5 ULB ದುಷ್ಟರ ಉತ್ಸಾಹ ಧ್ವನಿಯು ಅಲ್ಪಕಾಲದ್ದು, ಭ್ರಷ್ಟನ ಉಲ್ಲಾಸವು ಕ್ಷಣಿಕವಾದದ್ದು ಎಂದು ನಿನಗೆ ಗೊತ್ತಿಲ್ಲವೋ? BSB BSB: the triumph of the wicked has been brief and the joy of the godless momentary?

8 ULB ಅವನು ಸ್ವಪ್ನದಂತೆ ಮರೆಯಾಗಿ ಸಿಕ್ಕುವುದಿಲ್ಲ, ರಾತ್ರಿಯ ಕನಸಿನ ಹಾಗೆ ಓಡಿಹೋಗುವನು. BSB BSB: He will fly away like a dream, never to be found; he will be chased away like a vision in the night.
9 ULB ಕಂಡವನ ಕಣ್ಣಿಗೆ ಮತ್ತೆ ಕಾಣಿಸನು, ಅವನ ನಿವಾಸವು ಅವನನ್ನು ತಿರುಗಿ ನೋಡುವುದೇ ಇಲ್ಲ. BSB BSB: The eye that saw him will see him no more, and his place will no longer behold him.
10 ULB ಅವನ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ದರಿದ್ರರ ದಯೆಯನ್ನು ಬೇಡುವರು. ಅವನು ತನ್ನ ಕೈಯಿಂದಲೇ ತನ್ನ ಆಸ್ತಿಯನ್ನು ಹಿಂದಕ್ಕೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟು ಬಿಡಬೇಕಾಗುವುದು. BSB BSB: His sons will seek the favor of the poor, for his own hands must return his wealth.

15 ULB ನುಂಗಿದ ಐಶ್ವರ್ಯವನ್ನು ಅವನು ಕಾರುವನು, ದೇವರು ಅವನ ಹೊಟ್ಟೆಯೊಳಗಿಂದ ಅದನ್ನು ಕಕ್ಕಿಸಿ ಬಿಡುವನು. BSB BSB: He swallows wealth but vomits it out; God will force it from his stomach.
16 ULB ಅವನು ಚೀಪುವುದು ಹಾವಿನ ವಿಷವೇ, ಸರ್ಪದ ನಾಲಿಗೆಯು ಅವನನ್ನು ಕೊಲ್ಲುವುದು. BSB BSB: He will suck the poison of cobras; the fangs of a viper will kill him.
17 ULB ಜೇನೂ, ಮೊಸರೂ ಸಮೃದ್ಧಿಯಾಗಿ ಹರಿಯುವ ನದಿಗಳನ್ನು ಅವನು ನೋಡುವುದೇ ಇಲ್ಲ. BSB BSB: He will not enjoy the streams, the rivers flowing with honey and cream.
18 ULB ಅವನು ದುಡಿದದ್ದನ್ನು ಅನುಭವಿಸದೆ ಪರರ ಪಾಲು ಮಾಡುವನು, ಅವನ ಲಾಭದಿಂದಾಗತಕ್ಕ ಆನಂದವು ಅವನಿಗೆ ಸಿಕ್ಕುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. BSB BSB: He must return the fruit of his labor without consuming it; he cannot enjoy the profits of his trading.
19 ULB ಅವನು ಬಡವರನ್ನು ಜಜ್ಜಿ ತ್ಯಜಿಸಿಬಿಟ್ಟಿದ್ದಾನಲ್ಲಾ; ಸುಲಿಗೆಯಿಂದ ಕಿತ್ತುಕೊಂಡ ಮನೆಯನ್ನು ಭದ್ರಪಡಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳದೆ ಹೋಗುವನು. BSB BSB: For he has oppressed and forsaken the poor; he has seized houses he did not build.
20 ULB ಅವನ ಹೊಟ್ಟೆಗೆ ತೃಪ್ತಿಯಿಲ್ಲವಾದ ಕಾರಣ, ಅವನು ತನ್ನ ಇಷ್ಟ ಸಂಪತ್ತಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾವುದನ್ನೂ ಉಳಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. BSB BSB: Because his appetite is never satisfied, he cannot escape with his treasure.
21 ULB ಏನೂ ಉಳಿಯದಂತೆ ಅವನು ನುಂಗಿಬಿಟ್ಟಿದರಿಂದ; ಅವನ ಸುಖವು ಅಸ್ಥಿರವಾಗಿರುವುದು. BSB BSB: Nothing is left for him to consume; thus his prosperity will not endure.
22 ULB ಸಮೃದ್ಧಿಯು ತುಂಬಿರುವಾಗಲೇ ಅವನಿಗೆ ಇಕ್ಕಟ್ಟಾಗುವುದು. ಶ್ರಮೆಯನ್ನು ಅನುಭವಿಸುವ ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಬ್ಬನ ಕೈ ಅವನ ಮೇಲೆ ಬೀಳುವುದು. BSB BSB: In the midst of his plenty, he will be distressed; the full force of misery will come upon him.
23 ULB ಅವನ ಹೊಟ್ಟೆ ತುಂಬುವುದು, ಹೌದು, ದೇವರು ತನ್ನ ಕೋಪಾಗ್ನಿಯನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸಿ; ಅದನ್ನೇ ಆಹಾರವನ್ನಾಗಿ ಅವನ ಮೇಲೆ ಸುರಿಸುವನು. BSB BSB: When he has filled his stomach, God will vent His fury upon him, raining it down on him as he eats.
24 ULB ಕಬ್ಬಿಣದ ಆಯುಧದ ದೆಸೆಯಿಂದ ಓಡಿಹೋಗುವನು, ತಾಮ್ರದ ಬಿಲ್ಲು ಅವನನ್ನು ಇರಿಯುವುದು. BSB BSB: Though he flees from an iron weapon, a bronze-tipped arrow will pierce him.
25 ULB ಅವನು ಬಾಣವನ್ನು ಕೀಳಲು ಅದು ಬೆನ್ನಿನಿಂದ ಹೊರಬರುವುದು, ಥಳಥಳಿಸುತ್ತಾ ಅವನ ಪಿತ್ತಕೋಶದೊಳಗಿಂದ ಹೊರಡುತ್ತಿರುವುದು, ಭಯಭ್ರಾಂತಿಗಳು ಅವನನ್ನು ಮುತ್ತಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವವು. BSB BSB: It is drawn out of his back, the gleaming point from his liver. Terrors come over him.

28 ULB ದೇವರ ಸಿಟ್ಟಿನ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ಅವನ ಮನೆಯ ಧನಧಾನ್ಯಗಳು, ಪ್ರವಾಹದಿಂದ ಕೊಚ್ಚಿಕೊಂಡು ತೊಲಗಿಹೋಗುವವು. BSB BSB: The possessions of his house will be removed, flowing away on the day of God’s wrath.
29 ULB ದುಷ್ಟನಿಗೆ ದೇವರಿಂದ ದೊರೆಯುವ ಪಾಲೂ, ದೇವರು ನೇಮಿಸಿರುವ ಸ್ವಾಸ್ತ್ಯವೂ ಇವೇ.>> BSB BSB: This is the wicked man’s portion from God, the inheritance God has appointed him.”
