3 ULB ನಿಶ್ಚಯವಾಗಿ ಆತನು ನನಗೆ ವಿರುದ್ಧವಾಗಿದ್ದಾನೆ. ದಿನವೆಲ್ಲಾ ನನ್ನ ಮೇಲೆ ಕೈಮಾಡುತ್ತಾ ಬಂದಿದ್ದಾನೆ. BSB BSB: Indeed, He keeps turning His hand against me all day long.
4 ULB ನನ್ನ ಮಾಂಸಚರ್ಮಗಳನ್ನು ಕ್ಷೀಣಿಸುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡಿ, ನನ್ನ ಎಲುಬುಗಳನ್ನು ಮುರಿದಿದ್ದಾನೆ; BSB BSB: He has worn away my flesh and skin; He has shattered my bones.
5 ULB ನನ್ನ ಸುತ್ತಲು ಶ್ರಮಸಂಕಟಗಳ ದಿಬ್ಬಗಳನ್ನು ಹಾಕಿದ್ದಾನೆ. BSB BSB: He has besieged me and surrounded me with bitterness and hardship.
6 ULB ಕಾರ್ಗತ್ತಲಲ್ಲಿ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಇರಿಸಿದ್ದಾನೆ; ಬಹುಕಾಲದ ಹಿಂದೆ ಸತ್ತವರ ಹಾಗೆ ನಾನು ಇದ್ದೇನೆ. BSB BSB: He has made me dwell in darkness like those dead for ages.
7 ULB ನಾನು ತಪ್ಪಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಹೋಗದಂತೆ ನನ್ನ ಸುತ್ತಲು ಗೋಡೆಯನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟಿ, ನನಗೆ ಭಾರವಾದ ಬೇಡಿಯನ್ನು ಹಾಕಿದ್ದಾನೆ. BSB BSB: He has walled me in so I cannot escape; He has weighed me down with chains.
8 ULB ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ನಾನು ಮೊರೆಯಿಟ್ಟು ಕೂಗಿಕೊಂಡರೂ ನನ್ನ ಬಿನ್ನಹಕ್ಕೆ ಕಿವಿಗೊಡುತ್ತಿಲ್ಲ. BSB BSB: Even when I cry out and plead for help, He shuts out my prayer.
9 ULB ನನ್ನ ದಾರಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಅಡ್ಡವಾಗಿ ಕೆತ್ತನೆಯ ಕಲ್ಲಿನ ಗೋಡೆಗಳನ್ನು ಹಾಕಿ, ಹಾದಿಗಳನ್ನು ಸುತ್ತುವರಿಯುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾನೆ. BSB BSB: He has barred my ways with cut stones; He has made my paths crooked.
10 ULB ಆತನು ನನಗೆ ಹೊಂಚುಹಾಕುತ್ತಿರುವ ಕರಡಿಯಂತಿದ್ದಾನೆ, ಗುಪ್ತಸ್ಥಳಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಅಡಗಿಕೊಂಡಿರುವ ಸಿಂಹದ ಹಾಗಿದ್ದಾನೆ. BSB BSB: He is a bear lying in wait, a lion hiding in ambush.
11 ULB ನಾನು ನಡೆದ ದಾರಿಗಳಿಂದ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ತಪ್ಪಿಸಿದ್ದಾನೆ. ಆತನು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ದಿಕ್ಕಿಲ್ಲದವನಂತೆ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾನೆ. BSB BSB: He forced me off my path and tore me to pieces; He left me without help.
12 ULB ತನ್ನ ಬಿಲ್ಲನ್ನು ಬೊಗ್ಗಿಸಿ ಬಾಣಕ್ಕೆ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಗುರಿಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾನೆ. BSB BSB: He bent His bow and set me as the target for His arrow.
