2 ULB <<ನನ್ನಲ್ಲಿ ಜೀವವು ಇನ್ನೂ ಪೂರ್ಣವಾಗಿದೆ, ದೇವರು ಊದಿದ ಶ್ವಾಸವು ನನ್ನ ಮೂಗಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಇನ್ನೂ ಆಡುತ್ತಿದೆ (ಕೇಳಿರಿ)! BSB BSB: “As surely as God lives, who has deprived me of justice—the Almighty, who has embittered my soul—
3 ULB ನನ್ನ ನ್ಯಾಯವನ್ನು ತಪ್ಪಿಸಿದ ದೇವರಾಣೆ, ನನ್ನ ಆತ್ಮವನ್ನು ವ್ಯಥೆಪಡಿಸಿರುವ ಸರ್ವಶಕ್ತನಾದ ದೇವರಾಣೆ, BSB BSB: as long as my breath is still within me and the breath of God remains in my nostrils,
4 ULB ನನ್ನ ತುಟಿಗಳು ಅನ್ಯಾಯವನ್ನು ನುಡಿಯುವುದೇ ಇಲ್ಲ, ನನ್ನ ನಾಲಿಗೆಯು ಎಂದಿಗೂ ಮೋಸದ ಮಾತುಗಳನ್ನಾಡುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. BSB BSB: my lips will not speak wickedness, and my tongue will not utter deceit.
5 ULB ನೀವು ನ್ಯಾಯವಂತರೆಂದು ನಾನು ಒಪ್ಪುವುದು ಅಸಾಧ್ಯ. ಸಾಯುವ ತನಕ ನನ್ನ ಯಥಾರ್ಥತ್ವವನ್ನು ಬಿಡುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. BSB BSB: I will never say that you are right; I will maintain my integrity until I die.
6 ULB ನನ್ನ ನೀತಿಯನ್ನು ಎಂದಿಗೂ ಬಿಡದೆ ಭದ್ರವಾಗಿ ಹಿಡಿದುಕೊಳ್ಳುವೆನು. ನನ್ನ ಜೀವಮಾನದ ಯಾವ ದಿನಚರಿಯಲ್ಲಿಯೂ, ಮನಸ್ಸಾಕ್ಷಿಯು ತಪ್ಪು ತೋರಿಸುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. BSB BSB: I will cling to my righteousness and never let go. As long as I live, my conscience will not accuse me.
7 ULB ನನ್ನ ಹಗೆಗೆ ದುಷ್ಟನ ಗತಿಯಾಗಲಿ, ನನ್ನ ವಿರುದ್ಧವಾಗಿ ಎದ್ದವನು ಅ ನೀತಿವಂತನ ಗತಿಯನ್ನು ಕಾಣಲಿ! BSB BSB: May my enemy be like the wicked and my opponent like the unjust.
8 ULB ದೇವರು ಭ್ರಷ್ಟನ ಆತ್ಮವನ್ನು ಕಡಿದು ಎಳೆಯುವಾಗ, ಅವನಿಗೆ ನಿರೀಕ್ಷೆಯೆಲ್ಲಿರುವುದು? BSB BSB: For what is the hope of the godless when he is cut off, when God takes away his life?
9 ULB ಅವನಿಗೆ ಶ್ರಮೆ ಬರಲು, ದೇವರು ಅವನ ಮೊರೆಯನ್ನು ಆಲೈಸುವನೋ? BSB BSB: Will God hear his cry when distress comes upon him?
10 ULB ಅವನು ಸರ್ವಶಕ್ತನಾದ ದೇವರಲ್ಲಿ ಆನಂದಪಟ್ಟು, ಆತನನ್ನು ಸರ್ವದಾ ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥಿಸುವನೇ? BSB BSB: Will he delight in the Almighty? Will he call upon God at all times?
11 ULB ನಾನು ಸರ್ವಶಕ್ತನಾದ ದೇವರ ಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ಮರೆಮಾಡದೆ; ದೇವರ ಹಸ್ತದ ಮಹಿಮೆಯ ವಿಷಯವನ್ನು ನಿಮಗೆ ಬೋಧಿಸುವೆನು. BSB BSB: I will instruct you in the power of God. I will not conceal the ways of the Almighty.
