3 ULB ಒಂಭೈನೂರು ಕಬ್ಬಿಣದ ರಥಗಳುಳ್ಳ ಇವನು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ಯರನ್ನು ಇಪ್ಪತ್ತು ವರ್ಷಗಳ ಕಾಲ ಕಠಿಣವಾಗಿ ಬಾಧಿಸುತ್ತಿರಲು ಅವರು ಯೆಹೋವನಿಗೆ ಮೊರೆಯಿಟ್ಟರು. BSB BSB: Then the Israelites cried out to the LORD, because Jabin had nine hundred chariots of iron, and he had harshly oppressed the Israelites for twenty years.

5 ULB ಆಕೆ ಎಫ್ರಾಯೀಮ್ ಬೆಟ್ಟದ ಸೀಮೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ರಾಮಕ್ಕೂ ಬೇತೇಲಿಗೂ ಮಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ದೆಬೋರಳ ಖರ್ಜೂರ ವೃಕ್ಷವೆಂದು ಹೆಸರುಗೊಂಡ ಮರದ ಕೆಳಗೆ ಕುಳಿತುಕೊಂಡಿರುತ್ತಿದ್ದಳು. ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರು ನ್ಯಾಯತೀರ್ಪಿಗಾಗಿ ಆಕೆಯ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬರುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು. BSB BSB: And she would sit under the Palm of Deborah between Ramah and Bethel in the hill country of Ephraim, where the Israelites would go up to her for judgment.
6 ULB ಆಕೆ ನಫ್ತಾಲಿ ದೇಶದ ಕೆದೆಷ್ ಊರಿನಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ಅಬೀನೋವಮನ ಮಗನಾದ ಬಾರಾಕನನ್ನು ಬರಲು ಹೇಳಿ ಅವನಿಗೆ, <<ನಿಶ್ಚಯವಾಗಿ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರ ದೇವರಾದ ಯೆಹೋವನು ನಿನಗೆ, <ಎದ್ದು ನಫ್ತಾಲಿ, ಜೆಬುಲೂನ್ ಕುಲಗಳಿಂದ ಹತ್ತು ಸಾವಿರ ಜನರನ್ನು ಕೂಡಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ತಾಬೋರ್ ಬೆಟ್ಟಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಗು. BSB BSB: She summoned Barak son of Abinoam from Kedesh in Naphtali and said to him, “Surely the LORD, the God of Israel, is commanding you: ‘Go and march to Mount Tabor, taking with you ten thousand men of Naphtali and Zebulun.
7 ULB ನಾನು ಯಾಬೀನನ ಸೇನಾಧಿಪತಿಯಾದ ಸೀಸೆರನನ್ನೂ ಅವನ ಸೈನ್ಯರಥಗಳನ್ನೂ ನಿನ್ನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಕೀಷೋನ್ ಹಳ್ಳಕ್ಕೆ ಎಳೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಬಂದು ನಿನ್ನ ಕೈಗೆ ಒಪ್ಪಿಸುವೆನು ಎಂದು ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಿದ್ದಾನೆ>>> ಅಂದಳು. BSB BSB: And I will draw out Sisera the commander of Jabin’s army, his chariots, and his troops to the River Kishon, and I will deliver him into your hand.’”
8 ULB ಬಾರಾಕನು ಆಕೆಗೆ, <<ನೀನು ನನ್ನ ಸಂಗಡ ಬರುವುದಾದರೆ ಹೋಗುತ್ತೇನೆ; ಇಲ್ಲವಾದರೆ ಹೋಗುವುದಿಲ್ಲ>> ಅನ್ನಲು BSB BSB: Barak said to her, “If you will go with me, I will go; but if you will not go with me, I will not go.”
9 ULB ಆಕೆಯು, <<ನಾನು ಹೇಗೂ ನಿನ್ನ ಸಂಗಡ ಬರುವೆನು; ಆದರೆ ಈ ಯುದ್ಧಪ್ರಯಾಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಉಂಟಾಗುವ ಗೌರವ ನಿನಗೆ ಸಲ್ಲುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. ಯಾಕೆಂದರೆ ಒಬ್ಬ ಸ್ತ್ರೀ ಸೀಸೆರನನ್ನು ಸೋಲಿಸುವಂತೆ ಯೆಹೋವನು ಮಾಡುವನು>> ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿ ದೆಬೋರಳು ಬಾರಾಕನೊಡನೆ ಕೆದೆಷಿಗೆ ಹೋದಳು. BSB BSB: “I will certainly go with you,” Deborah replied, “but the road you are taking will bring you no honor, because the LORD will be selling Sisera into the hand of a woman.” So Deborah got up and went with Barak to Kedesh,
10 ULB ಬಾರಾಕನು ಜೆಬುಲೂನ್ಯರನ್ನೂ, ನಫ್ತಾಲ್ಯರನ್ನೂ ಕೆದೆಷಿಗೆ ಕರೆಯಿಸಿದನು. ಅವರಲ್ಲಿ ಹತ್ತು ಸಾವಿರ ಮಂದಿ ಅವನ ಹೆಜ್ಜೆ ಹಿಡಿದು ಯುದ್ಧಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋದರು, ದೆಬೋರಳೂ ಅವರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಹೋದಳು. BSB BSB: where he summoned Zebulun and Naphtali. Ten thousand men followed him, and Deborah also went with him.