13 ULB ತನ್ನ ಬತ್ತಳಿಕೆಯ ಅಂಬುಗಳಿಂದ ನನ್ನ ಅಂತರಂಗಗಳನ್ನು ಇರಿದಿದ್ದಾನೆ. BSB BSB: He pierced my kidneys with His arrows.
14 ULB ನಾನು ಸ್ವಜನರೆಲ್ಲರಿಗೂ ಹಾಸ್ಯಾಸ್ಪದನಾಗಿ, ಹಗಲೆಲ್ಲಾ ಅವರ ಗೇಲಿಯ ಮಾತು ಮತ್ತು ಹಾಡುಗಳಿಗೆ ಗುರಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದೇನೆ. BSB BSB: I am a laughingstock to all my people; they mock me in song all day long.

16 ULB ನಾನು ಗರಸು ಕಲ್ಲುಚೂರುಗಳನ್ನು ಅಗೆಯುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡಿ ನನ್ನ ಹಲ್ಲುಗಳನ್ನು ಮುರಿದುಬಿಟ್ಟು, ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಬೂದಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ತಳ್ಳಿದ್ದಾನೆ. BSB BSB: He has ground my teeth with gravel and trampled me in the dust.
17 ULB ನನ್ನನ್ನು ತಳ್ಳಿಹಾಕಿ ಸಮಾಧಾನಕ್ಕೆ ದೂರಮಾಡಿದ್ದೀ; ನಾನು ಸಂತೋಷವನ್ನು ಮರೆಯುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾನೆ. BSB BSB: My soul has been deprived of peace; I have forgotten what prosperity is.
18 ULB <<ಅಯ್ಯೋ, ನನ್ನ ಶಕ್ತಿಯೆಲ್ಲಾ ಹಾಳಾಯಿತು, ಯೆಹೋವನು ನನಗೆ ದಯಪಾಲಿಸಿದ ನಿರೀಕ್ಷೆಯೂ ವ್ಯರ್ಥವಾಯಿತು>> ಅಂದುಕೊಂಡೆನು. BSB BSB: So I say, “My strength has perished, along with my hope from the LORD.”
19 ULB ನಾನು ಅಲೆದು ಕಷ್ಟಪಟ್ಟದ್ದನ್ನು ನೆನಪಿಗೆ ತಂದುಕೋ, ಕಹಿಯಾದ ನನ್ನ ಆಹಾರಪಾನಗಳನ್ನು ಜ್ಞಾಪಕಮಾಡಿಕೋ. BSB BSB: Remember my affliction and wandering, the wormwood and the gall.
20 ULB ನನ್ನ ಆತ್ಮವು ಇವುಗಳನ್ನು ನಿತ್ಯವೂ ಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಾ ನನ್ನೊಳಗೆ ಕುಗ್ಗಿದೆ. BSB BSB: Surely my soul remembers and is humbled within me.

24 ULB <<ಯೆಹೋವನೇ ನನ್ನ ಪಾಲು, ಆದಕಾರಣ ಆತನನ್ನು ನಿರೀಕ್ಷಿಸುವೆನು>> ಎಂದು ನನ್ನ ಅಂತರಾತ್ಮವು ಅಂದುಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತದೆ. BSB BSB: “The LORD is my portion,” says my soul, “therefore I will hope in Him.”
25 ULB ಯೆಹೋವನು ತನ್ನನ್ನು ನಿರೀಕ್ಷಿಸುವವರಿಗೂ ಮತ್ತು ಹುಡುಕುವವರಿಗೂ ಮಹೋಪಕಾರಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದಾನೆ. BSB BSB: The LORD is good to those who wait for Him, to the soul who seeks Him.
26 ULB ಯೆಹೋವನ ರಕ್ಷಣಕಾರ್ಯವನ್ನು ಎದುರುನೋಡುತ್ತಾ ಶಾಂತವಾಗಿ ಕಾದುಕೊಂಡಿರುವುದು ಒಳ್ಳೇಯದು. BSB BSB: It is good to wait quietly for the salvation of the LORD.
