1ಆಗ ಯೆಹೋವನು ಬಿರುಗಾಳಿಯೊಳಗಿಂದ ಯೋಬನಿಗೆ ಪ್ರತ್ಯುತ್ತರವಾಗಿ ಹೀಗೆಂದನು,Then the LORD answered Job out of the whirlwind and said:

2<<ಅಜ್ಞಾನದ ಮಾತುಗಳಿಂದ ಸತ್ಯಾಲೋಚನೆಯನ್ನು ಮಂಕುಮಾಡುವ ಇವನು ಯಾರು?“Who is this who obscures My counsel by words without knowledge?

3ಶೂರನಂತೆ ನಡುಕಟ್ಟಿಕೋ; ನಾನು ಪ್ರಶ್ನೆಮಾಡುವೆನು, ನೀನೇ ನನಗೆ ಉಪದೇಶಿಸು.Now brace yourself like a man; I will question you, and you shall inform Me.

4ನಾನು ಲೋಕಕ್ಕೆ ಅಸ್ತಿವಾರ ಹಾಕಿದಾಗ ನೀನು ಎಲ್ಲಿದ್ದಿ? ನೀನು ಜ್ಞಾನಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದರೆ ಹೇಳು.Where were you when I laid the foundations of the earth? Tell Me, if you have understanding.

5ಅದರ ಅಳತೆಗಳನ್ನು ಯಾರು ಗೊತ್ತುಮಾಡಿದರು? ನೀನೇ ಬಲ್ಲೆ. ಅದರ ಮೇಲೆ ನೂಲುಹಿಡಿದವರು ಯಾರು?Who fixed its measurements? Surely you know! Or who stretched a measuring line across it?

6ಭೂಲೋಕದ ಅಸ್ತಿವಾರವು ಯಾವುದರ ಮೇಲೆ ನೆಲೆಗೊಂಡವು? ಅದರ ಮೂಲೆಗಲ್ಲನ್ನು ಹಾಕಿದವರು ಯಾರು?On what were its foundations set, or who laid its cornerstone,

7ಮುಂಜಾನೆ ನಕ್ಷತ್ರಗಳು ಒಟ್ಟಾಗಿ ಉತ್ಸಾಹ ಧ್ವನಿಯೆತ್ತುತ್ತಾ ದೇವಕುಮಾರರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಆನಂದ ಘೋಷಮಾಡುತ್ತಾ ಇರಲು,while the morning stars sang together and all the sons of God shouted for joy?

8ಸಮುದ್ರವು ಭೂಗರ್ಭವನ್ನು ಭೇದಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಬರಲು, ಅದರ ದ್ವಾರಗಳನ್ನು ಮುಚ್ಚಿದವರು ಯಾರು?Who enclosed the sea behind doors when it burst forth from the womb,

9ಆ ಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ನಾನು ಮೋಡಗಳನ್ನು ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ವಸ್ತ್ರವನ್ನಾಗಿಯೂ, ಕಾರ್ಗತ್ತಲನ್ನು ಸುತ್ತುಬಟ್ಟೆಯನ್ನಾಗಿಯೂ ಮಾಡಿದೆನಲ್ಲವೆ?when I made the clouds its garment and thick darkness its blanket,

10ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಸಮುದ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ನನ್ನ ಇಷ್ಟದ ಮೇರೆಯನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟಿ, ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಅಗುಳಿ, ಕದಗಳನ್ನು ಹಾಕಿದೆನುwhen I fixed its boundaries and set in place its bars and doors,

11<ಇಲ್ಲಿಯ ತನಕ ಬರಬಹುದು; ಮೀರಿ ಬರಬೇಡ, ನಿನ್ನ ತೆರೆಗಳ ಹೆಮ್ಮೆಗೆ ಇಲ್ಲೇ ತಡೆಯಾಗುವುದು> ಎಂದು ಅಪ್ಪಣೆಕೊಟ್ಟೆನು.and I declared: ‘You may come this far, but no farther; here your proud waves must stop’?

12ನಿನ್ನ ಜೀವಮಾನದಲ್ಲಿ ಎಂದಾದರೂ <ಅರುಣೋದಯವಾಗಲಿ> ಎಂದು ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಿರುವೆಯೋ? ಮುಂಜಾನೆಯ ಬೆಳಗಿಗೆ ಇರತಕ್ಕ ಸ್ಥಳವನ್ನು ಗೊತ್ತುಮಾಡಿದೆಯಾ?In your days, have you commanded the morning or assigned the dawn its place,

13ಭೂಮಿಯ ಅಂಚುಗಳನ್ನು ಹಿಡಿದು ದುಷ್ಟರನ್ನು ಅದರೊಳಗಿಂದ ಒದರಿಬಿಡು ಎಂದು ಉದಯಕ್ಕೆ ಅಪ್ಪಣೆಕೊಟ್ಟೆಯಾ?that it might spread to the ends of the earth and shake the wicked out of it?

