3 ULB ಆಗ ಯೆಹೂದ್ಯರು ತಮ್ಮ ಸಹೋದರರಾದ ಸಿಮೆಯೋನ್ಯರಿಗೆ, <<ಕಾನಾನ್ಯರೊಡನೆ ಯುದ್ಧಮಾಡುವುದಕ್ಕೋಸ್ಕರ ನೀವು ನಮ್ಮ ಸಂಗಡ ನಮ್ಮ ಸ್ವಾಧೀನದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಭೂಮಿಗೆ ಬನ್ನಿರಿ; ಅನಂತರ ನಾವೂ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಸಂಗಡ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಸ್ವಾಧೀನದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಭೂಮಿಗೆ ಬರುವೆವು>> ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರು. BSB BSB: Then the men of Judah said to their brothers the Simeonites, “Come up with us to our allotted territory, and let us fight against the Canaanites. And we likewise will go with you to your territory.” So the Simeonites went with them.

BSB BSB: When Judah attacked, the LORD delivered the Canaanites and Perizzites into their hands, and they struck down ten thousand men at Bezek.

10 ULB ಅವರು ಮೊದಲು ಕಿರ್ಯತರ್ಬ ಎಂಬ ಹೆಸರಿದ್ದ ಹೆಬ್ರೋನಿಗೆ ಹೋಗಿ ಅಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ಕಾನಾನ್ಯರ ಮೇಲೆ ಬಿದ್ದು, ಅವರಲ್ಲಿ ಶೇಷೈ, ಅಹೀಮನ್, ತಲ್ಮೈ ಎಂಬುವರನ್ನು ಸೋಲಿಸಿದರು. BSB BSB: Judah also marched against the Canaanites who were living in Hebron (formerly known as Kiriath-arba), and they struck down Sheshai, Ahiman, and Talmai.

BSB BSB: “Give me a blessing,” she answered. “Since you have given me land in the Negev, give me springs of water as well.” So Caleb gave her both the upper and lower springs.

BSB BSB: Now the descendants of Moses’ father-in-law, the Kenite, went up with the men of Judah from the City of Palms to the Wilderness of Judah in the Negev near Arad. They went to live among the people.
17 ULB ತರುವಾಯ ಯೆಹೂದ್ಯರು ತಮ್ಮ ಬಂಧುಗಳಾದ ಸಿಮೆಯೋನ್ಯರ ಸಂಗಡ ಹೋಗಿ ಚೆಫತ್ ಎಂಬ ಪಟ್ಟಣದಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ಕಾನಾನ್ಯರನ್ನು ಸೋಲಿಸಿ, ಆ ಪಟ್ಟಣವನ್ನು ಹಾಳುಮಾಡಿ ಅದನ್ನು ಹೊರ್ಮಾ ಎಂದು ಕರೆದರು. BSB BSB: Then the men of Judah went with their brothers the Simeonites, attacked the Canaanites living in Zephath, and devoted the city to destruction. So it was called Hormah.
18 ULB ಅನಂತರ ಅವರು ಗಾಜಾ, ಅಷ್ಕೆಲೋನ್, ಎಕ್ರೋನ್ ಎಂಬ ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳನ್ನೂ ಅವುಗಳ ಮೇರೆಗಳನ್ನೂ ಸ್ವಾಧೀನಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡರು. BSB BSB: And Judah also captured Gaza, Ashkelon, and Ekron—each with its territory.
19 ULB ಯೆಹೋವನು ಯೆಹೂದ್ಯರ ಸಂಗಡ ಇದ್ದುದರಿಂದ ಅವರು ಪರ್ವತಪ್ರದೇಶಗಳನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಸ್ವಾಧೀನಪಡಿಸಿಕೊಂಡರು. ಆದರೆ ತಗ್ಗಿನ ಪ್ರದೇಶಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸಿಸುವವರಿಗೆ ಕಬ್ಬಿಣದ ರಥಗಳಿದ್ದುದರಿಂದ ಅವರನ್ನು ಹೊರಡಿಸುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಆಗಲಿಲ್ಲ. BSB BSB: The LORD was with Judah, and they took possession of the hill country; but they could not drive out the inhabitants of the plains because they had chariots of iron.

23 ULB ಅವರು ಲೂಜ್ ಎಂದು ಕರೆಯುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಬೇತೇಲ್ ಊರನ್ನು ಸಂಚರಿಸಿ ನೋಡುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಗೂಢಚಾರರನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದರು. BSB BSB: They sent spies to Bethel (formerly known as Luz),
24 ULB ಅವರು ಆ ಊರೊಳಗಿನಿಂದ ಬರುವ ಒಬ್ಬ ಮನುಷ್ಯನನ್ನು ಕಂಡು ಅವನಿಗೆ, <<ದಯವಿಟ್ಟು ಪಟ್ಟಣದೊಳಗೆ ನುಗ್ಗಬಹುದಾದ ದಾರಿಯನ್ನು ನಮಗೆ ತೋರಿಸು; ನಾವೂ ನಿನಗೆ ದಯೆತೋರಿಸುವೆವು>> ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಲು ಅವನು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಆ ದಾರಿಯನ್ನು ತೋರಿಸಿದನು. BSB BSB: and when the spies saw a man coming out of the city, they said to him, “Please show us how to get into the city, and we will treat you kindly.”
25 ULB ಆಗ ಅವರು ಆ ಪಟ್ಟಣವನ್ನು ಕತ್ತಿಯಿಂದ ಸಂಹರಿಸಿದರು. ಆದರೆ ಆ ಮನುಷ್ಯನನ್ನೂ ಅವನ ಕುಟುಂಬವನ್ನೂ ಏನು ಮಾಡದೆ ಕಳುಹಿಸಿಬಿಟ್ಟರು. BSB BSB: So the man showed them the entrance to the city, and they put the city to the sword but released that man and all his family.
26 ULB ಅವನು ಹಿತ್ತಿಯರ ದೇಶಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಗಿ ಒಂದು ಪಟ್ಟಣವನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟಿಕೊಂಡು ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಲೂಜ್ ಎಂದು ಹೆಸರಿಟ್ಟನು; ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಇಂದಿನವರೆಗೂ ಅದೇ ಹೆಸರಿರುತ್ತದೆ. BSB BSB: And the man went to the land of the Hittites, built a city, and called it Luz, which is its name to this day.