27 ULB ಯೌವನದಲ್ಲಿ ನೊಗಹೊರುವುದು ಮನುಷ್ಯನಿಗೆ ಹಿತಕರ. BSB BSB: It is good for a man to bear the yoke while he is still young.
28 ULB ನನ್ನ ಮೇಲೆ ಇದನ್ನು ಹೊರಿಸಿದವನು ಯೆಹೋವನೇ ಎಂದು ಅವನು ಒಂಟಿಗನಾಗಿ ಕುಳಿತು ಮೌನವಾಗಿರಲಿ. BSB BSB: Let him sit alone in silence, for the LORD has laid it upon him.
29 ULB ಒಂದು ವೇಳೆ ಯೆಹೋವನಿಂದ ಸುಗತಿಯಾದೀತೆಂಬ ನಿರೀಕ್ಷೆಯಿಂದ ತನ್ನ ಮುಖವನ್ನು ಕೊಳಕಿನ ಮೇಲೆ ಹಾಕಲಿ. BSB BSB: Let him bury his face in the dust—perhaps there is still hope.
30 ULB ಹೊಡೆಯುವವನಿಗೆ ತನ್ನ ಕೆನ್ನೆಯನ್ನು ಕೊಟ್ಟು ಅವಮಾನವನ್ನು ಹೊಟ್ಟೆತುಂಬಾ ತಿನ್ನಲಿ. BSB BSB: Let him offer his cheek to the one who would strike him; let him be filled with reproach.
31 ULB ಕರ್ತನು ನಿರಂತರಕ್ಕೂ ಕೈ ಬಿಡುವವನಲ್ಲ. BSB BSB: For the Lord will not cast us off forever.
32 ULB ಆತನು ವ್ಯಥೆಗೊಳಿಸಿದರೇನು, ತನ್ನ ಕೃಪಾತಿಶಯದಿಂದ ಕನಿಕರಿಸುವನು. BSB BSB: Even if He causes grief, He will show compassion according to His abundant loving devotion.
33 ULB ನರಜನ್ಮದವರನ್ನು ಬಾಧಿಸಿ, ವ್ಯಥೆಗೊಳಿಸುವುದು ಆತನಿಗೆ ಇಷ್ಟವಿಲ್ಲ. BSB BSB: For He does not willingly afflict or grieve the sons of men.
34 ULB ಲೋಕದ ಸೆರೆಯವರನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ತನ್ನ ಕಾಲುಗಳ ಕೆಳಗೆ ತುಳಿದುಬಿಡುವುದೂ, BSB BSB: To crush underfoot all the prisoners of the land,
35 ULB ಪರಾತ್ಪರನಾದ ದೇವರ ಸನ್ನಿಧಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನ್ಯಾಯವನ್ನು ತಪ್ಪಿಸುವುದೂ, BSB BSB: to deny a man justice before the Most High,
36 ULB ವ್ಯಾಜ್ಯವನ್ನು ಅನ್ಯಾಯವಾಗಿ ತೀರಿಸುವುದೂ, ಇವುಗಳನ್ನು ಕರ್ತನು ಲಕ್ಷ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ತಾರನೇ? BSB BSB: to subvert a man in his lawsuit—of these the Lord does not approve.
37 ULB ಕರ್ತನ ಅಪ್ಪಣೆಯಿಲ್ಲದೆ ಯಾರ ಮಾತು ಸಾರ್ಥಕವಾದೀತು? BSB BSB: Who has spoken and it came to pass, unless the Lord has ordained it?
38 ULB ಪರಾತ್ಪರನಾದ ದೇವರ ಬಾಯಿಯ ಮಾತಿನಿಂದಲೇ ಮೇಲು ಮತ್ತು ಕೇಡುಗಳು ಸಂಭವಿಸುತ್ತವಲ್ಲಾ. BSB BSB: Do not both adversity and good come from the mouth of the Most High?
39 ULB ಮನುಷ್ಯನಿಗೆ ಜೀವ ವರವಿರಲು ತನ್ನ ಪಾಪದ ಶಿಕ್ಷೆಗಾಗಿ ಗುಣುಗುಟ್ಟುವುದೇಕೆ? BSB BSB: Why should any mortal man complain, in view of his sins?