14ಮುದ್ರೆ ಒತ್ತಿದ ಜೇಡಿಮಣ್ಣಿನಂತೆ ಬೆಳಗಾಗುವಾಗ ಭೂಮಿಯು ರೂಪ ತಾಳುತ್ತದೆ. ಎಲ್ಲಾ ವಸ್ತುಗಳು ನೆರಿಗೆ ಕಟ್ಟಿದ ಉಡಿಗೆಯಂತೆ ಕಾಣಿಸುವವು.The earth takes shape like clay under a seal; its hills stand out like the folds of a garment.

15ಮತ್ತು ದುಷ್ಟರಿಗೆ ಬೆಳಕಿಲ್ಲವಾಗುವುದು, ಎತ್ತಿದ ಕೈ ಮುರಿಯುವುದು.Light is withheld from the wicked, and their upraised arm is broken.

16ಎಂದಾದರೂ ಸಮುದ್ರದ ಬುಗ್ಗೆಗಳೊಳಗೆ ಸೇರಿದ್ದೆಯೋ? ಭೂಮಿಯ ಕೆಳಗಣ ಸಾಗರದ ಗುಪ್ತ ಪ್ರದೇಶಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ತಿರುಗಾಡಿದ್ದೀಯೋ?Have you journeyed to the vents of the sea or walked in the trenches of the deep?

17ಮರಣದ ಬಾಗಿಲುಗಳು ನಿನಗೆ ಗೋಚರವಾದವೋ? ಘೋರಾಂಧಕಾರದ ಕದಗಳನ್ನು ಕಂಡೆಯಾ?Have the gates of death been revealed to you? Have you seen the gates of the shadow of death?

18ಭೂಮಿಯ ವಿಸ್ತಾರವನ್ನು ಗ್ರಹಿಸಿದ್ದೀಯೋ? ಇದೆಲ್ಲಾ ನಿನಗೆ ಗೊತ್ತಿದ್ದರೆ ತಿಳಿಸು.Have you surveyed the extent of the earth? Tell Me, if you know all this.

19ಬೆಳಕಿನ ನಿವಾಸಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಗುವ ದಾರಿ ಎಲ್ಲಿ? ಕತ್ತಲಿನ ಸ್ವಸ್ಥಳವು ಎಲ್ಲಿ?Where is the way to the home of light? Do you know where darkness resides,

20ನೀನು ಆ ಒಂದೊಂದನ್ನೂ ಅದರದರ ಪ್ರಾಂತ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ಕರೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಹೋಗಿ, ಅವುಗಳ ಮನೆಯ ಹಾದಿಗಳನ್ನು ಕಂಡುಕೊಳ್ಳಬಲ್ಲೆಯಾ?so you can lead it back to its border? Do you know the paths to its home?

21ನಿನಗೆ ತಿಳಿದಿರಬೇಕು; ಆಗಲೂ ಹುಟ್ಟಿದ್ದಿಯಲ್ಲವೆ; ನಿನ್ನ ದಿನಗಳ ಸಂಖ್ಯೆ ಬಹಳ ದೊಡ್ಡದು!Surely you know, for you were already born! And the number of your days is great!

22ನಾನು ಇಕ್ಕಟ್ಟಿನ ಕಾಲಕ್ಕಾಗಿಯೂ, ಯುದ್ಧಕದನಗಳ ದಿನಕ್ಕಾಗಿಯೂ ಇಟ್ಟುಕೊಂಡಿರುವ,Have you entered the storehouses of snow or observed the storehouses of hail,

23ಹಿಮದ ಭಂಡಾರಗಳನ್ನು ಪ್ರವೇಶಿಸಿದ್ದೀಯಾ? ಕಲ್ಮಳೆಯ ಬೊಕ್ಕಸಗಳನ್ನು ನೋಡಿದ್ದೀಯಾ?which I hold in reserve for times of trouble, for the day of war and battle?

24ಬೆಳಕನ್ನು ಭಾಗಿಸುವುದಕ್ಕೆ, ಬಿಸಿಗಾಳಿಯನ್ನು ಭೂಮಿಯ ಮೇಲೆ ವಿಸ್ತರಿಸುವುದಕ್ಕೂ ಮಾರ್ಗವೆಲ್ಲಿ?In which direction is the lightning dispersed, or the east wind scattered over the earth?

25ನಿರ್ಜನ ಪ್ರದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ, ಮನುಷ್ಯರೇ ಇಲ್ಲದ ಕಾಡಿನಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಮಳೆಯನ್ನು ಸುರಿಸಿ,Who cuts a channel for the flood or clears a path for the thunderbolt,

26ಹಾಳುಬೀಳಾದ ಭೂಮಿಯನ್ನು ತೃಪ್ತಿಪಡಿಸಿ, ಹಸಿ ಹುಲ್ಲನ್ನು ಬೆಳೆಯಿಸಬೇಕೆಂದು,to bring rain on a barren land, on a desert where no man lives,

27ಅತಿವೃಷ್ಟಿಯ ಪ್ರವಾಹಕ್ಕೆ ಕಾಲುವೆಯನ್ನೂ, ಗರ್ಜಿಸುವ ಸಿಡಿಲಿಗೆ ದಾರಿಯನ್ನೂ ಯಾರು ಕಡಿದರು?to satisfy the parched wasteland and make it sprout with tender grass?

