್ಟರನ್ನು ಶೋಧಿಸುವ ಸೇನಾಧೀಶ್ವರನಾದ ಯೆಹೋವನೇ, ನೀನು ನನ್ನ ಹಿಂಸಕರಿಗೆ ಕೊಡುವ ಪ್ರತಿಫಲವನ್ನು ನನ್ನ ಕಣ್ಣು ನೋಡಲಿ; ನಿನಗೇ ನನ್ನ ವ್ಯಾಜ್ಯವನ್ನು ಅರಿಕೆಮಾಡಿದ್ದೇನಷ್ಟೆ. BSB BSB: O LORD of Hosts, who examines the righteous, who sees the heart and mind, let me see Your vengeance upon them, for to You I have committed my cause.
13 ULB ಯೆಹೋವನನ್ನು ಕೀರ್ತಿಸಿರಿ, ಯೆಹೋವನನ್ನು ಸ್ತುತಿಸಿರಿ; ಆತನು ಕೆಡುಕರ ಕೈಯಿಂದ ದೀನನ ಪ್ರಾಣವನ್ನು ರಕ್ಷಿಸಿದ್ದಾನೆ. BSB BSB: Sing to the LORD! Praise the LORD! For He rescues the life of the needy from the hands of evildoers.
14 ULB ನಾನು ಹುಟ್ಟಿದ ದಿನ ಶಾಪಗ್ರಸ್ತವಾಗಲಿ, ತಾಯಿಯು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಹೆತ್ತ ದಿನವು ಅಶುಭವೆನ್ನಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲಿ! BSB BSB: Cursed be the day I was born! May the day my mother bore me never be blessed.
15 ULB <<ನಿನಗೆ ಗಂಡುಮಗು ಹುಟ್ಟಿದೆ>> ಎಂಬ ಸಮಾಚಾರವನ್ನು ನನ್ನ ತಂದೆಗೆ ತಿಳಿಸಿ ಅವನಿಗೆ ಕೇವಲ ಆನಂದವನ್ನು ಉಂಟುಮಾಡಿದವನು ಶಪಿಸಲ್ಪಡಲಿ! BSB BSB: Cursed be the man who brought my father the news, saying, “A son is born to you,” bringing him great joy.
16 ULB ಯೆಹೋವನು ಕನಿಕರಪಡದೆ ಕೆಡವಿಬಿಟ್ಟ ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳ ಗತಿಯು ಅವನಿಗೆ ಬರಲಿ. ಮುಂಜಾನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅರಚಾಟವು, ಮಧ್ಯಾಹ್ನದಲ್ಲಿ ಕೂಗಾಟವು ಅವನ ಕಿವಿಗೆ ಬೀಳಲಿ! BSB BSB: May that man be like the cities that the LORD overthrew without compassion. May he hear an outcry in the morning and a battle cry at noon,
17 ULB ಅವನು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಗರ್ಭದಲ್ಲೇ ಕೊಲ್ಲಲಿಲ್ಲವಲ್ಲಾ; ಹೀಗೆ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದರೆ ನನ್ನ ತಾಯಿಯೇ ನನಗೆ ಗೋರಿಯಾಗುತ್ತಿದ್ದಳು, ಆಕೆಯ ಗರ್ಭವು ಯಾವಾಗಲೂ ಬಸುರಾಗಿಯೇ ಇರುತ್ತಿತ್ತು. BSB BSB: because he did not kill me in the womb so that my mother might have been my grave, and her womb forever enlarged.
18 ULB ನಾನು ಶ್ರಮದುಃಖಗಳನ್ನು ನೋಡುವುದಕ್ಕೂ, ನನ್ನ ಆಯುಸ್ಸು ಅವಮಾನದಿಂದ ಕ್ಷಯಿಸುವುದಕ್ಕೂ ಗರ್ಭದಿಂದ ಏಕೆ ಹೊರಟು ಬಂದೆನು? BSB BSB: Why did I come out of the womb to see only trouble and sorrow, and to end my days in shame?