29 ULB ಎಫ್ರಾಯೀಮ್ಯರು ಗೆಜೆರಿನಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ಕಾನಾನ್ಯರನ್ನು ಹೊರಡಿಸಿಬಿಡಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ಕಾನಾನ್ಯರು ಎಫ್ರಾಯೀಮ್ಯರ ಮಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲೇ ವಾಸಿಸುವವರಾದರು. BSB BSB: Ephraim also failed to drive out the Canaanites living in Gezer; so the Canaanites continued to dwell among them in Gezer.
30 ULB ಜೆಬುಲೂನ್ಯರು ಕಿತ್ರೋನ್, ನಹಲೋಲ್ ಎಂಬ ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳ ನಿವಾಸಿಗಳನ್ನು ಓಡಿಸಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಇದರಿಂದ ಕಾನಾನ್ಯರು ಅವರ ಮಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲೇ ವಾಸಮಾಡುವವರಾದರು. ಆದರೆ ಜೆಬುಲೂನ್ಯರು ಕಾನಾನ್ಯರನ್ನು ಗುಲಾಮರನ್ನಾಗಿ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡರು. BSB BSB: Zebulun failed to drive out the inhabitants of Kitron and Nahalol; so the Canaanites lived among them and served as forced laborers.
31 ULB ಆಶೇರ್ಯರು ಅಕ್ಕೋ, ಚೀದೋನ್, ಅಹ್ಲಾಬ್, ಅಕ್ಜೀಬ್, ಹೆಲ್ಬಾ, ಅಫೀಕ್, ರೆಹೋಬ್ ಎಂಬ ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸವಾಗಿದ್ದ ಜನರನ್ನು ಹೊರಡಿಸಿಬಿಡಲಿಲ್ಲ; BSB BSB: Asher failed to drive out the inhabitants of Acco, Sidon, Ahlab, Achzib, Helbah, Aphik, and Rehob.
32 ULB ಹೀಗಾಗಿ ಆಶೇರ್ಯರು ಕಾನಾನ್ಯರನ ಮಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲೇ ವಾಸಮಾಡಿದರು. BSB BSB: So the Asherites lived among the Canaanite inhabitants of the land, because they did not drive them out.
33 ULB ನಫ್ತಾಲಿ ಕುಲದವರು ಬೇತ್ ಷೆಮೆಷ್, ಬೇತನಾತ್ ಎಂಬ ಊರುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ವಾಧೀನ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳದೆ ಅಲ್ಲಿಯ ನಿವಾಸಿಗಳಾದ ಕಾನಾನ್ಯರ ಮಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲೇ ವಾಸಮಾಡಿದರು ಮತ್ತು ಬೇತ್ ಷೆಮೆಷ್, ಬೇತನಾತ್ ಊರುಗಳ ಜನರು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಗುಲಾಮರಾದರು. BSB BSB: Naphtali failed to drive out the inhabitants of Beth-shemesh and Beth-anath. So the Naphtalites also lived among the Canaanite inhabitants of the land, but the inhabitants of Beth-shemesh and Beth-anath served them as forced laborers.
34 ULB ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಅಮೋರಿಯರು ದಾನ್ ಕುಲದವರನ್ನು ತಗ್ಗಿನ ಪ್ರದೇಶಕ್ಕೆ ಇಳಿಯಗೊಡದೆ ಹಿಂದಟ್ಟಿ ಬೆಟ್ಟಗಳಿಗೆ ಓಡಿಸಿಬಿಟ್ಟರು. BSB BSB: The Amorites forced the Danites into the hill country and did not allow them to come down into the plain.
35 ULB ಹೀಗೆ ಅಮೋರಿಯರು ಅಯ್ಯಾಲೋನ್, ಶಾಲ್ಬೀಮ್ ಎಂಬ ಊರುಗಳ ಬಳಿ ಇದ್ದ ಹರ್ ಹೆರೆಸ್ ಎಂಬ ಬೆಟ್ಟದ ಹತ್ತಿರ ವಾಸಿಸಲು ನಿರ್ಧಾರಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡರು. ಆದರೆ ಯೋಸೇಫನ ಕುಲದವರು ಅವರನ್ನು ಸೋಲಿಸಿ ಗುಲಾಮರನ್ನಾಗಿ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡರು. BSB BSB: And the Amorites were determined to dwell in Mount Heres, Aijalon, and Shaalbim. But when the house of Joseph grew in strength, they pressed the Amorites into forced labor.
36 ULB ಅಮೋರಿಯರ ಮೇರೆಯು ಅಕ್ರಬ್ಬೀಮ್ ಮೇಲುದಿಣ್ಣೆಯಿಂದ ಸೇಲಾ ಊರಿನಿಂದ ಮೇಲಕ್ಕೆ ವಿಸ್ತರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿದೆ. BSB BSB: And the border of the Amorites extended from the Ascent of Akrabbim to Sela and beyond.