BSB BSB: Now Heber the Kenite had moved away from the Kenites, the descendants of Hobab the father-in-law of Moses, and had pitched his tent by the great tree of Zaanannim, which was near Kedesh.
12 ULB ಅಬೀನೋವಮನ ಮಗನಾದ ಬಾರಾಕನು ತಾಬೋರ್ ಬೆಟ್ಟವನ್ನೇರಿ ಬಂದಿದ್ದಾನೆಂಬ ವರ್ತಮಾನವು ಸೀಸೆರನಿಗೆ ಮುಟ್ಟಿದಾಗ BSB BSB: When Sisera was told that Barak son of Abinoam had gone up Mount Tabor,
13 ULB ಅವನು ತನ್ನ ಒಂಭೈನೂರು ಕಬ್ಬಿಣದ ರಥಗಳನ್ನೂ, ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಸೈನ್ಯವನ್ನೂ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಅನ್ಯಜನರ ಹರೋಷೆತಿನಿಂದ ಕೀಷೋನ್ ಹಳ್ಳಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದನು. BSB BSB: he summoned all nine hundred of his iron chariots and all the men with him, from Harosheth-hagoyim to the River Kishon.
14 ULB ಆಗ ದೆಬೋರಳು ಬಾರಾಕನಿಗೆ, <<ಏಳು, ಯೆಹೋವನು ಸೀಸೆರನನ್ನು ನಿನ್ನ ಕೈಗೆ ಒಪ್ಪಿಸುವ ದಿನವು ಇಂದೇ. ನಿಶ್ಚಯವಾಗಿ ಆತನು ತಾನೇ ನಿನಗೆ ಮುಂದಾಗಿ ಯುದ್ಧಕ್ಕೆ ಹೊರಡುವನು>> ಅನ್ನಲು ಬಾರಾಕನು ಬೇಗನೆ ಹತ್ತು ಸಾವಿರ ಜನರ ಸಹಿತವಾಗಿ ತಾಬೋರ್ ಬೆಟ್ಟದಿಂದ ಇಳಿದನು. BSB BSB: Then Deborah said to Barak, “Arise, for this is the day that the LORD has delivered Sisera into your hand. Has not the LORD gone before you?” So Barak came down from Mount Tabor with ten thousand men following him.
15 ULB ಯೆಹೋವನು ಸೀಸೆರನನ್ನು ಅವನ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಸೈನ್ಯರಥಗಳನ್ನೂ ಬಾರಾಕನ ಮುಂದೆ ಗಲಿಬಿಲಿಗೊಳಿಸಿ, ಕತ್ತಿಗೆ ತುತ್ತಾಗಿಸಿದನು. ಸೀಸೆರನು ರಥದಿಂದ ಇಳಿದು ಓಡಿಹೋದನು. BSB BSB: And in front of him the LORD routed with the sword Sisera, all his charioteers, and all his army. Sisera abandoned his chariot and fled on foot.
16 ULB ಬಾರಾಕನು ಅವನ ಸೈನ್ಯರಥಗಳನ್ನು ಅನ್ಯಜನರ ಹರೋಷೆತಿನ ವರೆಗೂ ಹಿಂದಟ್ಟಿದನು. ಸೀಸೆರನ ಸೈನ್ಯದವರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಕತ್ತಿಯಿಂದ ಹತರಾದರು; ಒಬ್ಬನೂ ಉಳಿಯಲಿಲ್ಲ. BSB BSB: Then Barak pursued the chariots and army as far as Harosheth-hagoyim, and the whole army of Sisera fell by the sword; not a single man was left.
17 ULB ಹಾಚೋರಿನ ಅರಸನಾದ ಯಾಬೀನನಿಗೂ ಕೇನ್ಯನಾದ ಹೆಬೆರನ ಮನೆಯವರಿಗೂ ಸಮಾಧಾನವಿದ್ದುದರಿಂದ ಸೀಸೆರನು ಕಾಲುನಡಿಗೆಯಿಂದ ಕೇನ್ಯನಾದ ಹೆಬೆರನ ಹೆಂಡತಿ ಯಾಯೇಲಳ ಗುಡಾರದ ಕಡೆಗೆ ಹೋದನು. BSB BSB: Meanwhile, Sisera had fled on foot to the tent of Jael, the wife of Heber the Kenite, because there was peace between Jabin king of Hazor and the house of Heber the Kenite.