12 ULB ಇಗೋ, ನೀವೆಲ್ಲರು ಸ್ವತಃ ನೋಡಿದ್ದೀರಿ; ಏಕೆ ಇಂಥ ವ್ಯರ್ಥವಾದ ಆಲೋಚನೆಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತೀರಿ? BSB BSB: Surely all of you have seen it for yourselves. Why then do you keep up this empty talk?
13 ULB ದುಷ್ಟನಿಗೆ ದೇವರಿಂದ ದೊರೆಯುವ ಪಾಲೂ, ಹಿಂಸಿಸುವವನಿಗೆ ಸರ್ವಶಕ್ತನಾದ ದೇವರಿಂದ ಸಿಕ್ಕುವ ಸ್ವಾಸ್ತ್ಯವೂ ಹೀಗಿರುತ್ತದೆ. BSB BSB: This is the wicked man’s portion from God—the heritage the ruthless receive from the Almighty.
14 ULB ಅವನಿಗೆ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಹೆಚ್ಚಿದರೆ ಕತ್ತಿಗೆ ತುತ್ತಾಗುವರು, ಅವನ ಸಂತತಿಯವರಿಗೆ ಅನ್ನದ ಕೊರತೆ ತಪ್ಪದು. BSB BSB: Though his sons are many, they are destined for the sword; and his offspring will never have enough food.
15 ULB ಅವನ ಮನೆಯವರಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾರಾದರೂ ಉಳಿದರೆ ವ್ಯಾಧಿಯು ಅವರನ್ನು ಮಣ್ಣಿಗೆ ಸೇರಿಸುವುದು, ಅವರ ವಿಧವೆಯರು ದುಃಖಕ್ರಿಯೆಗಳನ್ನು ನೆರವೇರಿಸುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. BSB BSB: His survivors will be buried by the plague, and their widows will not weep for them.

17 ULB ಆ ವಸ್ತ್ರಗಳನ್ನು ನೀತಿವಂತರು ಧರಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವರು. ಆ ಬೆಳ್ಳಿಯನ್ನು ನಿರ್ದೋಷಿಗಳು ಹಂಚಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವರು. BSB BSB: what he lays up, the righteous will wear, and his silver will be divided by the innocent.
18 ULB ಅವನು ಕಟ್ಟಿಕೊಂಡ ಮನೆಯು ಜೇಡರ ಹುಳದ ಗೂಡಿನಂತೆಯೂ, ಕಾವಲುಗಾರನು ಹಾಕಿಕೊಂಡ ಗುಡಿಸಿಲಂತೆಯೂ ದುರ್ಬಲವಾಗಿರುವುದು. BSB BSB: The house he built is like a moth’s cocoon, like a hut set up by a watchman.
19 ULB ಅವನು ಧನಿಕನಾಗಿ ನಿದ್ರಿಸಿದರೂ ಮತ್ತೆ ನಿದ್ರೆಯನ್ನು ಕಾಣದೆ ಹೋಗುವನು, ತನ್ನ ಕಣ್ಣನ್ನು ತೆರೆಯುತ್ತಲೇ ಎಲ್ಲವೂ ಮಾಯವಾಗುತ್ತದೆ. BSB BSB: He lies down wealthy, but will do so no more; when he opens his eyes, all is gone.
20 ULB ವಿಪತ್ತಿನ ಹೊಳೆಗಳು ಅವನನ್ನು ಹಿಂದಟ್ಟಿ ಹಿಡಿಯುವವು, ರಾತ್ರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಬಿರುಗಾಳಿಯು ಅವನನ್ನು ಅಪಹರಿಸುವುದು. BSB BSB: Terrors overtake him like a flood; a tempest sweeps him away in the night.
21 ULB ಮೂಡಣ ಗಾಳಿಯು ಕೊಚ್ಚಿಕೊಂಡು ಹೋಗುವುದರಿಂದ ಅವನು ಹಾರಿ ಹೋಗುವನು, ಅದು ಅವನನ್ನು ಬಡಿದು ಅವನ ಸ್ಥಳದಿಂದ ದೂರಮಾಡುವುದು. BSB BSB: The east wind carries him away, and he is gone; it sweeps him out of his place.

23 ULB ಜನರು ಅವನನ್ನು ನೋಡಿ ಚಪ್ಪಾಳೆಹೊಡೆದು ಛೀಮಾರಿ ಹಾಕಿ, ಆಚೆಗೆ ಹೊರಡಿಸುವರು.>> BSB BSB: It claps its hands at him and hisses him out of his place.