40 ULB ನಮ್ಮ ನಡತೆಯನ್ನು ಶೋಧಿಸಿ, ಪರೀಕ್ಷಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಯೆಹೋವನ ಕಡೆಗೆ ತಿರುಗಿಕೊಳ್ಳೋಣ. BSB BSB: Let us examine and test our ways, and turn back to the LORD.
41 ULB ಪರಲೋಕದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ದೇವರ ಕಡೆಗೆ ನಮ್ಮ ಕೈಗಳೊಡನೆ ಮನಸ್ಸನ್ನೂ ತಿರುಗಿಸಿ ಸ್ತುತಿಸೋಣ. BSB BSB: Let us lift up our hearts and hands to God in heaven:

44 ULB ನಮ್ಮ ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥನೆಯು ನಿನಗೆ ಮುಟ್ಟಬಾರದೆಂದು ಮೋಡವನ್ನು ಮರೆಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದೀ. BSB BSB: You have covered Yourself with a cloud that no prayer can pass through.
45 ULB ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಜನಾಂಗಗಳ ಮಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಕಸವನ್ನಾಗಿಯೂ ಮತ್ತು ಹೊಲಸನ್ನಾಗಿಯೂ ಹಾಕಿಬಿಟ್ಟಿದ್ದೀ. BSB BSB: You have made us scum and refuse among the nations.
46 ULB ನಮ್ಮ ಶತ್ರುಗಳೆಲ್ಲಾ ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ನೋಡಿ ಹಾಸ್ಯಮಾಡುತ್ತಾರೆ. BSB BSB: All our enemies open their mouths against us.
47 ULB ಭಯವೂ, ಗುಂಡಿಯೂ, ಸಂಹಾರವೂ ಮತ್ತು ಭಂಗವೂ ನಮಗೆ ಕಾದಿವೆ.>> BSB BSB: Panic and pitfall have come upon us—devastation and destruction.
48 ULB ಸ್ವಜನರು ನಾಶವಾದ ಕಾರಣ ನನ್ನ ಕಣ್ಣೀರು ಹೊಳೆಹೊಳೆಯಾಗಿ ಹರಿಯುವುದು. BSB BSB: Streams of tears flow from my eyes over the destruction of the daughter of my people.
49 ULB ಯೆಹೋವನು ಆಕಾಶದಿಂದ ಕಟಾಕ್ಷಿಸಿ ನೋಡುವ ತನಕ BSB BSB: My eyes overflow unceasingly, without relief,
50 ULB ನನ್ನ ಕಣ್ಣುಗಳು ನಿರಂತರವಾಗಿ ಅಶ್ರುಧಾರೆ ಸುರಿಸುವುದನ್ನು, ಎಂದಿಗೂ ಬಿಡದು. BSB BSB: until the LORD looks down from heaven and sees.
51 ULB ನನ್ನ ಪಟ್ಟಣದ ಕನ್ಯೆಯರಿಗಾಗಿ ಅಳುತ್ತಿರುವ ನಾನು ಕಣ್ಣುರಿಯಿಂದ ಪೀಡಿತನಾಗಿದ್ದೇನೆ. BSB BSB: My eyes bring grief to my soul because of all the daughters of my city.
52 ULB ನಿಷ್ಕಾರಣವಾಗಿ ನನ್ನ ವೈರಿಗಳು ಪಕ್ಷಿಯನ್ನೋ ಎಂಬಂತೆ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಆತುರದಿಂದ ಹಿಂದಟ್ಟಿದರು. BSB BSB: Without cause my enemies hunted me like a bird.

55 ULB ಯೆಹೋವನೇ, ಅಗಾಧವಾದ ನೆಲಮಾಳಿಗೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಿನ್ನ ಹೆಸರೆತ್ತಿ ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥಿಸಿದೆನು. BSB BSB: I called on Your name, O LORD, out of the depths of the Pit.