18 ULB ಯಾಯೇಲಳು ಹೊರಗೆ ಹೋಗಿ ಸೀಸೆರನನ್ನು ಎದುರುಗೊಂಡು ಅವನಿಗೆ, <<ಸ್ವಾಮೀ, ಒಳಗೆ ಬನ್ನಿರಿ; ಹೆದರಬೇಡಿರಿ, ನಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿಗೆ ಬನ್ನಿರಿ>> ಅನ್ನಲು ಅವನು ಗುಡಾರದೊಳಗೆ ಹೋದನು. ಆಗ ಆಕೆಯು ಅವನನ್ನು ಕಂಬಳಿಯಿಂದ ಮುಚ್ಚಿದಳು. BSB BSB: Jael went out to greet Sisera and said to him, “Come in, my lord. Come in with me. Do not be afraid.” So he entered her tent, and she covered him with a blanket.
19 ULB ಅವನು ಆಕೆಗೆ, <<ದಯವಿಟ್ಟು ಸ್ವಲ್ಪ ನೀರನ್ನು ಕೊಡು, ನನಗೆ ಬಹಳ ಬಾಯಾರಿಕೆಯಾಗಿದೆ>> ಅಂದನು. ಆಕೆಯು ಬುದ್ದಲಿಯನ್ನು ಬಿಚ್ಚಿ ಹಾಲನ್ನು ಕುಡಿಯಲು ಕೊಟ್ಟು ಅವನನ್ನು ಪುನಃ ಮುಚ್ಚಿದಳು. BSB BSB: Sisera said to her, “Please give me a little water to drink, for I am thirsty.” So she opened a container of milk, gave him a drink, and covered him again.
20 ULB ಅವನು ಆಕೆಗೆ, <<ನೀನು ಗುಡಾರದ ಬಾಗಿಲಲ್ಲೇ ನಿಂತಿರು; ಯಾರಾದರೂ ಬಂದು <ಇಲ್ಲಿ ಒಬ್ಬ ಮನುಷ್ಯನಿದ್ದಾನೆಯೇ ಎಂದು ವಿಚಾರಿಸಿದರೆ> ಇಲ್ಲ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳು>> ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು. BSB BSB: “Stand at the entrance to the tent,” he said, “and if anyone comes and asks you, ‘Is there a man here?’ say, ‘No.’”
21 ULB ಹೆಬೆರನ ಹೆಂಡತಿಯಾದ ಯಾಯೇಲಳು ಕೈಯಲ್ಲಿ ಗುಡಾರದ ಗೂಟವನ್ನೂ, ಒಂದು ಸುತ್ತಿಗೆಯನ್ನೂ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಅವನು ಆಯಾಸದಿಂದ ಗಾಢನಿದ್ರೆಯಲ್ಲಿದ್ದಾಗ, ಮೆಲ್ಲಗೆ ಹತ್ತಿರ ಹೋಗಿ, ಅವನ ತಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಆ ಗೂಟವನ್ನು ಹೊಡೆದು ನೆಲಕ್ಕೆ ನಾಟಿಸಿದಳು; ಅವನು ಸತ್ತನು. BSB BSB: But as he lay sleeping from exhaustion, Heber’s wife Jael took a tent peg, grabbed a hammer, and went silently to Sisera. She drove the peg through his temple and into the ground, and he died.
22 ULB ಅದೇ ಕ್ಷಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಸೀಸೆರನನ್ನು ಹಿಂದಟ್ಟುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಬಾರಾಕನು ಅಲ್ಲಿಗೆ ಬಂದನು. ಯಾಯೇಲಳು ಹೊರಗೆ ಹೋಗಿ ಅವನನ್ನು ಎದುರುಗೊಂಡು, <<ಬಾ, ನೀನು ಹುಡುಕುವ ಮನುಷ್ಯನನ್ನು ತೋರಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆ>> ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಲು ಅವನು ಒಳಗೆ ಹೋಗಿ ಸೀಸೆರನು ಸತ್ತು ಬಿದ್ದದ್ದನ್ನು ಕಂಡನು. ಅವನ ಕಣ್ತಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಗೂಟವು ಜಡಿದಿತ್ತು. BSB BSB: When Barak arrived in pursuit of Sisera, Jael went out to greet him and said to him, “Come, and I will show you the man you are seeking.” So he went in with her, and there lay Sisera dead, with a tent peg through his temple.
23 ULB ಆ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ದೇವರು ಕಾನಾನ್ಯ ರಾಜನಾದ ಯಾಬೀನನನ್ನು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರ ಮುಂದೆ ತಗ್ಗಿಸಿದನು. BSB BSB: On that day God subdued Jabin king of Canaan before the Israelites.
24 ULB ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರ ಹಸ್ತವು ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಬಲಗೊಂಡದ್ದರಿಂದ ಕಾನಾನ್ಯರ ಅರಸನಾದ ಯಾಬೀನನು ಪೂರ್ಣವಾಗಿ ಸೋತು ನಿರ್ನಾಮವಾದನು. BSB BSB: And the hand of the Israelites grew stronger and stronger against Jabin king of Canaan until they destroyed him.
