2 ULB ಇಗೋ, ಆ ಸಾವಿರದ ನೂರು ರೂಪಾಯಿಗಳು ನನ್ನ ಹತ್ತಿರ ಇವೆ; ನಾನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದೆನು>> ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು. ಆಕೆಯು, <<ನನ್ನ ಮಗನೇ, ಯೆಹೋವನು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಆಶೀರ್ವದಿಸಲಿ>> ಅಂದಳು. BSB BSB: said to his mother, “The eleven hundred shekels of silver that were taken from you and about which I heard you utter a curse—I have the silver here with me; I took it.” Then his mother said, “Blessed be my son by the LORD!”
3 ULB ಅವನು ಆ ಸಾವಿರದ ನೂರು ರೂಪಾಯಿಗಳನ್ನು ತನ್ನ ತಾಯಿಗೆ ಹಿಂದಕ್ಕೆ ಕೊಡಲು ಆಕೆಯು, <<ನನ್ನ ಮಗನಿಗೆ ಹಿತವಾಗಲೆಂದು ಈ ಹಣವನ್ನು ಯೆಹೋವನಿಗೆ ಹರಕೆಮಾಡಿದ್ದೇನೆ; ಇದರಿಂದ ಒಂದು ಎರಕದ ವಿಗ್ರಹವನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿಸಿ ನಿನ್ನ ವಶಕ್ಕೆ ಕೊಡುವೆನು>> ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿ, BSB BSB: And when he had returned the eleven hundred shekels of silver to his mother, she said, “I wholly dedicate the silver to the LORD for my son’s benefit, to make a graven image and a molten idol. Therefore I will now return it to you.”
4 ULB ಮಗನು ಹಿಂದಕ್ಕೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟ ರೂಪಾಯಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಇನ್ನೂರು ರೂಪಾಯಿಗಳನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದು ಅಕ್ಕಸಾಲಿಗನಿಗೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟಳು. ಅವನು ಅವುಗಳಿಂದ ಕೆತ್ತನೆಯ ಮತ್ತು ಎರಕದ ವಿಗ್ರಹಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿಕೊಟ್ಟನು. ಮೀಕನು ಅದನ್ನು ತನ್ನ ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿಟ್ಟುಕೊಂಡನು. And they were placed in the house of Micah.
5 ULB ಈ ಮೀಕನು ಏಫೋದನ್ನೂ ವಿಗ್ರಹಗಳನ್ನೂ ಮಾಡಿಸಿ, ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ತಾನು ಕಟ್ಟಿಸಿದ ದೇವಸ್ಥಾನದಲ್ಲಿಟ್ಟು, ತನ್ನ ಮಕ್ಕಳಲ್ಲಿ ಒಬ್ಬನನ್ನು ಅರ್ಚಕ ಸೇವೆಗಾಗಿ ಪ್ರತಿಷ್ಠಿಸಿದನು. BSB BSB: Now this man Micah had a shrine, and he made an ephod and some household idols, and ordained one of his sons as his priest.
6 ULB ಆ ಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರೊಳಗೆ ಅರಸನಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಬ್ಬನೂ ಮನಸ್ಸಿಗೆ ಬಂದ ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ನಡೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಿದ್ದನು. BSB BSB: In those days there was no king in Israel; everyone did what was right in his own eyes.
7 ULB ಯೆಹೂದದ ಬೇತ್ಲೆಹೇಮಿನವನೂ, ಯೆಹೂದ ಕುಲದವನೂ ಆಗಿದ್ದ ಒಬ್ಬ ಯೌವನಸ್ಥನಾದ ಲೇವಿಯು ಉಪಜೀವನಕ್ಕೆ ಅನುಕೂಲವಾಗುವಂತೆ BSB BSB: And there was a young Levite from Bethlehem in Judah who had been residing within the clan of Judah.
8 ULB ವಾಸಮಾಡಲು ತನ್ನ ಸ್ವಂತ ಊರನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟು, ಪ್ರಯಾಣಮಾಡುತ್ತಾ ಎಫ್ರಾಯೀಮ್ ಬೆಟ್ಟದ ಸೀಮೆಯಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ಮೀಕನ ಮನೆಗೆ ಬಂದನು. BSB BSB: This man left the city of Bethlehem in Judah to settle where he could find a place. And as he traveled, he came to Micah’s house in the hill country of Ephraim.
9 ULB <<ನೀನು ಎಲ್ಲಿಂದ ಬಂದಿ>> ಎಂದು ಮೀಕನು ಅವನನ್ನು ಕೇಳಲು ಅವನು, <<ನಾನು ಯೆಹೂದದ ಬೇತ್ಲೆಹೇಮಿನವನಾದ ಲೇವಿಯನು; ಉಪಜೀವನಕ್ಕೆ ಅನುಕೂಲವಾದ ವಾಸಸ್ಥಳವನ್ನು ಹುಡುಕಿಕೊಂಡು ಹೊರಟಿದ್ದೇನೆ>> ಎಂದು ಉತ್ತರಕೊಟ್ಟನು. BSB BSB: “Where are you from?” Micah asked him. “I am a Levite from Bethlehem in Judah,” he replied, “and I am on my way to settle wherever I can find a place.”
10 ULB ಮೀಕನು ಅವನಿಗೆ, <<ನೀನು ನಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿರು; ನಮಗೆ ತಂದೆಯೂ, ಯಾಜಕನೂ ಆಗು. ನಿನಗೆ ವರ್ಷಕ್ಕೆ ಹತ್ತು ಬೆಳ್ಳಿ ನಾಣ್ಯಗಳನ್ನೂ, ಬಟ್ಟೆಯನ್ನೂ, ಆಹಾರವನ್ನೂ ಕೊಡುತ್ತೇನೆ>> ಅನ್ನಲು BSB BSB: “Stay with me,” Micah said to him, “and be my father and priest, and I will give you ten shekels of silver per year, a suit of clothes, and your provisions.” So the Levite went in
11 ULB ಆ ಲೇವಿಯನು ಒಪ್ಪಿಕೊಂಡು ಅಲ್ಲೇ ವಾಸಮಾಡಿದನು; ಹೀಗೆ ಆ ಯೌವನಸ್ಥನು ಅವನ ಮಕ್ಕಳಲ್ಲೊಬ್ಬನಂತಾದನು. BSB BSB: and agreed to stay with him, and the young man became like a son to Micah.
12 ULB ಮೀಕನು ಯೌವನಸ್ಥನಾದ ಆ ಲೇವಿಯನನ್ನು ಯಾಜಕಸೇವೆಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಪ್ರತಿಷ್ಠಿಸಿ ತನ್ನ ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿಟ್ಟುಕೊಂಡು, BSB BSB: Micah ordained the Levite, and the young man became his priest and lived in his house.
13 ULB <<ಒಬ್ಬ ಲೇವಿಯು ನನ್ನ ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾಜಕನಾಗಿರುವುದರಿಂದ ಯೆಹೋವನು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಆಶೀರ್ವದಿಸುವನೆಂದು ಬಲ್ಲೆನು>> ಅಂದುಕೊಂಡನು. BSB BSB: Then Micah said, “Now I know that the LORD will be good to me, because a Levite has become my priest.”