56 ULB ನೀನು ನನ್ನ ಧ್ವನಿಯನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿದಿ; ನನ್ನ ನಿಟ್ಟುಸಿರಿಗೂ ಮತ್ತು ಮೊರೆಗೂ ಕಿವಿಯನ್ನು ಮರೆಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಡ! BSB BSB: You heard my plea: “Do not ignore my cry for relief.”
57 ULB ನಾನು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಕೂಗಿಕೊಂಡಾಗ ನನ್ನ ಸಮೀಪಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದು <<ಭಯಪಡಬೇಡ>> ಎಂದು ಅಭಯವಚನ ನೀಡಿದೆ. BSB BSB: You drew near when I called on You; You said, “Do not be afraid.”
58 ULB ಕರ್ತನೇ, ನೀನು ನನ್ನ ವ್ಯಾಜ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ನಡಿಸಿ, ನನ್ನ ಪ್ರಾಣವನ್ನು ಉಳಿಸಿದ್ದೀ. BSB BSB: You defend my cause, O Lord; You redeem my life.
59 ULB ಯೆಹೋವನೇ, ನನಗಾದ ಅನ್ಯಾಯವನ್ನು ನೋಡಿದ್ದೀ, ನನಗೆ ನ್ಯಾಯತೀರಿಸು. BSB BSB: You have seen, O LORD, the wrong done to me; vindicate my cause!
60 ULB ನನ್ನ ವೈರಿಗಳು ನನ್ನ ಮೇಲೆ ತೀರಿಸಿದ ಹಗೆಯನ್ನೂ ಮತ್ತು ಕಲ್ಪಿಸಿಕೊಂಡ ಯುಕ್ತಿಗಳನ್ನೂ ನೋಡಿದ್ದೀಯಲ್ಲಾ. BSB BSB: You have seen all their malice, all their plots against me.

62 ULB ನಿತ್ಯ ನಡಿಸುತ್ತಿರುವ ತಂತ್ರೋಪಾಯವೂ ಮತ್ತು ನನ್ನ ಎದುರಾಳಿಗಳ ನಿಂದೆಯೂ ನಿನ್ನ ಕಿವಿಗೆ ಬಿದ್ದಿವೆಯಷ್ಟೆ. BSB BSB: the slander and murmuring of my assailants against me all day long.
63 ULB ಅವರು ಕುಳಿತುಕೊಳ್ಳಲಿ, ಏಳಲಿ ನೋಡುತ್ತಲೇ ಇರು; ನಾನು ಅವರ ಗೇಲಿಯ ಹಾಡಿಗೆ ಗುರಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದೇನೆ. BSB BSB: When they sit and when they rise, see how they mock me in song.
64 ULB ಯೆಹೋವನೇ, ಅವರ ದುಷ್ಕೃತ್ಯಗಳಿಗೆ ಸರಿಯಾದ ಪ್ರತಿಫಲವನ್ನು ನೀನು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಕೊಡುವಿ; BSB BSB: You will pay them back what they deserve, O LORD, according to the work of their hands.
65 ULB ಅವರ ಮನಸ್ಸಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಭಯಹುಟ್ಟಿಸುವಿ, ನಿನ್ನ ಶಾಪವು ಅವರ ಮೇಲಿರಲಿ! BSB BSB: Put a veil of anguish over their hearts; may Your curse be upon them!
66 ULB ನೀನು ಕೋಪಗೊಂಡು ಅವರನ್ನು ಹಿಂದಟ್ಟಿ ಅವರು ನಿನ್ನ ಕೈಕೆಲಸವಾಗಿರುವ ಆಕಾಶದ ಕೆಳಗೆ ಉಳಿಯದಂತೆ ಅಳಿಸಿಬಿಡುವಿ. BSB BSB: You will pursue them in anger and exterminate them from under Your heavens, O LORD.
