1 ULB ಆಗ ಯೋಬನು ಯೆಹೋವನಿಗೆ ಪ್ರತ್ಯುತ್ತರವಾಗಿ ಹೀಗೆಂದನು, BSB BSB: Then Job replied to the LORD:
2 ULB <<ನೀನು ಸಕಲ ಕಾರ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ನಡೆಸಬಲ್ಲೆಯೆಂತಲೂ, ಯಾವ ಸಂಕಲ್ಪವೂ ನಿನಗೆ ಅಸಾಧ್ಯವಲ್ಲವೆಂತಲೂ ತಿಳಿದುಕೊಂಡೇ ಇದ್ದೇನೆ. BSB BSB: “I know that You can do all things and that no plan of Yours can be thwarted.
3 ULB <ಜ್ಞಾನವಿಲ್ಲದೆ ಸತ್ಯಾಲೋಚನೆಯನ್ನು ಮಂಕುಮಾಡುವ ಇವನು ಯಾರು?> ಎಂಬ ನಿನ್ನ ಮಾತಿನಂತೆ ನಾನು ತಿಳಿಯದ ಸಂಗತಿಗಳನ್ನೂ, ನನಗೆ ಗೊತ್ತಿಲ್ಲದೆ ಬುದ್ಧಿಗೆ ಮೀರಿರುವ ಅದ್ಭುತಗಳನ್ನೂ ಕುರಿತು ಮಾತನಾಡಿದ್ದೇನೆ. BSB BSB: You asked, ‘Who is this who conceals My counsel without knowledge?’ Surely I spoke of things I did not understand, things too wonderful for me to know.
4 ULB ದಯಮಾಡಿ ಕೇಳು, ನಾನೇ ಮಾತನಾಡುವೆನು; ನಾನು ಪ್ರಶ್ನೆಮಾಡುವೆನು, ನೀನೇ ನನಗೆ ಉಪದೇಶಿಸು ಎಂದು ಅಪ್ಪಣೆಕೊಟ್ಟೆ. BSB BSB: You said, ‘Listen now, and I will speak. I will question you, and you shall inform Me.’
5 ULB ಕಿವಿಯಿಂದ ನಿನ್ನ ವಿಷಯವನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿದ್ದೆನು, ಈಗಲಾದರೋ ನಿನ್ನನ್ನೇ ಕಣ್ಣಾರೆ ಕಂಡೆನು. BSB BSB: My ears had heard of You, but now my eyes have seen You.
6 ULB ಆದಕಾರಣ ನಾನು ಆಡಿದ್ದನ್ನು ತಿರಸ್ಕರಿಸಿ ಧೂಳಿನಲ್ಲಿಯೂ, ಬೂದಿಯಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಕುಳಿತು ಪಶ್ಚಾತ್ತಾಪಪಡುತ್ತೇನೆ>> ಎಂದನು. BSB BSB: Therefore I despise myself, and I repent in dust and ashes.”
8 ULB ಈಗ ಏಳು ಹೋರಿಗಳನ್ನೂ, ಏಳು ಟಗರುಗಳನ್ನೂ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ನನ್ನ ದಾಸನಾದ ಯೋಬನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಹೋಗಿ ನಿಮ್ಮ ದೋಷಪರಿಹಾರಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಹೋಮಮಾಡಿರಿ. ನನ್ನ ದಾಸನಾದ ಯೋಬನು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಪರವಾಗಿ ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥನೆ ಮಾಡುವನು. ನಾನು ಅವನ ವಿಜ್ಞಾಪನೆಯನ್ನು ಲಾಲಿಸಿ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಮೂರ್ಖತನಕ್ಕೆ ತಕ್ಕ ದಂಡನೆಯನ್ನು ನಿಮಗೆ ವಿಧಿಸುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. ನನ್ನ ದಾಸನಾದ ಯೋಬನು ನನ್ನ ವಿಷಯವಾಗಿ ಸತ್ಯವನ್ನು ನುಡಿದಂತೆ ನೀವು ನುಡಿಯಲಿಲ್ಲ>> ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು. BSB BSB: So now, take seven bulls and seven rams, go to My servant Job, and sacrifice a burnt offering for yourselves. Then My servant Job will pray for you, for I will accept his prayer and not deal with you according to your folly. For you have not spoken accurately about Me, as My servant Job has.”
9 ULB ಆಗ ತೇಮಾನ್ಯನಾದ ಎಲೀಫಜನೂ, ಶೂಹ್ಯನಾದ ಬಿಲ್ದದನೂ, ನಾಮಾಥ್ಯನಾದ ಚೋಫರನೂ ಹೋಗಿ ಯೆಹೋವನು ತಮಗೆ ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಿದ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಮಾಡಲು ಯೆಹೋವನು ಯೋಬನ ವಿಜ್ಞಾಪನೆಯನ್ನು ಲಾಲಿಸಿದನು. BSB BSB: So Eliphaz the Temanite, Bildad the Shuhite, and Zophar the Naamathite went and did as the LORD had told them; and the LORD accepted Job’s prayer.
