14 ULB ಅವರು ಹಗಲಿನಲ್ಲೇ ಕತ್ತಲೆಯಿಂದ ಸುತ್ತುವರೆದು, ಮಧ್ಯಾಹ್ನದಲ್ಲೇ ರಾತ್ರಿಯವರಂತೆ ತಡಕಾಡುತ್ತಾರೆ. BSB BSB: They encounter darkness by day and grope at noon as in the night.

17 ULB ಇಗೋ, ದೇವರು ಯಾರನ್ನು ಶಿಕ್ಷಿಸುವನೋ ಅವನು ಧನ್ಯನು; ಸರ್ವಶಕ್ತನಾದ ದೇವರ ದಂಡನೆಯನ್ನು ತಾತ್ಸಾರಮಾಡಬೇಡ. BSB BSB: Blessed indeed is the man whom God corrects; so do not despise the discipline of the Almighty.
18 ULB ಗಾಯಮಾಡುವವನೂ ಗಾಯಕಟ್ಟುವವನೂ ಆತನೇ; ಹೊಡೆಯುವ ಕೈಯೇ ವಾಸಿಮಾಡುತ್ತದೆ. BSB BSB: For He wounds, but He also binds; He strikes, but His hands also heal.
19 ULB ಆರು ಇಕ್ಕಟ್ಟುಗಳಿಂದ ಆತನು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಬಿಡಿಸುವನು; ಏಳನೆಯ ಇಕ್ಕಟ್ಟು ಉಂಟಾದರೂ ಯಾವ ಕೇಡೂ ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಮುಟ್ಟದು. BSB BSB: He will rescue you from six calamities; no harm will touch you in seven.
20 ULB ಬರಗಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಮರಣದಿಂದಲೂ, ಯುದ್ಧದಲ್ಲಿ ಕತ್ತಿಯಿಂದಲೂ ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಬಿಡಿಸುವನು. BSB BSB: In famine He will redeem you from death, and in battle from the stroke of the sword.
21 ULB ನಾಲಿಗೆಯೆಂಬ ಕೊರಡೆಗೆ ನೀನು ಮರೆಯಾಗಿರುವಿ; ವಿನಾಶವುಂಟಾದರೂ ನೀನು ಹೆದರುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. BSB BSB: You will be hidden from the scourge of the tongue, and will not fear havoc when it comes.
22 ULB ನೀನು ನಾಶಕ್ಕೂ, ಕ್ಷಾಮಕ್ಕೂ ನಗುವಿ; ಕಾಡುಮೃಗಗಳಿಗೆ ಅಂಜಬೇಕಾಗಿಲ್ಲ. BSB BSB: You will laugh at destruction and famine, and need not fear the beasts of the earth.
23 ULB ಹೊಲದ ಕಲ್ಲುಗಳೊಂದಿಗೂ ಒಪ್ಪಂದ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡಿರುವಿ; ಕಾಡುಮೃಗಗಳೂ ನಿನ್ನ ಸಂಗಡ ಸಮಾಧಾನವಾಗಿರುವವು. BSB BSB: For you will have a covenant with the stones of the field, and the wild animals will be at peace with you.
24 ULB ನಿನ್ನ ಗುಡಾರಕ್ಕೆ ಅಪಾಯವಿಲ್ಲವೆಂದು ನಿನಗೆ ಗೊತ್ತೇ ಇರುವುದು; ನಿನ್ನ ಹಟ್ಟಿಯನ್ನು ನೀನು ಪರೀಕ್ಷಿಸುವಾಗ ಏನೂ ಕಡಿಮೆಯಾಗಿರುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. BSB BSB: You will know that your tent is secure, and find nothing amiss when inspecting your home.
25 ULB ನಿನ್ನ ಸಂತಾನವು ದೊಡ್ಡದ್ದೆಂದೂ, ನಿನ್ನ ಸಂತತಿಯವರು ಭೂಮಿಯ ಹುಲ್ಲಿನಂತೆ ಲೆಕ್ಕವಿಲ್ಲದವರು ಎಂದೂ ನಂಬಿರುವಿ. BSB BSB: You will know that your offspring will be many, your descendants like the grass of the earth.
26 ULB ಸುಗ್ಗೀಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ತೆನೆಯ ಸಿವುಡು ಮನೆಗೆ ಸೇರುವಂತೆ, ನೀನು ವೃದ್ಧಾಪ್ಯ ಕಳೆದ ಮೇಲೆ ಸಮಾಧಿಗೆ ಸೇರುವಿ. BSB BSB: You will come to the grave in full vigor, like a sheaf of grain gathered in season.
27 ULB ಇಗೋ, ಇದನ್ನು ವಿಚಾರಿಸಿದ್ದೇವೆ, ಯಥಾರ್ಥವಾಗಿಯೇ ಇದೆ; ಇದನ್ನು ಕೇಳು, ನಿನ್ನಷ್ಟಕ್ಕೆ ನೀನೇ ತಿಳಿದುಕೋ.>> BSB BSB: Indeed, we have investigated, and it is true! So hear it and know for yourself.”