28ಮಳೆಗೆ ತಂದೆಯುಂಟೋ? ಮಂಜಿನ ಹನಿಗಳನ್ನು ಪಡೆದವನು ಯಾರು?Does the rain have a father? Who has begotten the drops of dew?

29ಹಿಮದ ಗಡ್ಡೆಯು ಯಾರ ಗರ್ಭದಿಂದ ಹೊರಟಿತು? ಆಕಾಶದ ಇಬ್ಬನಿಯನ್ನು ಯಾರು ಹೆತ್ತರು?From whose womb does the ice emerge? Who gives birth to the frost from heaven,

30ನೀರು ಕಲ್ಲಿನಂತೆ ಗಟ್ಟಿಯಾಗುವುದು; ಸಾಗರದ ಮೇಲ್ಭಾಗವೂ ಹೆಪ್ಪುಗೊಳ್ಳುವುದು.when the waters become hard as stone and the surface of the deep is frozen?

31ನೀನು ಕೃತ್ತಿಕೆಯ ಸರಪಣಿಯನ್ನು ಬಿಗಿದು, ಮೃಗಶಿರದ ಸಂಕೋಲೆಯನ್ನು ಬಿಚ್ಚುವೆಯಾ?Can you bind the chains of the Pleiades or loosen the belt of Orion?

32ಆಯಾ ಸಮಯದಲ್ಲಿ ನಕ್ಷತ್ರ ರಾಶಿಗಳನ್ನು ಬರಮಾಡುವೆಯೋ? ನಕ್ಷತ್ರ ಮಂಡಲ ಪರಿವಾರದೊಡನೆ ನಡೆಸುವೆಯಾ?Can you bring forth the constellations in their seasons or lead out the Bear and her cubs?

33ಖಗೋಳದ ಕಟ್ಟಳೆಗಳನ್ನು ತಿಳಿದುಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದೀಯೋ? ಅದರ ಆಳ್ವಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ಭೂಮಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ಥಾಪಿಸಿದ್ದೀಯಾ?Do you know the laws of the heavens? Can you set their dominion over the earth?

34ಮೋಡಗಳನ್ನು ಮುಟ್ಟುವಂತೆ ನೀನು ಧ್ವನಿಯೆತ್ತಿದ ಮಾತ್ರಕ್ಕೆ, ಹೇರಳವಾದ ನೀರು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಆವರಿಸುವುದೋ?Can you command the clouds so that a flood of water covers you?

35ಸಿಡಿಲುಗಳು ನಿನ್ನ ಅಪ್ಪಣೆಯಂತೆ ಹೋಗಿ ಬಂದು, <ಇಗೋ, ಬಂದಿದ್ದೇವೆ> ಎನ್ನುವವೋ?Can you send the lightning bolts on their way? Do they report to you, ‘Here we are’?

36ಯಾರು ಕಾರ್ಮುಗಿಲಿಗೆ ಜ್ಞಾನವನ್ನು ದಯಪಾಲಿಸಿದರು? ಉತ್ಪಾತಗಳಿಗೆ ವಿವೇಕವನ್ನು ಅನುಗ್ರಹಿಸಿದವರು ಯಾರು?Who has put wisdom in the heart or given understanding to the mind?

37ಜ್ಞಾನದಿಂದ ಯಾರು ಮೇಘಗಳನ್ನು ಲೆಕ್ಕಿಸುವರು? ಆಕಾಶದಲ್ಲಿನ ಬುದ್ದಲಿಗಳನ್ನು ಮೊಗಚಿಹಾಕಿ,Who has the wisdom to count the clouds? Or who can tilt the water jars of the heavens

38ಧೂಳು ಹರಿದು ಒತ್ತಟ್ಟಿಗೆ ಸೇರುವಂತೆಯೂ, ಹೆಂಟೆಗಳು ಒಂದಕ್ಕೊಂದು ಅಂಟಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವಂತೆಯೂ ಯಾರು ಮಾಡುವರು?when the dust hardens into a mass and the clods of earth stick together?

39ಗವಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮಲಗಿರುವ ಸಿಂಹಕ್ಕೆ ಆಹಾರ ಒದಗಿಸಲು ಬೇಟೆಯಾಡುವೆಯಾ?Can you hunt the prey for a lioness or satisfy the hunger of young lions

40ಅವುಗಳು ಗುಹೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕುಳಿತುಕೊಳ್ಳುವಾಗ, ಪೊದೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹೊಂಚುಹಾಕಿರುವ ಪ್ರಾಯದ ಸಿಂಹಗಳ ಆಶೆಯನ್ನು ತೀರಿಸುವೆಯೋ?when they crouch in their dens and lie in wait in the thicket?

41ತಮ್ಮ ಮರಿಗಳು, ಗುಟುಕಿಲ್ಲದೆ ಅಲೆಯುತ್ತಾ ದೇವರಿಗೆ ಮೊರೆಯಿಡುವಾಗ, ಕಾಗೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಆಹಾರವನ್ನು ಯಾರು ಒದಗಿಸುವರು?>>Who provides food for the raven when its young cry out to God as they wander about for lack of food?