10 ULB ಯೋಬನು ತನ್ನ ಸ್ನೇಹಿತರಿಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥಿಸಿದ ಬಳಿಕ ಯೆಹೋವನು ಅವನ ದುಸ್ಥಿತಿಯನ್ನು ಹೋಗಲಾಡಿಸಿ, ಅವನ ಸೊತ್ತನ್ನು ಮೊದಲಿಗಿಂತ ಎರಡರಷ್ಟಾಗಿ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿಸಿದನು. BSB BSB: After Job had prayed for his friends, the LORD restored his prosperity and doubled his former possessions.
11 ULB ಆಗ ಅವನ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಅಣ್ಣತಮ್ಮಂದಿರೂ, ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಅಕ್ಕತಂಗಿಯರೂ, ಮೊದಲು ಅವನ ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅವನೊಂದಿಗೆ ಭೋಜನಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಪರಿಚಿತರೂ ಅವನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬಂದು ಯೆಹೋವನು ಅವನ ಮೇಲೆ ಬರಮಾಡಿದ್ದ ಆಪತ್ತಿನ ವಿಷಯವಾಗಿ ತಮ್ಮ ತಮ್ಮ ಅನುತಾಪವನ್ನು ತೋರ್ಪಡಿಸಿ ಅವನನ್ನು ಸಂತೈಸಿದರು. ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಬ್ಬರೂ ಒಂದೊಂದು ವರಹವನ್ನೂ ಒಂದೊಂದು ಚಿನ್ನದ ಉಂಗುರವನ್ನೂ ಅವನಿಗೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟರು. BSB BSB: All his brothers and sisters and prior acquaintances came and dined with him in his house. They consoled him and comforted him over all the adversity that the LORD had brought upon him. And each one gave him a piece of silver and a gold ring.
12 ULB ಯೆಹೋವನು ಯೋಬನ ಮೊದಲನೆಯ ಸ್ಥಿತಿಗಿಂತಲೂ ಅವನ ಕಡೆಯ ಸ್ಥಿತಿಯನ್ನು ಹೀಗೆ ಹೆಚ್ಚಾಗಿ ಆಶೀರ್ವದಿಸಿದನು. ಅವನಿಗೆ ಹದಿನಾಲ್ಕು ಸಾವಿರ ಕುರಿಗಳೂ, ಆರು ಸಾವಿರ ಒಂಟೆಗಳೂ, ಒಂದು ಸಾವಿರ ಜೋಡಿ ಎತ್ತುಗಳೂ, ಒಂದು ಸಾವಿರ ಹೆಣ್ಣುಕತ್ತೆಗಳೂ ಉಂಟಾದವು. BSB BSB: So the LORD blessed Job’s latter days more than his first. He owned 14,000 sheep, 6,000 camels, 1,000 yoke of oxen, and 1,000 female donkeys.
13 ULB ಇಷ್ಟು ಮಾತ್ರವಲ್ಲದೆ ಏಳು ಮಂದಿ ಗಂಡುಮಕ್ಕಳೂ, ಮೂರು ಮಂದಿ ಹೆಣ್ಣುಮಕ್ಕಳನ್ನೂ ಪಡೆದನು. BSB BSB: And he also had seven sons and three daughters.
14 ULB ಮೊದಲನೆಯವಳಿಗೆ ಯೆಮೀಮ, ಎರಡನೆಯವಳಿಗೆ ಕೆಚೀಯ, ಮೂರನೆಯವಳಿಗೆ ಕೆರೆನ್ಹಪ್ಪೂಕ್ ಎಂದು ಹೆಸರಿಟ್ಟನು. BSB BSB: He named his first daughter Jemimah, his second Keziah, and his third Keren-happuch.
15 ULB ಯೋಬನ ಮಕ್ಕಳಷ್ಟು ಸುಂದರಸ್ತ್ರೀಯರು ಆ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಎಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಸಿಕ್ಕುತ್ತಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ. ತಂದೆಯು ಅಣ್ಣತಮ್ಮಂದಿರಿಗೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟ ಹಾಗೆ ಅವರಿಗೂ ಸ್ವತ್ತನ್ನು ಹಂಚಿದನು. BSB BSB: No women as beautiful as Job’s daughters could be found in all the land, and their father granted them an inheritance among their brothers.
16 ULB ಆ ಮೇಲೆ ಯೋಬನು ನೂರನಲ್ವತ್ತು ವರ್ಷ ಬಾಳಿ ತನ್ನ ಮಕ್ಕಳನ್ನು, ಮೊಮ್ಮಕ್ಕಳನ್ನು ಅಂತು ತನ್ನ ಸಂತಾನದ ನಾಲ್ಕು ತಲೆಗಳನ್ನು ಕಂಡನು. BSB BSB: After this, Job lived 140 years and saw his children and their children to the fourth generation.
17 ULB ತರುವಾಯ ಯೋಬನು ಮುಪ್ಪಿನ ಮುದುಕನಾಗಿ ಮರಣ ಹೊಂದಿದನು. BSB BSB: And so Job died, old and full of years.
